In this study, it was aimed to examine the play interactions with the children of families with special needs in Western Thrace. The research was designed as a case study from qualitative research methods. The study group of the research consists of 10 families with special needs children between the ages of 3-10 in Western Thrace. The semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher in consultation with the experts regarding the opinions of the participants on the research subject was used as the data collection tool in the study, and the "play skills evaluation list" was used to evaluate playing skills of the families. It has been concluded that play choices are play that their children enjoy and play the children want, the points they pay attention to in their game choices are the development of their children, play that children prefer, the communication they establish in the play is more conversational, and they terminate the play if problem behaviors occurs. In evaluating the behaviors of the families in free play, the majority of the families invite their children to the play before, they do not give their children the opportunity to examine the materials before starting the play, they do not make eye contact in communication, they use the turn-taking skill, they pay attention to their children's preferences in the play, they leave the speed of the play to the child,they followed the clues given by the child in the play, chatted in the play instead of asking questions in their verbal communication, did not interfere with their children in play, allowed them to solve problems, praised their correct behaviors, and at the same time changed the role of play. The findings obtained were interpreted in accordance with the relevant literature and recommendations were presented., Bu araştırmada Batı Trakya’da bulunan özel gereksinimli çocuğa sahip Türk ailelerin çocukları ile olan oyun etkileşimlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması olarak desenlenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Batı Trakya’da 3-10 yaş arasında özel gereksinimli çocuğa sahip 10 aile oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ve ailelerin oyun becerilerini değerlendirmeye yönelik “oyun becerileri değerlendirme listesi” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler, nitel analiz yöntemlerinden betimsel analiz yoluyla analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada görüşme soruları ve gözlem sonuçlarına göre ailelerin gün içerisindeki etkinliklerinin farklı oyunlar olduğu, oyun seçimlerinde çocuklarının isteklerini takip ettikleri, oyun seçimlerinde dikkat ettikleri noktaların çocuklarının gelişimi olduğu, oyun içerisindeki problem davranışların oluşması durumunda oyunu çoğunlukla sonlandırdıklarını sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Ailelerin serbest oyun içerisindeki davranışlarının değerlendirmesinde ailelerin çoğunluğunun çocuklarını oyun öncesinde oyuna davet ettikleri, oyuna geçmeden önce ailelerin çocuklarının materyalleri incelemesine fırsat vermedikleri, iletişimde göz kontağı kurmadıkları, oyun içerisinde sıra alma becerisini kullandıkları, çocuklarının oyun içerisindeki tercihlerini önemsedikleri, oyunun hızını çocuğa bıraktıkları, oyunda çocuğun verdiği ipuçlarını takip ettikleri, sözel iletişimlerin soru sormak yerine oyuna uygun sohbet ettikleri, çocukları ile oyunda güç müdahalesine girmedikleri, çocuklarının problem çözmesine izin verdikleri, doğru davranışlarını övdükleri ve aynı zamanda oyun rol değişimi yaptıkları sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular ilgili literatür doğrultusunda yorumlanmış ve öneriler sunulmuştur.

The superior cluneal nerve (SCN) is a sensory nerve known to be originated from the dorsal rami of the lower thoracic and lumbar nerve roots. One of the overlooked causes of low back pain (LBP) is the SCN Entrapment Neuropathy (SCNEN). SCNEN may also be associated with SCN stretching due to lumbar movement and the poor body posture through an increase in the paravertebral muscle tonus. A 59-year-old female patient presented with chronic LBP localized on the right iliac crest and radiating to the right buttock, groin, and leg. She had increased lumbar lordosis and anterior pelvic tilt. She had a tender point over the right iliac crest, and the pain was radiating to the buttock and posterolateral thigh (Tinel sign +). She was diagnosed with lower crossed syndrome and SCNEN, and a therapeutic nerve block was performed. Clinicians should consider SCNEN as a possible diagnosis of LBP.

This study aims to reveal the lived experiences of teachers with visual impairments (VI) in the inclusion of students with VI. In this phenomenological study, data were collected from 8 teachers with VI through semi-structured interviews and analyzed by content analysis using a qualitative software program named MAXQDA20. The six themes identified from the content analysis were underlying issues in inclusion, personal guidance of teachers on students with VI, critical evaluation of inclusion, from diagnosis to the IEP implementation, the appropriate model of education for students with VI, and teachers' sense of inclusion. The findings revealed that teachers with VI contributed to the inclusion of students with VI. Furthermore, they emphasized system-related issues preventing inclusive practices and made critical evaluations concerning practices in inclusive settings. Based on the findings, inclusive classrooms and resource rooms should be equipped with educational tools (i.e., the braille alphabet, assistive technologies, tactile graphs and maps), teaching staff and their training should be enhanced, and school buildings should be designed as physically accessible and supervised by special education teachers who have expertise in VI or experience in working with students with VI.

Bu çalışma, Türkiye’de Hemşirelik Esasları alanında simülasyon ile ilgili yapılan lisansüstü tezlerin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini Ağustos-Eylül 2021 tarihlerinde “simülasyon”, “simülatör”, “standart hasta”, “standardize hasta”, “simüle hasta” ve “senaryo” anahtar sözcükleri kullanılarak “Yükseköğretim Kurulu Ulusal Tez Merkezi” veri tabanında yıl sınırlaması olmaksızın hemşirelik alanında yapılan çalışmalar oluşturmuştur. Anahtar sözcükler kullanılarak, yapılan tarama sonucunda 49 kayıtlı teze ulaşılmış bu tezlerden araştırma kriterlerini karşılayan 18 lisansüstü tez inceleme kapsamına alınmıştır. İnceleme sonucunda Hemşirelik Esasları alanında simülasyon ile ilgili ilk lisansüstü tez çalışmasının 2014 yılında yapıldığı ve yıllar içinde artarak devam ettiği görülmektedir. Tezlerin yarısından fazlasının (n:11) doktora tezi olduğu, büyük çoğunluğunun deneysel tasarımda yapıldığı (n:14), tezlerin neredeyse tamamının örneklem grubunu hemşirelik öğrencilerinin (n:16) oluşturduğu ve tezlerin yarısının (n:9) simülasyonun psikomotor öğrenme alanına etkisini incelediği belirlenmiştir. Simülasyonun ülkemizde Hemşirelik Esasları alanında kullanımı artarak devam etmekle birlikte, hala istendik düzeyde değildir. Ayrıca simülasyon uygulamasının sadece öğrenciler ile değil hemşireler ile de çalışılması gerektiği özellikle de mesleğe yeni başlayan hemşireler ile oryantasyon eğitimlerinde simülasyona yer verilmesi gerektiği düşünülmektedir., This study was carried out to examine the postgraduate theses about simulation in the field of fundamentals of nursing in Turkey. In the population of the systematic analysis/review study, researchers in the field of nursing in the database "National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education" between August-September 2021 using the keywords "simulation", "simulator", "standard patient", "standardized patient", "simulated patient" and "scenario". As a result of the search made by using keywords, 49 registered theses were reached and 18 postgraduate theses meeting the research criteria were included in extent of the investigation. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that the first postgraduate thesis study on simulation in the field of fundamentals of nursing was made in 2014 and it has continued to increase over the years. It was found that more than half of the theses (n:11) were doctoral theses, the majority of them were made in experimental design (n:14), the sample group of almost all the theses was nursing students (n:16), and half of the theses (n:9) investigated the effect of simulation on psychomotor learning. Although the use of simulation in the field of fundamentals of nursing in our country continues to increase, it is still not at the desired level. It is considered that simulation application should be studied not only with students but also with nurses, and simulation should be included in orientation trainings, especially with nurses who are new to the profession.

Giriş: Bu çalışmada, otizm spektrum bozukluğu (OSB) olan birden fazla çocuğa sahip annelerin deneyimlerinin derinlemesine incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.Yöntem: Yorumlayıcı fenomenolojik analiz çalışması olarak desenlenen çalışmaya OSB olan birden fazla çocuğa sahip dokuz anne katılmış ve veriler yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşmeler yoluyla toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde annelerin kişisel söylemlerinin ve duygusal yansımalarının derinlemesine ortaya konabilmesi için yorumlayıcı fenomenolojik analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır.Bulgular: Analiz sonucunda yaşamın merkezi: İki otizmli çocuk annesi olmak, gittikçe artan izolasyon ve güçlenme çabaları olmak üzere üç ana temaya ulaşılmıştır. Bulgulara göre anneler yaşamlarını OSB olan çocuklarını merkeze alarak sürdürmekte ve sosyal yaşam içinde gittikçe yalnızlaşmaktadırlar. Anneler, günlük yaşamlarını sürdürmekte zorlanmakta, yoğun bir gelecek endişesi yaşamakta, ihtiyaç duydukları destek kaynaklarından yoksun olduklarını düşünmekte ve OSB olan birden fazla çocuk sahibi olmanın eşleri ile olan ilişkileri ve sosyal ağlarında yalnızlıklarını arttıracak dönüşümlere yol açtığını hissetmektedirler. Bunun yanında anneler güçlenmek için çeşitli stratejiler geliştirmektedirler. Bu stratejiler dini inançlar, çocuklarını birbirleri ile veya daha yoğun yetersizliği olan çocuklarla kıyaslamak ve çocuklarının küçük başarılarına odaklanmak şeklinde ortaya çıkmıştır.Tartışma: Konu ile ilgili sınırlı çalışma olmakla birlikte OSB tanılı birden fazla çocuğu olan annelerin deneyimleri, yetersizliği olan birden fazla çocuğa sahip veya OSB tanılı bir çocuğu olan annelerin deneyimlerini araştıran çalışma bulguları ile benzerlik göstermektedir.Sonuç ve Öneriler: OSB olan birden fazla çocuğa sahip olan anneler bir yandan yoğun bir sosyal izolasyon yaşayıp “annelik rolünü” yaşamlarının merkezine alırken bir yandan da kendilerini güçlü kılmak zorunda hissetmekte ve bunun için bazı stratejiler geliştirmektedirler. Araştırma bulgularına göre OSB olan birden fazla çocuğa sahip annelerin yaşamlarını kolaylaştıracak düzenlemeler gerektiği ve annelerin deneyimlerinin daha büyük katılımcı sayısı ile yapılacak çalışmalarla incelenmesi önerilmektedir., Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the experiences of mothers of multiple children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).Method: Nine mothers of multiple children with ASD participated in the research, designed as an interpretative phenomenological analysis study, and data were collected through semi-structured interviews. In the data analysis, the interpretative phenomenological analysis method was employed to reveal the mothers’ personal statements and emotional reflections in depth.Findings: As a result of the analysis, three main themes were reached, the center of life: Being a mother of two children with autism, gradually increasing isolation, and empowerment attempts. In line with the findings, mothers continue their lives by putting their children with ASD at the center, and they become increasingly lonely in social life. Mothers experience difficulty in maintaining their daily lives, have intense worries about the future, think that they lack the support resources they need, and feel that having multiple children with ASD causes transformations in their relationships with their spouses and their social networks, which will increase their loneliness. Furthermore, mothers develop various strategies to empower themselves. These strategies have emerged as religious beliefs, comparing their children with each other or with children with more severe disabilities, and focusing on the minor achievements of their children.Discussion: There are few studies on the subject, and the experiences of mothers of multiple children with ASD are similar to the findings of research investigating the experiences of mothers of multiple children with disabilities or mothers of a child with ASD.Conclusion and Recommendations: Whereas mothers of multiple children with ASD experience intense social isolation and put the “motherhood role” at the center of their lives, on the one side, they feel obliged to empower themselves and develop some strategies to this end, on the other side. According to the study findings, it is suggested that arrangements are needed to facilitate the lives of mothers of multiple children with ASD and the experiences of mothers should be examined with studies to be performed with a larger number of participants.

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nun dağılma süreci olan 19. yüzyılın sonu ile 20. yüzyılın ilk çeyreğinde yaşamış olan Mehmet Akif Ersoy'un içinde bulunduğu toplumdaki değişimi nasıl bir okumaya tabi tuttuğunu sosyolojik yaklaşımlar üzerinden anlamaya çalışmaktır. Araştırma toplumsal değişimin çeşitli yapılardaki değişimini ve farklılaşmayı ele alarak, bu değişimlerin gözlemlenebilen bir olgu olduğunu iddia etmektedir. Toplumsal değerlerden hareketle sosyal değişimi okumak, var olan değişimin yönünü saptamak açısından oldukça önemli olduğu gibi değerden bağımsız bir sosyoloji yapmanın imkânsızlığını da ortaya koymaktadır. Araştırmanın en çok üzerinde durduğu konu, Mehmet Akif'in düşüncelerinin serlevhası olan Safahat'ın bütününe yayılmış olan toplumsal değerlerde yaşanan değişimlerdir. Akif bu değerleri dönemin içinde bulunduğu siyasi, sosyal ve kültürel çözülmeler üzerinden okumaktadır. Ona göre değişimin yapıcısı, aktif kurucusu olan özne insandır. Onun aktif özne olarak tanımladığı insan, kendi eylemlerinin sonucunu üstlenen sorumluluk sahibi aktif bir iradeye karşılık gelmektedir. Bu irade her bireyde ayrı ayrı tezahür edebileceği gibi toplumun kendisinde de kolektif bir biçimde görülebilmektedir. Bu manada Akif, bireysel eylem ve iradenin, toplumsal eylem ve iradeyi beslediği bir değişim anlayışını benimsemektedir. Safahat'ta ele alınan manzumeler, geldiği topluma yeniden inşa fikri üzerinden güçlü bir özeleştiri imkânı sunmakla birlikte bütüncül yaklaşımıyla her toplumun içinde bulunduğu kopuşa cevap veren bir "süreklilik" ve "yenilenme" fikirlerini barındırmaktadır. The main purpose of this study is to try to understand with which motives, Mehmet Akif Ersoy, who lived between the end of the 19th century and the first quarter of the 20th century; which was the disintegration period of the Ottoman Empire, read the change in society through sociological approaches. The research claims that social change is an observable phenomenon by addressing the change and differentiation that occur over time in groups. Reading social change based on social values is very important in terms of determining the current direction of change and this also reveals the impossibility of making sociology detached of value. The most emphasized subject of the study is the changes experienced in values, which is one of the factors affecting social change, and can also be read in the whole of Safahat, the title of Mehmet Akif's thoughts. Akif reads these values through the political, social and cultural dissolutions of the period. According to him, the subject who is the reason, maker, and active founder of change is human. The human, whom he defines as an active subject, corresponds to a responsible active will that takes on the result of its own actions. This will can be manifested in each individual separately, as well as collectively in the social structure itself. In this sense, the poems in the Safahat of Mehmet Akif Ersoy which adopt the understanding of change in which the individual actions feed the social actions and individual will feed the social will, offer a serious self-criticism opportunity to their own age, while assuming a social constructive function, and at the same time they also contain the idea of "continuity" and "renewal" that respond to the rupture in which every society and every age goes through.

Amaç: Bu çalışmada, Hasta Teslimi Değerlendirme Ölçeği’nin Türkçe formunun geçerlilik ve güvenilirliğinin incelenmesi amaçlandı. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Metodolojik olarak yapılan bu çalışmanın örneklemini 163 hemşire oluşturdu. Araştırmanın verileri Kasım 2017 ve Temmuz 2018 tarihleri arasında “Hemşire Bilgi Formu” ve “Hasta Teslim Değerlendirme Ölçeği” kullanılarak toplandı. Yapı geçerliliği için açıklayıcı faktör analizi ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapıldı. İç tutarlılık, Cronbach alfa katsayısı ile değerlendirildi. Hoffa hastalığı, ön diz ağrısının önemli nedenlerinden biridir.Ön diz ağrısı; patella, eklem kapsülü, sinovyal plika, patellar tendonapofizi, iliotibial bant, femoral kondil ve yağ yastıkçığı kaynaklı olarakgörülebilir. Ön diz ağrısı, %70-90 oranında kronikleşebilmektedir. Dizçevresinde birçok yağ yastıkçığı bulunmaktadır. Dizin ön bölümünde;anterior suprapatellar (kuadriseps), infrapatellar (Hoffa) ve posteriorsuprapatellar (prefemoral) olarak 3 adet yağ yastıkçığı bulunmaktadır.Hoffa hastalığı, diz eklemi içinde bulunan 3 yastıkçıktan 1’i olan infrapatellar yağ yastıkçığının inflamasyonu ile karakterize klinik bir durumdur. Yumuşak dokuların incelenmesi için ileri görüntüleme tetkikleriönerilmektedir. Hoffa hastalığı tanısı, klinik ve manyetik rezonans görüntüleme yöntemi ile konulmaktadır. Ön diz ağrısına neden olan diğerklinik durumlarla karışabildiğinden sıklıkla gözden kaçmaktadır. Bu yazıda, Hoffa hastalığı tanısı konulan ve duloksetin ile başarılı bir şekildetedavi edilen 63 yaşındaki kadın hasta sunulmaktadır.&nbsp
