This research is motivated by the negative impact of the rapid development of globalization which is the main cause of the decline in the sense of nationalism. The decline in the spirit and attitude of nationalism among the youth is currently getting higher. Youth who should have a sense of love and pride for their country, in fact, have an indifferent attitude that results in their laziness to participate in the flag ceremony, undisciplined, preferring foreign products, and ashamed to wear their own nation's cultural attributes such as the use of batik. This opinion caused various problems among students, namely during the flag ceremony there were still many students who were not disciplined, some did not participate in the flag ceremony at all, did not memorize the Indonesian national anthem, did not memorize Pancasila, did not follow the rules and regulations, and do not respect each other. This research uses a qualitative approach and case study research methods. Data collection techniques carried out in this study were interviews, observations, and documentation studies as well as data analysis techniques by means of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification as well as data validity. The results of this study indicate that (a) The Rengasdengklok historical site is relevant to be used as a learning resource for Civics because it is full of struggle values that can be used to increase the students' spirit of nationalism. (b) The role of teachers in schools is quite good by coordinating with schools and accommodating students well. (c) The results from the use of historical sites have quite an impact as shown by changes in students' attitudes towards a better direction. (d) while in the process of utilization, there are obstacles and ways to overcome them. External and internal constraints can be resolved by coordination between all elements such as the principal, vice principal of the curriculum section, PPKn teachers, and students.

Open innovation involves external parties of the organization in innovation activities within the organization, resulting in the flow of knowledge and information internally and externally (inbound and outbound). Given the advantages of having external support in the internal innovation process, organizations are starting to adopt the open innovation model to help them achieve and sustain innovation. The parties involved in open innovation are suppliers, consumers, competitors, and society. Such involvement will increase the organization’s ability to achieve better performance. This study aims to provide a more updated, comprehensive, and clearer picture of the importance of organizational readiness to innovate, especially through open innovation. This study also seeks to present a more comprehensive identification of the impact of open innovation on company performance by using a systematic literature study. The systematic literature review conducted in this study can serve as a basis for future research that discusses policy strategies to improve organizational performance through the implementation of open innovation. Based on a systematic literature review, 33 main articles were obtained in accordance with the research objectives including different types of open innovation manifestations and specific open innovation practices implemented by organizations.

Two organizations can share knowledge to determine the success of their collaboration. Effectiveness in sharing knowledge affect the organizational performance and trust between organizations. This study aims to identify the implementation of multi-agent simulations to increase confidence in sharing knowledge between organizations. A multi-agent simulation approach was used in this study. The research model was adopted from previous research. Several hypotheses and path coefficients had tested in simulation models. The results of this study showed that multi-agent simulation is suitable to be implemented as a problem-solving method for a complex problem such as knowledge sharing. Besides, this study found the role of individual factors such as likability and expertise on the success of sharing knowledge between organizations.

One of aspect that contributes to improving organizations performance is knowledge transfer effectiveness. On the other hand, knowledge transfer is a dynamic interaction between people, process, and environment so that activity related to knowledge transfer categorized as a complex and adaptive process. The use of agent-based modeling and simulation approach is very appropriate in modeling knowledge transfer due to its ability to deal with the dynamic, complex, and adaptive process. Moreover, the agent-based approach has the ability in describing the interaction between the social agent that possess particular behavior. The purposes of this study are to identify the factors that influence the success of knowledge transfer in the university laboratory. In addition, the results show that agent-based modeling and simulation approach can determine the best scenario that can increase the success of knowledge transfer based on grouping of colleagues.

The cumulative capacitated vehicle routing problem (CCVRP) is a CVRP that aims to minimize the cumulative of vehicle arrival times at every customer. This problem is suitable for the customer-centric or service-centric problem to increase the service level at customers. In the routing problem, there are many metaheuristic methods applied to solve the problem. Previous studies show that the record to record travel algorithm (RRT) has been proven to have excellent and competitive results when solving the VRP. In this paper, an RRT based algorithm is developed to address CCVRP. Several local searches (uphill and downhill moves), two general structures, and parameter values are adopted in the proposed algorithm. The dataset from previous studies is used to test the algorithm. The result obtained shows that the total cost and CPU time are competitive when compared with the published result.

Open innovation is a collaborative approach to integrate knowledge into innovative process. The purpose of this research is to develop the simulation model for open innovation in the course development process. A university in Indonesia is used as a research object. Every year, all lecturer assistants from different laboratory discuss each other with a various opinion related to all important criteria to make a new solution. Simulation-based programming is used to simulate the behavior of people in the course development process. The first step is to develop the simulation model for calculating the interaction model. An individual interaction model step is used to determine the core processes in the model. The last step is testing the model in the course development process. The result shows that after 37 interaction, all the opinion become a new solution hence the model can be used as a tool for creating the open innovation process. The result shows that all participants have the same opinion with the new solution.

The traveling repairman problem (TRP) is a variant of the traveling salesman problem (TSP). TRP is more complicated than TSP because this problem aims to minimize the cost related to vehicle arrival times at customers. This problem is suitable for the customer-centric case to increase the customer satisfaction level. In the TRP, heuristic or metaheuristic methods can be used to solve the problem. Previous published researches show that a record-to-record travel algorithm (RRT) has been proven to have good results. RRT has never been used in previous TRP case. So, this paper aims to propose a two-phased metaheuristic method based on RRT algorithm to solve TRP model. This paper uses several local searches in two movement mechanisms (uphill and downhill moves), TRP general structure, and parameter value for iteration has been modified. A small dataset from previous researches is used to test the proposed algorithm. The experiment shows that the proposed algorithm produces good results (average deviation compared to best known result only 1.48%).

The capacitated vehicle routing problem (CVRP) arises in daily logistics problem. Here a set of customers are served by a number of similar vehicles originated from a depot. The aim is to find the shortest routes to serve the customers. An adaptation of the variable neighborhood search (VNS) is used to solve the CVRP. In the algorithm, a threshold is applied in the shaking procedure. A number of neighborhood and local searches are used in the searching process. In the local search, the first improvement search strategy is used. Five instances from literature are used to test the proposed algorithm. The solutions produced are good, as the average deviation obtained by the proposed algorithm is just 0.04% less than the average deviation of the recently published CVRP paper.

Pemilihan supplier merupakan suatu aktivitas penting dalam kegiatan kolaborasi antar perusahaan. Perusahaan manufaktur harus memperhatikan seluruh aspek dari supplier dan bukan hanya melihat pada aspek yang melekat terhadap produk saja, melainkan aspek penting lainnya seperti aspek manajemen organisasi. Kapabilitas, reputasi, dan etika kerjasama supplier harus diperhatikan untuk menjaga konsistensi kolaborasi yang terjadi. Manajemen organisasi perusahaan supplier yang baik akan menciptakan suatu sistem yang reliabel dan berdampak pada peningkatakan kemampuan daya saing bagi perusahaan manufaktur ataupun supplier itu sendiri. Salah satu teknik pemilihan supplier yang dapat digunakan untuk menghasilkan solusi yang baik adalah metode Fuzzy Analytical Network Process (F-ANP). Metode tersebut dapat menghasilkan kualitas solusi yang tinggi, dimana tingkat subjektivitas dan ketidakakuratan yang terjadi dapat terminimalisir dibandingkan dengan metode ANP biasa. Pada penelitian ini, salah satu perusahaan manufaktur yang memprioritaskan manajemen organisasi sebagai aspek penting dalam kolaborasi supplier dijadikan objek penelitian. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan urutan pemilihan prioritas supplier yang lebih komprehensif dan lebih baik dengan mempertimbangkan kriteria manajemen organisasi didalamnya.

The implementation of e-learning become more and more popular among higher education institution. However, the costly implementation of e-learning not a guarantee that it will be successfully adopted. There are reports where the adoption rate of e-learning users is often low, resulting the expected benefits failed to be achieved. In order to solve this issue, the important factors that influence users’ adoption and usage rate need to be identified. Therefore, this study aims to identify the critical factors of e-learning success in higher education. A systematic literature review protocols was employed in this study to identify the success factor of e-learning from previous literature. The review process is conducted towards articles published in science direct and emerald insight from the past 10 years. There are total 20 articles selected as primary articles for further review. According to the articles reviewed in this study, the success of e-learning implementation is reflected on three variables i.e. users’ satisfaction, actual usage, and continuance usage. Moreover, there are six dimension that is critical towards e-learning success i.e. students’ characteristics, instructors’ characteristics, users’ extrinsic motivation, infrastructure and system quality, course and content quality, and organizational support.

Supply Chain is a sequence of production processes, include raw material supply activities (inbound logistics), production processes, and distribution activities (outbound logistics). Every supply chain activity has risk. A risk mitigation strategy is important because the company will be able to identify the right strategy to handle those risks. Companies must be able to predict all risks that occur in supply chain activities, both of inbound logistics and outbound logistics. A manufacturing company in Indonesia that produces military and heavy equipment doesn’t have a risk mitigation strategy in raw material distribution activity, so this research proposes risk mitigation strategies using House of Risk method with Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) models. Identification of supply chain activities involving of company’s plan, source, make, deliver, and return. House of Risk has two phases, first used to identify risk event, risk agent, and determine severity and occurrence value and calculating the Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP), second used for risk mitigation. Research results found there are 35 risk events, 51 risk agents, and three mitigation strategies that can be implemented in the company. Mitigation strategies, include: calculating the recording of revenue records for errors in the estimation of production capacity risk, procurement is not according to plan risk, and many damaged materials risk; improving the number of operators for errors in estimated production capacity risk; and Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) for error in MRP simulations risk.

The transportation routing problem is a very popular field in operations research and management science area. Many previous researches are still continuing to develop model and algorithm to produce the best transportation route optimization in various research objects. Technology has enabled the development of the intelligent decision support system (I-DSS) to optimize transportation route. Although technology has evolved, there are still few researches that build I-DSS software to minimize transportation distance and fuel consumption, especially using the metaheuristic approach. Thus, this paper aims to develop I-DSS software to minimize fuel consumption and travel distance by considering time-windows constraint using metaheuristic approach. The software can receive input dynamically to evaluate and select the best transportation route. The results of this software have been tested using real historical data from one of tour and travel company in Indonesia. The company provides travel services using a bus to visit several tourist attractions based on the opening hours of the destinations. I-DSS software output shows that the travel distance is 25.64% more efficient than the current real conditions. In addition, the fuel consumption produced by I-DSS is better than the actual conditions, which is 17.35% more efficient.

Tacit knowledge transfer is essential since it is considered as a source of sustainable competitive advantage in an organization. According to the previous study, source, recipient, knowledge characteristic and transfer mechanism play important role in determining the effectiveness of tacit knowledge transfer. Moreover, this study also considered the relationship between tacit knowledge transfer effectiveness and individual performance. An agent-based modeling approach was employed in this study since the approach is considered perfectly qualified in dealing with a complex system like knowledge transfer. This study aimed to investigate the change of individual work performance with the consideration of the feedback loop mechanism in the model using the agent-based approach. Data used in this study were collected from 15 university laboratories in a university in Indonesia. Three scenarios with various conditions are generated in this study. The result of all scenarios indicates that several strategies can be implemented in real condition to enhance organization member work performance based on the simulation output. In addition, there is a finding that recipient characteristic likeabsorptive capacity is a key driver to enhance knowledge transfer effectiveness and individual performance.

Penerapan file sharing terpusat pada suatu jaringan tentu memudahkan dalam berbagi dan sebagai media penyimpanan yang lain selain pada komputer lokal. Aplikasi samba menyedia sistem file sharing, menyediakan berbagai fitur dalam sistem file sharing tersebut yaitu, kredetial menggunakan username dan password dalam pengaksesan, dan hak akses folder yang hanya dapat diakses oleh user-user tertentu. Perusahaan PT. Lumbung Riang Communication memerlukan sistem dalam jaringan perusahaan untuk divisi-divisi tertentu sebagai pertukaran data antar divisi dalam jaringan dan cadangan penyimpanan dalam jaringan yang hanya dapat diakses oleh divisidivisi tersebut, karena metode pertukaran informasi digital yang digunakan sebelumnya menggunakan email yang bermediakan jaringan internet. Dalam peneltian ini dilakukan rancang bangun sistem file sharing terpusat menggunakan aplikasi samba dan dilakukan analisis perbandingan antara metode sebelumnya dengan metode menggunakan sistem file sharing terpusat bermediakan jaringan lokal.

The Inventory Routing Problem (IRP) is a problem that can be found in distributing goods. It considers the two important aspect such as inventory management and vehicle routing processes. This paper addresses the IRP multi-period, multi-product, and multi-supplier with capacitated homogenous fleet that housed at depot. Products are transport from supplier to assembly plant in finite horizon. The objective of this study is to minimize inventory and travel cost in distribution processes. A two stage algorithm is proposed. In the first stage, the initial solution is obtained using the least cost insertion algorithm. The results are improved in the second stage with a record-to-record travel algorithm that employ the 1-0 and 2-Opt local search. The algorithm is tested using the data sets from the literature and the data is processed using the software program that has been built. The results obtained are good compare to previous research, and the proposed algorithm produce short computational time.

Source, recipient, and knowledge characteristic play an important role towards tacit knowledge transfer effectiveness. Moreover, to foster the transmission of tacit knowledge, it is required to define the mechanism, whether it is a formal or informal mechanism. Therefore, the effect of transfer mechanism together with the source, recipient, and knowledge characteristic towards tacit knowledge transfer effectiveness should be properly examined. Since knowledge transfer is considered as a complex system, the usage of agent-based approach is perfectly qualified. The purpose of this study is to examine tacit knowledge transfer effectiveness by generating all possible scenarios based on source, recipient, and knowledge characteristic in formal and informal transfer mechanism using agent-based modeling and simulation approach. The result of this study found that the developed model has successfully generated the knowledge transfer effectiveness score by the error of 5%. The informal mechanism for some activities is the better strategy for transfer mechanism.

The relationship between manufacturer and supplier in the automotive industry involves process of knowledge sharing. Knowledge sharing is an important process that may improve manufacturer and supplier performances. In a co-opetition business environment, companies tend to limit knowledge sharing, if they regard their partners as potential competitors. Trust is used to reflect the level of co-opetition relationship. This study identified the influence of inter-organizational trust towards knowledge sharing, and identified factors affecting inter-organizational trust (participation, communication, influence strategy, power, opportunistic behavior, behavioral uncertainty, inter-personal trust). Additionally, this study identified factors affecting inter-personal trust (expertise, likability, and interaction). Data were collected from 97 manufacturer-supplier relationships in Indonesia. The results of this study, power and behavioral uncertainty have non-significant influence towards inter-organizational trust, as well as interaction towards inter-personal trust.

Program bus sekolah gratis merupakan salah satu program yang sedang dikembangkan untuk menunjang kemajuan pendidikan. Penentuan rute dan jumlah bus sekolah yang dapat meminimumkan biaya perjalanan dan pengadaan kendaran merupakan aspek penting dalam menerapkan program bus sekolah tersebut. Penelitian ini membangun algoritma dan program perangkat lunak untuk model school bus routing problem (SBRP) yang dapat meminimisasi biaya perjalanan dan biaya investasi jumlah kendaraan bus. Algoritma record-to-record travel digunakan untuk mendapatkan solusi yang baik dengan waktu komputasi yang relatif cepat pada program perangkat lunak yang dibangun. Karakteristik model SBRP pada penelitian ini, bus memiliki kapasitas terbatas dan homogen, titik awal bus berada di depot, lalu mendatangi beberapa halte dimana setiap halte memiliki jumlah penumpang yang deterministik. Setelah mendatangi halte terakhir, bus akan mendatangi halte dengan arah kebalikannya yang diakhiri di titik awal (depot). Program bus sekolah gratis di Kota Bandung dijadikan objek penelitian mengingat program tersebut sedang diterapkan dan dievaluasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas penggunaannya. Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini, model SBRP dan algoritma record-to-record travel yang dibangun dan diujikan pada kasus bus sekolah di Kota Bandung memperlihatkan solusi yang layak dan baik. Proses pengelompokkan bus per wilayah Kota Bandung dapat dihasilkan dan menunjukkan biaya perjalanan dan biaya investasi pengadaan kendaraan bus yang minimum. Selain itu, algoritma ini terbukti dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan SBRP dengan waktu komputasi yang cepat, yaitu dibawah 10 detik.
