Background: Boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) is a tumor-selective particle radiotherapy that combines preferential boron accumulation in tumors and neutron irradiation. Based on previous studies in tumor-bearing mice, this study evaluated the biodistribution of the sodium salt of cobaltabis(dicarbollide) (Na[3,3′-Co(C2B9H11)2], abbreviated as Na[o-COSAN]) in the hamster cheek pouch oral cancer model and the Na[o-COSAN]/BNCT therapeutic effect on tumors and induced radiotoxicity. The synthesis and comprehensive characterization of 10B-enriched trimethylammonium salt of nido-[7,8-C210B9H12]−o-carborane, along with the cesium and sodium salts of [o-10COSAN] cobaltabis(dicarbollide) are reported here for the first time. Methods: Hamsters bearing tumors were injected with Na[o-COSAN] (7.5 mg B/kg) and euthanized at different time-points after injection (30 min, 2, 3, 5, and 18 h post-administration) to evaluate boron uptake in different tissues/organs. Based on these results, tumor-bearing animals were treated with Na[10B-o-COSAN]/BNCT (7.5 mg B/kg b.w., 3 h), prescribing 5 Gy total in absorbed dose to the precancerous tissue surrounding tumors, i.e., the dose-limiting tissue. Results: Na[o-10COSAN] exhibited no toxicity. Although biodistribution studies employing Na[o-COSAN] have shown low absolute boron concentration in the tumor (approx. 11 ppm), Na[o-10COSAN]/BNCT induced a high and significant therapeutic effect on tumors versus the control group (cancerized, untreated animals). Moreover, only half of the animals exhibited severe mucositis in the precancerous dose-limiting tissue after BNCT, which resolved completely at 21 days after irradiation. Conclusions: Na[o-10COSAN] would be potentially useful to treat head and neck cancer with BNCT.

Abstract Reservoir-building on rivers is still “the Brazilian energy culture”, such that many other dams are being constructed and planned, with many other rivers potentially suffering the same impact in their sediment flux. In this study, we evaluated the impacts of reservoir-building on the erosion of the São Francisco, Jequitinhonha, Doce, and Paraíba do Sul river deltas. A time series of Landsat images from 1973 to 2020 was analyzed, with three key highlighted moments (1973, 1997 and 2020) that summarize the erosion processes on these deltas. In addition to the images, continuous river water discharge, sediment discharge and basin rainfall data were analyzed between 1940 and 2020, providing river parameters over a period exceeding that of the satellite data. The findings suggest that coastal erosion has progressed in the four deltas, with higher estimated losses in the São Francisco and Paraíba do Sul over the 47 years of available satellite images. However, despite minimal overall estimated gains, the Jequitinhonha and Doce experienced high erosion at their river mouths, as in the other two rivers, compensated by accretion in distal coastal areas. These results can be explained by reductions in river flux and consequent sediment transport capacity due to reservoirs.

After the 1898 Philippine revolution, the English language was introduced in the country by the Americans and it began to surmount in the consciousness of the Filipino people. For one century now, this language has become dominant in the Filipino consciousness. Linguistically, it has even influenced the classification of the vocabulary of the Visayan-Cebuano language, i.e., according to the English eight parts of speech. But, as early as 1947, Manuel Yap, bishop and biblical scholar from Carcar, Cebu, objected, saying that the Visayan-Cebuano vocabulary does not fit in the English eight-parts-of-speech classification. This study, then, aims at inquiring into Yap’s own classification of the Visayan-Cebuano vocabulary. In doing this, it uses the descriptive-analysis research design. First, it presents the English eight-parts-of-speech classification, and second, Yap’s classification of the Visayan-Cebuano vocabulary. It concludes that Yap’s classification is the one that fits to the nature of the Visayan-Cebuano vocabulary.

St. John’s Gospel begins with a prologue, serving as an overture to the whole Gospel. This paper investigates the philosophical notions embedded in the first three lines of John 1:1. The inquiry focuses on whether or not the accepted meaning of this line as “indicating timeless existence” can be deduced from John 1:1 and whether or not John 1:1 also indicates the meaning of the “principle of creation.” This paper proceeds to make this inquiry in the following order: Introduction; The questions arising in John 1:1; Word as God is eternal, outside time; “In the beginning” as predicate; “The Word was in the beginning”; Timeless existence and the verb was; The Word as God is a principle of creation (which included the distinction between the concepts of anthropological intentionality and metaphysical intentionality); and Conclusion. This paper concludes by affirming the two questions on timeless existence and the principle of creation.

This paper deals with 1) angle trisection, 2) Bhaskara’s first proof, and 3) Pythagorean theorem. The purpose of this paper is threefold. First, to show a new, direct method of trisecting the 90deg angle using unmarked straight edge and compass; secondly, to show Bhaskara’s first proof of the Pythagorean theorem (c2 = a2 + b2) as embedded in this new, direct trisection of the 90deg angle; lastly, to show the derivation of the Pythagorean theorem from this trisection of the 90deg angle. This paper employs the direct dissection method. It concludes by presenting four points: a) the concept of trisectability as distinct from concept of constructability; b) the trisection of the 90deg angle as really a new, different method; c) Bhaskara’s first proof of the Pythagorean theorem as truly embedded in this trisection of the 90deg angle and; d) another way of deriving Pythagorean theorem from this trisection of the 90deg angle.

Boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) is based on the preferential uptake of 10B compounds by tumors, followed by neutron irradiation. The aim of this study was to assess, in an ectopic colon cancer model, the therapeutic efficacy, radiotoxicity, abscopal effect and systemic immune response associated with (BPA/Borophenylalanine+GB-10/Decahydrodecaborate)-BNCT (Comb-BNCT) alone or in combination with Oligo-Fucoidan (O-Fuco) or Glutamine (GLN), compared to the “standard” BPA-BNCT protocol usually employed in clinical trials. All treatments were carried out at the RA-3 nuclear reactor. Boron biodistribution studies showed therapeutic values above 20 ppm 10B in tumors. At 7 weeks post-treatment, the ratio of tumor volume post-/pre-BNCT was significantly smaller for all BNCT groups vs. SHAM (p < 0.05). The parameter “incidence of tumors that underwent a reduction to ≤50% of initial tumor volume” exhibited values of 62% for Comb-BNCT alone, 82% for Comb-BNCT+GLN, 73% for Comb-BNCT+O-Fuco and only 30% for BPA-BNCT. For BPA-BNCT, the incidence of severe dermatitis was 100%, whereas it was significantly below 70% (p ≤ 0.05) for Comb-BNCT, Comb-BNCT+O-Fuco and Comb-BNCT+GLN. Considering tumors outside the treatment area, 77% of Comb-BNCT animals had a tumor volume lower than 50 mm3 vs. 30% for SHAM (p ≤ 0.005), suggesting an abscopal effect of Comb-BNCT. Inhibition of metastatic spread to lymph nodes was observed in all Comb-BNCT groups. Considering systemic aspects, CD8+ was elevated for Comb-BNCT+GLN vs. SHAM (p ≤ 0.01), and NK was elevated for Comb-BNCT vs. SHAM (p ≤ 0.05). Comb-BNCT improved therapeutic efficacy and reduced radiotoxicity compared to BPA-BNCT and induced an immune response and an abscopal effect.

Boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) combines preferential tumor uptake of 10B compounds and neutron irradiation. Electroporation induces an increase in the permeability of the cell membrane. We previously demonstrated the optimization of boron biodistribution and microdistribution employing electroporation (EP) and decahydrodecaborate (GB-10) as the boron carrier in a hamster cheek pouch oral cancer model. The aim of the present study was to evaluate if EP could improve tumor control without enhancing the radiotoxicity of BNCT in vivo mediated by GB-10 with EP 10 min after GB-10 administration. Following cancerization, tumor-bearing hamster cheek pouches were treated with GB-10/BNCT or GB-10/BNCT + EP. Irradiations were carried out at the RA-3 Reactor. The tumor response and degree of mucositis in precancerous tissue surrounding tumors were evaluated for one month post-BNCT. The overall tumor response (partial remission (PR) + complete remission (CR)) increased significantly for protocol GB-10/BNCT + EP (92%) vs. GB-10/BNCT (48%). A statistically significant increase in the CR was observed for protocol GB-10/BNCT + EP (46%) vs. GB-10/BNCT (6%). For both protocols, the radiotoxicity (mucositis) was reversible and slight/moderate. Based on these results, we concluded that electroporation improved the therapeutic efficacy of GB-10/BNCT in vivo in the hamster cheek pouch oral cancer model without increasing the radiotoxicity.

The present contribution reports a novel electrode based on an ITO substrate surface-modified with a nanofilm of nickel tetrasulfonated phthalocyanine (NiTsPc) with cerium oxide nanoparticles (CeO2) for the effective differential pulse voltammetric detection of acetaminophen, which is a contaminant of emerging concern (CEC). The optimized ITO/NiTsPc/CeO2 electrode responds linearly (r2 > 0.99) to acetaminophen in the range of 0.4 to 11.2 µM, with a limit of detection (S/N = 3) of 54.7 nM. This response is reproducible for fourteen consecutive runs (RSD = 10.97%) and insensitive to the presence of interfering CECs (amoxicillin, atenolol, caffeine, diclofenac, ethinyl estradiol, and ibuprofen) at the same concentration. The electrode can be used to detect acetaminophen in tap water, synthetic urine, and pharmaceutical tablets, in which it performs similarly to UV-Vis spectroscopy at a 95% confidence level.

Background: BNCT (Boron Neutron Capture Therapy) is a tumor-selective particle radiotherapy that combines preferential boron accumulation in tumors and neutron irradiation. Although p-boronophenylalanine (BPA) has been clinically used, new boron compounds are needed for the advancement of BNCT. Based on previous studies in colon tumor-bearing mice, in this study, we evaluated MID:BSA (maleimide-functionalized closo-dodecaborate conjugated to bovine serum albumin) biodistribution and MID:BSA/BNCT therapeutic effect on tumors and associated radiotoxicity in the hamster cheek pouch oral cancer model. Methods: Biodistribution studies were performed at 30 mg B/kg and 15 mg B/kg (12 h and 19 h post-administration). MID:BSA/BNCT (15 mg B/kg, 19 h) was performed at three different absorbed doses to precancerous tissue. Results: MID:BSA 30 mg B/kg protocol induced high BSA toxicity. MID:BSA 15 mg B/kg injected at a slow rate was well-tolerated and reached therapeutically useful boron concentration values in the tumor and tumor/normal tissue ratios. The 19 h protocol exhibited significantly lower boron concentration values in blood. MID:BSA/BNCT exhibited a significant tumor response vs. the control group with no significant radiotoxicity. Conclusions: MID:BSA/BNCT would be therapeutically useful to treat oral cancer. BSA toxicity is a consideration when injecting a compound conjugated to BSA and depends on the animal model studied.

Translational Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) studies performed by our group and clinical BNCT studies worldwide have shown the therapeutic efficacy of BNCT for head and neck cancer. The present BNCT studies in veterinary patients with head and neck cancer were performed to optimize the therapeutic efficacy of BNCT, contribute towards exploring the role of BNCT in veterinary medicine, put in place technical aspects for an upcoming clinical trial of BNCT for head and neck cancer at the RA-6 Nuclear Reactor, and assess the feasibility of employing the existing B2 beam to treat large, deep-seated tumors. Five dogs with head and neck cancer with no other therapeutic option were treated with two applications of BNCT mediated by boronophenyl-alanine (BPA) separated by 3–5 weeks. Two to three portals per BNCT application were used to achieve a potentially therapeutic dose over the tumor without exceeding normal tissue tolerance. Clinical and Computed Tomography results evidenced partial tumor control in all cases, with slight-moderate mucositis, excellent life quality, and prolongation in the survival time estimated at recruitment. These exploratory studies show the potential value of BNCT in veterinary medicine and contribute towards initiating a clinical BNCT trial for head and neck cancer at the RA-6 clinical facility.

Wine is a multi-attribute product and one of great differentiation. Consumers do not know wines’ intrinsic properties before its purchase; consumers need and look for extrinsic signals that allow them to infer those intrinsic properties. To evaluate those intrinsic wine properties, the article uses price as an extrinsic signal to express their value. The price used is a comparison between the prices suggested by the specialized guides and the ones proposed directly to the consumer at the on-line stores. With the hedonic price methodology, which relates price and attributes, the article shows the convergence between the value referenced (price) by the Spanish experts and the one paid (price) in the Spanish market, the former being independent of the interests of the economic agents and the latter not. Regional reputation is the only attribute that positively impacts the price of Castilian wine and is prioritized in the ranking of attributes.

Microfossils present in Quaternary micrites from Serra da Bodoquena, Mato Grosso do Sul State, Brazil, are here described for the first time. The studied taxa are: a) ostracods: Candona sp., Candonopsis sp., Cyclocypris sp., Cypria sp., Cypridopsis sp., Notodromas sp., Ilyocypris sp., Cyprideis sp., Wolburgiopsis cf. chinamuertensis (Musacchio 1970), Darwinula sp. and 5 morphotypes; b) microgastropod Acrobis sp., and c) Characeae remains and gyrogonites Chara sp.. The presence of these microfossils suggests clear-water shallow lacustrine paleoenvironments and the presence of aquatic vegetation. Similarities between microfossils and the living taxa suggest possible Holocene ages for these deposits, which is in accordance with previous C14 dates.Diversos microfósseis provenientes de micritos quaternários da Serra da Bodoquena, estado de Mato Grosso do Sul, Brasil são aqui descritos pela primeira vez. Os taxa descritos são os seguintes: a) ostracodes: Candona sp., Candonopsis sp., Cyclocypris sp., Cypria sp., Cypridopsis sp., Notodromas sp., Ilyocypris sp., Cyprideis sp., Wolburgiopsis cf. chinamuertensis (Musacchio 1970), Darwinula sp. e 5 morfotipos; b) microgastrópode Acrobis sp., e c) restos de Characeae e girogonites de Chara sp.. ABSTRACT This paper presents a sedimentological and stratigraphical study of Quaternary (Middle to Late Pleistocene/Holocene) continental carbonates outcrops inside Pantanal Basin and its surroundings, especially in Serra da Bodoquena, Pantanal do Miranda and Corumbá/Ladário plateau, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, as well as in Serra das Araras, in the state of Mato Grosso. The aim is to understand the depositional paleoenvironments and analyse climate and tectonic influences in their genesis and evolution. The results show that the deposition of these continental carbonates started in the Middle to Late Pleistocene and have continued, with some interruptions, until the present days. Sedimentary successions were identified in the different areas, without complete correlation. Two sedimentary successions separated by an erosional surface were described in Serra da Bodoquena and Serra das Araras. In Corumbá and Pantanal do Miranda, only one succession was described. These successions were deposited in elongated lakes parallel to fault planes; small lakes, related plains and plateaus; springs related to cliffs produced by faulting; rivers conditioned by topographic variation. The climatic interpretation, without proper temporal resolution, obtained by the stable-isotope composition and stratigraphic interpretation, indicates alternation of dry and wet periods. The Neoproterozoic faults with their neotectonics and the subsidence of the Pantanal Basin, are the major control for carbonated water flow and development of depositional areas, gradually turning plateaus into slight tilted areas, allowing the evolution of depositional systems from lakes to rivers.

La medición de las expectativas de inflación es altamente relevante para una economía inflacionaria como la de Argentina. En este trabajo se estima la compensación por inflación implícita en los rendimientos de bonos argentinos durante el periodo de metas de inflación, empleando la diferencia entre el rendimiento de bonos argentinos ajustados y no ajustados por inflación. Bajo ciertas condiciones esta compensación es una medida de expectativas de inflación observable y con frecuencia diaria. Existe alta volatilidad en la compensación en el primer semestre de 2017 y de 2018. La compensación registra sistémicamente valores superiores a las expectativas de inflación obtenidas por el BCRA a través del relevamiento de expectativas de mercado (REM). Esto podría sugerir la incidencia de una prima por riesgo y liquidez, o indicar una posible subestimación de las expectativas por parte del REM. Al mismo tiempo la compensación estimada es un mejor predictor de la inflación realizada que la inflación esperada en el REM.

El presente artículo aborda la casuística en la imposición de costas y la regulación de honorarios en los fueros de violencia familiar (ley provincial 9283), violencia de género (ley provincial 10401) y de niñez (ley provincial 9944), desde la perspectiva de género en intersección con la de infancia. El propósito es que este material constituya una herramienta de consulta diaria que facilite nuestra labor, ya que la mayoría de estos procesos no se encuentran regulados por el Código Arancelario, y hay que recurrir a la combinación y analogía de múltiples artículos para efectivizar las regulaciones.

Abstract Microplastic pollution, an emerging environmental issue, poses significant threats to aquatic ecosystems and human health. In tackling microplastic pollution and advancing green hydrogen production, this study reveals a tandem catalytic microplastic degradation-hydrogen evolution reaction (MPD-HER) process using hierarchical porous carbon nitride-supported single-atom iron catalysts (FeSA-hCN). Through hydrothermal-assisted Fenton-like reactions, we accomplish near-total ultrahigh-molecular-weight-polyethylene degradation into C3-C20 organics with 64% selectivity of carboxylic acid under neutral pH, a leap beyond current capabilities in efficiency, selectivity, eco-friendliness, and stability over six cycles. The system demonstrates versatility by degrading various daily-use plastics across different aquatic settings. The mixture of FeSA-hCN and plastic degradation products further achieves a hydrogen evolution of 42 μmol h‒1 under illumination, outperforming most existing plastic photoreforming methods. This tandem MPD-HER process not only provides a scalable and economically feasible strategy to combat plastic pollution but also contributes to the hydrogen economy, with far-reaching implications for global sustainability initiatives.

La desaparición de El pueblo español tiene un camino que conduce a una estrella tras la clausura de la Exposición Internacional de París en 1937 ha dificultado históricamente el estudio de esta mítica escultura, la obra de mayor relevancia creada por el escultor Alberto Sánchez (1895-1962). Este artículo, precedido de una intensa búsqueda documental, recoge nuevos datos sobre su realización, que incluyen aspectos relativos a su forma, su color y su significado. Las nuevas averiguaciones vienen asimismo a discutir algunos aspectos de la reproducción de la escultura original, emplazada desde 2001 frente a la entrada del Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía en Madrid.

Antecedentes: La neutropenia congénita es una inmunodeficiencia primaria caracterizada por una disminución en el recuento de neutrófilos. Se clasifica en leve, moderada o grave. Dentro de las opciones de tratamiento se incluye el trasplante de células progenitoras hematopoyéticas; no obstante, la enfermedad de injerto contra huésped supone una complicación importante. Reporte de caso: Paciente de 2 años de edad, con antecedentes médicos de neutropenia congénita. Cursó con abscesos en la piel cabelluda y celulitis preseptal, tratados satisfactoriamente. Luego de la evaluación multidisciplinaria, se inició el protocolo para recibir trasplante alogénico de células progenitoras hematopoyéticas de donador no relacionado. Se estableció el diagnóstico de enfermedad de injerto contra huésped, que complicó el pronóstico y, finalmente, dio como resultado el fallecimiento de la paciente. Conclusión: La enfermedad de injerto contra huésped sigue siendo una complicación importante en pacientes que reciben trasplantes alogénicos de células progenitoras hematopoyéticas. La identificación, abordaje y tratamiento tiene relevancia clínica, debido a la elevada morbilidad y mortalidad asociadas. A pesar de ser el autor de algunas de las obras más relevantes de la llamada pintura social, como Garrote vil o La carga, al pintor barcelonés Ramon Casas i Carbó (1866- 1932) se le ha reprochado históricamente una falta de compromiso en su acercamiento a esta temática, derivada a su vez de una imagen frívola del personaje: burgués, inculto, despreocupado y bon vivant. Sin embargo, esta imagen estereotipada queda lejos de la realidad, pues —aunque con dificultad— han podido rastrearse noticias documentales que nos presentan a un artista inquieto en lo cultural, involucrado en la sociedad de su tiempo y con un interés genuino por la política del que no se tenía constancia, al haber sido ocultado por sus primeros biógrafos. El artículo estudia las causas y las consecuencias de este olvido histórico y nos descubre a un nuevo Casas, más complejo y más profundo, analizando además con especial atención el proceso creativo de La carga y su trayectoria hasta nuestros días.

Este trabajo se propone analizar los comentarios de lectores de La Capital, uno de los sitios más populares de la ciudad de Mar del Plata, en noticias políticas vinculadas al ex intendente y candidato por la coalición Cambiemos Carlos Fernando Arroyo (2015-2019), referente local cercano a la derecha del espectro político. La construcción del corpus se realizó mediante técnicas de web scraping con el lenguaje de programación R, lo que permitió explorar su conformación general y realizar búsquedas particulares. El análisis de la sección política revela que la dinámica del comentario reactualiza la dicotomía entre peronismo y anti peronismo. Además, emergen nuevas categorías como la de troll, que se entrelazan con las de la cultura local, a los fines de interpelar a los/as usuarios/as. Este hecho devela la polarización social, pero también la relevancia del sitio como espacio de encuentro entre las diferencias políticas.

This paper presents a 1:50,000 scale map and lithostratigraphic synthesis of the Huajuapan region, which has one of Mexico's most complete geological records. The region represents a critical area for understanding the marine flooding process after the breakup of Pangea. This process formed small extensional basins, such as the Ayuquila basin, and dismantled a primary fluvial system that drained the ancient central Pacific slope of Pangea. In the Huajuapan region, the Ayuquila basin developed in a tectonic SSE–NNW extension framework that prevailed from the Middle Jurassic to the Turonian. In its beginnings, this basin developed a thick siliciclastic fluvial deposit during the Middle Jurassic. Later, during the Late Jurassic, although with local unconformities, the deposition of marine successions began. Marine deposits continued throughout the Cretaceous. During the Cenozoic, continental conditions were re-established with clastic-evaporite successions and volcanic activity.

Abstract Background The integration of positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) holds promise for advancing diagnostic imaging capabilities. The METRICS project aims to develop cyclotron-driven production of 52Mn for PET/MRI imaging. Results Using the 52Cr(p,n)52Mn reaction, we designed chromium metal targets via Spark Plasma Sintering and developed a separation procedure for isolating 52Mn. Labeling tests were conducted with traditional chelators (i.e. S-2-(4-Isothiocyanatobenzyl)-1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane tetraacetic acid) and the 1.4-dioxa-8-azaspiro[4.5]decane-8- carbodithioate ligand to produce radioactive complexes suitable for PET/MRI applications. Our methodology yielded high-quality 52Mn suitable for PET radiopharmaceuticals and PET/MRI imaging. Preliminary studies on phantom imaging using microPET and clinical MRI demonstrated the efficacy of our approach. Conclusions The developed technology offers a promising avenue for producing 52Mn and enhancing PET/MRI imaging capabilities. Further in vivo investigations are warranted to evaluate the potential advantages of this hybrid imaging technique.

Abstract Antarctic moss beds are sensitive to climatic conditions, and both their survival and community composition are particularly influenced by the availability of liquid water over summer. As Antarctic regions increasingly face climate pressures (e.g., changing hydrology and heat waves), advancing capabilities to efficiently and non‐destructively monitor water content in moss communities becomes a key research priority. Because of the complexity induced by multiple micro‐climatic drivers and its fragility, tracking the evolution and responses of moss bed moisture requires monitoring methods that are non‐intrusive, efficient, and spatially significant, such as the use of unoccupied aerial systems (UAS). In this study, we combine a multi‐species drying laboratory experiment with short‐wave infrared (SWIR) spectroscopy analyses to first develop a Random Forest regression Model (RFM) capable of predicting Antarctic moss turf water content (~5% error). Luis Estrada has become, along with his fellow countrymen and colleagues Alexandro González Iñárritu, Guillermo del Toro and Alfonso Cuarón, one of the four most internationally renowned Mexican directors. Estrada’s work is characterized by an investigation of his country’s situation from the 1940s to the present day, in what is known as his «pentalogy», which includes the film ¡Que viva México! defined by the author himself as an esperpento. This grotesque vision of the world is interesting not only for its aesthetic aspects, but also for its historical, social, political and moral dimensions.

The present contribution reports a novel electrode based on an ITO substrate surface-modified with a nanofilm of nickel tetrasulfonated phthalocyanine (NiTsPc) with cerium oxide nanoparticles (CeO2) for the effective differential pulse voltammetric detection of acetaminophen, which is a contaminant of emerging concern (CEC). The optimized ITO/NiTsPc/CeO2 electrode responds linearly (r2 > 0.99) to acetaminophen in the range of 0.4 to 11.2 µM, with a limit of detection (S/N = 3) of 54.7 nM. This response is reproducible for fourteen consecutive runs (RSD = 10.97%) and insensitive to the presence of interfering CECs (amoxicillin, atenolol, caffeine, diclofenac, ethinyl estradiol, and ibuprofen) at the same concentration. The electrode can be used to detect acetaminophen in tap water, synthetic urine, and pharmaceutical tablets, in which it performs similarly to UV-Vis spectroscopy at a 95% confidence level.
