The “French Marine Economic Data” report is periodically published by Ifremer since 1997. It presents an economic assessment of France’s maritime activities, their significance in the domestic economy, their competitiveness at world scale, as well as the economic significance of non market public services. Private maritime businesses are assessed using a standard metrics to facilitate the periodical update of the report: turnover, gross value added, employment, number of enterprises, exports. The public sector is described on the basis of annual budgets, number of staff and personnel costs, broken down into different functions of public services. If relevant and available, regional economic indicators are presented on maritime activities. In addition, the report takes into account the European dimension of maritime activities., Les « Données économiques maritimes françaises », publiées périodiquement par l’Ifremer depuis 1997, évaluent le poids économique des activités maritimes françaises, leur rôle dans l’économie nationale, leur place dans la concurrence internationale, ainsi que l’importance des services publics non marchands. La description des secteurs maritimes est effectuée à l’échelle nationale. Les activités maritimes du secteur industriel sont évaluées à l’aide d’indicateurs standard pour faciliter la mise à jour périodique du rapport : chiffre d’affaires, valeur ajoutée, emploi, nombre d’entreprises, exportations. Le secteur public est décrit par les budgets, les effectifs et les coûts de personnels dévolus aux différentes missions. Des indicateurs régionaux sont donnés sur les secteurs pour lesquels ils sont pertinents et disponibles. Par ailleurs le rapport prend en compte la dimension européenne des activités maritimes

A key element of the Navy's Manpower, Personnel, Training and Education (MPT&E) mission is to recruit, develop, manage and deploy a workforce in an agile, cost-effective manner. In order to accomplish its mission, MPT&E strives to provide the right sailor with the right skill sets in the right job at the right time, and to manage his/her career path in support of warfighting capabilities. To support this objective, some form of automated learning management system or virtual learning environment is needed. A learning management system (or LMS) is a software application that enables the delivery and management of online content to learners.

This series consists of copies of individual agency workforce plans, submitted to the Department of Civil Service, and copies of the yearly executive overview prepared by the Dept. of Civil Service as directed by law. Each agency's annual workforce management plan identifies workforce trends caused by programmatic and technological changes in the agency's administrative and operational functions. Typically an agency plan covers a four-year period and identifies projected workforce changes, including titles and required skills, by program area.

Most are standard press releases publicizing appointments, new legislation, issues of concern to the governor, the governor's activities, or ceremonial occasions. Specific issues include business and employment; crime and correctional services; health care costs and programs; energy; mass transit financing; domestic violence; highway maintenance and construction; and neighborhood preservation programs.

Occasionally a press release will include, or consist entirely of, the text of a piece of legislation, a statement by the governor, an Executive Order or proclamation, or a government report.

Workforce overload is a problem of today's work environment. In order to conquer workforce overload, the problem and its sources need to be defined. A qualitative literature search was performed to define and describe workforce overload. The research revealed several sources of the problem and means to correcting the problem plaguing today's workforce. The problems associated with overload are the responsibility of both the employee and employer. A joint effort by both parties may not solve the problem but may make dealing with it easier. Solutions found for managing information overload started with prioritization of messages. Other job stress contributing to workforce overload includes a lack of a skilled labor pool, downsizing, and poor time management. Solutions found to these job stress factors included training and effective time management. Further research may need to be done in the areas of addressing how to handle changes in the workforce and when to implement changes effectively.
