Background. Conditioning regimens with high-dose chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) are the mainstays of treatment in lymphoma patients. Although the most frequently used conditioning regimen is the BEAM regimen (Carmustine, Etoposide, Cytarabine, and Melphalan), and alternatives are also used in certain circumstances. The TEAM regimen (carmustine is substituted by the alkylating agent thiotepa) is one of these alternatives; however, data regarding the comparisons of efficacy and safety profiles of these 2 regimens is scarce. This study compared the outcomes of patients who received conditioning regimens with BEAM and TEAM and underwent an ASCT.Methods. This study was conducted as a retrospective assessment of 294 patient outcomes in terms of efficacy and safety. Adult patients with lymphoma diagnosis who received BEAM or TEAM conditioning regimens and underwent an ASCT between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2019 were included in the analyses.Results. A total of 294 patients (median age at ASCT: 50 years, males: 60.5%, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma: 35%) were included. Eighty patients (27.2%) received the TEAM regimen, and 214 (72.8%) received the BEAM regimen. Regarding safety profiles, the thrombocyte engraft-ment time was significantly higher in the TEAM group (P = .003) and fever of unknown etiology was significantly higher in the BEAM group (P = .042). Also, nausea was more in the TEAM group (P = .031). The complete remission rate was 57.5% and 70.3% in the TEAM and BEAM regimens, respectively. The overall mortality rate was 37.3% and not significantly different between the groups (43% and 35% in the TEAM and BEAM groups, P = .22) over a similar median follow-up of 1667 days (P = .28). The 3-year survival rate was 66% and 67% and the 5-year survival rate was 52% and 58% in the TEAM and BEAM regimens, respectively, without significant difference.Conclusion. To the best of our knowledge, this is one of the few studies in the literature that compared the TEAM and BEAM as conditioning regimens for ASCT in lymphoma patients. The 2 regimens may provide similar overall survival outcomes and have a comparable safety pro-file. Although the BEAM regimen may be associated with longer progression-free survival times, the difference may be covered by the similar survival after ASCT.

The present study a healthy lıvıng and sports center customers ( the ladies ) to investigate the level of satisfaction with these facilities. Universe of this study was the province of Elazig when healthy lıvıng and sports center the sample of customers (the ladies) constitute. Empathy is on of the necessary source for make people live together. Because, the first rule of having good relationship with the closer environment requires understanding that what he or she is feeling in their bad or good moments and treating according to the their feelings. In this study, comparing the empathic tendency levels of sport sciences faculty students in terms of different variables and determining whether there was significant difference or not were purposed. Fırat University is constituted universe of study also Sport Sciences Faculty students who studied in 2015-2016 education season were constituted sample of study. Totally 150 students particpated to this study. A questionnaire which one composed of two parts were used to determine of emphatic tendency levels of stundents who participated to study. The first part of questionnaire includes five questions towards Sport Sciences Faculty student’s demographic informations. The second part includes ‘’Emphatic Tendency Scale (ETS)’’ conducted validity-reliability study by Dökmen in 1988. Gathered data were analyzed on SPSS 15.0 statics pocket program and 0,05 considered as significance level for data’s validity and reliability. Consequently, Sport Sciences Faculty students scored high emphatic tendency levels were determined. But there were no impact of gender, age, department, mother and father educational status variables on students’ emphatic tendency levels were concluded.

A sociotropic characteristic is the characteristic that includes thoughts, attitudes and aims towards other individuals to provide support to other individuals by meeting their needs. Sociotropic, also known as social belonging, is defined as the ability of an individual to interact positively with other people. Individuals with high sociotropic characteristics are intensely interested in and approving other individuals, seeking to love and be loved, are not too stubborn, are likely to be used by others, and are interested in participating in common activities and helping others. The purpose of our study is therefore to examine the sociotropic personality traits of university students. In the scope of the study, the universities of our research constitute students of Fırat University and the students of physical education teaching department and Turkish teaching department constitute students. A total of 384 students participated in the research. The questionnaire is composed of two parts. In the first part of the questionnaire, 8 items related to the personal information of the students participated in the survey and in the second part includes scale includes totally 60 items that developed by Beck, Rush and Shawve Emery in 1979 and in the Turkish case, reliability and validity studies conducted by Savaşır and Şahin (1997) the Likert type "Sociotropic Autonomy Scale " 30-items of this sociotropy subscale was used. As a result, the sociotropic personality characteristics of the students were found to be high. In addition, there was a significant difference between the students in terms of department, gender, family structure, number of siblings and income status of their families and sociotropic personality.

In this study it is aimed to find out the behavior of smoking among the students who does sports and fitness aged 18-25. The environment of the study is Elazig and the samples of the study are the fitness and sport centers. To get the data a questionnaire form made up of four parts was used. In the 1st part questions about personal information and family, in the 2nd part questions about personal information of the person who attended the study, in the 3rd part questions about daily smoking habits, in the 4th part questions about smoking behaviors were asked. For the study 200 questionnaires were used, frequency and percentage distribution was calculated and given. Frequency and percentage distribution of daily smoking habits and personal information of people doing fitness and sports who attended the study were shown. Smoking habits of people who does fitness and sports were tested by using the questionnaire. 200 people answered the questionnaire. %15 of the attendees were aged 17-18, %10 aged 19-20, %15 aged 21-22, %25 aged 23-24, %35 aged over 25. %85 of the attendees were single and %15 of them were married. %10 of the attendees were living in big cities, %80 of them were living in city centers, %5 of them were living in counties and %5 of them were living in towns or villages. %85 of the attendees had elementary families, %12 of them had extended families and %13 of them had separated families. As a result according to the study the rate of smoking habit among the people who are doing fitness and sport is high also it is seen that the smoking rate of man is higher than the smoking rate of women. The students attended to the questionnaire who wanted to be a model for not smoking get 0.85 points in other words %85 give. Also panels and conferences should be given to people who does fitness and sport to tell them the negative effects of smoking to the performance and health of the sportsman to make them stop smoking., Bu çalışmada Elazığ da fitness sporu ile ugraşan 18-25 yaşları arasındaki öğrencilerin sigara kullanım alışkanlıkları tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Elazığ ili örneklemini ise Elazığ ilinde bulunan fitness salonlarında spor yapan öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin elde edilmesin de dört bölümden oluşan anket formu kullanılmıştır. 1. Bölümde aile ye yönelik kişisel bilgiler. 2. Bölümde araştırmaya dahil edilenlerin kişisel bilgileri. 3. Bölümde günlük sigara kullanımına ait bilgiler. 4. Bölümde sigara kullanım davranışlarına ilişkin sorular sorulmuştur. Araştırma için 200 anket kullanılarak frekans ve yüzde dağılımları hesaplanarak verilmiştir. Araştırmaya dahil edilen fitness yapan ve sporla ilgilenenlerin kişisel bilgilerini ve günlük sigara kullanımları frekans ve yüzde dağılımları gösterilmiştir. Fitness ve sporla ilgilenen kişilerin sigara kullanım alışkanlıkları tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ankete katılan 200 kişiden cevap alınmıştır. Bunlardan 17-18 yaş aralığı %15 , 19-20 yaş aralığı %10 , 21-22 yaş aralığı %15 , 23-24 yaş aralığı %25 , 25 ve üzeri yaş aralığı %35 olarak çalışmaya katılmıştır. Ankete katılanların %85‟i bekar %15‟i evlidir. Ankete katılanların %10‟u büyük şehir %80‟ı kent merkezi %5‟i ilçe %5‟ kasabaköyde yaşamaktadır. Ankete katılanların %85‟i çekirdek aile %12‟si geniş aile %13‟ü ise anne ve babaları ayrıdır. Sonuç olarak araştırmaya katılan Fitness ve sporla ilgilenenlerin sigara kullanımlarının yüksek olduğu görünmektedir ayrıca erkeklerin sigara kullanım oranları bayanların sigara kullanım oranlarından yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ankete katılan öğrencilerin sigara içmeyerek çevreye örnek oluşturması %85‟i evet cevabını vermiştir. Sigara içenlerin %88.89 oranında erkek %11.11 oranın da bayandır. Bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda Fitness ve sporla ilgilenen sporculara panel ve konferans gibi yollarla sigaranın sporcu sağlığı ve performansına olumsuz etkileri anlatılarak sigarayı bıraktırıcı çalışmaların gerekliliğinin uygun olacağı düşünülmektedir

This research was prepared in order to determine the knowledge, attitudes and behaviors about nutrition of the families of disabled children. This research population constitute Elazig city and the samples constitute 3 special education schools in the province of Elazig. For the data acquisition was used the questionnaire which consists of four sections. The personal information for families consist of 11 items in the first part, the personal information of the children who are incorporated the research consist of 5 items in the second part, the information for the daily diet consist of 3 items in the third part and for the details related to the child's feeding behavior consist of 11 questions in the fourth part. 250 questionnaireswere sent to familiesfor research, but 122 of them were returned.SPSS 15 statistical program was used for the analysis of research data, the level of significance was taken as 0.05.As statistical analysis was shown the personal information’s of families and children who are involved in research and the frequencies and percentage distributionsrelated to the daily nutrition information. For the detection of the differences between the scores which are obtained from the scale and the other factors were applied "T test" and"one-way variance analysis"(anova test). Finally, it was observed that the average of the scores which obtained from the scalefor the information’s about feeding behaviors of the children who participated in the research is near to the lowest average which is obtained generally from the scale. This case suggests that the attitudes towards nutritionof the families and children who included in the research are low. Forming our research group of this particular group of healthy nutrition with nutritional information both in terms of their own health as well as future generations will be important., Bu araştırma, engelli çocuk ailelerinin beslenme hakkındaki bilgi, tutum ve davranışlarını belirlemek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Bu araştırmanın evrenini Elazığ ili örneklemini ise Elazığ ilinde bulunan 3 özel eğitim okulu oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin elde edilmesin de dört bölümden oluşan anket formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma için 250 anket ailelere gönderilmiş ancak bunların 122 tanesi geri dönmüştür. Araştırmada verilerin analizinde SPSS 15 istatistik programı kullanılmış, anlamlılık düzeyi P < 0,05 olarak alınmıştır. İstatistiksel analiz olarak araştırmaya dahil edilen çocukların ve ailelerin kişisel bilgilerini ve günlük beslenme bilgilerine ilişkin frekans ve yüzde dağılımları gösterilmiştir. Diğer faktörlerle ölçekten alınan puan arasındaki farkların tespitinde ise “t testi” ve “tek yönlü varyans analizi” (anova testi) uygulanmıştır. Sonuç olarak araştırmaya katılan ailelerin çocuklarının beslenme davranışlarına ilişkin bilgilere yönelik ölçekten elde ettikleri puan ortalamalarının düşük olduğu görülmektedir. Bu da araştırmaya dahil edilen çocukların ailelerinin beslenmeye yönelik tutumlarının düşük olduğunu göstermektedir. Araştırma grubumuzu oluşturan bu özel grubun beslenme bilgilerine sahip olarak saglıklı beslenmeleri hem kendi sağlıkları hem de gelecek kuşaklar açısındanda önemli olacaktır

Dünyada kabul görmüş olan spor kavramı stres, problem, zorlu ve başarısızlık gibi kelimeleri bünyesinde barındırmaktadır. Sporcuların başarılı olabilmeleri ve karşılaştıkları zorlu ve olumsuz durumlarda erken toparlanabilmeleri için zihinsel dayanıklılıklarını olabildiğince en üst seviyelerde tutmaları gerekmektedir. Zihinsel dayanıklılık kavramı, spor psikologları ve araştırmacılar tarafından çok yönlü bir yapıda kabul edilir ve sadece olumsuz durumlarda gerekli olan bir beceri olarak değerlendirilir. Bu bilgiler ışığında bu araştırmada farklı liglerde lisanslı olarak faaliyet gösteren futbolcuların zihinsel dayanıklılık düzeyleri ve antropometrik özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Araştırmaya TFF 2. Lig, TFF 3. Lig, Bölgesel Amatör Lig ve Amatör Liglerde futbol oynayan toplam 122 sporcu katılmıştır. Araştırmada veri elde etmek için Zihinsel Dayanıklılık Envanteri kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca futbolcuların fiziksel uygunluk durumları için TANİTA BC-418 cihazı ile boy, kilo, Vücut Kitle İndeksi, Bazal Metabolizma, Deri Kıvrım Kalınlığı, Segmental Kas ve yağ dağılımı ve empedans ölçümleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, araştırmaya katılan futbolcuların yaş ortalamasının 23.15±1,28, VKİ ortalamalarının 22.07±1,33 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yine araştırma sonucunda futbolcuların Zihinsel Dayanıklılık envanteri ortalama puanının 42.87±0,83 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak araştırmaya katılan futbolcuların zihinsel dayanıklılık düzeylerinin farklı liglere göre anlamlı ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu anlamda futbolcuların lig kategorisi arttıkça zihinsel dayanıklılık durumlarının alt boyutları olan güven, kontrol ve devamlılık özelliklerinde anlamlı ilişki olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır., The concept of sports accepted in the world contains words such as stress, problem, challenging and failure. Athletes need to keep their mental resilience as high as possible in order to be successful and to recover early in difficult and negative situations they encounter. The concept of mental stamina is accepted by sports psychologists and researchers in a multi-faceted structure and is considered as a necessary skill only in adverse situations. In the light of this information, mental resilience levels and anthropometric properties of football players operating in different leagues were determined in this study. A total of 122 athletes playing football in the TFF 2. League, TFF 3. League, Regional Amateur League and Amateur Leagues participated in the study. In the research, Mental Resilience Inventory was used to obtain data. In addition, height, weight, Body Mass Index BMI , Basal Metabolism, Skinfold Thickness, Segmental Muscle and fat distribution and impedance measurements were performed with the TANITA BC-418 device for the physical fitness conditions of football players. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the average age of the football players participating in the research is 23.15 ± 1.28 and their BMI averages are 22.07 ± 1.33. The average score of the Mental Endurance inventory of the players was also determined from the research as 42.87 ± 0.83. As a result, it was determined that the mental endurance levels of the football players participating in the research have a significant relationship with respect to different leagues. In this sense, as the league category of footballers increases, it is concluded that there is a significant relationship in the mental resilience, trust, control and continuity which are sub-dimensions of mental resilience conditions.

The donor binding energies are numerically calculated for with and without the electric and magnetic fields in order to show their influence on the binding energies. Moreover, how the donor binding energies change for the constant potential parameters (D-e, r(e), and a) as well as with the different values of the electric and magnetic field strengths is determined.
