This is the third out of five chapters of the final report [1] of theWorkshop on Physics at HL-LHC, and perspectives on HE-LHC [2]. It is devoted tothe study of the potential, in the search for Beyond the Standard Model (BSM)physics, of the High Luminosity (HL) phase of the LHC, defined as$3~\mathrm{ab}^{-1}$ of data taken at a centre-of-mass energy of$14~\mathrm{TeV}$, and of a possible future upgrade, the High Energy (HE) LHC,defined as $15~\mathrm{ab}^{-1}$ of data at a centre-of-mass energy of$27~\mathrm{TeV}$. We consider a large variety of new physics models, both in asimplified model fashion and in a more model-dependent one. A long list ofcontributions from the theory and experimental (ATLAS, CMS, LHCb) communitieshave been collected and merged together to give a complete, wide, andconsistent view of future prospects for BSM physics at the consideredcolliders. On top of the usual standard candles, such as supersymmetricsimplified models and resonances, considered for the evaluation of futurecollider potentials, this report contains results on dark matter and darksectors, long lived particles, leptoquarks, sterile neutrinos, axion-likeparticles, heavy scalars, vector-like quarks, and more. Particular attention isplaced, especially in the study of the HL-LHC prospects, to the detectorupgrades, the assessment of the future systematic uncertainties, and newexperimental techniques. The general conclusion is that the HL-LHC, on top ofallowing to extend the present LHC mass and coupling reach by $20-50\%$ on mostnew physics scenarios, will also be able to constrain, and potentiallydiscover, new physics that is presently unconstrained. Moreover, compared tothe HL-LHC, the reach in most observables will generally more than double atthe HE-LHC, which may represent a good candidate future facility for a finaltest of TeV-scale new physics.

The Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) is a mature option for the future of highenergy physics. It combines the benefits of the clean environment of $e^+e^-$colliders with operation at high centre-of-mass energies, allowing to probescales beyond the reach of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) for many scenariosof new physics. This places the CLIC project at a privileged spot in betweenthe precision and energy frontiers, with capabilities that will significantlyextend knowledge on both fronts at the end of the LHC era. In this report wereview and revisit the potential of CLIC to search, directly and indirectly,for physics beyond the Standard Model.

Plasma-activated water (PAW) can be used as an alternative to reduce the consumption of cleaning chemicals and cleaning time in the cleaning of facilities for the processing of cosmetics and other hygiene-critical products. PAW shows a comparable cleaning effect to conventional cleaning agents and can also be used to clean product residues from the cosmetics industry. PAW offers potential for more efficient cleaning processes and saving process steps. It can also provide ecological benefits in disposal. Studies have shown that PAW is similarly effective as conventional cleaning agents and offers the possibility to combine cleaning and disinfection in one step. PAW can be stored for longer periods without losing its effectiveness, leading to lower costs and easier disposal. Future investigations on the concentration of important reactive species in PAW and their behavior during storage are recommended. [Extracted from the article]

Plasma-activated water (PAW) can be a possible alternative to reduce the consumption of cleaning chemicals and cleaning time when cleaning systems for processing cosmetics and other hygiene-critical products. Its reactive species, which are formed during activation, have a germicidal effect. In the following, it was investigated whether PAW can also be used as a cleaning agent. For this purpose, a process for the production of PAW was first developed, with which PAW with pH values in the range of 2 to 3 could be produced. The stability of the properties of PAW after production was also tested. The cleaning effect of PAW was then determined using three different test soils from the food sector. Both the swelling tests and the cleaning tests in a flow channel showed that PAW has a comparable swelling capacity and cleaning effect to that of conventional cleaning agents. It is assumed that these results can also be transferred to the cleaning of product residues from the cosmetics sector, such as creams or lotions. In the future, PAW offers great potential for more efficient design of cleaning processes, particularly with regard to the possible combination of cleaning and disinfection and the associated saving of individual process steps, which can significantly increase the production time for cosmetic products. PAW can also have advantages over conventional cleaning agents in terms of disposal, as the reactive species can usually be reacted or neutralised in a targeted manner and can therefore be discharged into the sewage system at low cost. Background: CAB LA dosed at 2-month intervals demonstrated viro-logic efficacy in maintaining HIV-1 suppression as part of a dual regimen with rilpivirine LA and is undergoing Phase 3 evaluation as a single agent for HIV-1 pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). CAB pharma-cokinetics (PK) in plasma and mucosal tissues associated with sexual HIV-1 transmission were evaluated following single CAB LA IM injection. Methods: Participants received 4 weeks of daily oral CAB 30 mg, followed by 14 to 42 day washout and a single ultrasound-guided gluteal IM injection of CAB LA 600 mg (3 mL). PK samples were collected after oral dosing and through 12 weeks post-injection in plasma, rectal tissue (RT), cervical tissue (CT), vaginal tissue (VT), cervicovaginal fluid (CF), and rectal fluid (RF). CAB concentrations were determined by HPLC-MS/MS. PK parameters were estimated using noncompartmental analysis. Pearson correlations of time-matched tissue and plasma concentration pairs were determined. Results: Nineteen participants (10F, 9M) enrolled with mean age 33 years, weight 79.4 kg, and BMI 27.2 kg/[m.sup.2]. Two participants withdrew before injections, one did not undergo tissue sampling, and one was hospitalized for unrelated serotonin syndrome. Median CAB concentration-time profiles are presented by matrix (Figure 1). Median CAB tissue:plasma ratio was 9% to 10% in RT (r = 0.96), 14% to 18% in CT (r = 0.94), 14% to 16% in VT (r = 0.92), 8% to 13% in CF (r = 0.65), 32% to 45% in RF (r = 0.19). Geometric mean (CVb%) plasma half-life was 19.1 (81.4%) days. Conclusions: Plasma CAB PK was consistent with prior studies, and CAB concentrations in tissue and fluid were proportional to plasma over time. Correlations with plasma concentrations were stronger for tissue (RT, CT, VT) than for luminal fluid (CF and RF). Tissue concentrations were 1/6th (CT, VT) to 1/10th (RT) of plasma concentrations. With sufficient distribution into mucosal tissues associated with sexual HIV-1 transmission, CAB tissue:plasma ratios may serve as important measurements in evaluating CAB LA as an effective PrEP agent., OA04.03 E.
