North Anatolian Fault Zone (NAFZ) is one of the most wide strike-slip faults in the world. It starts from the north of the Eagan Sea, namely Saros Gulf and extends to the east of Turkey, namely Karlıova, Bingöl. Various scientific studies based on GNSS and different techniques have been conducted on NAFZ. At the region, where is located at the center of NAFZ, several provinces, particularly Tokat and Amasya, and then some parts of Çorum, Ordu and Samsun, are the areas where tectonic activities occur significantly. Since the earthquakes happened between 1900 and 2021 have been considered, it can be seen that intense tectonic activities on the region have occurred. The aim of this study is to model the existing tectonic structure of the region with analysis based on GNSS observations. In this context, the study area to be subjected to the study is situated between latitudes of 39 and 41.5 degrees N and longitudes of 34 and 39 degreesE as including the wholes of Tokat and Amasya, some parts of Çorum, Ordu and Samsun. In order to prove the tectonic structure of the region, an optimum network including 32 stations, which the stations are the current stations involved in Turkish National Fundamental GPS Network (TUTGA) and CORS-TR network was designed in the study area. The data between 2009 and 2021 have been examined. The data evaluations and analysis of GNSS observations will be performed by Bernese v5.2 software. WOS: 000522788700011, In this study, the moderator role of perceived match-up between the celebrity and the product on the effect of identification on the attitude towads ad and purchase intention was examined. the research model was tested on the sample collected from 513 participants over the age of 18 on Facebook. Analyzes carried out using SPSS and AMOS indicated that wishful identification has an effect on attitudes towards advertising, while the perception of similarity based on belief, attitude, value like criteria has no effect on the any of the variables. It has also been revealed that the most of the coefficients significantly increased in the high celebrity-product match-up condition. Attitude towards the brand is also the main indicator in the purchase intent.

Purpose: After failure of the first-line sorafenib treatment in advanced or metastatic stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), regorafenib is one of the newly-approved targeted agents. We aimed to evaluate the efficacy of regorafenib in patients with advanced HCC treated in the secondor third-line setting. Methods: In this retrospective and multicenter study, advanced HCC patients not eligible for local therapies, who received a secondor third-line regorafenib therapy after progression on the first-line sorafenib or sequential therapy with chemotherapy (CT) followed by sorafenib, were included. Results: In the first-line setting, 28 (28.9%) patients received CT and 69 (71.1%) patients received sorafenib. There were 24 (24.7%) patients who were intolerant to sorafenib. Disease control rate (DCR) was 53.6% for all patients treated with regorafenib, 62.3% in patients who received regorafenib in the second-line, and 32.1% for those receiving regorafenib in the third-line (p=0.007). Median progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) were 5.6 (range; 4.3-6.9) and 8.8 (range, 6.3-11.3) months for all patients treated with regorafenib vs. 7.1 months and 10.3 months for patients who received regorafenib in the second-line vs. 5.1 and 8.7 months for patients who received regorafenib in the third-line, respectively; however, there was no statistically significant difference (p(PFS)=0.22 and p(OS)=0.85). Conclusion: Although receiving CT as a first-line therapy in advanced HCC patients did not affect the survival rates of subsequent regorafenib therapy, it might diminish the DCR of regorafenib. Pea3 transcription factor belongs to the PEA3 subfamily within the ETS domain transcription factor superfamily, and has been largely studied in relation to its role in breast cancer metastasis. Nonetheless, Pea3 plays a role not only in breast tumor, but also in other tissues with branching morphogenesis, including kidneys, blood vasculature, bronchi and the developing nervous system. Identification of Pea3 target promoters in these systems are important for a thorough understanding of how Pea3 functions. Present study particularly focuses on the identification of novel neuronal targets of Pea3 in a combinatorial approach, through curation, computational analysis and microarray studies in a neuronal model system, SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells. We not only show that quite a number of genes in cancer, immune system and cell cycle pathways, among many others, are either up- or down-regulated by Pea3, but also identify novel targets including ephrins and ephrin receptors, semaphorins, cell adhesion molecules, as well as metalloproteases such as kallikreins, to be among potential target promoters in neuronal systems. Our overall results indicate that rather than early stages of neurite extension and axonal guidance, Pea3 is more involved in target identification and synaptic maturation. © 2017 Kandemir et al. Hyoid bone fractures due to blunt trauma are exceedingly rare. Here, we present an isolated hyoid bone fracture caused by blunt trauma as well as a detailed discussion of the injury and treatment options. A 32-year-old male was admitted to emergency department with odynophagia and severe neck pain. He had been hit in the neck with a metal rod during a fight. Computed tomography scan revealed a fracture on hyoid bone and local swelling of adjacent soft tissues. The patient's head was elevated, and ice packs were used to reduce the swelling. Diclofenac sodium and prednisolone were administered. Patient was discharged with a recommendation of out-patient control. Odynophagia, dysphagia and dyspnoea should alert the physician to possible hyoid or laryngeal damage. Fibre optic laryngoscopy and neck CT are important diagnostic steps to reveal a possible life-threatening injury. Conservative treatment is usually adequate, and patients rarely require surgical intervention. © 2015, Pakistan Medical Association. All rights reserved.

Pea3 subfamily of E-twenty six transcription factors consist of three major -exhibit branching morphogenesis, the function of Pea3 family in nervous system development and regeneration is only beginning to unfold. In this study, we provide evidence that Pea3 can directs neurite extension and axonal outgrowth in different model systems, and that Serine 90 is important for this function. Transcription factors (TFs) are the proteins which regulates the expression of their target genes either in a positive or negative manner. TFs realize this task by binding to a specific DNA sequence contained in promoter regions, via their DNA binding motifs. Among ETS family TFs, Pea3 proteins are involved in the regulation of expression of genes, which are important for cell growth, development, differentiation, oncogenic transformation and apoptosis. In silico studies should be done to find out the novel target genes for this TF. Even though a few bioinformatics tools are available for this purpose, the user needs to go back and forth between different tools, and to repeat these steps for each of their candidate gene. Here we combined these tools and constituted a new tool which examines the affinity of any TF towards the selected target genes' promoter sequences. The tool is tested on several genes, which are predicted to be regulated by Pea3 TF. © 2011 IEEE.
