Background Coronary vasospasm is a recognized side effect of 5-fluorouracil (5-FU). There are limited and conflicting data on the incidence, risk factors, and prognostic effect of 5-FU–associated vasospasm. Objectives This study sought to assess the incidence, risk factors, and prognostic implications of 5-FU coronary vasospasm among patients receiving 5-FU regimens at a single tertiary care center. Methods The study conducted a retrospective analysis of all patients who received 5-FU at a single academic center from January 2009 to July 2019. Vasospasm was defined as the occurrence of a typical chest pain syndrome in the presence of 5-FU. The presence of associated electrocardiogram changes or elevated biomarkers was used to further confirm the diagnosis. Patients with vasospasm were compared with patients treated with 5-FU without vasospasm in a 1:2 ratio. Data regarding demographics, medical history, and follow-up were collected by manual chart review. Results From approximately 4,019 individual patients who received 5-FU from 2009 to 2019 at a single center, 87 (2.16%) developed vasospasm. Patients who developed vasospasm were younger (age 58 ± 13 years vs. 64 ± 13 years; p = 0.001) and were less likely to have any cardiovascular risk factors (70.1% vs. 84.5%; p = 0.007). Patients with vasospasm and patients without vasospasm were otherwise similar in terms of types of cancer, stage of cancer, sex, and race. There was no significant difference in progression-free survival, overall mortality or cancer specific mortality between patients who developed vasospasm versus those who did not. Conclusions In a large, single-center report of 5-FU–associated vasospasm, patients who developed vasospasm were younger, had lower rates of traditional cardiovascular risk factors, and had no significant difference in progression-free or overall survival compared with those who did not develop vasospasm.

Intramolecular isotope distributions, including isotope clumping and position specific fractionation, can provide proxies for the formation temperature and formation and destruction pathways of molecules. In this study, we explore the position-specific hydrogen isotope distribution in propane. We analyzed propane samples from 10 different petroleum systems with high-resolution molecular mass spectrometry. Our results show that the hydrogen isotope fractionation between central and terminal positions of natural propanes ranges from −102‰ to +205‰, a much larger range than that expected for thermodynamic equilibrium at their source and reservoir temperatures (36–63‰). Based on these findings, we propose that the hydrogen isotope structure of catagenic propane is largely controlled by irreversible processes, expressing kinetic isotope effects (KIEs). Kinetic control on hydrogen isotope composition of the products of thermal cracking is supported by a hydrous pyrolysis experiment using the Woodford Shale as substrate, in which we observed isotopic disequilibrium in the early stage of pyrolysis. We make a more general prediction of KIE signatures associated with kerogen cracking by simulating this chemistry in a kinetic Monte Carlo model for different types of kerogens. In contrast, unconventional shale fluids or hot conventional reservoirs contain propane with an isotopic structure close to equilibrium, presumably reflecting internal and/or heterogeneous exchange during high temperature storage (ca. 100–150 °C). Introduction Appropriate dosing of therapeutic anticoagulation during periods of thrombocytopenia remains uncertain for patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplants (HSCT). There is a paucity of literature on treatment outcomes for HSCT patients treated with non-prophylactic, but reduced doses of therapeutic anticoagulation during thrombocytopenia. The primary objective was to determine the incidence of major bleeding events during thrombocytopenia when reduced-dose enoxaparin was administered. Methods This is a retrospective review of patients with a venous thromboembolic event (VTE) who underwent HSCT and received reduced-dose enoxaparin during thrombocytopenia at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) from April 1, 2016 to August 31, 2018. Incidence of recurrent VTE and bleeding events for up to one month were investigated. Rates of recurrent VTE and enoxaparin dose adjustments (0.5 mg/kg twice daily vs 1 mg/kg daily) were also reviewed. Results Out of 172 patients reviewed, 27 patients met inclusion criteria. There were no recurrent VTEs within one month of initial enoxaparin dose reduction. There was one major bleeding episode that occurred while a patient was on full-dose enoxaparin; believed to be related to cyclophosphamide cardiopulmonary toxicity and resulted in death. There were six non-major bleeding episodes, only one of which was clinically significant and resulted in the discontinuation of enoxaparin. Conclusion Our evaluation of therapeutic enoxaparin dose reductions for thrombocytopenia in the HSCT patient population found this practice to be effective in reducing the recurrence of VTE with no major bleeding adverse events. However, the rate of non-significant minor bleeds should be monitored while on reduced-dose enoxaparin.

Introduction Letermovir inhibits cytomegalovirus replication and is approved for the prevention of cytomegalovirus infection in cytomegalovirus seropositive hematopoietic cell transplantation recipients. Studies have found that letermovir coadministration has minimal effect on tacrolimus levels prior to the start of voriconazole, a strong cytochrome P450 (CYP) 3A4 inhibitor. However, data are lacking for hematopoietic cell transplantation recipients receiving letermovir and tacrolimus with moderate CYP 3A4 inhibitors as antifungal prophylaxis. Methods In this retrospective single-center analysis, we reviewed the charts of 92 consecutive adult allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation recipients receiving letermovir, tacrolimus, and moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors for antifungal prophylaxis. Results Tacrolimus concentration/dose (C/D) ratios were evaluated for the first 7 days pre-letermovir and for the first and second 7-day periods after letermovir. The tacrolimus mean C/D ratios [(ng/mL)/(mg/kg/day)] increased significantly with the addition of letermovir: 172.99 (95% confidence interval (CI): 158.2–187.78) pre-letermovir, 268.66 (95% CI: 244.34–292.98) first-week letermovir, and 312.19 (95% CI: 279.39–344.99) second-week letermovir ( P Conclusion These results demonstrate a reduction in tacrolimus dosing requirements for patients receiving tacrolimus and letermovir with concomitant moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors. The results of this interaction suggest that frequent monitoring of tacrolimus trough levels is warranted when starting letermovir and that empiric reduction of tacrolimus dosing upon letermovir initiation should be considered.

Beyond switching to non-5FU-based chemotherapy, there are no established treatments for 5-FU associated coronary vasospam. Our objective was to assess the safety and efficacy of re-challenge with 5-FU after pre-treatment with calcium channel blockers (CCBs) and long-acting nitrates among patients 5-FU associated coronary vasospasm. Methods We conducted a retrospective study of patients with 5-FU coronary vasospasm at a single academic center. By protocol, those referred to cardio-oncology received pre-treatment with either combination [nitrates and CCBs] or single-agent therapy [nitrates or CCBs]) prior to re-challenge with 5-FU. Our primary outcome was overall survival. Other important outcomes included progression-free survival and safety. Results Among 6,606 patients who received 5-FU from January 2001 to Dec 2020, 115 (1.74%) developed coronary vasospasm. Of these 115 patients, 81 patients continued 5-FU therapy, while 34 stopped. Of the 81 who continued, 78 were referred to cardio-oncology and prescribed CCBs and/or nitrates prior to subsequent 5-FU, while the remaining 3 continued 5-FU without cardiac pre-treatment. Of the 78, 56.4% (44/78) received both nitrates and CCBs, 19.2% (15/78) received CCBs alone, and 24.4% (19/78) received nitrates alone. When compared to patients who stopped 5-FU, those who continued 5-FU after pre-treatment (single or combination therapy) had a decreased risk of death (HR 0.42, P = 0.005 [95% CI 0.23–0.77]) and a trend towards decreased cancer progression (HR 0.60, P = 0.08 [95% CI 0.34–1.06]). No patient in the pre-treatment group had a myocardial infarct after re-challenge; however, chest pain (without myocardial infarction) recurred in 19.2% (15/78) among those who received cardiac pre-treatment vs. 66.7% (2/3) among those who did not (P = 0.048). There was no difference in efficacy or the recurrence of vasospasm among patients who received pre-treatment with a single agent (nitrates or CCBs) or combination therapy (14.7% (5/34) vs. 25.0% (11/44), P = 0.26). Conclusion Re-challenge after pre-treatment with CCBs and nitrates guided by a cardio-oncology service was safe and allowed continued 5-FU therapy.

Background Hypercalcemia (HC) is a frequent complication of multiple myeloma (MM) occurring in 20-30% of patients. This is often associated with renal dysfunction and both features are important myeloma defining events resulting in significant morbidity and mortality. Denosumab, a fully human monoclonal antibody that inhibits RANKL, has been evaluated in the prevention of skeletal related events in patients with newly diagnosed MM, as well as the treatment of bisphosphonate-refractory HC of malignancy (HCM). Cases of denosumab for HCM in MM patients with renal dysfunction have been described. Both denosumab and IV bisphosphonates (IVB) represent treatment options for HC in MM. We describe a comparison of patients with MM with HC who received denosumab vs IVBs. Methods We retrospectively identified patients age ≥18 with a diagnosis of MM with HC (corrected serum calcium level [CSC] >10.5 mg/dL). Patients were included if they received either denosumab or IVB (zoledronic acid [ZA] or pamidronate), between April 2016 and June 2020. The primary endpoint was complete response (CR), defined as normalization of CSC to less than 10.5 mg/dL. Secondary endpoints included HC relapse (CSC >10.5 mg/dL) and safety. Hypocalcemia was graded per CTCAE v5. Acute kidney injury (AKI) was defined using KGIDO criteria. Patients were followed-up for 56 days. Bivariate analyses were performed. Results A total of 40 patients were included with 18 in the denosumab group and 22 in the IVB group, of whom 15 (68%) received ZA and 7 (32%) received pamidronate. Baseline characteristics are described in Table 1. Patients with newly diagnosed MM composed 33% and 55% of the denosumab and IVB groups, respectively. All patients in the denosumab group received 120 mg except one who received 60 mg, while in the IVB group, dose reductions occurred in 5/15 patients who received ZA (median dose, 4 mg; range, 3.3-4) and 4/7 patients who received pamidronate (median dose, 60 mg; range, 30-90). Most patients received HC treatment as an inpatient (58% inpatient vs. 42% outpatient). A minority of patients had received IVBs in the past 90 days. The mean CSC was 12.5 mg/dL (standard deviation [SD], 1.40) and 13.3 mg/dL (SD, 2.39) in the denosumab and IVB groups, respectively. Baseline serum creatinine (SCr) was higher and creatinine clearance (CrCl) was lower in the denosumab group (median SCr, 2.06 vs. 1.24 mg/dL, p=0.048; median CrCl, 33 vs. 48 mL/min, p=0.048). The CR rate by day 3-4 was 92% and 94% in the denosumab and IVB groups, respectively (p=NS). HC relapse occurred in 2 (12%) and 6 (29%) patients in the denosumab and IVB groups, respectively (p=0.257). Incidence of grade 1 hypocalcemia was similar between groups; however, incidence of grade ≥2 hypocalcemia was higher in the denosumab group. Incidence of new AKI was 28% (5/18) in the denosumab group 23% (5/22) in the IVB group (p=0.71). No patients in the denosumab group received an additional dose of denosumab within 14 days of initial dose. Three patients in the IVB group received an additional dose of an IVB within 14 days of initial dose. One patient, who was in the denosumab group, had refractory hypercalcemia and had not achieved CR at day 56. Conclusions We describe our experience with denosumab and IVB for the management of HC in patients with MM. The CR rate at 3-4 days was similar with either agent in our MM only population that was not bisphosphonate refractory. A higher incidence of grade 2 hypocalcemia was noted in the denosumab group. Conclusions on renal safety are limited by the small sample size and that patients in the denosumab group had a higher SCr on presentation. Denosumab and IVB represent acceptable agents for the management of HC in MM patients with further investigation necessary in those with renal dysfunction. We describe the use of denosumab for hypercalcemia of malignancy in a multiple myeloma only patient population that is not bisphosphonate refractory. The use of denosumab for these patients was part of normal clinical practice in adherence to institutional policies and guidelines.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of all patients at Massachusetts General Hospital who were diagnosed with 5-FU coronary vasospasm. As part of institutional practice, those referred to cardio-oncology receive pre-treatment with vasospasm therapies (either combination [nitrates and CCBs] or single agent therapy [nitrates or CCBs]) prior to re-challenge with 5-FU. Our primary outcomes were the safety and effectiveness of this cardiac pre-treatment approach. Results: Among 7,711 patients who received 5-FU from Jan 2001 to Jul 2017, 86 (1.11%) developed coronary vasospasm. Overall 64 patients continued to receive subsequent 5-FU, while 22 stopped. Of the 64 who continued, 60 were referred to cardio-oncology and prescribed CCBs and/or nitrates prior to subsequent 5-FU. Of these 60, 52% (31/60) received both nitrates and CCBs, 20% (12/60) received CCBs alone, and 28% (17/60) received nitrates alone, while 4 continued 5-FU without cardiac pre-treatment. Chest pain (without a myocardial infarct) recurred in 11.7% (7/60) among those who received cardiac pre-treatment vs. 50% (2/4) among those who did not (P=0.033). When those who stopped were compared to those who continued 5-FU (with cardiac pre-treatment), the cardiovascular profile, stage and type of cancer were similar. As compared to patients who stopped 5-FU, those who continued after nitrates/CCBs had improved progression free (HR 0.56, P=0.076 [95% CI 0.30-1.06]) and overall (HR 0.29, P Conclusion: In the largest report of 5-FU associated vasospasm, re-challenge after pre-treatment with CCBs and nitrates was safe and effective, thus allowing patients to receive additional 5-FU.

84 Background: We evaluated the impact of baseline sarcopenia on hematologic toxicity, treatment intensity, and healthcare utilization in patients with mCRC receiving FOLFOX or FOLFIRI. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed patients with mCRC who received care at our institution from 1/2011-11/2018 and were part of a biobanking protocol. Included adults received either first-line palliative FOLFOX- or FOLFIRI-based regimens and were followed for 6 months. We categorized sarcopenia based on skeletal muscle index measured at diagnosis of metastatic disease and pre-defined sex-specific cutoff values (F < 39 cm2/m2, M < 55cm2/m2). Our primary aim was to evaluate the association of sarcopenia and hematologic toxicity, defined as the incidence of grade ≥3 (G≥3) neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, or anemia (NCI CTCAE v5.0). Secondary endpoints included treatment intensity (dose reductions, treatment delays, relative-dose intensity [RDI]), and healthcare utilization (ED visits and/or hospitalizations). Bivariate analyses were used to evaluate associations between baseline sarcopenia and outcomes. Results: 126 of 177 screened patients met inclusion criteria (70 (56%) males, median age 61 yrs (range, 29-85)). 59 (46.8%) patients were sarcopenic. More patients received FOLFOX than FOLFIRI (92 [73.0%] vs. 34 [27.0%]). At baseline, patients had a median weight 76.9kg (IQR, 70.0-90.4 kg), BMI 26.6 kg/m2 (IQR, 24.1-30.5 kg/m2), and BSA 1.90 m2 (IQR, 1.72-2.01 m2). The incidence of G≥3 hematologic toxicity was 39.0% vs. 23.9% in sarcopenic and non-sarcopenic patients, respectively (p = 0.06). Patients with sarcopenia experienced higher incidence of G≥3 neutropenia (30.5% vs. 14.9%, p = 0.03), while G≥3 thrombocytopenia was similar (3.4% vs. 1.5%). The incidence of dose reductions and treatment delays did not differ significantly (86.4% vs. 89.5%, 72.9% vs. 71.6%, respectively). RDI was decreased for the 5FU bolus (52.5% vs. 65.0%, p = 0.02). Rates of ED visits (32.2% vs. 19.4%, p = 0.10) and hospitalizations (32.2% vs. 26.9%, p = 0.51) did not differ compared between patients with and without sarcopenia. Conclusions: Patients with mCRC and baseline sarcopenia receiving FOLFOX- or FOLFIRI experienced a higher incidence of G≥3 neutropenia and lower 5FU bolus treatment intensity. Studies are needed to understand how best to adjust treatment according to patients’ muscle mass.

N, N-diethyl-meta-toluamide (DEET) is an insect repellent currently used by millions of people since 1956. DEET has an excellent safety profile and has remarkable protection against mosquitoes, ticks and various other arthropods. Toxicity is unusual, and is generally associated with incorrect, or overuse of the product. We report a patient with severe toxicity following inhalational exposure to a "bug bomb". containing 98% DEET.

2655 Background: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have revolutionized the treatment of cancer with significantly improved outcomes, but these agents have a unique spectrum of toxicities known as immune-related adverse events (irAEs). The recommended treatment for non-endocrine toxicities is steroid based. However, a subset of patients (pts) is steroid-refractory and requires second-line immunosuppression. There is very little evidence regarding this population. In this retrospective study we report the 1) incidence 2) type of treatment used 3) natural history and 4) potential predictors of steroid-refractory irAE at a major academic medical center. Methods: The Research Patient Database Registry at Mass General Brigham was used to identify pts treated with an ICI from 1/5/2017 to 6/1/2019. Pharmaceutical records identified a subset of the cohort received a second-line immunosuppressive agent within a 15-month period after ICI. For pts with steroid-refractory irAE additional information was collected: demographics, ICI regimen, type/#/and severity of irAE, clinical characteristics, # of admissions, length of stay (LOS), amount and duration of steroid therapy, second line immunosuppression type, treatment discontinuation rates, response, and outcome of re-challenge. Multivariate logistic regressions were used to predict risk of refractory toxicity and study the association of different variables (age, sex, race, marital status, cancer and ICI types) with refractory toxicities. Results: We identified 61 pts (1.4%) with steroid-refractory irAEs (48 colitis, 4 myocarditis, 6 pneumonitis, 3 neurologic) out of the total ICI cohort (N=4,325). 60.7% received ICI monotherapy. 24.6% received ICI in the adjuvant setting. Median length of steroid duration was 68 days with max of 1135 days. Despite use of second line immunosuppression, 25.8% of pts were never able to discontinue steroids. Majority of pts (72.1%) had at least one hospitalization with median LOS of 7.5 days. 93.4% of pts permanently discontinued the ICI responsible for the irAE. Thirteen pts (21.3%) were later re-challenged with ICI and 7 (53.8%) of these developed a subsequent irAE. O luto é um processo natural e esperado diante do rompimento de um vínculo significativo. Socialmente ainda é desconsiderado o pesar perante a perda gestacional/neonatal, sendo uma categoria de Luto Não Reconhecido. Os homens são socialmente incitados a evitar suas emoções e a não entrar em contato com seus sentimentos, existindo a ideia de que eles não se enlutem pela perda de um(a) filho(a) no período gestacional/neonatal. O presente estudo pretendeu pesquisar a vivência de homens sobre o luto na perda de um(a) filho(a) no período gestacional/neonatal. Para isso, foi realizada, inicialmente, uma revisão da literatura de estudos do tema, na qual foram encontrados poucos registros sobre o assunto, os existentes sendo internacionais. Após essa etapa, foi realizado um estudo exploratório por meio de 10 entrevistas semi-estruturadas, baseadas em um roteiro previamente delineado. Foram realizadas 3 entrevistas piloto. A análise dos resultados foi feita a partir do Método de Explicitação do Discurso Subjacente (MEDS). Do discurso dos sujeitos emergiram 8 categorias de análise: Foi perda mesmo… e eu também senti; Cuide dela e segure firme, porque você precisa ser forte!; Não vamos falar sobre isso; Algo mudou entre nós; Ritual: um momento singular, para uma experiência singular; Algumas coisas tornaram esta experiência mais fácil… Outras coisas a tornaram ainda mais difícil; Existe um sentido para o que eu vivi; No futuro eu quero... Como resultado destaca-se o fato de os homens sentirem diversas emoções profundas ante a perda de um filho no período gestacional/neonatal, ainda que, muitas vezes, não encontrem um suporte social efetivo. Em relação aos rituais de despedida, os homens encontram-se divididos quanto a sua realização. Entretanto, o relacionamento conjugal parece ser a fonte de apoio necessária para vivenciar as emoções e saírem fortalecidos dessa experiência. A maioria dos homens parece ter conseguido encontrar um sentido para suas experiências, percebendo que são pessoas melhores após perderem os(as) seus(uas) filhos(as). A partir da perda, muitos têm uma perspectiva de futuro e de reconstrução de suas vidas, desejando ter mais filhos ou mudar de cidade. Ficou evidente que, quando existe a oportunidade, os homens falam abertamente sobre como foi, para eles, a experiência de perder os(as) seus(uas) filhos(as). Mourning is a natural and expected process in the face of breaking a meaningful bond. Socially it is still disregarded the regret against gestational/neonatal loss, being a category of Unrecognized Grief. Men are socially urged to avoid their emotions and not to get in touch with their feelings, and there is the idea that they do not get involved in the loss of a child in the gestational/neonatal period. The present study aimed to investigate the experience of mourning in the loss of a son/daughter in the gestational/neonatal period. For this, a literature review was initially carried out in which few studies on the subject were found, all of which are international. After this step, an exploratory study was carried out through 10 semi-structured interviews, based on a previously delineated script. Two pilot interviews were held. The analysis of the results was made from the Explanation Method of the Underlying Discourse (MEDS). From the discourse of the subjects emerged 8 categories of analysis: It was loss even ... and I also felt; Take care of her and hold it tight, because you have to be strong !; Let s not talk about it; Something has changed between us; Ritual: a singular moment for a singular experience; Some things have made this experience easier... Other things have made it even more difficult; There is a sense to what I have lived; In the future I want to ... As a result, the fact that men feel several deep emotions about the loss of a child in the gestational/neonatal period is highlighted, although often they do not find effective social support. Regarding the farewell rituals, men are divided as to their accomplishment. However, the marital relationship seems to be the source of support needed to experience the emotions and come out strengthened from this experience. Most men seem to have managed to find meaning in their experiences, feeling that they are better people after losing their children. From the loss many of them have a future perspective and reconstruction of their lives, desiring to have more children or change to another city. It became clear that when there is an opportunity, men openly talk about how it was for them the experience of losing their children.

Early subclinical inflammation in kidney transplants is associated with later graft fibrosis and dysfunction. Regulatory T cells (Tregs) can reverse established inflammation in animal models. We conducted a pilot safety and feasibility trial of autologous Treg cell therapy in three kidney transplant recipients with subclinical inflammation noted on 6-month surveillance biopsies. Tregs were purified from peripheral blood and polyclonally expanded ex vivo using medium containing deuterated glucose to label the cells. All patients received a single infusion of ~320 × 106 (319, 321, and 363.8 × 106 ) expanded Tregs. Persistence of the infused Tregs was tracked. Graft inflammation was monitored with follow-up biopsies and urinary biomarkers. Nearly 1 × 109 (0.932, 0.956, 1.565 × 109 ) Tregs were successfully manufactured for each patient. There were no infusion reactions or serious therapy-related adverse events. The infused cells demonstrated patterns of persistence and stability similar to those observed in non-immunosuppressed subjects receiving the same dose of Tregs. Isolation and expansion of Tregs is feasible in kidney transplant patients on immunosuppression. Infusion of these cells was safe and well tolerated. As queimaduras representam um agravo significativo à saúde pública do Brasil. Diversos fatores devem ser considerados para a avaliação da gravidade da queimadura, tais como: o percentual da área de superfície corporal queimada, entre outros. O objetivo desse estudo é apresentar as condutas de enfermagem a serem tomadas no atendimento ao grande e pequeno queimado. Queimadura pode ser definida como uma lesão dos tecidos orgânicos em decorrência de trauma de origem térmica, química, elétrica ou radiativa, podendo destruir parcial ou totalmente a pele e seus anexos, e até atingir camadas mais profundas, como tecido subcutâneo, músculo, tendões e ossos. A assistência de enfermagem prestada ao paciente queimado exige que o enfermeiro tenha alto nível de conhecimento científico sobre as alterações fisiológicas que ocorrem no organismo após uma queimadura. Os primeiros cuidados adequados dispensados à vítima de queimadura constituem determinante fundamental no êxito final do tratamento, contribuindo decisivamente para a redução da morbidade e da mortalidade. Este artigo aponta a relevância de também considerar a localização da população e os processos de mobilidade espacial como componentes significativos da constituição do espaço urbano. Entre os processos de mobilidade espacial, destaca-se o papel dos movimentos pendulares para trabalho. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar a distribuição da população e os padrões de movimentos cotidianos para trabalho na Região Norte Fluminense nos anos 2000. Essa região tem experimentado, nas últimas décadas, transformações expressivas na organização territorial em decorrência do desenvolvimento das atividades petrolíferas e, mais recentemente, das perspectivas em relação à instalação de um complexo portuário. Através da exploração de dados censitários de 2000 e 2010 sobre distribuição e crescimento populacional, movimentos migratórios e pendulares, buscou-se traçar um quadro da dinâmica populacional regional, especialmente na sua relação com as transformações no mercado de trabalho. Para isso, foram analisados os volumes e taxas da população que reside e trabal ha nos municípios da região, aqueles que saem para o trabalho e os que entram – para estes últimos analisouse também sua participação por setores da atividade econômica, a fim de avaliar o perfil de atratividade dos municípios. Os resultados indicam aumento expressivo do movimento pendular na região.
