The 62 Cu nucleus has been studied via the reactions 60 Ni(α, pny), 63 Cu(p, pnγ), 52 Cr( 14 N, 2p2nγ) using different in-beam γ-spectroscopy techniques. The intensity of principal γ-lines observed in different reactions leading to the 62 Cu has been compared. A brief discussion is made in terms of the independent particle model. A level scheme including levels with spin up to 9 + is proposed.
