Background: The aim of the paper is to assess the cognitive and functional status of a segment of the population for a senescent age group. These assessments can help develop intervention strategies to improve the cognitive and functional status of these individuals as well as promote a healthy and active lifestyle. The assessment of cognitive and functional status in a segment of the population during senescence can identify certain problems and deficiencies in cognitive and physical functioning and can help develop physical activities to optimize the cognitive and functional state of senescent people. Objectives: To identify the cognitive and functional profile of the studied age group; Pointing out risk factors for cognitive and functional deterioration; Suggesting physical activities to improve cognitive and functional status. Methods: The recorded data helps us develop personalized aquatic programs to improve health and physical performance, tailored to the individual needs of participants, to be used over 6 months in 2024. Results: The findings suggested by the collected data, recognises a significant link between subjects' body mass index and their physical test scores. Conclusions: Analysis of the data allows us to identify risk factors, including chronic conditions, adopted lifestyle, genetic influences or other environmental conditioning, that could contribute to cognitive and functional decline in the older population.

(1) Background: Analysis of risk factors and prevalence of osteoporosis in an elderly population suggests a study focused on identifying and evaluating factors contributing to osteoporosis among them. (2) Methods: The aim of this paper is to analyse and compare the prevalence levels of osteoporosis in different age groups in adult women, focusing on the identification and assessment of relevant risk factors. Hypothesis of the work: There are assumed to be significant correlations between adult women age groups and osteoporosis prevalence, and these correlations are influenced by a number of risk factors, including older age, BMI, family history of fractures, and BMD bone mineral density levels. (3) Results: There is a tendency to increase the average weight with age up to the age group of 70-79 years. Mean BMI values indicate significant variation in participants weight status, with relatively high values across all age groups. Mean T-score and Z-score values at femoral neck BMD indicate reduced bone mineral density, possibly associated with osteoporosis or osteopenia, especially in older age groups. (4) Conclusions: There is an increase in average weight with age, and BMI values are relatively high across all age groups, indicating the importance of monitoring and managing body weight to prevent complications associated with osteoporosis.

In today's society, students' addiction to computers and mobile phones has grown. In this sense, the various researches show a major importance in training students of a system of knowledge and motivations, which will contribute to the formation of skills for the systematic practice of physical exercise throughout life. These motivations must be induced by the physical education teacher as well as by the parents. In order to obtain information on the importance and motivation of students to participate in physical education and sports in today's society, we used the questionnaire survey method. The questionnaire was applied to the students from the “Teodor V. Ștefanelli” Gymnasium School in Câmpulung Moldovenesc in order to obtain information about how and how much time they give to physical education and sports classes at the current stage. The respondents were 100 students from the gymnasium cycle, respectively grades V-VIII, students who have a computer and a mobile phone. Following the investigation, we came to the conclusion that it is necessary to permanently modernize the activity of physical education and sports in school in which it is necessary to find new methods, procedures and means to act in practice, as well as continuous improvement of existing ones for to easily attract students to this discipline.

Our study comes from the desire to highlight certain problems faced by adulthood, as well as the awareness of practicing physical exercise in water and on land, in order to combat them. Hypothesis of the work; it is assumed that through a thorough study in terms of body composition and mental status of patients of adult age, we will identify some problems that arise during this period of life and at the same time we will be able to develop truthful programs by applying physical means. The purpose of our work consists in highlighting the main problems of normoponderality and mental status on the patients subjected to the study by applying various tests that will highlight these aspects. Objectives of the study: Identification of body composition and mental status of adult patients; Patients' awareness of the normoponderality and mental problems arising from the applied tests; Promoting physical activities on land and in water, in adulthood. The result of questioning the subjects subjected to the study on the evaluation of the mental status revealed the fact that they have a temporal, spatial orientation, an adequate memory and attention, as well as a reading-writing and copying capacity corresponding to the age, and the determination of the body composition was achieved with the help of the "Tanita" device through which it was found an average of the group of subjects of 43.13% fat, 25,80 % muscle mass, 6,83 % bone mass, and water 42,22 %.

Introduction. In the last decade, we are witnessing a transformation in the dynamics of the development of human morpho-functional structures, influenced by the socio-economic system. Among the harmful factors of contemporary civilization we list the lack of physical exercise as well as the inadequate diet. We start from the premise that by practicing constant physical activities we can demonstrate the influence of the morphological status of the adults under study. The aim of this work is to analyse some body composition parameters of adults who are moderately physically active. Results. The objectives of the study are: to identify how subjects practice physical activity, to raise awareness of the importance of the effects of physical exercise on health, to analyse and interpret the data recorded on body composition parameters using the Tanita apparatus. Conclusions: The practice of constant activities on adults leads to beneficial morpho-functional changes in the body, giving it a capacity to adapt to effort and increased resistance to pathogenic factors.

Abstract: Worldwide neurological disorders that particularly affect the central nervous system are a major health challenge, leading to deficits accompanied by neuromorphic sequelae with implications for the functional state of the body. Background: Current studies show that hemorrhagic stroke occurs mainly at a young age, often fatal as opposed to ischemic stroke that characterizes old age or an alert lifestyle, both types of strokes can result in motor sequelae and functional (mild, moderate or severe hemiparesis or haemiplegia). The peculiarity of the studied case is the coexistence of multiple comorbidities which require an interdisciplinary team to solve (neurologist, cardiologist, endocrinologist, physiotherapist, psychotherapist, aquatic therapy instructor). The aim of our paper is to demonstrate the efficiency of exercise in the aquatic environment, facilitating the recovery of the functions of the neuro-myo-arthro-kinetic apparatus as well as the cardiovascular and metabolic functions. Results: The main objective is general and muscular relaxation, re-education of external and proprioceptive sensitivity, orthostatic posture and gait reeducation, in conditions of stability and balance. Conclusions: Through the means of aquatic therapy, an attempt is made to obtain the independence of self-care in order to interrelate with the environment, to regain the ADLs, , the family and socio-professional reintegration of the patient.

Introduction The adult woman has a complex of endocrine metabolic changes that can influence and cause various disorders in the body regarding the decrease of functional and regulatory ca-pacities. The involuntary changes in a woman's aging highlight both the appearance and the functionality. In this sense, we intend to conduct a study on morphological changes, parameters that represent risk factors in the development of osteoporosis. Studies by Kanis (1) and Munshi (2) show that maintaining adequate bone mass as well as ensuring adequate muscle tone can prevent osteoporosis, and a pronounced incidence of the onset and development of chronic de-generative pathologies can promote fractures. Material and method. In connection with the elu-cidation of this aspect, we will use the Frax estimation method, which is based on the introduc-tion of values obtained from medical evaluations. Regarding the study, we propose to the sub-jects a therapeutic swimming program to avoid the occurrence of osteoporotic fractures. Results and discussions. Regarding the field of factors favoring the estimation of a fracture in the items regarding cortisone treatments, alcohol consumption, digestive problems, minor traumas, the investigated subjects answered with No 100%.In order to obtain objective results, the study will continue for a period of 1 year, the intermediate tests will be performed after 4 months from the beginning of the work program and at the same time the program will undergo changes, de-pending on the results obtained from the evaluations. Conclusions. The implementation of this water exercise program will lead to adaptive changes in the direction of limiting the unevolu-tionary processes of senescence.

This article discusses a study on the effects of physical exercise and therapeutic swimming on the health of menopausal and postmenopausal women with osteoporosis. The study found that both land-based exercises and exercises in water improved various parameters, including body weight, blood pressure, and heart rate. Introduction. Recently, the emphasis has been on the problems faced by performance athletes with physical deficiencies of the spine. The aim of the paper is to train coaches in awareness of physical problems, especially of the spine in swimming athletes aged 10-12 years and the development of kinetic programs on land in order to correct them. Material and method. Research on the effectiveness of kinetic programs as means of correction are very numerous and, in this regard, we aim to select the most effective exercises to correct deficiencies acquired by swimmers and change the functional parameters of the cardio-respiratory system during their training. In order to highlight the need for kinetic correction programs, the coach must work in collaboration with the sports doctor and the physiotherapist in order to prevent possible deviations from normal somatic-functional values. Results and discussions. Regarding the estimation of the adaptive possibilities of the cardio-respiratory capacity, hence the need to apply a complex of tests to assess the effort capacity of athletes. Conclusions. In this sense, we will submit to the study the performance group from the University Sports Club from Suceava, and the recovery programs will take place within the Swimming and Kinesiology Complex, Suceava. The purpose of this paper is to point out and propose the most effective means of therapeutic swimming in the use of work programs for patients with dorsalgia in spinal static disorders. The knowledge degree of therapeutic swimming is not sufficiently promoted and used, which is why we propose the following hypothesis: we start from the premise that therapeutic swimming can reduce the dorsalgia in the spine, improve lung capacity and physical condition in young adults. The objectives of this work are to identify subjects with spinal static dorsalgia and to establish the sample for the experiment; in the selection of therapeutic swimming means for the elaboration of the work program; in the registration and interpretation of the data in the form of tables and charts. The experiment took place at the Kinetic Therapy Practice of Mr. Constantinescu Mihai, as well as at the swimming pool in Cornisa, Botoşani county, with a sample consisting of 15 subjects aged between 18 and 22, all of whom suffered dorsalgia (in the spine). The paper highlights the grapevine growing units from counties located from the geographical point of view in the Getic Plateau. A number of 12 units were identified în Argeș, 4 in Olt, 9 în Vâlcea, 10 in Dolj, and 12 in Mehedinţi county, having a total aria of 3139.25 ha. From these 47 units registered at the County Agricultural Directions, 3 are public and 44 are private companies. Only one company (private, in Dolj county) cultivates grapevine in an ecological system. In the studied territory there is a large diversity of soils and grapevine varieties. In Romania the climate is temperate continental, but climate change from recent times fragmenting this climate into one with nuances of excess. This is due to large temperature variations between the hot and cold seasons, but also of large temperature differences between day and night. In addition to these aspects, the uneven distribution of precipitation as well as extremely large variations in their total quantity registered from one year to another negatively influences the growth and fruiting of grapevine plants. This paper presents methods and systems for detecting water stress in viticulture. The paper deals with the application of analytical hierarchical process (AHP) to identify and rank the most important grapevine varieties for wine from the Hills of Banat viticultural region, based on general criteria and expert's opinion. The results recommended Italian Riesling, Burgund mare and Cadarcă varieties as the valuable for this grapevine growing area. Considering that the Hills of Banat is the smallest viticultural region in Romania, it is located in one of the warmest wine zone according to EU wine zoning, and it is specialized in the production of table white and rosé wines, the present study can contribute to the establishment of a durable viticulture and the production of quality wines, of appropriate grapevine cultivars. The grapevine plants are affected annually by different pathogens which can significantly reduce the grape production. Due to the perennial nature of this plant and certain climatic factors favorable to the development of pathogens, the viticulturists are forced to use pesticides intensively to combat them. An alternative to pesticides can be the vegetal extractobteined from fifferent plant species or trees which are not toxic to grapevines and humans. Soil maintenance system has a direct effect on the diversity of fauna which is constantly changing due to the intensification of anthropogenic activities which exert strong pressures on the environment. The aim of this study was to monitor the fauna from grapevine plantation with the different soil maintenance systems and to determine the Shannon, Simpson and Equitability indices. Thus, in 2016 were identified 18 species of insects (two of which are part of the beneficial insect) and in 2017 were identified 38 species of insects (of which 9 belong to beneficial insect). These belong to the Orthoptera, Coleoptera, Hymenoptera, Mecopera, Hemiptera, Megaloptera, Lepidoptera, Dermaptera, Diptera, and Araneae orders. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this study it was aimed elaboration an "in vitro" propagation protocol for the Physalis peruviana species using seeds as a source of explants. Following the research performed, a germination rate of 90 % was obtained. Regarding the "in vitro" multiplication rate of Physalis peruviana microshoots, the results obtained have been differentiated according to the hormonal balance used. The highest number of shoots/explant (5.25 microshoots/explant) and the highest average length of the shoots (7.23 cm) were obtained on the variant in which the nutrient medium was supplemented with 0.4 mg/l ANA. The shoots were multiplied by subcultivation on the same medium. The highest rate of rooting (95 %) was registered in the case of supplementing the nutrient medium with IBA in a concentration of 1 mg/l. The rooted vitroplants have successfully accommodated to "ex vitro" conditions, achieving an acclimatized rate of 92 %. The results obtained throughout the "in vitro" regeneration phases confirm that the micropropagation technique is an efficient method of multiplication for the Physalis peruviana species. The pathogens Alternaria solani and Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici are of significant interest from a pathogenic perspective in the context of tomato cultivation. This study focuses on evaluating the fungicidal and fungistatic effects of different synthetic substances and natural compounds on the development of these two investigated pathogens. The fungicidal agents employed comprised fosetyl aluminum at a concentration of 0.3%, azoxystrobin at 0.2%, and metiram at 0.3%, while the natural extracts investigated included those derived from European birthwort, celandine and sage, each tested at concentrations of 0.5%, 2%, 9%, and 15%. The assessment of mycelial growth inhibition was conducted utilizing Vincent’s formula. Additionally, the total polyphenol content (TPC) within the extracts was determined via the Folin-Ciocalteu spectrophotometric method in accordance with Frum et al. (2022). Furthermore, the antioxidant capacity of the extracts was evaluated using the DPPH radical scavenging method (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Our research findings yielded noteworthy results, specifically, extracts derived from sage and celandine, particularly when present at a concentration of 15%, exhibited a fungistatic effect. This effect was particularly remarkable when compared to the performance of the synthetic fungicide azoxystrobin at a concentration of 0.2% when challenged with the Alternaria pathogen. These results suggest the potential utility of sage and celandine extracts as eco-friendly alternatives for mitigating fungal pathogens in tomato crops, warranting further investigation and consideration within agricultural practices.
