To understand the medical students' perspectives and influential factors on their career pathway decision to be a General Practitioners (GP) in Indonesia.This research used sequentially mixed methods. The qualitative study was conducted using focus group discussions with 30 third-year students, followed by in-depth interviews with 15 students from one Indonesian institution with the highest level of accreditation. The qualitative data, together with the literature review, were used to construct an online questionnaire with three types of questions.The survey response rate reached 81% from 2,240 students across 64 faculties of medicine in Indonesia. Responses indicated that GP is not preferred as the leading career choice, and 67% of students prefer to become hospital specialists. The qualitative data revealed several influencing factors in choosing GP as their ultimate career choice: more family time, being closer to the community, and interest in bio-psycho-social subjects. Meanwhile, the reasons not to choose GP as a career choice were: imbalance in work and life, less authority, being at the lowest level position in the health care system, high uncertainty, and low financial incentives.GP is not an interesting career option for most medical students in this study. Considering GP works strategically in primary care settings aiming at better health outcomes and optimizing the health care financial system with greater patient satisfaction, influential positive factors to be GP should be nurtured in the medical curriculum.

Objective:Primary dysmenorrhoea is a common occurrence in women's reproductive age. However, there are still many efforts to reduce this incidence by taking medicines to relieve pain. This study aims to obtain evidence of reducing primary dysmenorrhoea in another way, namely increasing physical activity in female adolescents.Method:This research is an observational analytic study using a cross-sectional design. Inferential analysis uses Chi square test and is followed by logistic regression analysis. Result:Multivariable analysis showed a significant relationship between physical activity and primary dysmenorrhea as seen from the p-value of 0.023 and 0.0003 PR value = 3.48 and 3.6. External variables that have a significant relationship with primary dysmenorrhea are BMI/age with obese category with a p-value of 0.011 and PR 0.30, CED with p-value of 0.001, PR 3.20, menarche with a p-value of 0.005 and 0.025, the PR values are 2.92 and 10.6. Conclusion: High physical activity could reduce a primary dysmenorrhea incident. Program improvement of physical activities among female students in pondok pesantren is needed., Tujuan : Untuk membuktikan apakah terdapat hubungan antara aktivitas fisik dengan kejadian dismenore pada remaja putri. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan menggunakan studi desain cross-sectional. analisis inferensial menggunakan uji Chi square serta dilanjutkan dengan analisis regresi logistik. Hasil : analisis multivariabel menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara aktivitas fisik dengan dismenore primer dilihat dari nilai P-value 0,023 dan 0,0003 nilai PR = 3,48 dan 3,6. Variabel luar yang memiliki hubungan yang bermakna dengan dismenore primer adalah IMT/U dengan kategori gemuk nilai P-value 0,011 dan nilai PR 0,30, KEK dengan dengan nilai P-value 0,001 PR 3,20, menarche dengan nilai P-value 0,005 dan 0,025, nilai PR 2,92 dan 10,6. Kesimpulan : Aktivitas fisik rendah dan sedang berisiko lebih tinggi untuk mengalami dismenore primer dibandingkan dengan yang memiliki aktivitas fisik tinggi. The etiology of Low Birth Weight (LBW) in Murung Raya is still unclear. This study aimed to find out the relationship between environmental and health behavior risk factors of LBW in Murung Raya. 150 women were recruited through the incidence data 2013- 2014, and the questionnaires, medical records, and geographic data were measured by McNemar, ANOVA, logistic, IRR, MI, z (Gi), and NNI tests. Bivariate analysis showed significant correlation of LBW with TBA care OR= 10, drinking popa OR= 5, smoking OR= 6.1, and accessibility OR = 2.3, with adjusted OR for TBA care OR= 32.78, ANC OR= 27.52 revealing trend lines with ANOVA F=49, and clustering RR=7, MI >0 (four clusters), z (Gi) >1 (two high clusters), and NNI>1 (two high clusters). The spatial analysis provided greater statistical power to detect an effect that was not apparent in the case-control study. This study suggests that preventions, interventions and treatment for LBW not only be conducted by the current epidemiology approach but also by new modern geographic positioning analysis.
