This paper deals with the existence and uniqueness of the mild solution of the fractional integro-differential equations with non-instantaneous impulses and state-dependent delay. Our arguments are based on the fixed point theory. Finally, an example to confirm of the results is provided.

Abstract In this paper, we establish the existence and uniqueness of a solution for a class of initial value problems for implicit fractional differential equations with Caputo fractional derivative. The arguments are based upon the Banach contraction principle, the nonlinear alternative of Leray–Schauder type and Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem. As applications, two examples are included to show the applicability of our results.

In this paper, we aim to revisit some non-unique fixed point theorems that were initiated by Ćirić, first. We consider also some natural consequences of the obtained results. In addition, we provide a simple example to illustrate the validity of the main result.

Abstract This article proposes four distinct kinds of symmetric contraction in the framework of complete F-metric spaces. We examine the condition to guarantee the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point for these contractions. As an application, we look for the solutions to fractional boundary value problems involving a generalized fractional derivative known as the fractional derivative with respect to another function.

In this paper, we present a result of stability, data Dependency and errors estimation for D Iteration Method. We also prove that errors in D iterative process is controllable. Especially stability, data dependence, controllability, error accumulation of such iterative methods are being studied.

Abstract In this work, we study an initial value problem for a system of nonlinear parabolic pseudo equations with Caputo fractional derivative. Here, we discuss the continuity which is related to a fractional order derivative. To overcome some of the difficulties of this problem, we need to evaluate the relevant quantities of the Mittag-Leffler function by constants independent of the derivative order. Moreover, we present an example to illustrate the theory.

In this work, we consider the time-fractional diffusion equations depend on fractional orders. In more detail, we study on the initial value problems for the time semi-linear fractional diffusion-wave system and discussion about continuity with respect to the fractional derivative order. We find the answer to the question: When the fractional orders get closer, are the corresponding solutions close? To answer this question, we present some depth theories on PDEs and fractional calculus. In addition, we add an example numerical to verify the proposed theory.

We introduce the notion of pointwise cyclic-noncyclic relatively nonexpansive pairs involving orbits. We study the best proximity point problem for this class of mappings. We also study the same problem for the class of pointwise noncyclic-noncyclic relatively nonexpansive pairs involving orbits. Finally, under the assumption of weak proximal normal structure, we prove a coincidence quasi-best proximity point theorem for pointwise cyclic-noncyclic relatively nonexpansive pairs involving orbits. Examples are provided to illustrate the observed results.

Abstract In this paper, we consider an inverse source problem for the time-space-fractional diffusion equation. Here, in the sense of Hadamard, we prove that the problem is severely ill-posed. By applying the quasi-reversibility regularization method, we propose by this method to solve the problem (1.1). After that, we give an error estimate between the sought solution and regularized solution under a prior parameter choice rule and a posterior parameter choice rule, respectively. Finally, we present a numerical example to find that the proposed method works well.

Abstract In this paper, we introduce the notion of an α–ζ̃– –Pata contraction that combines well-known concepts, such as the Pata contraction, the E-contraction and the simulation function. Existence and uniqueness of a fixed point of such mappings are investigated in the setting of a complete metric space. An example is stated to indicate the validity of the observed result. At the end, we give an application on the solution of nonlinear fractional differential equations.

In this paper, we obtain new results which have not been encountered before in the literature, in multivalued quasimetric spaces, inspired by Proinov type contractions. We use admissible function as proving theorems. We also give an example that supports our theorems.

In this paper, we establish some point of φ-coincidence and common φ-fixed point results for two self-mappings defined on a metric space via extended CG-simulation functions. By giving an example we show that the obtained results are a proper extension of several well-known results in the existing literature. As applications of our results, we deduce some results in partial metric spaces besides proving an existence and uniqueness result on the solution of system of integral equations.

The class of L-contractive mappings was introduced by Cho [12]. In this paper, we provide some fixed point results for such mappings via a control function introduced by Jleli and Samet [14] in the class of partial metric spaces. Some illustrating examples are given.

Hereafter, the concept of a function weighted quasi-metric space is introduced. A necessary topology on this new structure is considered. A condition that ensures the uniqueness of the limit of a sequence in such a space is provided. A relation between the bi-convergent sequences and the bi-Cauchy ones are proved. Certain classes of operators with respect to their fixed point properties are investigated, having in view this framework. Examples that support our results are also included.

In this article, we introduce the notion of weak $P_\gamma $ -property and $\gamma $ -controlled proximal contraction in the setting of $b$ -metric spaces and prove best proximity results for such mappings. By restricting these results, we get some new results to study the existence of best proximity points and fixed points of mappings.

In this paper, we investigate contractions in a rational form in the context of the supermetric space, which is a very interesting generalization of the metric space. We consider an illustrative example to support this new result on supermetric space.

In this article, we introduce the notions of a soft inf-comparable contraction and soft comparable Meir-Keeler contraction in a soft metric space. Furthermore, we prove two soft fixed point theorems which assure the existence of soft fixed points for these two types of comparable contractions. The obtained results not only generalize but also unify many recent fixed point results in the literature.

This manuscript deals with a class of Katugampola implicit fractional differential equations in b-metric spaces. The results are based on the α−φ-Geraghty type contraction and the fixed point theory. We express an illustrative example.

The main goal of the present paper is to obtain several fixed point theorems in the framework of F-quasi-metric spaces, which is an extension of F-metric spaces. Also, a Hausdorff δ-distance in these spaces is introduced, and a coincidence point theorem regarding this distance is proved. We also present some examples for the validity of the given results and consider an application to the Volterra-type integral equation.

In this paper, we investigate the existence of a unique coupled fixed point for α−admissible mapping which is of Fψ1,ψ2−contraction in the context of M−metric space. We have also shown that the results presented in this paper would extend many recent results appearing in the literature. In this article, we study some existence and controllability results for two classes of second order functional differential equations with delay and random effects. To begin, we employ a random fixed point theorem with a stochastic domain to demonstrate the existence of mild random solutions. Next, we prove that our problems are controllable. Finally, an example is given to validate the theory part.

Abstract In this paper, inspired by Hussain et al. (Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2015:17, 2015), we study a modified Mann method to approximate strongly fixed points of strict pseudo-contractive mappings. In (Hussain et al. in Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2015:17, 2015) it is shown that the same algorithm converges strongly to a fixed point of a nonexpansive mapping under suitable hypotheses on the coefficients. Here the assumptions on the coefficients are different, as well as the techniques of the proof.

In this paper we consider a kind of Geraghty contractions by using mw-distances in the setting of complete quasi-metric spaces. We provide fixed point theorems for this type of mappings and illustrate with some examples the results obtained.

We present a fixed point theorem for generalized (α,ψ)-Meir-Keeler type contractions in the setting of generalized b-metric spaces. The presented results improve, generalize, and unify many existing famous results in the corresponding literature.

In this article, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of a solution for the fractional differential equation by introducing some new coupled fixed point theorems for the class of mixed monotone operators with perturbations in the context of partially ordered complete metric space.

In this article, we introduce the concept of generalized $\alpha\text{-}\psi$-contraction in the context of metric-like spaces and establish some related fixed point theorems. As consequences, we obtain some known fixed point results in the literature. Some examples and an application on two-point boundary value problems for second order differential equation are also considered.

We investigate the existence and uniqueness of certain operators which form a new contractive condition via the combining of the notions of admissible function and simulation function contained in the context of complete b-metric spaces. The given results not only unify but also generalize a number of existing results on the topic in the corresponding literature.

The notion of coupled fixed point was introduced by Guo and Laksmikantham [12]. Later Gnana Bhaskar and Lakshmikantham in [11] investigated the coupled fixed points in the setting of partially ordered set by defining the notion of mixed monotone property. Very recently, the concept of tripled fixed point was introduced by Berinde and Borcut [7]. Following this trend, Karapınar[19] defined the quadruple fixed point. In this manuscript, quadruple fixed point is discussed and some new fixed point theorems are obtained on partial metric spaces.

In this paper, using the concept of ω -admissibility, we prove some fixed point results for interpolate Ćirić-Reich-Rus-type contraction mappings. We also present some consequences and a useful example.

In this paper we present existence and uniqueness criteria of a fixed point for a self mapping on a non-empty set endowed with two comparable partial metrics.

By giving a counter-example, we point out a gap in the paper by Karapinar (Adv. Theory Nonlinear Anal. Its Appl. 2018, 2, 85⁻87) where the given fixed point may be not unique and we present the corrected version. We also state the celebrated fixed point theorem of Reich⁻Rus⁻Ćirić in the framework of complete partial metric spaces, by taking the interpolation theory into account. Some examples are provided where the main result in papers by Reich (Can. Math. Bull. 1971, 14, 121⁻124; Boll. Unione Mat. Ital. 1972, 4, 26⁻42 and Boll. Unione Mat. Ital. 1971, 4, 1⁻11.) is not applicable.

We obtain some fixed point theorems for two pairs of hybrid mappings using hybrid tangential property and quadratic type contractive condition. Our results generalize some results by Babu and Alemayehu and those contained therein. In the sequel, we introduce a new notion to generalize occasionally weak compatibility. Moreover, two concrete examples are established to illuminate the generality of our results.

A class of nonlinear multipoint boundary value problems for singular fractional differential equations is considered. By means of a coupled fixed point theorem on ordered sets, some results on the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions are obtained.

Very recently, Abkar and Gabeleh (2013) observed that some best proximity point results under the -property can be obtained from the same results in fixed-point theory. In this paper, motivated by this mentioned work, we show that the most best proximity point results on a metric space endowed with a partial order (under the -property) can be deduced from existing fixed-point theorems in the literature. We present various model examples to illustrate this point of view.

In this paper, we introduce some almost generalized (ψ,ϕ)-contractions in the setting of G-metric spaces. We prove some fixed points results for such contractions. The presented theorems improve and extend some known results in the literature. An example is also presented.

A fixed point theorem involving Boyd-Wong-type cyclic contractions in partial metric spaces is proved. We also provide examples to support the concepts and results presented herein.

Cone-valued lower semicontinuous maps are used to generalize Cristi-Kirik's fixed point theorem to Cone metric spaces. The cone under consideration is assumed to be strongly minihedral and normal. First we prove such a type of fixed point theorem in compact cone metric spaces and then generalize to complete cone metric spaces. Some more general results are also obtained in quasicone metric spaces.
