Blood and fecal samples of chukar partridge (Alectoris chukar), albino pheasant (Phasianus colchicus), silver pheasant (Lophura nycthemera), rose-ringed parakeet (Psittacula krameri) and turkeys (Meleagris gallopavo) were analyzed to check parasitic prevalence. To record parasites these five avian species were placed kept in separate cages at Avian Conservation and Research Center, Department of Wildlife an Ecology, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. 100 fecal and 100 blood samples for each bird species were inspected to analyze internal parasites. During present study, 17 species of endoparasites 14 from fecal samples and three from blood were examined. Two species of ectoparasites i.e. mite Dermanyssus gallinae 42% and fowl ticks Args persicus 41%were studied. Blood parasites included Plasmodium juxtanucleare 50%, Leucoctoyzoon simond having parasitic prevalence 40%, and Aegyptinella pullorum having parasitic prevalence of 40%. Parasitic species recorded from fecal samples included 6 species of nematodes viz. Allodpa suctoria 2%. Syngamus trachea with parasitic prevalence of 60%, Capillaria annulata 37.5%, Ascardia galli 24%, Capillaria anatis 40% and Heterakis gallinarum 28.3%. Similarly, two species of trematodes viz. Prosthogonimus ovatus having parasitic prevalence of 50% and Prosthogonimus macrorchis 21% were also documented from fecal avian samples . Single cestode species Raillietina echinobothrida having parasitic prevalence of 72% and 3 protozoan species i.e. Eimeria maxima having parasitic prevalence of 21%, Giardia lamblia 41% and Histomonas meleagridis 18% were documented during corpological analysis. In our recommendation, proper sanitation, medication and vaccination of bird’s enclousres are suggested to avoid parasites. RESUMO Amostras de sangue e fezes de perdiz chukar (Alectoris chukar), faisão-albino (Phasianus colchicus), faisão-prateado (Lophura nycthemera), periquito-de-rosa (Psittacula krameri) e perus (Meleagris gallopavo) foram analisadas para verificar a prevalência de parasitas. Para registrar os parasitas, essas cinco espécies de aves foram colocadas em gaiolas separadas no Centro de Conservação e Pesquisa de Aves, Departamento de Vida Selvagem e Ecologia, Universidade de Veterinária e Ciências Animais, Lahore, Paquistão. Cem amostras fecais e 100 amostras de sangue para cada espécie de ave foram inspecionadas para analisar os parasitas internos. Durante o presente estudo, foram examinadas 17 espécies de endoparasitas, 14 de amostras fecais e 3 de sangue. Foram estudadas duas espécies de ectoparasitas, ou seja, o ácaro Dermanyssus gallinae 42% e o carrapato aviário Args persicus 41%. Os parasitas sanguíneos incluíram Plasmodium juxtanucleare 50%, Leucoctoyzoon simond com prevalência parasitária de 40% e Aegyptinella pullorum com prevalência parasitária de 40%. As espécies parasitas registradas em amostras fecais incluíram 6 espécies de nematoides viz. Allodpa suctoria 2%, Syngamus traqueia com prevalência parasitária de 60%, Capillaria annulata 37,5%, Ascardia galli 24%, Capillaria anatis 40% e Heterakis gallinarum 28,3%. Da mesma forma, duas espécies de trematódeos viz. Prosthogonimus ovatus com prevalência parasitária de 50% e Prosthogonimus macrorchis 21% também foram documentados em amostras fecais de aves. Espécies de cestoide único Raillietina echinobothrida com prevalência parasitária de 72% e 3 espécies de protozoários, isto é, Eimeria maxima com prevalência parasitária de 21%, Giardia lamblia 41% e Histomonas meleagridis 18% foram documentadas durante a análise corpológica. Em nossa recomendação, o saneamento adequado, medicação e vacinação de invólucros de pássaros são sugeridos para evitar parasitas.

This study aims to explore 'historical literary archives related to local culture' of Indonesia so that certain knowledge about cross-cultural activities, attitude structures, and cultural references that have influenced historical culture can be used as cultural references that are valued as the values of today's society. One of the old texts that contains various cross-cultural events in the past in South Sulawesi is the 22nd Diary of the King of Bone, namely La Tommassongek To appawelling Matinroe in Mallimongan. The works which are classified as historical literature contain experiences, expressions, and cross-cultural understandings of their time. The object of research is the Diary of the King of Bone in the 17th Century AD. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a cross-cultural psychological approach. The results of the research show that cross-cultural representation in the form of strong individualism-collective values. This is based on four aspects of indicators, namely: a) Harmony in socializing is represented in the relationship between the King of Bone and other powerful kings, as well as foreigners such as the Dutch (Tomarajae); b) Cooperate in social groups that are represented in the culture of building houses, irrigation facilities, places of worship, and cultural celebrations, and; c) Self-control in relation to social groups is represented in an attitude of mutual assistance and protection in defending oneself, family and country; d) Give recognition or appreciation that is represented by mappacella and massolo culture

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : Mengetahui strategi Komunikasi Dinas Pariwisata dalam Meningkatkan Kunjungan dan untuk menganalisis Potensi Wisata yang ada di Pulau Karampuang. Kepariwisataan sudah sangat lazim dalam kehidupan masyarakat. dan sudah hampir menjadi salah satu kebutuhan dan gaya hidup masyarakat. Wisata tidak lagi dipandang sebagai suatu yang menjadi milik kelompok masyarakat yang mapan saja, tetapi juga bagi semua kalangan masyarakat. Seperti yang akan dipaparkan oleh penulis, yaitu Pulau Karampuang yang menjadi salah satu Obyek Pariwisata Bahari yang paling diminati di Kabupaten Mamuju. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Unit analisis mengunakan teknik analisis data yang bersifat kualitatif, artinya data diperoleh dari dokumen berupa jawaban atau keterangan bukan berupa angka-angka. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data primer dan data sekunder. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. dengan menggunakanteknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara kepada informan yang dianggap berpotensi untuk memberikan informasi tentang bagaimana Efektivitas Program Penataan dan Pengelolaan Obyek Wisata di Kabupaten Mamuju. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi dinas pariwisata dalam meningkatkan kunjungan adalah dengan melakukan promosi digital melalui website dan sosial media seperti facebook dan instagram,. dan potensi wisata yang ada di Pulau Karapuang diantaranya adalah terdapat sumur tiga rasa, wisata religi makam keramat, sumur kapal, dan yang paling dikenal adalah wisata baharinya.

Twenty-seven advanced lines including three exiting varieties (BARI Gom 21, BARI Gom 32 and BARI Gom 33) were evaluated in alpha lattice design with two replications at Bangladesh Wheat and Maize Research Institute, Dinajpur and regional stations at Joydebpur, Jashore and Rajshahi under irrigated timely sown (ITS) and irrigated late sawn (ILS) conditions. The objective of the study was to find out the heat-tolerant wheat lines for future breeding programme to develop heat-tolerant wheat varieties. The genotypes were evaluated for phenological variation such as heading and maturity, yield and yield components, disease reaction, sterility, visual grain quality, etc. The results showed that the highest grain yield (5951 kg ha-1) was recorded with genotype BAW 1415 at Dinajpur under ITS condition and the lowest grain yield (1923 kg ha-1) was observed in BAW 1416 at Rajshahi under ILS condition. Considering the overall performances, genotypes BAW 1402, BAW 1403, BAW 1406, BAW 1407, BAW 1408, BAW 1411, BAW 1422 and BAW 1425 performed better. Considering disease infestation, genotypes BAW 1374, BAW 1393, BAW 1394, BAW 1397, BAW 1399 and BAW 1401 showed a good level of resistance to both leaf rust (LR) and wheat blast (WB). Kegiatan ini bertujuan sebagai penguatan pendidikan karakter dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai kesabaran, kebaikan, dan kesederhanaan pada siswa melalui lagu daerah Bugis Ininnawa Sabbarae. Penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui lagu daerah Bugis diduga relevan dengan fenomena kehidupan hyper reality saat ini. Ininnawa sabbarae adalah lagu daerah Bugis sebagai warisan budaya lokal yang biasanya dinyanyikan oleh para orang tua untuk penanaman karakter pada anak-anaknya. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu pelatihan dan pengenalan lagu daerah Bugis dengan melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan evaluasi. Target kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah guru dan siswa dengan melibatkan siswa sebanyak 20 orang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan tentang presentasi kenaikan pengetahuan siswa tentang karakter yang terdapat dalam lagu daerah Bugis Ininnaawa Sabbarae. Terdapat juga peningkatan kemampuan siswa sebanyak 60% dengan baik dan 25% yang memahami tentang karakter sabar, karakter baik dan karakter sederhana. Siswa mengalami peningkatan ketertarikan untuk mengetahui lagu daerahnya sebanyak 100% setelah memahami muatan karakter dalam lagu Ininnawa Sabbarae. Berdasarkan jawaban hasil unpan balik setelah mengadakan pelatihan pengenalan kandungan karakter lagu dalam sdaerah Bugis dengan metode bernyanyi maka terjadi peningkatan pemahaman karakter, dan siswa merasa sangat puas..

Peat wildfires can burn over large areas of peatland, releasing ancient carbon and toxic gases into the atmosphere over prolonged periods. These emissions cause haze episodes of pollution and accelerate climate change. Peat wildfires are characterised by smouldering – the flameless, most persistent type of combustion. Mitigation strategies are needed in arctic, boreal, and tropical areas but are hindered by incomplete scientific understanding of smouldering. Here, we present GAMBUT, the largest and longest to-date field experiment of peat wildfires, conducted in a degraded peatland of Sumatra. Temperature, emission and spread of peat fire were continuously measured over 4–10 days and nights, and three major rainfalls. Measurements of temperature in the soil provide field experimental evidence of lethal fire severity to the biological system of the peat up to 30 cm depth. We report that the temperature of the deep smouldering is ~13% hotter than shallow layer during daytime. During night-time, both deep and shallow smouldering had the same level of temperature. The experiment was terminated by suppression with water. Comparison of rainfall with suppression confirms the existence of a critical water column height below which extinction is not possible. GAMBUT provides a unique understanding of peat wildfires at field conditions that can contribute to mitigation strategies.

A second order nonlinear differential system modeling non-oscillatory processes by over damping is considered. Then second order approximate solution is found by means of an extension of the Krylov-Bogoliubov-Mitropolskii (KBM) method. The method is illustrated by an example. The solutions for different initial conditions show a good agreement with those obtained by numerical solution.

The aims of this research are: (1) How is the Traditional Marriage Process of the Bugis Society in Pangkep Regency. (2) What is the Meaning of the Marriage Tradition of the Bugis Society of Pangkep Regency. (3) How is the Communication Pattern on the Marriage Customs of the Bugis Community in Pangkep Regency.This research lasted for one month and was located in the Pangkep Regency area. precisely in the Padanglampe Village with (6) six informants of which they were people from Pangkep Regency. The research method used is a qualitative research method. with data collection techniques carried out in two ways. namely primary data and secondary data. The data collection method is by conducting observations. interviews. documentation. literature studies and phenomenological methods.The results show that the Bugis community marriage process in Pangkep district has three stages. the first stage before marriage there are 5 traditions. the second stage of marriage there are 5 traditions then the post-wedding stage there are 2 traditions. in that tradition certainly saves some deep meanings. and there are also elements of primary and circular communication patterns.

The aims of study were: (1) To find out how the communication Pattern of the Cosmetology Program Partnership in the Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BBPVP) Makassar. (2) To find out how the partnerhip pattern developed in the cosmetology program at the Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BBPVP) Makassar. The research lasted for one month and was located at the Makassar Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BBPVP) office with 6 (six) informants with different bacgrounds. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The novelty of this research is that this research is discuss the pattern of partnership communication. The results of the study indicate that the partnership communication pattern is a form of collaborative communication between agencies. The communication pattern for the cosmetology program partnership at the Makassar Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BBPVP) is running well and as expected.

Background It is important to detect novel biomarkers responsible for the progression and spread of colorectal cancer (CRC) to better evaluate the prognosis of the patients, provide better management, and foster the development of therapeutic targets. In humans, pyrroline-5-carboxylate reductase 2 (PYCR2) is encoded on chromosome 1q42.12, and its metabolic activity has been linked to oncogenesis in many cancers. Zinc finger and broad-complex, tramtrack, and bric-à-brac (BTB) domain-containing protein 18 (ZBTB18), a zinc finger transcriptional repressor, has been found to have a tumor-suppressor role and to be methylated in CRCs. To date, the prognostic roles of PYCR2 and ZBTB18 in CRC patients have not been thoroughly studied. Objective To evaluate the tissue protein expression of PYCR2 and ZBTB18 in CRC and adjacent non-neoplastic intestinal tissues, to detect their roles in CRC carcinogenesis, progression and metastases. Patients and methods After applying the inclusion criteria, 60 CRC patients were included in the study. Tissue samples from the tumor and the adjacent non-neoplastic tissues were stained with PYCR2 and ZBTB18. The patients were followed up for about 30 months (range: 10 to 36 months). We performed a correlation regarding the expression of the markers, and clinicopathological and prognostic parameters. Results Upregulation of PYCR2 and downregulation of ZBTB18 were found to be higher in CRC tissue than in the adjacent non-neoplastic colonic mucosa (p = 0.026 and p Conclusion High expression of PYCR2 and low expression of ZBTB18 were independent predictors of CRC, progression, poor prognosis and unfavorable patient OS and progression-free survival (PFS) rates.

Introduction Advancements in HIV treatment has resulted in an ageing population in people living with HIV (PLWH). Increasing prevalence of frailty in older PLWH has been demonstrated, giving rise to multi-morbidities, polypharmacy and consequently, complex medical and social needs. Approximately 5650 people are living with HIV across Greater Manchester. With increasing patient complexity, a pathway was developed to help provide holistic care and improve quality of life for older adults living with HIV. Methods A pilot involving multi-disciplinary professionals from the hospital frailty, HIV and community teams was established. Patients were screened using the Clinical Frailty Scale and patients with a CFS ≥ 4 were referred for completion of a comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA). Patients would then be discussed at the Frailty MDT meeting, where action plans were devised. Results 47 patients were assessed between October 2020 to December 2021, with 30 eligible for review in the frailty clinic. Commonly reported issues were mobility n=26 (86.6%), pain n=23 (76.6%), low mood n= 14 (46.6%), memory issues n=3 (43.3%) and falls n=12 (40%). Following MDT recommendations, 8 (26.6%) referrals were completed for social care, 1 (3%) referral for safeguarding and 9 (30%) referrals for active case management community teams for co-ordination of care in the community. Deprescribing recommendations were suggested for 16 (53.3%) patients and new medicine recommendations made for 24 (80%) patients. Conclusion A collaborative MDT approach to managing older PLWH can facilitate formulation of action plans to address patients physical, psychological and social needs.

In the present research work, we employed the transfer matrix method (TMM) in addition to MATLAB software to examine the transmission properties of various organic-based one-dimensional (1D) magnetic cold-plasma photonic crystals (MCPPhCs). The proposed structures were found to be made up of periodic layers of organic materials and magnetic cold-plasma (MCP) at normal incidence. An external magnetic field (B) polarized in right-hand (RH) and left-hand (LH) configurations was applied on 1D MCPPhCs. Evaluation in standardization really needs to be carried out, including whether the livestock is in accordance with the SNI vital statistics standard (Indonesian national standard). The purpose of the study was to estimate heritability and breeding values of body weight and vital statistics in Etawah Grade (PE) goats in BPTU and HPT Pelaihari Kalimantan Selatan. The material used were the performance records of 220 PE goats, offsprings of 35 males and 71 females. The variables measured were body length and chest girth at birth, weaning, and 1 year of age. Variance componenet were analyzed using variance analysisrade. Heritability was estimated using the paternal half-sib correlation method by applying SPSS software. Breeding value was estimated using the progeny test model. The highest breeding value on body length at birth, at weaning age and at 1 year of age were sire 3315 KK, sire 4093 OK, and sire 4007 OK, respectively. The highest breeding Value on chest girth at birth, weaning age and 1 year of age were sire 3983 HH, 3315 HH, and 3971 HH. The conclusion of this study were the heritability for body weight were categorized high and for statistic vital were varied from medium to high value.

We have theoretically demonstrated an efficient way to improve the optical properties of an anti-reflection coating (ARC) and an intermediate reflective layer (IRL) to enhance tandem solar cell efficiency by localizing the incident photons’ energy on a suitable sub-cell. The optimum designed ARC from a one-dimensional ternary photonic crystal, consisting of a layer of silicon oxynitride (SiON), was immersed between two layers of (SiO2); thicknesses were chosen to be 98 nm, 48 nm, and 8 nm, respectively. The numerical results show the interesting transmission properties of the anti-reflection coating on the viable and near IR spectrum. The IRL was designed from one-dimensional binary photonic crystals and the constituent materials are Bi4Ge3O12 and μc-SiOx: H with refractive indexes was 2.05, and 2.8, respectively. The numbers of periods were set to 10. Thicknesses: d1 = 62 nm and d2 = 40 nm created a photonic bandgap (PBG) in the range of [420 nm: 540 nm]. By increasing the second material thickness to 55 nm, and 73 nm, the PBG shifted to longer wavelengths: [520 nm: 630 nm], and [620 nm: 730 nm], respectively. Thus, by stacking the three remaining structures, the PBG widened and extended from 400 nm to 730 nm. The current theoretical and simulation methods are based on the fundamentals of the transfer matrix method and finite difference time domain method.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap sebuah mitos dalam cerita legenda Tomanurung di Sulawesi Selatan. Hal tersebut sebagai upaya menggali nilai-nilai sosial yang terdapat dalam beberapa cerita rakyat Bugis Makassar. To Manurung adalah cerita legenda yang masih dipercaya kebenarannya oleh masyarakat Bugis-Makassar. Cerita legenda tersebut di dukung oleh artefak berupa kuburan tua yang berjumlah tujuh buah di pinggir Lapangan Karebosi. Tujuh buah kuburan tersebut adalah cerita legenda Sulawesi Selatan yang mengisahkan tentang Tujua Karebosi sebagai jejak turunnya Tomanurung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Data yang digunakan adalah naskah penelitian sastra legenda Tujua Karebosi dan cerita lisan To Manurung di Sulawesi Selatan. Sumber data adalah perpustakaan dan pakar sejarah Bugis-Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tentang ideologi sosiokultural masyarakat yang terbentuk dari munculnya Tomanurung. Ideologi yang terbentuk dalam masyarakat Bugis-Makassar setelah turunnya Tomanurung adalah ideologi persatuan setelah ribuan tahun perang saudara, ideologi kemanusiaan setelah adanya sianre bale (saling memangsa), ideologi politik yaitu terbentuknya kerajaan Tallo, ideologi religi yaitu pemahaman mistis, dan ideologi budaya yaitu (tentang ziarah).

The purpose of this study was to treat tilapia fillets by traditional smoke (hot and cold smoking) and liquid smoke (watery smoke and oily smoke), and examined the effects of these treatments on the fillets quality. The proximate composition and nutritional values were determined. The cold smoked fillets had the highest percentage, 43.97%; 8.3%; 6.05% and 274.78 Kcal, of protein, fat, carbohydrates and nutritional value, respectively. This research aims to describe students' ability to improve learning outcomes by using methods (Think, Talk, Write) in students of class X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 16 Makassar. This class action research has four stages of procedure that is. The subject in the study was class X IPS 1 sma Negeri 16 Makassar who numbered 36 students. Then the data is analyzed using quantitative and qualitative description analysis. The results showed that the activities shown by students from activities carried out in cycles 1 to cycle 2 showed different attitudes. After the action is carried out in cycle 2 students become more active in learning, students are not only silent as in cycle 1 but students also follow the instructions of researchers, besides that students also show interest and enthusiasm in the learning process. Student spirit is more visible and students more often ask related questions that are not yet understood. Tulisan ini memaparkan tentang model Pengajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing (BIPA) dengan tingkat kesulitan yang dihadapi untuk mentransper bahasa pada pembelajar. Salah satu cara pengajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah melalui pengenalan budaya lokal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori pemerolehan bahasa kedua dengan model lahiriah hipotesis Krashen, (1997). Beberapa masalah yang dihadapi oleh para pengajar BIPA-1, salah satunya adalah menghadapi mahasiswa BIPA yang belum ada pemahaman kosa kata. Hal tersebut nenjadi tantangan bagi pengajar BIPA-1 untuk memperkenalkan budaya lokal. Hal ini menjadi menarik karena pada umumnya pembelajar BIPA tertarik untuk mengenal budaya lokal Indonesia. Selain itu merupakan kewajiban bagi pengajar BIPA untuk mempromosikan budaya dan pariwisata lokal. Pengajar BIPA dianjurkan memperkenalkan budaya lokal pada penutur asing dengan model terintegrasi dalam bahan ajar sebagai sumbangsih pengajar terhadap kemajuan budaya dan pariwisata Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran BIPA yang terintegrasi ke dalam budaya lokal menunjukkan adanya motivasi yang tinggi bagi siswa untuk mempelajari Bahasa Indonesia dan budaya lokal dengan tingkat kecemasan yang cenderung lebih rendah. Background: Premature luteinization (PL) is not unusual in in vitro fertilization (IVF) and could not be whollyavoided by using either gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists or GnRH antagonist regimens. The studyaims to evaluate metformin’s efficacy in preventing PL in fresh GnRH antagonist intracytoplasmic sperm injection(ICSI) cycles with cleavage-stage embryo transfer.Materials and Methods: This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial was conducted in a tertiary universityIVF center. We recruited infertile women who were scheduled to perform their first or second ICSI trial. Eligiblewomen were recruited and randomized in a 1:1 ratio into two groups. Metformin was administered in a dose of 1500mg per day since the start of contraceptive pills in the cycle antecedent to stimulation cycle until the day of ovulationtriggering, while women in the placebo group received a placebo for the same regimen and duration. The primaryoutcome was the incidence of PL, defined as serum progesterone (P) on the triggering day ≥1.5 ng/mL. Secondaryoutcomes comprised the live birth, ongoing pregnancy, implantation, and good-quality embryos rates.Results: The trial involved 320 eligible participants (n=160 in each group). Urbanisation affects the environment and ecosystems in many ways. For example, cities are continuous, resulting in their footprint being extended. Rapid urbanisation is driving cities to become significantly warmer than the surrounding countryside as a result of this rapid urbanisation and the unsustainable attitude of their citizens toward the city. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted by countries worldwide a few years ago. This will enable challenges. In light of this, cities need to adopt sustainable urbanization, allowing citizens to participate in participatory, integrated, sustainable city planning and city management to enhance the quality of life. By implementing the SDGs, cities can help reverse the damage done to their ecosystems. As part of its 2052 National Vision, Egypt has also implemented the SDGs and achieved targeted improvements for its citizens. This chapter concludes with comprehensive initiatives in the context of implementing the SDGs.

PurposeThis study aims to investigate how social capital (e.g. cognitive and relational) influences students’ trust (e.g. cognitive and affective) as mediator variables, affecting students’ information sharing activity on Facebook.Design/methodology/approachThe sample consists of 398 valid participants obtained through an online survey and using structural equation modeling (SEM) to test the research hypotheses.FindingsThe empirical results indicate that social capital has significant and positive effects on students’ trust (e.g. cognitive and affective-based trust), also mediator variables. Furthermore, the mediator variables partially mediate social capital and information sharing based on the concept of cognition-affection-behavior (CAB).Research limitations/implicationsThis study was limited to Indonesian students. Therefore, future study is needed to analyze across cultures and regions. It can help practitioners, regulators and researchers to observe the dynamic behavior on the impact of social capital on social media users’ activities.Practical implicationsEducation stakeholders (e.g. lecturers and teachers) can identify the students’ goal and rational concerns to improve their social capital and trust to share information. The government as a regulator needs to support students’ activities on social media to provide updated information regarding economic and social conditions during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.Originality/valueThis study contributes to the literature on virtual communities. Specifically, it considers how social capital influences trust, which subsequently affects information sharing based on the CAB context among Indonesian student’ Facebook users.

Organic-compound-based sensors have important applications, such as applications in geothermal power stations, the shoe industry, the extraction of vegetable oil, azeotropic calibration and medical science. Herein, a 1D photonic crystal (PC) with a defect has been used to develop a photonic-technology-based organic compound sensor with optimum performance. The structure of the proposed organic compound sensor consists of a water cavity sandwiched between two symmetric sub-PCs, which are composed of alternate layers of SiO2 and ZnO. The proposed air/(SiO2/ZnO)5/cavity/(SiO2/ZnO)5/glass structure with the optimized structural parameters achieves a quality factor that varies between a minimum value of 4968.2 and a maximum value of 6418.5. The FOM and sensitivity values of the proposed sensing design are on the order of 102 and 103, respectively. The LOD value of the proposed sensor is on the order of 10−5, which is very low, as is always expected for chemical sensing designs. Thus, the simple design and excellent performance make our design highly efficient and suitable for sensing applications in the industrial and biomedical fields.

Aims: Addiction is a physical, psychological, and social illness, where shocking behavior that has destructive consequences, repeats constantly. Addiction is one of the problems of human societies and combat this problem always many losses a lot of energy and money. Jealousy is an unpleasant feeling and inclusive. The nature and the core of jealousy is wishing and trying to lose favor others. Jealousy is one of the emotions that disrupt the normal functioning of a personchr('39')s life are sometimes endanger her physical and mental health and it is almost important. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to determine the effect of jealousy on the causes of tendency toward addiction. Instruments & Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 100 male addicts referring to addiction treatment centers in Mashhad were selected using random sampling. The instrument was the jealousy and the tendency to an addiction questionnaire. The data were analyzed using SPSS 20 software and ANOVA, Pearson and Spearman correlation analysis. Findings: The results depicted that the mean age was 32.3±8.5 years and the mean duration of addiction was 10.42±6.8 years.
