The three-layer W–Cu graded composites were prepared by powders mixing and spark plasma sintering, using W and Cu powders in different proportions as the raw materials. The microstructure, interface characteristics, physical properties, mechanical properties, and thermal shock resistance of the W–Cu graded composites at different sintering temperatures were investigated. The results show that, the W–Cu graded composites sintered at 900 ℃ have the high relative density (95%) and retain the original design composition of single layer. The distribution of W and Cu in each graded layer is uniform, and the interface between W and Cu is well combined without diffusion. The mechanical properties of the W–Cu graded composites show the gradient distribution, and the microhardness of the W–40Cu layer is up to HV 136. The fracture is firstly present at the W–40Cu layer in the compression process, and the highest compressive yield strength is 378 MPa. The thermal conductivity of the W–Cu graded composite sintered at 900 ℃ is 202 W·m−1·K−1. After the thermal shock resistance test, the W–Cu gradient composites show the good thermal shock resistance performance without no crack at the interface.

Pelvic exenteration is often required for primary rectal cancer beyond total mesorectal excision (PRC-bTME) and locally recurrent rectal cancer (LRRC). Some patients with radical resection can achieve long-term survival, but they need to face risks, such as huge surgical trauma, serious perioperative complications, permanent loss of organ function and decline in quality of life. Preoperative evaluation of PRC-bTME and LRRC should emphasize multidisciplinary collaboration and develop individualized diagnosis and treatment strategies. The principles of function preservation and risk-benefit balance in surgery oncology should be followed, and R0 resection should be emphasized. Perioperative complications, surgical trauma and organ function loss should be minimized to achieve the best quality control and balance point. This consensus was formulated by the Colorectal Cancer Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the Gastrointestinal Surgery Committee of China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care. The draft was formed based on the summary of domestic and foreign research progress and expert experience. After discussion, review and modification by experts, an anonymous voting was conducted for each major opinion, and in-depth verification was carried out according to the principles of evidence-based medicine. Finally, the Chinese expert consensus on the pelvic exenteration with primary rectal cancer beyond total mesorectal excision planes and locally recurrent rectal cancer (2023 edition) was formed. This consensus mainly summarizes the indications and contraindications of pelvic exenteration (PE) for PRC-bTME and LRRC, preoperative diagnosis and evaluation, perioperative treatment, as well as the resection scope, surgical methods, reconstruction of related organs, safety and complications of PE, postoperative follow-up and other issues, in order to provide guidance for PE in patients with PRC-bTME and LRRC.

This paper first defines the conceptual scope of intellectual property, and the intellectual property evaluation system analyzes the special characteristics of enterprise intellectual property evaluation and compares the differences between several intellectual property management models. Secondly, an open adaptive enterprise IPR evaluation system is constructed based on a linear regression model, and the system structure and the relationship between subsystems are analyzed in depth. Finally, based on the theory of adaptive evaluation management, the adaptive IPR evaluation system is constructed. The adaptive enterprise IPR evaluation model based on linear regression was constructed mainly from three dimensions, and the method to determine the development coordination index and early warning degree of the three dimensions was deduced. The results show that the average efficiency of the typical enterprise IPR evaluation system calculated based on the linear regression model is 0.86, which is 21.3% more efficient than the traditional model. Four of the decision units’ DEA is effective, 63% of the inputs are effective, and 37% of the input resources are wasted, which aligns with the actual enterprise. The adaptive IPR evaluation system based on the linear regression model proposed in this paper has theoretical innovation value and practical significance for enterprises to realize the transformation of IPR achievements.

This paper first analyzes the peak compensation process of electric power units in electric power enterprises, studies the carbon emission model of unit operation and the cost calculation method, then constructs an optimized dispatch model of deep peak compensation in electric power enterprises based on the factors of peaking subject and object and multiple types of adjustable resources, determines the critical peaking rate, and calculates the coefficient of the unit’s peaking capacity and the coefficient of the system’s peaking demand. Finally, based on the model, single-day and multi-day data from the regional power grid were analyzed, and the energy losses of the system units in summer and spring were compared before and after optimization. The results show that the average load factor of coal power units after the optimal dispatch of regional grid peak compensation is increased from 62%-68% before optimization to more than 91%, and the overall energy consumption of the system is reduced by 30.95% in the summer and 39.93% in the spring, which is of theoretical and practical significance for alleviating the scheduling pressure on the grid and the control problems of the power units.

As the main load-bearing component of the bridge structure, the cable is damaged by the impact from time to time, so it is very important to clarify its impact resistance capacity. Based on the method of the drop-weight test, this article mainly studies the degradation law of the mechanical properties of epoxy-coated steel strand (ECSS) under the impact load. Through the impact test of ECSS under different working conditions, the influence law of prestress, impact energy, initial defects and other factors on the impact resistance of the steel strand was revealed. Then, the difference of the impact resistance of ECSS and ordinary steel strand (OSS) was verified under the same impact conditions. Finally, the failure mechanism and the residual-bearing capacity of ECSS were analyzed through the secondary impact test. The results show that the initial prestress is helpful to improve its impact resistance when it is less than 0.11fu{f}_{{\rm{u}}}, and exceeding this value will accelerate its failure process. The effect of impact height on the strain at the impact point of ECSS is significantly greater than that near the anchor end. ECSS has better energy absorption characteristics than OSS. The impact resistance of ECSS with initial defects is very sensitive to the impact energy. The influence on outer strand in the secondary impact is significantly higher than the central strand, and its residual tensile capacity still has 0.85fu{f}_{{\rm{u}}}.

The continuous increase in communication capacity is accompanied by an increase in transmission frequency, which creates new demands on the transmission efficiency in modern. Signal relay transmission can increase the transmission distance, however, conventional repeaters relay the signal in a specified direction, which is difficult to accommodate communication when a receiving device suddenly appears around the repeater. In this work, we propose a new signal transmission repeater, which is implemented by an adaptively reconfigurable multi-beam reflective metasurface based on multispectral detection. The reconfigurable metasurface with varactor diodes is designed and the mapping of phase profiles to voltages is established by polynomial fitting method. Visual, laser, infrared and ultrasonic detectors are used to detect targets in different scenarios. Thus, the detection information is fed back to the reconfigurable metasurface for adaptively multi-beam switching. As verification, the adaptive metasurface repeater was fabricated and measured to verify our design. All the results exhibit consistency with theoretical design. Importantly, this work paves a new way to intelligent metasurfaces and may find applications in intelligent communications, smart home, etc.

Based on the implementing grain security projects and instituting other relevant grain security policies, China has promoted the process of digitalization and intelligence of grain storage and built the world's largest grain Internet of Things, since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. But, the resulting large amount of grain data, mainly based on temperature, can not effectively support decision-making and management on grain storage. Based on the study of the multi-field coupling theory of grain pile ecosystem, our research team further extracted the continuity principle, periodicity principle, and coordination principle of digital supervision of grain reserves, and proposed a series of intelligent strategies such as AID, ABC, 6R, SIN, CAE, O, and U. However, the application of these strategies directly faces the original data, which has some problems such as low efficiency and large error. To apply the intelligent strategies efficiently and correctly, the basic data manual of intelligent analysis of grain condition has been developed, according to the original grain condition data of typical granaries and main grain varieties in different grain storage ecological regions in China. The development of this manual is expected to consolidate the foundation of intelligent analysis of grain situation, which could promote the digital monitoring of grain storage quantity and quality, and realize the transformation from "manual defense" to “technical defense”.

The grain storage process could be affected by many aspects such as biological field and non biological field, which will lead to the phenomenon of heating, mildew, dewing and pest damage in the grain storage process. It is urgent to develop convenient, fast, multi-functional and high-precision on-site detection tools. According to the requirements of actual grain storage management, the multi-functional grain storage safety on-site rapid detection analyzer could calculate the stored grain moisture, water activity, absolute humidity, accumulated temperature, accumulated humidity, J/Q value and absolute water potential with models and algorithms on the basis of multi-point high-precision detection of temperature, humidity and CO2 concentration, and could graphically expresse the calculated results to assist in the determination of stored grain conditions such as safety, condensation, heat, mildew, etc, which will have mechanical ventilation operation parameter selection and intelligent control. The preliminary application of the instrument shows that it can provide effective technical support for granary management and has a good application prospect.

Magnesium-based composites are promising materials that can achieve higher strength, modulus, stiffness, and wear resistance by using metals, ceramics, and nanoscale carbon-based materials as reinforcements. In the last few decades, high-performance magnesium-based composites with excellent interfacial bonding and uniformly distributed reinforcements have been successfully synthesized using different techniques. The yield strength, Young’s modulus, and elongation of SiC nanoparticle-reinforced Mg composites reached ∼710 MPa, ∼86 GPa, and ∼50%, respectively, which are the highest reported values for Mg-based composites. The present work summarizes the commonly used reinforcements of magnesium composites, particularly nano-reinforcements. The fabrication processes, mechanical properties, reinforcement dispersion, strengthening mechanisms, and interface optimization of these composites are introduced, and the factors affecting these properties are explained. Finally, the scope of future research in this field is discussed.

Abstract Lysine 2-hydroxyisobutyrylation (Khib) is a novel naturally occurring post-translational modification. The system Khib identification at proteomics level has been performed in various species and tissues to characterize the role of Khib in biological activities. However, the study of Khib in plant species is relatively less. In the present study, the first plant root tissues lysine 2-hydroxyisobutyrylome analysis was performed in wheat with antibody immunoprecipitation affinity, high resolution mass spectrometry-based proteomics and bioinformatics analysis. In total, 6328 Khib sites in 2186 proteins were repeatedly identified in three replicates. These Khib proteins showed a wide subcellular location distribution. Function and pathways characterization of these Khib proteins indicated that many cellular functions and metabolism pathways were potentially affected by this modification. Protein and amino acid metabolism related process may be regulated by Khib, especially ribosome activities and proteins biosynthesis process. Carbohydrate metabolism and energy production related processes including glycolysis/gluconeogenesis, TCA cycle and oxidative phosphorylation pathways were also affected by Khib modification. Besides, root sulfur assimilation and transformation related enzymes exhibited Khib modification. Our work illustrated the potential regulation role of Khib in wheat root physiology and biology, which could be used as a useful reference for Khib study in plant root.

BACKGROUND Mixed acid open acid dissolution and alkali fusion methods are the two main dissolution methods for determination of rare earth and refractory elements in geological samples by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). However, the composition of geological samples is complex. For special elements and special samples, the traditional acid-dissolving method will cause incomplete digestion of some elements, which makes the measurement results inaccurate. The operation process of the alkali fusion method is cumbersome. The solution has high salinity, which can easily cause matrix interference and block the sample introduction system. OBJECTIVES To improve the traditional four-acid and penta-acid systems in the determination of rare earth elements. METHODS The hydrofluoric acid-nitric acid-sulfuric acid open acid solution system was used to determine the 15 rare earth elements by using the national standard material to prepare a standard curve. At the same time, the lithium metaborate alkali fusion method was improved. The sample was extracted with lithium metaborate alkali, and the solution was added to the alkaline condition by adding sodium hydroxide. The measured element was coprecipitated with lithium metaborate, and the flux was separated and filtered, and then reconstituted with nitric acid. Nineteen elements such as rare earth and lanthanum zirconium were measured. RESULTS The relative deviations between the measured value and the certified value of the two dissolution methods were 1.09%-9.30%. The results of determination of Nb, Ta, Zr and Hf by mixed acid open dissolution method and rare earth element by lithium metaborate alkali fusion method were compared with those of another laboratory that used closed acid dissolution methods. The relative deviations between the two groups were 0.13%-15.32%. CONCLUSIONS The mixed acid open dissolution method is suitable for the determination of rare earth elements in geological samples, whereas the lithium metaborate alkali fusion method is not only suitable for the determination of rare earth elements and Nb, Ta, Zr and Hf in geological samples, but also for the determination of Nb, Ta, Zr and Hf in ancient high pressure metamorphic rock samples and the sample with a high Al content.

TiO2 nanotubes arrays with dominant (001) facets were fabricated by multi-anodic oxidation technology. The influence factor of the electrolyte composition on the ratio of different facets for anatase TiO2 and the bioactivity were investigated. Besides, the characterization of the surface morphologies and crystal structures were analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD),etc. Finally, the bioactivity was estimated by the CaP salt deposition vis biomin-eralization process and protein adsorption experiment. The results show that the relative proportions of different facets in the TiO2 nanotubes can be adjusted by changing the content of H2O in the electrolyte. The (004) facet texture coefficient of TiO2 nanotubes arrays prepared in 2% H2O(volume fraction) electrolyte reaches up to 4.76. The TiO2 nanotubes with dominant (001) facets can accelerate the deposition of hydroxyapatite and raise the amount of protein adsorption in the humanoid environment by providing more active sites for biomineralization and protein adsorption. The TiO2 nanotubes with a higher proportion of (001) facets have the more excellent biological activity.

Guar gum is an effective depressant of talc, but it also has some depression effect on sulfide minerals. To find new selective depressants, the depression effects and mechanisms of tragacanth gum to talc were studied and its role in the flotation separation of chalcopyrite from talc was investigated by flotation test, adsorption and zeta potential tests as well as XPS analysis. The individual mineral flotation test results showed that the natural flotability of talc is good which make it easy to be reported into the concentrate. The guar gum and tragacanth gum can effectively depress the flotation of talc, and their depression effect is not affected by pH. The mixed minerals flotation tests indicated that the tragacanth gum can effectively separate chalcopyrite from talc, both the copper concentrate grade and recovery are high, besides, tragacanth gum exhibits less depression effects for chalcopyrite compared with guar gum. According to the Zeta potential and XPS measurements, it can be concluded that tragacanth gum adsorbed on talc surface mainly through physical interactions, and hydrophobic interaction was considered as the main driving force and hydrogen bond may also play a role. Maleic anhydride was used to functionalize the graphene oxide (GO). The prepared functionalized GO was used to modify the bismaleimide (BMI) resin and the carbon fiber/BMI composites. The structure and properties of the composites were characterized. The results indicate that the maleic anhydride molecules are successfully grafted onto the GO surfaces. Due to the introduction of functionalized GO, the tensile strength, elastic modulus, blending strength, impact strength and glass transition temperature of the BMI resin were substantially improved. The impact fracture morphologies show that brittle fracture is transformed into ductile fracture after modification; moreover, the interfacial adhesions of carbon fiber/BMI composites were also enhanced obviously. The ILSS of composites increased from 84.0MPa to 104.6MPa after modification.

High-water-content materials are a new type of inorganic cementitious material. They have been widely used in the mining of underground mined-out areas in recent years. However, the higher filling cost has always been the key limiting factor in their further development and application. Meanwhile, large volumes of industrial waste, such as fly ash, has become a serious environmental problem as well as a wasted resource, at a time when the rational repurposing of industrial waste is of great significance to the developed world. To solve the problems of the high cost of mine-filling material, the wasting of a useful resource, and the environmental pollution caused by large surpluses of industrial waste like fly ash, the physical and mechanical properties, microstructure, and chemical components of high-water-content materials of varying fly ash content were studied. An engineering test model (ETM) mechanics test system, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) scanning device, X-ray diffraction (XRD) diffraction analyzer, and a fly ash modification mechanism were discussed based on the microscopic and phase analysis results. The test results show that:(1) with increasing fly ash content, the setting time of high-water-content materials gradually increases, water content decreases, and bulk remained relatively unchangs; (2) high-water-content materials, with or without fly ash, are elastoplastic materials, and their deformation and failure progress could be divided into pore compaction stage, elastic stage, yield stage, and failure stage; (3) the peak strength, elastic modulus, and deformation modulus of high-water-content materials are reduced with increasing fly ash content, although residual strength is improved; and (4) the most reasonable dosage of fly ash is 15% when strength, modulus and cost are considered. Peak intensity, elastic modulus, and deformation modulus of high-water-content material are reduced by only 25%, 8.6% and 10% at this fly ash dosage, respectively, and the residual strength increased by 50%. Phase and morphology analyses show that the amount of fly ash affects the hydration progress of β-C2S, resulting in reduction of ettringite and an increase in other hydration products. Thus, the homogeneity and integrity of the structure of ettringite are destroyed at different levels, leading, eventually, to a reduction in the compressive strength of high-water-content materials.

Single administration of low-dose ketamine has both acute and sustained anti-depressant effects. Sustained effect is associated with restoration of glutamatergic synapses in medial prefrontal cortic (mFPC) neurons. Ketamine induced profound changes in a number of molecular pathways in a mouse model for chronic stress. Cell-cell communication analyses predicted that planar-cell-polarity (PCP) signaling was decreased after chronic administration of corticosterone but increased following ketamine administration in most of the excitatory neurons. Similar decrease of PCP signaling in excitatory neurons was predicted in dorsolateral prefrontal cortical (dl-PFC) neurons of patients with major depressive disorder (MDD). We showed that the basolateral amygdala (BLA)-projecting infralimbic prefrontal cortex (IL PFC) neurons regulate immobility time in the tail suspension test and food consumption. Conditionally knocking out Celsr2 and Celsr3 or Prickle2 in the BLA-projecting IL PFC neurons abolished ketamine-induced synapse restoration and behavioral remission. Therefore, PCP proteins in IL PFC-BLA neurons mediate synapse restoration induced by of low-dose ketamine.

Hot dry rock is regarded as the clean energy of the future and is an important part of geothermal resources, with great research value and development prospects. The Weishan volcano, located in the northern part of the Wudalianchi volcanic group, was formed in the Pleistocene, and its age is only (0.57–0.31) ± 0.05 Ma. This area has a geothermal setting similar to but a younger age than that of the Fenton Hill volcano (formed 1.40–1.10 Ma) where a hot dry rock power project has operated since 1973. In this study, we used ambient noise tomography and magnetotelluric sounding methods to investigate deep heat sources beneath the Weishan volcano. The results show good geothermal conditions for hot dry rock formation in this region. A cooling magma chamber that might be the hot dry rock heat source is indicated in the upper crust at 6.5–13 km depth, with a volume of ∼200 km 3 . Our study suggests that the monzonitic granites of the Indosinian Xiaohongshan unit, which lies beneath the Late Cretaceous Nenjiang Formation and the Neoproterozoic-Early Cambrian Beikuanhe Formation, should be the main target for further hot dry rock geothermal energy exploration and development.
