Studien grundar sig i tidigare forskning inom området digitala verktyg i fritidshemmet och ställs mot genomförda undersökningar. Forskningsetiska aspekter tas i beaktning under undersökningens framväxt. Genomförd studie har genomsyrats av enkäter samt semistrukturerade intervjuer i en så kallad mixed methods. Studiens teoretiska förankring valdes att förhålla sig till det sociokulturella perspektivet, i och med de likheter som finns i denna teori, och den undervisningsform som bedrivs i fritidshemmet. I resultatet lyfts det att lärare som innehar ett eget intresse har lättare för att använda digitala verktyg i fritidshemmets undervisning. Undersökningens resultat ställs sedan mot tidigare forskning och relevant litteratur.

Examensarbets syfte är att undersöka hur kommunikation och samverkan kring det gemensamma uppdraget för skola och fritidshem uppfattas av de olika aktörerna i de båda verksamheterna. I examensarbetet undersöks även vilka eventuella möjligheter och hinder de olika aktörerna upplever kring sitt gemensamma uppdrag. För att besvara syftet och frågeställningarna gjordes totalt sex intervjuer med rektorer, fritidspedagoger och klasslärare. Med hjälp av begrepp från Pierre Bourdieus sociologiska teorier har vi analyserat resultatet från dessa intervjuer för att synliggöra hur kommunikation och samverkan kring det gemensamma uppdraget för skola och fritidshem uppfattas av de olika aktörerna inom de båda verksamheterna samt belysa de eventuella hinder och möjligheter de upplever i relation till detta. Resultatet och analysen av den insamlade empirin tyder på att kommunikation är en avgörande del för en fungerande samverkan mellan aktörer i de båda verksamheterna och att samverkan är en förutsättning för att arbeta för det gemensamma uppdraget, en helhet för elevernas lärande.

Syftet med den här studien är att undersöka vad tekniklärare på gymnasiet upplever om utformningen av deras undervisning. Undersökningen utgick huvudsakligen från tre olika perspektiv som var ämnes- och kursplaner, tekniklärarens bakgrund och rådande förutsättningar. För att besvara syftet utfördes en kvalitativ intervjustudie med fyra utbildade tekniklärare på gymnasienivå. Allt intervjumaterial transkriberades och sedan genomfördes en innehållsanalys. Resultatet visade att gymnasielärare i teknik upplever utformningen av ämnes- och kursplaner som genomtänkt och välfungerande, samt att det inte är särskilt svårt att täcka in kursplanens centrala innehåll i deras undervisning. Det visade sig att tekniklärarnas bakgrund utanför teknikläraryrket och de rådande förutsättningarna på arbetsplatsen hade en stor inverkan på utformningen av lärarnas undervisning. Några av informanterna menade till och med att deras bakgrund var absolut nödvändig för att kunna bedriva den undervisning de gör. Bland de rådande förutsättningarna förhåller sig tekniklärarna ofta positiva trots att det enligt alla informanter fanns rum för förbättring på deras arbetsplats. Flera olika förutsättningar ansågs viktiga, men den som ansågs viktigast var tillgången till en dedikerad tekniksal.

Recent studies of muscle‐invasive bladder cancer show that FGFR3 mutations are generally found in a luminal papillary tumour subtype that is characterised by better survival than other molecular subtypes. To better understand the role of FGFR3 in invasive bladder cancer, we examined the process of tumour development induced by the tobacco carcinogen OH‐BBN in genetically engineered models that express mutationally activated FGFR3 S249C or FGFR3 K644E in the urothelium. Both occurrence and progression of OH‐BBN‐driven tumours were increased in the presence of an S249C mutation compared to wild‐type control mice. Interestingly, at an early tumour initiation stage, the acute inflammatory response in OH‐BBN‐treated bladders was suppressed in the presence of an S249C mutation. However, at later stages of tumour progression, increased inflammation was observed in S249C tumours, long after the carcinogen administration had ceased. Early‐phase neutrophil depletion using an anti‐Ly6G monoclonal antibody resulted in an increased neutrophil‐to‐lymphocyte ratio at later stages of pathogenesis, indicative of enhanced tumour pathogenesis, which supports the hypothesis that suppression of acute inflammation could play a causative role. Statistical analyses of correlation showed that while initial bladder phenotypes in morphology and inflammation were FGFR3‐dependent, increased levels of inflammation were associated with tumour progression at the later stage. This study provides a novel insight into the tumour‐promoting effect of FGFR3 mutations via regulation of inflammation at the pre‐tumour stage in the bladder. Global mRNA expression analysis is efficient for phenotypic profiling of tumours, and has been used to define molecular subtypes for almost every major tumour type. A key limitation is that most tumours are communities of both tumour and non‐tumour cells. This problem is particularly pertinent for analysis of advanced invasive tumours, which are known to induce major changes and responses in both the tumour and the surrounding tissue. To identify bladder cancer tumour‐cell phenotypes and compare classification by tumour‐cell phenotype with classification by global gene expression analysis, we analysed 307 advanced bladder cancers (cystectomized) both by genome gene expression analysis and by immunohistochemistry with antibodies for 28 proteins. According to systematic analysis of gene and protein expression data, focusing on key molecular processes, we describe five tumour‐cell phenotypes of advanced urothelial carcinoma: urothelial‐like, genomically unstable, basal/SCC‐like, mesenchymal‐like, and small‐cell/neuroendocrine‐like. We provide molecular pathological definitions for each subtype. Tumours expressing urothelial differentiation factors show inconsistent and abnormal protein expression of terminal differentiation markers, suggesting pseudo‐differentiation. Cancers with different tumour‐cell phenotypes may co‐cluster (converge), and cases with identical tumour‐cell phenotypes may cluster apart (diverge), in global mRNA analyses. This divergence/convergence suggests that broad global commonalities related to the invasive process may exist between muscle‐invasive tumours regardless of specific tumour‐cell phenotype. Hence, there is a systematic disagreement in subtype classification determined by global mRNA profiling and by immunohistochemical profiling at the tumour‐cell level. We suggest that a combination of molecular pathology (tumour‐cell phenotype) and global mRNA profiling (context) is required for adequate subtype classification of muscle‐invasive bladder cancer. © 2017 The Authors. People share more and more on social media, aware that they are being surveilled but unaware of the scope and the ways that their data is processed. Large amounts of resources are dedicated to performing the surveillance, both in terms of labor and computation. This project explores the scope of data collection and processing by showing that it is possible to gather, process, and store data from the social media platforms Twitter and Reddit in real-time using only a personal computer. The focus was to use facial recognition to find specific individuals in the stream of data, but the data collected can be used for other purposes. We have also explored the ethical concerns regarding both the collection and processing of such data. Människor delar mer och mer på social medier medvetna om att de blir övervakade, men omedvetna om i vilken utsträckning och på vilka sätt datan är processad. Idag används mycket resurser för att urföra dessa uppgifter. Med det här projektet visar vi att det är möjligt att samla in, processa och spara data från sociala medierna Reddit och Twitter i realtid genom att enbart använda en persondator. Vårat fokus har varit att använda ansiktsigenkänning för att identifiera specifika individer från en dataström, men datan kan användas för andra syften. Vi har också kollat på de etiska dilemman som dyker upp i samband med insamling och processning av sådan data.

In order to reach climate goals regarding the reduction ofcarbon dioxide in the environment, the decarbonisation of the transport sector plays a crucial role. Along with this revolution, electric vehicles will most likely be a candidate to replace market shares from gasoline and diesel. The deployment of electric cars is now starting to increase, by over 2 millions electrical vehicles running on the streets world wide in year 2016, which is more than the double compared to previous year. This master thesis examines home charging and its impact on the distribution grid of two types, one in a smaller urban area and one in a rural area in the Swedish city Sala. Different integration levels of electric vehicles are examined regarding voltage drop, relative loading of conductors and transformers, and the voltage symmetry with charging only on one phase. The simulations are made in the NIS-based system dpPower based on charging data from Grahn et.al.(2013), and the study of powerpeaks is made in Matlab with the use of consumption data from customers. The results show that the transfomer is the only limitation in the grid of the urban area, which fails at an integration level of 50 percent at 11 kW of charging. Compared to the grid in the rural area which reacts more strongly of home charging. In this case it is most likely to fail at 30 percents integration at 3,7 kW of charging. Also a greater accuracy has to be taken into account here regarding the placing of one phase-chargers at different phases. This in order to not exceed the 2 percent limit of voltage symmetry. With the aim to reduce power peaks, the grid seems to benefit from high demand response and local battery storage, which reduce the power peaks to an extent that could be comparable to reducing the integration level of electric vehicles from 50 to 30 percent.

The thesis Divinycycle is a product development project with the aim of contributing to a better environment by recycling industrial waste. The project has grown into a unique business idea where industrial waste becomes a new material. This by using product development models, theories and methods. Today the company Diab Group AB put their waste of divinycell on a landfill and this is bad for the environment and it is very expensive for the company. The project Divinycycle turns these disadvantages to advantages for the project in the way of getting the material for free and then recycle it by manufacturing and selling new products. The new material is divinycell waste mixed with cement and has a huge potential. The products at Divinycycle Designs with light weight concrete furnitures is just one of many areas where the material can be used. The project group sees that the opportunities for the material is huge in other areas as well, for example in construction.

This thesis project has been carried out with Husmuttern AB as the requestor for the job. Husmuttern AB is a company in the start-up phase which works with developing module houses which are recyclable, disassemblable and standardized. The goal for the thesis project is to design an assembly station for mobile tool boards in a Husmuttern factory. There should also be instructions for the assembly station. The tool boards are used as storage for tools, safety equipment and more. The station must be usable for people without professional experience and regardless of language knowledge and background. The research questions are: * How should the instructions be designed so that a person regardless of language background can understand them? * What are the most important factors regarding ergonomics and protection against misassembly? The method used is based on the product development process described in Produktutveckling by Ulrich, K and Eppinger, S (2012), but adapted to the current project. To obtain a complete tool board one needs to place all hooks and other storage on the board and thereafter mount the boards to legs to make it mobile. To make sure that all hooks, nuts, etc. are placed correctly, installation templates are used to show where everything needs to be placed. A fixture is used for the legs, where one stands the legs, installs the boards in the correct order and uses screws to secure them. The instructions are in the shape of a Powerpoint presentation which is displayed on TV monitors in the factory. The instructions contain pictures and video showing every step of the assembly. There are also symbols, like for example arrows, pointing out important details which need to be observed. The instructions contain no current text, the only writing is numbers, which the workers are expected to understand. The project group has carried out tests with the workers in the factory. The tests have shown that the concept works. The installation templates combined with the instructions makes it easy for the workers to understand where everything needs to be placed. The fixture for the legs has not been tested with the workers in its final form, but the concept has been tested and is working satisfactorily. Husmuttern AB är ett företag i uppstartsfasen som utvecklar modulhus som ska vara återvinningsbara, demonterbara och standardiserade. Tavlorna används som förvaring för verktyg, säkerhetsattiraljer m.m. Stationen ska kunna användas av människor utan yrkeserfarenhet och oavsett språkkunskaper och bakgrund. Forskningsfrågorna är: * Hur ska instruktionerna utformas så att personer oavsett språklig bakgrund kan förstå dem? * Vilka faktorer är de mest avgörande när det gäller ergonomi och skydd mot felmontering? Metoden som använts baseras på produktutvecklingsprocessen som beskrivs i Produktutveckling av Ulrich, K och Eppinger, S (2012), men är anpassad till det aktuella projektet. För att få en färdig verktygstavla behöver man montera alla krokar och annan förvaring på tavlorna och därefter montera tavlorna på ben så att den blir mobil. För att alla krokar, muttrar m.m. ska hamna på rätt plats på tavlorna har man använt hålmallar som visar var varje del ska sitta. Till benen används en fixtur som man ställer benen i, lägger i tavlorna i rätt ordning och skruvar fast dem. Instruktionerna är i form av en powerpoint-presentation som spelas upp på tv-apparater i fabriken. Instruktionerna innehåller bilder och video som visar varje moment i monteringen. De innehåller också symboler som t.ex. pilar som ska uppmärksamma viktiga detaljer. Instruktionerna innehåller ingen löpande text, den enda skrift som finns är siffror, vilka arbetarna förväntas förstå. Projektgruppen har gjort tester med arbetare i fabriken. Testerna har visat att konceptet fungerar. Hålmallarna i kombination med instruktionerna gör att arbetarna enkelt förstår var alla delar ska monteras. Fixturen för benen har inte testats på arbetarna i sin slutgiltiga form men konceptet har testats och det fungerar tillfredsställande.
