Dim and small target detection plays an important role in infrared target recognition systems. In this paper, we present a dim and small target detection algorithm based on improved bilateral filtering and Gaussian motion probability estimation, aiming to improve the detection efficiency of the detection system. First, a bilateral filtering algorithm based on image patch analysis is proposed to complete the background modeling, compare with single pixel, image patch contains more neighborhood information. Then, we use the Gaussian process combining the target position of consecutive $n$ frames to predict the target position of the $(n+1)\text{th}$ frame, and the target energy is accumulated along the trajectory direction at the same time. Finally, we construct the grayscale probability model to realize the multi-frame correlation detection, which combining the grayscale features and the motion characteristics of the target. Six scenes and eleven comparison algorithms are selected for experiments, experimental results show the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed algorithm.

To improve the detection ability of infrared dim and small targets in complex cloud backgrounds, we present a novel method based on motion energy estimation. First, according to the characteristic of the gradient between the target and the background, we propose a new diffusion function and combine with the gradient difference to complete the background suppression. Then an improved high-order correlation algorithm is proposed to enhance the target signal through the motion correlation properties of the target, which build the gradient difference discrimination model between the target and four adjacent directions to establish the region of interest model, then realizes the high-order energy enhancement of the region of interest and further eliminate the clutters at the same time. Finally, the motion model of the target in the inter-frame spatial-temporal domain is constructed to estimate the motion direction of the target, then realizes the target energy accumulation along the motion direction and obtains the maximum energy of the target to detect the real target. In the experiment, we select six scenes for testing, the experimental results show that the proposed method has an excellent detection performance compared with six traditional detection algorithms in infrared dim and small target detection.

Recursive neural networks and transformers have recently become dominant in hyperspectral (HS) image classification due to their ability to capture long-range dependencies in spectral sequences. Despite the success of these sequential architectures, mainstream deep learning methods primarily handle two-dimensional structured data. However, challenges such as the curse of dimensionality, spectral variability, and confounding factors in hyperspectral remote sensing images limit their effectiveness, especially in remote sensing applications. To address this issue, this paper proposes a novel land cover classification algorithm that integrates random forests with a spectral transformer network structure (RS-Net). Firstly, this paper presents a combination of the Gramian Angular Field (GASF) and Gramian Angular Difference Field (GADF) algorithms, which effectively maps the multidimensional time series constructed for each pixel onto two-dimensional image features, enabling precise extraction and recognition in the backend network algorithms and improving the classification accuracy of land cover types. Secondly, to capture the relationships between features at different scales, this paper proposes a SpectralFormer network architecture using the Context and Structure Encoding (CASE) module to effectively learn dependencies between channels. This architecture enhances important features and suppresses unimportant ones, thereby addressing the semantic gap and improving the recognition capability of land cover features. Finally, the final prediction results are determined by a voting mechanism from the Random Forest algorithm, which synthesizes predictions from multiple decision trees to enhance classification stability and accuracy. To better compare the performance of RS-Net, this paper conducted extensive experiments on three benchmark HS datasets obtained from satellite and airborne imagers, comparing various classic neural network models. Substantial advancements have been achieved in hyperspectral image (HSI) classification through contemporary deep learning techniques. Nevertheless, the incorporation of an excessive number of irrelevant tokens in large-scale remote sensing data results in inefficient long-range modeling. To overcome this hurdle, this study introduces the Group-Sensitive Selective Perception Transformer (GSAT) framework, which builds upon the Vision Transformer (ViT) to enhance HSI classification outcomes. The innovation of the GSAT architecture is primarily evident in several key aspects. Firstly, the GSAT incorporates a Group-Sensitive Pixel Group Mapping (PGM) module, which organizes pixels into distinct groups. This allows the global self-attention mechanism to function within these groupings, effectively capturing local interdependencies within spectral channels. This grouping tactic not only boosts the model's spatial awareness but also lessens computational complexity, enhancing overall efficiency. Secondly, the GSAT addresses the detrimental effects of superfluous tokens on model efficacy by introducing the Sensitivity Selection Framework (SSF) module. This module selectively identifies the most pertinent tokens for classification purposes, thereby minimizing distractions from extraneous information and bolstering the model's representational strength. Furthermore, the SSF refines local representation through multi-scale feature selection, enabling the model to more effectively encapsulate feature data across various scales. Additionally, the GSAT architecture adeptly represents both global and local features of HSI data by merging global self-attention with local feature extraction. This integration strategy not only elevates classification precision but also enhances the model's versatility in navigating complex scenes, particularly in urban mapping scenarios where it significantly outclasses previous deep learning methods. The advent of the GSAT architecture not only rectifies the inefficiencies of traditional deep learning approaches in processing extensive remote sensing imagery but also markededly enhances the performance of HSI classification tasks through the deployment of group-sensitive and selective perception mechanisms. It presents a novel viewpoint within the domain of hyperspectral image classification and is poised to propel further advancements in the field. Empirical testing on six standard HSI datasets confirms the superior performance of the proposed GSAT method in HSI classification, especially within urban mapping contexts, where it exceeds the capabilities of prior deep learning techniques. The prompt acquisition of precise land cover categorization data is indispensable for the strategic development of contemporary farming practices, especially within the realm of forestry oversight and preservation. Forests are complex ecosystems that require precise monitoring to assess their health, biodiversity, and response to environmental changes. The existing methods for classifying remotely sensed imagery often encounter challenges due to the intricate spacing of feature classes, intraclass diversity, and interclass similarity, which can lead to weak perceptual ability, insufficient feature expression, and a lack of distinction when classifying forested areas at various scales. In this study, we introduce the DASR-Net algorithm, which integrates a dual attention network (DAN) in parallel with the Residual Network (ResNet) to enhance land cover classification, specifically focusing on improving the classification of forested regions. The dual attention mechanism within DASR-Net is designed to address the complexities inherent in forested landscapes by effectively capturing multiscale semantic information. This is achieved through multiscale null attention, which allows for the detailed examination of forest structures across different scales, and channel attention, which assigns weights to each channel to enhance feature expression using an improved BSE-ResNet bilinear approach. The two-channel parallel architecture of DASR-Net is particularly adept at resolving structural differences within forested areas, thereby avoiding information loss and the excessive fusion of features that can occur with traditional methods. This results in a more discriminative classification of remote sensing imagery, which is essential for accurate forest monitoring and management. To assess the efficacy of DASR-Net, we carried out tests with 10m Sentinel-2 multispectral remote sensing images over the Heshan District, which is renowned for its varied forestry. The findings reveal that the DASR-Net algorithm attains an accuracy rate of 96.36%, outperforming classical neural network models and the transformer (ViT) model. This demonstrates the scientific robustness and promise of the DASR-Net model in assisting with automatic object recognition for precise forest classification. Furthermore, we emphasize the relevance of our proposed model to hyperspectral datasets, which are frequently utilized in agricultural and forest classification tasks. DASR-Net's enhanced feature extraction and classification capabilities are particularly advantageous for hyperspectral data, where the rich spectral information can be effectively harnessed to differentiate between various forest types and conditions. By doing so, DASR-Net contributes to advancing remote sensing applications in forest monitoring, supporting sustainable forestry practices and environmental conservation efforts. Due to the impact of global warming, drought has caused serious damage to China's ecological environment and social status. This article selects Laibin City in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as the research area, utilizing multispectral remote sensing data as the data source and Landsat series image data for relevant preprocessing. It calculates the monthly normalized vegetation index (NDVI) and surface temperature (LST) data for Laibin City. Based on the ecological environment and surface coverage conditions of the research area, the ratio vegetation index (RVI), normalized vegetation moisture index (NDWI), temperature vegetation drought index (TVDI), and conditional vegetation temperature drought index (VTCI) were selected to calculate and invert the drought monitoring results of Laibin City. The drought monitoring results were obtained and overlaid with the vegetation area map to generate the vegetation drought monitoring results of Laibin City. Based on the climate, geography, and ecological characteristics of the monitored area in Laibin City, a specific analysis will be conducted to develop an appropriate TVDI index drought level, and generate vegetation drought level result maps for Laibin City in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Then, a detailed analysis of the vegetation drought situation in Laibin City is conducted according to time and space. Among them, in the past three years, the vegetation areas in Laibin City have experienced drought seasons mostly in summer and autumn. The interannual drought is mainly mild drought, and the proportion of areas with mild drought shows a relatively stable trend. In remote sensing image processing, when categorizing images from multiple remote sensing data sources, the deepening of the network hierarchy is prone to the problems of feature dispersion, as well as the loss of semantic information. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes to integrate a parallel network architecture HDAM-Net algorithm with a hybrid dual attention mechanism Hybrid dual attention mechanism for forest land cover change. Firstly, we propose a fusion MCA + SAM (MS) attention mechanism to improve VIT network, which can capture the correlation information between features; secondly, we propose a multilayer residual cascade convolution (MSCRC) network model using Double Cross-Attention Module (DCAM) attention mechanism, which is able to efficiently utilize the spatial dependency between multiscale encoder features: the spatial dependency between multiscale encoder features. Finally, the dual-channel parallel architecture is utilized to solve the structural differences and realize the enhancement of forestry image classification differentiation and effective monitoring of forest cover changes. In order to compare the performance of HDAM-Net, mountain urban forest types are classified based on multiple remote sensing data sources, and the performance of the model is evaluated. The experimental results show that the overall accuracy of the algorithm proposed in this paper is 99.42%, while the Transformer (ViT) is 96.92%, which indicates that the proposed classifier is able to accurately determine the cover type.The HDAM-Net model emphasizes the effectiveness in terms of accurately classifying the land, as well as the forest types by using multiple remote sensing data sources for predicting the future trend of the forest ecosystem. In addition, the land utilization rate and land cover change can clearly show the forest cover change and support the data to predict the future trend of the forest ecosystem so that the forest resource survey can effectively monitor deforestation and evaluate forest restoration projects. Small target detection in high strength clutter background is in great in remote imaging system, a new improved spatio-temporal filtering was proposed in this paper. Firstly, traditional anisotropy filtering has poor suppression effect in strength edge contour region, so a new diffusion filtering function proposed in paper. According to the analysis with difference of each component of the image, a new anisotropy diffusion function is constructed in this paper. When the difference of background and target is small, this algorithm will give in large diffusion coefficient to filter most background clutter and retain target signal well which achieves background prediction better. Secondly, because the traditional spatiotemporal filter algorithm cant follow the motion object in the fixed search pipe diameter what will make lose the target detection, a new weight constraint function of adaptive change of the search diameter in this paper is built which can change the search diameter with the moving of target, and improve the detection accuracy. Finally, experiments show that compared with traditional algorithms and detected in different scenes, this method can enhance small target detection effectively.

Infrared small target detection technology plays a crucial role in various fields such as military reconnaissance, power patrol, medical diagnosis, and security. The advancement of deep learning has led to the success of convolutional neural networks in target segmentation. However, due to challenges like small target scales, weak signals, and strong background interference in infrared images, convolutional neural networks often face issues like leakage and misdetection in small target segmentation tasks. To address this, an enhanced U-Net method called MST-UNet is proposed, the method combines multi-scale feature decomposition and fusion and attention mechanisms. The method involves using Haar wavelet transform instead of maximum pooling for downsampling in the encoder to minimize feature loss and enhance feature utilization. Additionally, a multi-scale residual unit is introduced to extract contextual information at different scales, improving sensory field and feature expression. The inclusion of a triple attention mechanism in the encoder structure further enhances multidimensional information utilization and feature recovery by the decoder. Experimental analysis on the NUDT-SIRST dataset demonstrates that the proposed method significantly improves target contour accuracy and segmentation precision, achieving IoU and nIoU values of 80.09% and 80.19%, respectively. Although existing 3D object-detection methods have achieved promising results on conventional datasets, it is still challenging to detect objects in data collected under adverse weather conditions. Data distortion from LiDAR and cameras in such conditions leads to poor performance of traditional single-sensor detection methods. Multi-modal data-fusion methods struggle with data distortion and low alignment accuracy, making accurate target detection difficult. To address this, we propose a multi-modal object-detection algorithm, Snow-CLOCs, specifically for snowy conditions. In image detection, we improved the YOLOv5 algorithm by integrating the InceptionNeXt network to enhance feature extraction and using the Wise-IoU algorithm to reduce dependency on high-quality data. For LiDAR point-cloud detection, we built upon the SECOND algorithm and employed the DROR filter to remove noise, enhancing detection accuracy. We combined the detection results from the camera and LiDAR into a unified detection set, represented using a sparse tensor, and extracted features through a 2D convolutional neural network to achieve object detection and localization. In order to solve the problem of how to perform path planning for AUVs with multiple obstacles in a 3D underwater environment, this paper proposes a six-direction search scheme based on neural networks. In known environments with stationary obstacles, the obstacle energy is constructed based on a neural network and the path energy is introduced to avoid a too-long path being generated. Based on the weighted total energy of obstacle energy and path energy, a six-direction search scheme is designed here for path planning. To improve the efficiency of the six-direction search algorithm, two optimization methods are employed to reduce the number of iterations and total path search time. The first method involves adjusting the search step length dynamically, which helps to decrease the number of iterations needed for path planning. The second method involves reducing the number of path nodes, which can not only decrease the search time but also avoid premature convergence. By implementing these optimization methods, the performance of the six-direction search algorithm is enhanced in favor of path planning with multiple underwater obstacles reasonably. In order to improve the detection ability of dim and small targets in dynamic scenes, this paper first proposes an anisotropic gradient background modeling method combined with spatial and temporal information and then uses the multidirectional gradient maximum of neighborhood blocks to segment the difference maps. On the basis of previous background modeling and segmentation extraction candidate targets, a dim small target detection algorithm for local energy aggregation degree of sequence images is proposed. Experiments show that compared with the traditional algorithm, this method can eliminate the interference of noise to the target and improve the detection ability of the system effectively.

In this paper, we propose a new filtering switch with excellent working performance made using an optimized coupled microstrip line. Upon analyzing the RF (radio frequency) front-end's system structure, the switching device was simplified to a diode, which was connected to the microstrip circuit we designed to become a filter switch with both filtering and shutdown functions. First, we obtained an equivalent schematic of this filtering switch based on the relevant microstrip line theory. This switch consists of two coupled microstrip circuits, parallel-coupled feed lines and coupled-line stub-load resonators (CLSs), and a PIN diode. Second, the operating principle is described by the switching of the operating states, with ideal shutdown performance in the off state and considerable selectivity and excellent out-of-band rejection performance in the filtered state. Finally, a prototype filtering switch with a center frequency of 0.8 GHz was designed and tested. After subsequent optimization and improvement, the simulation and test performance results were noticeably consistent, consequently verifying the performance requirements of this filtering switch in two operating states in the center frequency band.
