The aim of the study is to examine the effect of functional threshold power training applied to young elite cyclists on power and strength parameters. 24 young elite level cyclists participated voluntarily. In our study, it was divided into two groups as Functional threshold training group (FTTG) and Traditional training group (TTG). Functional threshold training group n:12 (age 17 years, height 1,73±8,5 m., body weight 64,87±10.4 kg. and sports age 4,6±1.3), Traditional training group) n:12 (age 17 years, height 1,73±8,81 m., body weight 58,8±9,1 kg. and sports age 4,1 years). 30 sec Anaerobic power test, 20 min FTP test, 40 km. endurance and strength tests were applied to both groups as pre-post test. The obtained data were compared using the within-group Paired T test and the between-group Independent T test in the IBM SPSS Statistics 24.0 program. The significance of detecting network traffic anomalies in cybersecurity cannot be overstated, especially given the increasing frequency and complexity of computer network attacks. As new Internet-related technologies emerge, so do more intricate attacks. One particularly daunting challenge is represented by dictionary-based bruteforce attacks, which require effective real- time detection and mitigation methods. In this paper, we investigate Secure Shell or Secure Socket Shell, is a network protocol that gives users, particularly system administrators, a secure way to access a computer over an unsecured network(SSH)and File Transfer Protocol is a standard network protocol used for the transfer of files from one host to another over a TCP-based network, such as the Internet (FTP) brute-force attack detection by using Our research focuses on using the machine learning approach to detect SSH and FTP brute-force attacks. A reasonably thorough investigation of machine learners' efficacy in identifying brute force assaults on SSH and FTP is made possible by employing several classifiers. Bruteforce assaults are a popular and risky method of obtaining usernames and passwords. Applying ethical hacking is an excellent technique to examine the effects of a brute-force assault. This article discusses many defense strategies and approaches to using bruteforce assaults. This article deals with the potential of digitalization to improve participants' skills in the agri-food market. The topic of improving technical mechanisms and software technologies aimed at the qualitative development of e-education in Russia is being updated. The problems of providing the agri-food market with skilled personnel are analyzed. The problems of terminological uncertainty concerning the concepts of digitalization and distance education in computer sciences (informatics), information sciences, and other related scientific fields that have a negative impact on the overall wide turnover of scientific research, are touched upon. The authors propose a single generalized nonhierarchical technological model of the organization of e-education, schematically describing a set of software technologies in the form of a cloud telecommunications system. Particularly, it is recommended to use multicasting technologies and adaptive network means of signal delivery to promote educational content in the form of internet television. The basic integrative network tools and protocols for the specific organization of electronic educational activities via internet television are technically annotated. The conclusions briefly and conceptually reflect the course of the research, as well as the logic of the material analyzed by the authors, summarizing the research work done and to provide some recommendations for the operation of multicasting technology in the form of internet television in Russia. This article discusses whether iPerf can be used as an effective tool for wired and wireless LAN throughput estimation. The potential advantages of using iPerf in comparison to FTP are discussed. Finally, the article presents the throughput measurement results obtained with FTP, iPerf2 and iPerf3 in a simple experimental network.

The participation of individuals with special needs in performance sports has been increasing from past to present. As in athletes with normal development, stages are planned and implemented in accordance with the goals of high-level performance sports. This study aims to determine the functional threshold power (FTP), VO2max and anaerobic threshold values of a cyclist with special needs to create performance prediction for athletes in similar disability groups. Fırat Uğur, a 26-year-old athlete with special needs who has been participating in cycling competitions for three years and has a body weight of 68 kg and a height of 180.5 cm, participated in the current study. In the findings obtained from the study, the normalized power value of the athlete was found as 204.3 watts, the FTP value as 204.3 watts and the relative power value as 3.00 watts / kg. The athlete's VO2max value was 48.3 ml/kg/min; VO2max load was 298 watts, and VO2max heart rate was 175 beats/min, anaerobic threshold VO2 value was 24.7 ml/kg/min, anaerobic threshold load was 103 watts and anaerobic threshold heart rate was 127 beats/min. When the research findings of the cyclists with special needs were compared with the results obtained from the current study, Fırat Uğur's findings were at lower levels. Considering that the athlete has only participated in competitions as a performance athlete for three years, it can be predicted that he will increase his performance level in the following years. It is recommended that the athlete's training be prepared according to the findings obtained and that the performance development be followed with measurements to be made at regular intervals.

American-style football (ASF) players experience repetitive head impacts that may result in chronic traumatic encephalopathy neuropathological change (CTE-NC). At present, a definitive diagnosis of CTE-NC requires the identification of localized hyperphosphorylated Tau (p-Tau) after death via immunohistochemistry. Some studies suggest that positron emission tomography (PET) with the radiotracer [18F]-Flortaucipir (FTP) may be capable of detecting p-Tau and thus establishing a diagnosis of CTE-NC among living former ASF players. To assess associations between FTP, football exposure, and objective neuropsychological measures among former professional ASF players, we conducted a study that compared former professional ASF players with age-matched male control participants without repetitive head impact exposure. Former ASF players and male controls underwent structural magnetic resonance imaging and PET using FTP for p-Tau and [11C]-PiB for amyloid-β. Former players underwent neuropsychological testing. The ASF exposure was quantified as age at first exposure, professional career duration, concussion signs and symptoms burden, and total years of any football play. Neuropsychological testing included measures of memory, executive functioning, and depression symptom severity. P-Tau was quantified as FTP standardized uptake value ratios (SUVR) and [11C]-PiB by distribution volume ratios (DVR) using cerebellar grey matter as the reference region. There were no significant differences in [18F]-FTP uptake among former ASF players (n = 27, age = 50 ± 7 years) compared with control participants (n = 11, age = 55 ± 4 years), nor did any participant have significant amyloid-β burden. Among ASF participants, there were no associations between objective measures of neurocognitive functioning and [18F]-FTP uptake. There was a marginally significant difference, however, between [18F]-FTP uptake isolated to the entorhinal cortex among players in age-, position-, and race-adjusted models (p = 0.05) that may represent an area of future investigation. The absence of increased [18F]-FTP uptake in brain regions previously implicated in CTE among former professional ASF players compared with controls questions the utility of [18F]-FTP PET for clinical evaluation in this population. Purpose: To (1) compare the power output (PO) for both the 20-minute functional threshold power (FTP20) field test and the calculated 95% (FTP95%) with PO at maximal lactate steady state (MLSS) and (2) evaluate the sensitivity of FTP95% and MLSS to training-induced changes. Methods: Eighteen participants (12 males: 37 [6] y and 6 females: 28 [6] y) performed a ramp-incremental cycling test to exhaustion, 2 to 3 constant-load MLSS trials, and an FTP20 test. A total of 10 participants returned to repeat the test series after 7 months of training. Results: The PO at FTP20 and FTP95% was greater than that at MLSS (P =.00), with the PO at MLSS representing 88.5% (4.8%) and 93.1% (5.1%) of FTP and FTP95%, respectively. MLSS was greater at POST compared with PRE training (12 [8] W) (P =.002). No increase was observed in mean PO at FTP20 and FTP95% (P =.75). Conclusions: The results indicate that the PO at FTP95% is different to MLSS, and that changes in the PO at MLSS after training were not reflected by FTP95%. Even when using an adjusted percentage (ie, 88% rather than 95% of FTP20), the large variability in the data is such that it would not be advisable to use this as a representation of MLSS. According to the unified arrangement of Document No. 12 of 2018 issued by the Central Committee of Communist Party of China (CPC) and the State Council, the first free trade port (FTP) with Chinese characteristics was to be built in Hainan. Certain difficulties and challenges will inevitably arise during the building of the port, including lack of a unified foreign trade structure, low added value for the tourism industry, low utilization rate of foreign investment, and lack of innovation and openness within the financial industry. However, Hainan also enjoys certain advantages that are conducive to the building of a FTP, such as the existence of its natural outlying islands, a sound ecological environment, experience in reform and innovation of special economic zones, and policy support from the central government, as well as other basic conditions beneficial to the construction of such a port. Hainan must learn from the successful experience of other international FTPs in areas such as trade regulation, business environment, port clearance, financial openness, and fiscal and tax policies. It will be necessary for China to benchmark not only against the highest international standards but also to focus on positioning by differentiated functions, lay a solid foundation for development and transcend policy incentives, make up for financial shortcomings, encourage financial openness and innovation, and carry out differentiated fiscal and tax policies. At the same time, the division of powers and functions between the central and local governments must be properly handled, and an integrated administrative organization that promotes collaboration between the central and local governments must be established. IntroductionAmyloid-related imaging abnormalities (ARIA) are a common, dose-dependent effect of amyloid-targeting antibodies, strongly associated with the apolipoprotein E (APOE) ε4 allele.MethodsWe describe the clinical course and management of a 66-year-old white male (APOE ε4/ε4) enrolled in an observational study that included amyloid and tau positron emission tomography (PET), who received aducanumab through the ENGAGE clinical trial.ResultsAcute symptoms included headache and encephalopathy, and magnetic resonance imaging revealed ARIA-E and ARIA-H. Malignant hypertension and epileptiform activity were treated with nicardipine and levetiracetam. Subsequent clinical/imaging worsening prompted a course of methylprednisolone. Symptoms and ARIA-E resolved over 6 months, while ARIA-H persisted. Quantitative analysis of interval amyloid PET showed reduced signal in pre-existing areas but increased signal posteriorly; while tau PET showed increased signal overall.DiscussionIn an APOE ε4/ε4 patient, ARIA symptoms were accompanied by malignant hypertension and epileptiform activity, and pulsed steroids reversed edema. Studies from larger cohorts may clarify the optimal treatment and pathophysiology of ARIA.

Effective network communication is thought to require a solid foundation and dependable network architecture. This is necessary for the network's many connected devices to distribute data effectively. This study took into account a well-known local area network topology with a star topology to accomplish this goal. Three architectures for the ICT Center network: ICT Centre A, ICT Centre B, and ICT Centre C were each modelled in an OPNET simulation environment using application traffic from HTTP, FTP, Email, and Database. The number of workstations in each architecture ranged from 40 to 80 to 120. Statistics like Ethernet delay (sec), load (bits/sec), and traffic received (bits/sec) were taken into consideration for each Centre. Due to a large number of workstations, the server at ICT Centre C delivered the highest traffic volume, while ICT Centre B outperformed the others in terms of Ethernet delay reduction. The server at ICT Centre C had the highest load. This demonstrates the need for a lower number of workstations to be taken into account when designing a communication network for faster data transmission. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this article, the authors present a data-driven architecture-based malware exploit analysis as the next part of the Penetration Testing article series. The analysis contributes greatly to investigating malicious attacks, which are becoming increasingly sophisticated in cyberspace, thus posing a significant threat to the information and communication networks of state and non-state actors. To achieve their research objectives, the authors use analytical evaluation methods to define the principles, modular elements and procedures of the data-driven architecture to be applied, where decisions are made based on the available data. Engine and aftertreatment solutions are being identified to meet the upcoming ultra-low NOx regulations on heavy duty vehicles as published by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and proposed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) for the year 2027 and beyond. These standards will require changes to current conventional aftertreatment systems for dealing with low exhaust temperature scenarios. One approach to meeting this challenge is to supply additional heat from the engine; however, this comes with a fuel penalty which is not attractive and encourages other options. Another method is to supply external generated heat directly to the aftertreatment system. The following work focuses on the later approach by maintaining the production engine calibration and coupling this with an Electric Heater (EH) upstream of a Light-Off Selective Catalytic Reduction (LO-SCR) followed by a primary aftertreatment system containing a downstream Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR). External heat is supplied to the aftertreatment system using an EH to reduce the Tailpipe (TP) NOx emissions with minimal fuel penalty. Two configurations have been implemented, the first is a Close Coupled (CC) LO-SCR configuration and the second is an Underfloor (UF) LO-SCR configuration. The CC LO-SCR configuration shows the best outcome as it is closer to the engine, helping it achieve the required temperature with lower EH power while the UF LO-SCR configurations addresses the real-world packaging options for the LO-SCR. This work shows that a 7 kW EH upstream of a LO-SCR, in the absence of heated Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), followed by a primary aftertreatment system met the 2027 NOx regulatory limit. It also shows that the sub-6-inch diameter EH with negligible pressure drop can be easily packaged into the future aftertreatment system.

In China, with the rise of third-party payments such as WeChat Pay and Alipay, the traditional business of banks has been greatly affected. Banks can encourage and expand QR code payments to merchants. Therefore, it is meaningful to analyze and study the QR code work of banks. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the execution of the zero-rate of the comprehensive payment QR code combined with the payment cycle and Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) on commercial banks in China. Based on the manually collected customer data of Chinese commercial banks, this paper conducts a case analysis combined with the calculation method of financial indicators. As a result of the study, it was found that commercial banks need to continue to implement the policy as the advantages of introducing the integrated QR code fee rate 0 policy are greater than the disadvantages. This paper provides feasible suggestions on how to quickly occupy the offline payment market for commercial banks, which has guiding significance for commercial banks' marketing decisions. The use of modern digital ultra and very high frequency (UHF/VHF) radio stations in the construction of digital governmental automated control systems (ACS) of the low echelon management level has led to the creation of protocols and standards that allow data transmission in low-bandwidth communication networks. However, none of these standards provide recommendations for file transfer in communication networks facing low speed, long delay and high probability of data loss. This work investigates QoS parameters and performs comparative analysis of FTP, TFTP, SCP, SFTP, ETFTP protocols for file transfer in low-bandwidth communication networks based on UHF/VHF radio stations. A model of two Harris RF-7850M-HH radio stations connected by an attenuator and coaxial cables was used to measure the QoS parameters. The characteristics including the bandwidth, jitter and average time of data transmission depending on the operating modes of radio stations and the level of attenuation in the radio communication channel have been obtained. The time of file transfer and the actual size of the transmitted data when using these protocols was measured. The recommendations for use of file transfer protocols in radio communication channels depending on the operating mode of the radio station are given. The obtained results allow to rationally choosing the mechanism and algorithm of file transfer when building governmental ACS of the low echelon management level based on low-bandwidth communication networks to increase the efficiency of bandwidth use in radio networks.

Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) broadband network technology has created great influence in the evolution of broadband wireless networks that are anticipated to progress regarding broadband speed and coverage. Several Wi-Fi hotspots are available everywhere, making it a medium of internet access that is easier to use compared to a local area network (LAN). However, the internet being the best effort network doesn’t provide the required Quality of Service (QoS) and there is no differentiation of service traffic. The chief aim of the current paper is to study the operation of the three organizing mechanisms: First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method – the standard method of network implementation to process the packets one by one as it arrives, Priority Queuing (PQ) and Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ) whereas PQ and WFQ classify the types of traffic based on service priority. In addition, WFQ assigns fair weight to each service on multiple traffic classes like video conferencing, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), and File Transfer Protocol (FTP), using Telkom ST3’s Wi-Fi network. This study applies four different scenarios: the first scenario applies the methods without any queuing discipline; the second scenario implements the methods with FIFO; the third scenario carries out the methods with PQ and the last scenario applies the methods with WFQ. The studies have shown that “end-to-end packet delay and packet delay variation for VoIP in the WFQ scenario” is good when compared to other queuing mechanisms with values of 171.717 ms and 0.977 ms, respectively. In the case of videotape conferencing also, the performance is better in the case of WFQ with values of 32.495 ms and 7.207 ms, correspondingly, since the WFQ has a “bandwidth allocation” tailored to the requirements. El objetivo del artículo es determinar el grado de aversión al riesgo implícito en el precio de mercado del dólar estadounidense, la tasa de política monetaria argentina y las acciones líderes del índice S&P Merval. Metodológicamente se aplica el concepto de equivalente de certeza, modelando el comportamiento frente al riesgo de los agentes a partir de la función de utilidad con aversión al riesgo relativa constante (CRRA) y de la función de tres parámetros flexibles (FTP). Los resultados muestran que el coeficiente de aversión al riesgo implícito oscila entre 0.50 y 0.89 bajo el supuesto de CRRA, mientras que fluctúa entre 0.46 y 1.10 cuando se asume FTP. Las limitaciones del trabajo incluyen la extensión de la serie temporal y funciones de utilidad elegidas. Su originalidad radica en la metodología propuesta, los tipos de activos considerados, el uso comparativo de dos funciones de utilidad y su aplicación en un mercado emergente. Como principal conclusión, se identifica un comportamiento de aversión al riesgo con ambas funciones, que varía de moderada a muy elevada según cuál de ellas se emplea.

Functional Threshold Power (FTP) in cycling is increasingly used in exercise prescription, particularly with the rise in use of home trainers and virtual exercise platforms. FTP testing does not require biological sampling and is considered a more practical test than others. This scoping review investigated what is known about the 20-minute FTP (FTP20) test. A three-step search strategy was used to identify studies in relevant databases (PubMed, CINAHL, SportDiscus, Google Scholar, Web of Science) and grey literature. Data were extracted and common themes identified which allowed for descriptive analysis and thematic summary. Fifteen studies were included. The primary focus fitted broadly into four themes: reliability, association with other physiological markers, other power-related concepts and performance prediction. The FTP20 test was reported as a reliable test. Studies investigating the relationship of FTP20 with other physiological markers and power-related concepts reported large limits of agreement suggesting parameters cannot be used interchangeably. Some findings indicate that FTP20 may be useful in performance prediction. The majority of studies involved trained male cyclists. Overall, existing literature on the FTP20 test is limited. Further investigation is needed to provide physiological justification for FTP20 and inform use in exercise prescription in a range of populations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract Introduction Tau pathology, a hallmark of Alzheimer's disease, is observed in the brains of virtually all individuals over 70 years. Methods Using 18F‐AV‐1451 (18F‐flortaucipir) positron emission tomography, we evaluated tau pathology in 54 cognitively normal participants (mean age: 77.5 years, SD: 8.9) from the Baltimore Longitudinal Study of Aging. We assessed associations between positron emission tomography signal and age, sex, race, and amyloid positivity. We investigated relationships between regional signal and retrospective rates of change in regional volumes and cognitive function adjusting for age, sex, and amyloid status. Results Greater age, male sex, black race, and amyloid positivity were associated with higher 18F‐AV‐1451 retention in distinct brain regions. Retention in the entorhinal cortex was associated with lower entorhinal volume (β = −1.124, SE = 0.485, P = .025) and a steeper decline in memory performance (β = −0.086, SE = 0.039, P = .029). Discussion Assessment of medial temporal tau pathology will provide insights into early structural brain changes associated with later cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease.

Routing protocol is used to keep the stabilization of connection. Its connected with the performance was caused good communication when the communication from the source node to the destination node. The main factor of success in routing protocol techniques was quality of service to provide the difference level of service in arraging and giving the traffic service prority in the the network like constant bit rate (CBR) and file transfer protocol (FTP) using wireless network sensor network (WSN).This research will analyse the achivement quality of service in IEEE 802.15.4/Zigbee network used routing protocol techniques ad hoc on demand distance vector (AODV) single path and multipath based on distance and number of nodes simulated used Cygwin software. Based on the results of tests performed using the technique of routing protocol Ad Hoc On Demand Distance Vector single path and multipath for service traffic with constant bit rate and file transfer protocol, the result packet delivery ratio and goodput better on the distance between nodes 10m than the distance between node 15m to 25m, thus indicating that the goodput affect the traffic services are used. And the average delay results using the technique of multipath routing protocol AODV lower, thus indicating that the alternative pathway suppress buffer traffic delay on the service used.

Functional threshold power (FTP) has emerged as a correlate of lactate threshold and is commonly assessed by recreational and professional cyclists for tailored exercise programing. To identify whether results from traditional aerobic and anaerobic cycling tests could predict FTP and V̇O2max, we analyzed the association between estimated FTP, maximum oxygen uptake (V̇O2max [ml·kg-1·min-1]) and power outputs obtained from a maximal cycle ergometry cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET), and a 30-second Wingate test in a heterogeneous cohort of cycle-trained and untrained individuals (N = 40, mean ± SD; age: 32.6 ± 10.6 years; relative V̇O2max: 46.8 ± 9.1 ml·kg·-1min-1). The accuracy and sensitivity of the prediction equations were also assessed in young men (N = 11) before and after a 6-week sprint interval training intervention. Moderate-to-strong positive correlations were observed between FTP, relative V̇O2max, and power outputs achieved during incremental and 30-second Wingate cycling tests (r = 0.39-0.965, all p ≤ .05). Whilst maximum power achieved during incremental cycle testing (Pmax) and relative V̇O2max were predictors of FTP (r² = 0.93), age and FTP (W·kg-1) estimated relative V̇O2max (r² = 0.80). Our findings confirm that FTP predominantly relies on aerobic metabolism and indicate that both prediction models are sensitive enough to detect meaningful exercise-induced changes in FTP and V̇O2max. Thus, coaches should consider limiting the time and load demands placed on athletes by conducting a maximal cycle ergometry CPET to estimate FTP. Abstract Introduction Amyloid‐related imaging abnormalities (ARIA) are a common, dose‐dependent effect of amyloid‐targeting antibodies, strongly associated with the apolipoprotein E (APOE) ε4 allele. Methods We describe the clinical course and management of a 66‐year‐old white male (APOE ε4/ε4) enrolled in an observational study that included amyloid and tau positron emission tomography (PET), who received aducanumab through the ENGAGE clinical trial. Results Acute symptoms included headache and encephalopathy, and magnetic resonance imaging revealed ARIA‐E and ARIA‐H. Malignant hypertension and epileptiform activity were treated with nicardipine and levetiracetam. Subsequent clinical/imaging worsening prompted a course of methylprednisolone. Symptoms and ARIA‐E resolved over 6 months, while ARIA‐H persisted. Quantitative analysis of interval amyloid PET showed reduced signal in pre‐existing areas but increased signal posteriorly; while tau PET showed increased signal overall. Discussion In an APOE ε4/ε4 patient, ARIA symptoms were accompanied by malignant hypertension and epileptiform activity, and pulsed steroids reversed edema. Studies from larger cohorts may clarify the optimal treatment and pathophysiology of ARIA.

LAN Chat Messenger using TCP/IP offers reliability, security and zero cost communication among staff members of a company. As well, this study offers file transfer. It helps to solve the communication problems that related to time and cost. The proposed protocol facilitates information exchange among individuals by providing many communication options. It is a standalone application using JAVA as the programming language and tested at LANs of our institute (college's Labs networks).

Goal: to develop and evaluate the efficiency of the tactics for peri-operative nutritional-metabolic therapy as a component of Fast Track programme (FTP) in elderly patients suffering from colon cancer and having planned surgery. Methods. Treatment outcomes were analyzed for 400 elderly patients with colon cancer divided into two groups: main group (prospective n = 170), who were treated complying with optimized FTP and nutritional-metabolic therapy and control group (retrospective, n = 230), who were managed in the traditional way. Peri-operative nutritional-metabolic therapy in the main group included detection of those initially suffering from protein-calorie deficiency basing on changes in body mass loss and body weight index, and provision of integral nutritional support for them. During pre-operative preparation period lasting from 10 to 14 days they were prescribed with residue-free diet additionally to which, depending on the volume of food consumed by sipping, they received liquid nutritional mixture (Impact® Oral, Nestle) with high protein (7.6 g per 100 ml) and calories (1.4 kcal in ml) content. Post-operative nutritional support included early (from the 1st day after the surgery) enteral feeding with use of standard multisubstrate nutritional mixtures with protein content of 40g/l (Isosource® Standard, Nestle) in order to prevent paresis of gastro-intestinal tract combined with early activation of patients. Results. Patients in the main group confidently earlier restored the protein pool and immune status, nasogastric tube was removed faster, the duration of stay in the intensive care department and hospital after the surgery was less, the severity of complications as per Clavien – Dindo classification was lower, and life quality and late treatment outcomes were better. Conclusions. Use of the offered tactics of peri-operative nutritional-metabolic therapy as a component of FTP allowed speeding up rehabilitation and enhancing surgical and oncological outcomes in the burdened elderly patients having planned surgery due to colon cancer.

Endurance profile assessment is of major interest to evaluate the cyclist’s performance potential. In this regard, maximal oxygen uptake and functional threshold power are useful functional parameters to determine metabolic training zones (ventilatory threshold). The aim of this study was to evaluate and compare the physiological profile of different road cyclist age categories (Youth, Junior, and Under-23) to obtain the performance requirements. Sixty-one competitive road cyclists (15–22 years) performed a maximal incremental test on a bike in order to determine functional parameters (maximal fat oxidation zone, ventilatory thresholds, maximal oxygen uptake, and functional threshold power) and metabolic training zones. The results suggest major differences, with the Youth group showing clear changes in all metabolic zones except in fat oxidation. The main differences between Under-23 vs. Junior groups were observed in maximal relative power output (Under-23: 6.70 W·Kg−1; Junior: 6.17 W·Kg−1) and relative functional threshold power (Under-23: 4.91 W·Kg−1; Junior: 4.48 W·Kg−1). The Youth group physiological profile is clearly different to the other age categories. Some parameters normalized to body weight (maximal oxygen consumption, load and functional threshold power) could be interesting to predict a sporting career during the Junior and Under-23 stages.

Portable emission measurement systems (PEMS) [1] are used by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to measure gaseous and particulate matter mass emissions from vehicles in normal, in-use, on-the-road, and "real-world" operations to support many of its programs. These programs include vehicle modeling, emissions compliance, regulatory development, emissions inventory development, and investigations of the effects of real, in-use driving conditions on NOx, CO2, and other regulated pollutants. This article discusses EPA's analytical methodology for evaluating light-duty vehicle energy and EU Real Driving Emissions (RDE). A simple, data-driven model was developed and validated using measured PEMS emissions test data. The work also included application of the EU RDE proce- dures and comparison to the PEMS test methodologies and FTP and other chassis dynamometer test data used by EPA for characterizing in-use light- and heavy-duty vehicle emissions. This work was conducted as part of EPA's participation in the development of UNECE Global Technical Regulations and also supports EPA mobile source emission inventory development. This article discusses the real-world emissions of light-duty vehicles with 12V Start-Stop technology and light-duty vehicles using both gasoline and diesel fuels. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This research developed a novel algorithm to evaluate internet-based services such as VoIP, Video Conferencing, HTTP and FTP, of different IEEE 802.11 technologies in order to identify the optimum network architecture among Basic Service Set (BSS), Extended Service Set (ESS) and the Independent Basic Service Set (IBSS). The proposed algorithm will yield the rank order of different IEEE 802.11 technologies. By selecting the optimum network architecture and technology, the best overall network performance that provides good voice, video and data quality is guaranteed. Furthermore, it meets the acceptance threshold values for the VoIP, Video Conferencing, HTTP and FTP quality metrics. This algorithm was applied to various room sizes ranging from 2 × 3 m to 1 0 × 1 4 m and the number of nodes ranged from 1 to 65. The research discusses the proposed device by which routing is automated, which is named as Port Dependent Decision Device (P3D). This device communicates with the destination node before the packets are sent. This is done in order to avoid packet loss in a huge network. This paper discusses the implementation details of the proposed Multifarious Sym Teredo (MST) tunneling in a router linked with port dependent decision device (P3D). The manuscript presents the algorithm used by the P3D. The various network services such as FTP, TFTP, TELNET, HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP, RTP, VOD, SNMP, SMPT, VoIP and SSH are discussed in this chapter. In addition, the implementation of automated routing towards MST by virtue of P3D on best performance in IPv4/IPv6 is discussed. Teknologi Wireless Network sudah lama ditemukan dan seiring waktu juga mengalami perkembangan, Namun sifat teknologi ini menggantungkan diri pada infrastruktur jaringan yang ada. Hal ini bias menjadi kelemahan tersendiri saat kondisi infrastruktur jaringan sedang mengalami gangguan, karena setiap komunikasi yang melewati infrastruktur jaringan tersebut tidak akan sampai pada tujuan. Teknologi jaringan Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) diciptakan sebagai antisipasi jika infrastruktur jaringan sedang mengalami gangguan. Dengan jaringan MANET sistem komunikasi yang dilakukan tidak membutuhkan infrastruktur jaringan karena tiap node pada jaringan tersebut bersifat mobile. Untuk menguji kemampuan MANET, pada penelitian ini akan menerapkan File Transfer Protocol (FTP) sebagai media untuk melakukan komunikasi data file transfer yang diimplementasi pada jaringan MANET. Dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil bahwa File Transfer dapat berfungsi dengan baik saat diterapkan pada jaringan MANET.

The main aspects of the evaluation of projects for the grant of Federal Target Program «Researches and developments in priority directions of scientific and technological complex of Russia for 2014-2020» is discussed. This subject is very relevant, because the efficiency of scientific and technical expertise is a guarantee of the eff ectiveness of innovative projects management. This is particularly important for the projects, which have significant practical orientation and being competitive in the international scientific and technical level.The purpose of this article is a justification of importance of improvement of technologies of information support of experts. These technologies allow to draw the attention of the expert to a number of discrepancies in the documentation, to quickly process the large volume of information at various scientometric databases, to reduce the manhours of the expert per project and to increase efficiency of scientific and technical expertise.Advantages and disadvantages of the use of machine analysis of keyword and semantic analysis of documents during the scientific and technical expertise have been described. The criteria for peer review as a quality research project; qualifications, work experience, academic achievements of the project implementing team and instrument base; the potential Bidder; financial support of the project. Various criteria for analysis of the project (quality of the research project, qualifications, work experience, academic achievements of the project implementing team and their instrument base, the potential and the project financial support) are considered.Conclusions. First, use of modern information technology in scientific and technical expertise allows to expand the information field and an expert to carry out a deeper analysis of projects. Secondly, the stocktaking of the advantages and disadvantages of using machine analysis for keywords and semantic analysis of the documents can improve the quality of expert opinions and improve the scientific culture of the professional activities of an expert in general.

One of the most challenging practical aspects of providing end-to-end network security for legacy client-server protocols such as non-anonymous FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is convincing end users to actually use the secure alternatives, rather than abandoning them in favor of simpler, more familiar, or more fully featured insecure clients. A number of secure alternatives to the FTP protocol have been developed, but thus far have met with only limited success -- we feel this is primarily due to the fact that these solutions almost universally require the end user to learn a new, unfamiliar client interface or tweak complicated settings in order to make the security work. The average end user is interested in maintaining the security of their account, but is unwilling to invest a significant effort to setup a complicated system or the time to learn a whole new interface.SafeTP is a unique new FTP security system that strikes at the heart of this problem by providing completely transparent FTP security for users of Microsoft Windows. SafeTP operates by installing a transparent proxy in the Windows networking stack which detects outgoing FTP connections from any legacy (insecure) Windows FTP client, and silently secures them using modern cryptographic techniques (the server must also support SafeTP in order for a secure connection to be successfully established). SafeTP is 100% compatible with existing (insecure) FTP servers, and will operate in an insecure mode if the server does not yet support the SafeTP protocol. One key feature of the SafeTP client proxy is that it was designed to be completely transparent to the client FTP application. This way, users can reap the benefits of FTP security, while continuing to use their existing FTP software.Since its recent release on the internet, SafeTP has become extremely popular and is rapidly gaining acceptance in a diverse user community that includes numerous corporations, educational institutions and private users. In this paper, we describe the design of SafeTP and our experiences in implementing and maintaining this successful system. We discuss various challenges encountered in designing a fully transparent and interoperable security layer, and the solutions we implemented. We also describe various aspects of the hybrid public-key and shared-key cryptosystem used to provide confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity for FTP sessions.
