Purpose: There is a limited availability of multidomain interventions that target cognitive frailty. Thus, the aim of the present study was to develop and evaluate the content validity and acceptance of the multidomain intervention module to reverse cognitive frailty among older adults (iAGELESS). Patients and Methods: This study was conducted in two phases: Phase I included the development of the multidomain intervention module iAGELESS and evaluation of content validity, while Phase II consisted of evaluating the acceptance of the module among 18 healthcare and social care providers, 13 older adults with cognitive frailty, and 13 caregivers. Content validity index (CVI) was used to quantify the content validity. Respondents completed a questionnaire which consisted of information on sociodemographic, followed by module acceptance evaluation with respect to content, terminologies, and graphics. The data was then analyzed descriptively. Results: A multidomain intervention module, iAGELESS was developed. The module was found to have appropriate content validity (overall CVI = 0.83). All the caregivers, 92% of older adults with cognitive frailty and 83% of healthcare and social care providers were satisfied with the overall content of the module. More than 50% of those who accepted the module had satisfactory consensus on the ease of the terminologies, length of sentences, pictures, information, color, and font size included in the module. Conclusion: The iAGELESS module demonstrated good content validity and was well accepted, thus warranting its utilization in future studies to determine its effectiveness in reversing cognitive frailty among older adults. Physical inactivity is a major global health concern, contributing to the rising non-communicable disease burden. Elucidating barriers and facilitators influencing participation is critical to promoting activity. This study aimed to synthesize the literature and analyze the extent of research on determinants of physical activity engagement. Scoping review methodology guided the synthesis of 272 publications on factors influencing physical activity. Bibliometric analysis examined publication trends, productivity, influential studies, content themes, and collaboration networks. Results: Since 2010, the United States has led a significant increase in research output. Highly cited articles identified physiological limitations and psychosocial determinants as key barriers and facilitators. Extensive focus was seen in clinical medicine and exercise science journals. Analysis revealed predominant attention to psychosocial factors, physiological responses, and applications in respiratory disease. Gaps remain regarding policy and environmental factors. Conclusion: This review showed major advances in elucidating determinants while revealing the remaining needs to curb the pandemic of inactivity globally. Expanding international collaboration, contemporary theoretical models, and tailored mixed-methods approaches could promote progress through greater global participation. Background: Telehealth is an alternative platform in managing and delivering health care services to clients using information and communication technologies (ICT). Usage of digital technology among older adults is influenced by many internal and external factors. However, information related to the readiness of tehnology use in developing multi‐domain telehealth among community‐dwelling older adults was still lacking. Method: This study was part of the screening phase of an ongoing Ageless trial for developing multi‐domain telehealth intervention for CF older adults. This study included community dwelling older adults aged 60 years and above with cognitive frailty assessed using Fried's criteria. A questionnaire related to digital technology usage was administered to evaluate the need assessement of ICT literacy. Sampling method was purposive sampling. Data was analysed descriptively and using the Chi Square test. Result: At this preliminary stage, 170 older adults (68.5 year old ± 5.7) living in Kuala Lumpur city participated. Majority of the participants were females (60.6%), from Malay ethnic group (71.2%), married (60.6%), attained upper secondary education level (29.7%) and retired. About one‐third of participants were precognitively‐frail (30.4%) and prefrail (32.8%) and were able to access internet (26.7%) at their homes using smartphones (34.1%), followed by computers or laptops (3.0%) and tablets (2.7%). Older adults with CF used less digital technology and reduced playing games on their phone (4.4%). Therefore, the framework of multi‐domain telehealth intervention designed for older adults must include senior‐friendly specifications for motivating its use among them. Proper training and guidance may boost confidence of older people to use the telehealth. Components in multi‐domain telehealth have to provide more educational talks, assistance during session and design more friendly‐user. Conclusion: Our preliminary results suggest that older adults with cognitive frailty utilised less digital technology and preferred senior‐friendly and less complex digital technology. Promotion and expansion of the use digital technology among older adults with CF especially in rural area must be emphasized. Introduction: Dietary inflammation is a significant risk factor for age-related cognitive impairments among older adults. However, information related to the relationship between Empirical Dietary Inflammatory Index (eDII) score and cognitive frailty (CF) among Malaysian community-dwelling older adults is still limited. The objective of this study is to determine the association between dietary inflammatory risk and CF among community-dwelling older adults. Method: This is a cross sectional study involving community-dwelling older adults in Klang Valley. The Fried's Criteria and Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR) were used to determine CF status. Subjects were also interviewed using the Dietary History Questionnaire (DHQ) and eDII food checklist to assess the food intake and dietary inflammatory risk. Data collected was analyzed using SPSS version 26.0. Results: A total of 158 older adults (66.7 ± 5.2 years old) residing in Klang Valley were involved. Energy and macronutrients have a weak positive association with pro-inflammatory score (p<0.05). There is no significant mean difference between CF older adults consumed a more pro-inflammatory diet (mean 2.07 ± 1.10) compared to non CF (mean 2.06 ± 1.14). However, white rice food item significantly consumed by CF people (22.4%) than non CF (8.5%) (p<0.05). Conclusion: CF older adults were more likely to consume a pro-inflammatory diet particularly from the rice food group. There is a need to further assess the risk of consuming a pro-inflammatory diet using larger sample size and appropriate biomarkers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
