This paper presents a study of the features, problems, and prospects of implementing knowledge and information systems in the fight against climate change, which are based on the digital management of knowledge and information systems. We demonstrate practices that are applied in Norway and China and determine the key directions for implementing these technologies. We confirm the offered research hypothesis on the effect of such components as finances, infrastructure, and digital readiness of the workforce for the implementation of new ICT. We also establish the prospects for an increase in the effectiveness of the realisation of the consideration process in the conditions of mass implementation of sectorial technologies and the focus on global climate integration in China and Norway. The objective of this research is to identify the directions for tackling climate change in the digital economy that are focused on green management of knowledge and information systems. The methods used in this work include the method of scientific abstraction, comparison, statistical analysis, and factor analysis. The scientific novelty of this research consists in the establishment of the directions for digitalization of environmental growth in the conditions of climate change and the quick emergence of innovative ICT.

We set a research hypothesis on the influence of the formation of international economic relations of countries on the effectiveness of knowledge and information systems management in the digital economy. We substantiate the features of the connection between these two components, which confirm the hypothesis. We consider the results of the manifestation of two forms of cooperation, which emerged due to the effect of the digital economy and due to the improvement of international economic relations between partner countries. Growth of investments in the implementation of these forms of interaction allows achieving significant results in case of favourable conditions for financial activities and R&D in countries in which businesses of partner countries are located (taxation, terms of rent, infrastructure, etc.). It is shown that activities of partner countries at the political level towards the creation of advantages for the integration of international business ensure mutual implementation of bilateral obligations in support and interaction. The goal of this paper is to identify the connection between international economic relations and the level of implementing digital technologies in the sphere of knowledge and information systems management. To reach this goal, we use the following research methods: the complex method, the comparative method, the statistical method, and the trends method. The scientific novelty of this research consists in determining the features of new forms of cooperation in the business environment in the conditions of transformation of international economic relations.

This paper presents the assessment of the formation of economic integration in the EAEU as the basis for improving the management of knowledge and information systems in the digital economy. The goal of the paper was to find the specifics of the influence of economic integration on the level of formation of information systems and knowledge management in the digital economy in countries of the EAEU and the EAEU on the whole. In the course of the research, we studied the factual state, problems, and perspectives of the influence of the tools of the digital economy on the level of economic integration in the EAEU member countries. It was also determined that the programme principles of the EAEU influence the support for the intellectualisation of partnership (unification of knowledge management and information systems). We proved the hypothesis about the direct dependence between the formation of conditions of economic integration and the level of the digital economy in the EAEU member countries, which demonstrated the necessity of improving these components as the precondition of economic growth. The methods of classification, comparison, and ranking analysis were used, as well as the factor method. Based on the conducted analysis, we determined the effectiveness of interaction of the EAEU member countries, the perspective of improvement of the digital environment given the main sectors, and the possibility of adapting the experience of each member country given the similarity of the systems of state management.

The modern economy is gradually losing the course of industrial growth and promotion of the goals of an increase in consumption, which is predetermined by the state of ecology and its influence on the health and viability of the current and next generations. New economic solutions and transformations of spheres are connected with the course at the creation of a well-balanced economic ecosystem, which ensures the environmental friendliness of products - as the top-priority indicator of their quality. Program goals of the UN in the sphere of sustainable development of ecology cover the main priorities in this direction. This paper was aimed at the determination and assessment of the directions for the achievement of environmental friendliness of products as a measure of products' quality at the level of certain leading production in the context of management from the position of sustainable development. The methodological basis of this paper is the method of systematisation, induction, and comparative analysis. We systematised the main directions for ensuring the environmental friendliness of products (as the indicator of quality), which include the implementation of responsible production and consumption (organic products); and implementation of climate measures to reduce harmful emissions in the environment (smart production, issue of analogue products). We distinguished countries and leading companies in the sphere of implementation of these directions of the achievement of the UN goals in the sphere of sustainable development. The scientific novelty of this paper consists in determining the specific features of positive directions for improvement of the ecosystem of countries and regions due to an increase in environmental friendliness of products, as the indicators of quality.

The study is devoted to determining the consequences of the digitalization of society in the era of the development of intelligent machines from the perspective of spirituality. Using the regression analysis method, econometric modeling of the impact of the spread of artificial intelligence (according to Tortois) on human development (according to UNDP) in 2022 is carried out. The obtained quantitative results are complemented by qualitative research based on the methodology of neo-institutionalism using a critical analysis method to identify hidden threats of artificial intelligence for spirituality, not reflected in official statistics. As a result, it was concluded that the spread of artificial intelligence has a contradictory impact on society. A quantitative analysis of official statistics showed that the spread of artificial intelligence not only does not slow down, but even accelerates human development. At the same time, qualitative analysis pointed to hidden threats to the digitalization of society in the era of the development of intelligent machines for spirituality, requiring attention and neutralization by managing the spread of artificial intelligence. A scientific interpretation of these potential problems of the spread of artificial intelligence as “institutional traps” is given. These include: 1) the “trap” of the transition from human-inspired labor to impersonal production in the process of automation; 2) the “trap” of the spiritual and moral assessment of the release of personnel under the influence of automation; 3) the “trap” of eliminating the spiritual component from social communications during their transition to a human-machine format; 4) the “trap” of distortion of spirituality in the “distorting mirror” of artificial intelligence when mindlessly copying people’s social and moral assessments; 5) the “trap” of the transition from spiritual and moral understanding of the situation to “blind faith” in artificial intelligence with intellectual support for decision-making (rationality = soullessness). The uniqueness of the article and its theoretical significance lies in the fact that it was the first to reveal and systematize the socio-ethical aspects of the spread of artificial intelligence. The practical significance of the new scientific results obtained in the article is due to the fact that they revealed the prospect of improving the management of the spread of artificial intelligence. In order to minimize the risk of personality degradation, that is, to achieve consistent comprehensive human development in the era of the development of intelligent machines, it is recommended to pay attention to issues of spirituality. This will ensure the humanization of artificial intelligence, thereby optimizing its impact on society.

The purpose of the article is to determine the role of knowledge and technology management in improving the quality of business 4.0 products. Based on statistics for 63 countries in 2022, as well as knowledge and technology, an econometric model of product quality management in business 4.0 has been constructed.The model revealed, along with the contradictory influence of knowledge on the quality of business 4.0 products, a reliable and consistent pattern of systematic growth in the quality of business 4.0 products as industrial designs by origin, as well as the growth of production and export complexity increase.A scenario analysis of the prospects for improving product quality in business 4.0 depending on knowledge and technology management was conducted. The author's forecast for the "Decade of Action" (until 2030) showed that the most promising and preferred of the alternatives considered is the scenario of the development of technically complex products with advanced industrial design in business 4.0.The main conclusion is that the key factor of a new type of business - business 4.0, which was formed under the influence of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, is technology, while human resources have receded into the background.The theoretical significance of the results is due to the fact that they revealed the prospects for improving the competitiveness of business 4.0, for which it is recommended to reduce the share of human-intensive economic processes and proportionally increase the share of automated processes.The originality of the research lies in reconsideration of the importance of such factors of production as human and technological resources in the conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, taking into account the little-studied experience of a new type of business - business 4.0.Management implications consist in the fact that the article offers an innovative approach to corporate social responsibility, whose efforts are proposed to focus on improving product quality in business 4.0. The author's recommendations contribute to unlocking the potential for improving product quality, as well as increasing the effectiveness of quality management in business 4.0.

The article reveals the unique experience of Russia and other CIS countries, which are fast-growing digital economies with a dynamically developing industry 4.0, as well as free migration. The purpose of this article is to study the prospects for improving quality management in Industry 4.0 based on educational and labor migration in Russia and other CIS countries. It is proved using econometric modeling of the experience of Russia and other CIS countries using regression analysis based on data for 2021 that immigration does not allow attracting highly qualified personnel for industry 4.0, but emigration does not lead to the loss of highly qualified personnel for industry 4.0.Alternative scenarios of quality change in industry 4.0 in Russia and other CIS countries have been created, which are based on the flows of educational and labor migration in the "Decade of Action" (in the period up to 2030). The scenario of filtration of incoming and freedom of outgoing migration flow has proved to be the best, since the optimization of educational and labor migration flows provides the highest rates of qualitative growth of industry 4.0 in Russia and other CIS countries by 223.96% with a probability of 46.5%.To implement this scenario, a promising model of migration flow management has been proposed to improve the quality of Industry 4.0 products in Russia and other CIS countries. The theoretical significance of the results obtained in the articleis that they clarified the role that the migration mechanism has on the quality management of Industry 4.0 products, taking into account the unique experience of Russia and other CIS countries.The practical significance of the authors' conclusions and recommendations is that they make it possible to improve the effectiveness of quality management in industry 4.0 based on educational and labor migration in Russia and other CIS countries.

The purpose of the article is to define new horizons of economic integration in the EAEU based on educational and labor migration, provided that quality improvement in industry 4.0 is chosen as the key vector of this integration. Using the trend analysis method, changes in the incoming and outgoing migration flow to the EAEU in 2010-2019 have been determined. The influence of migration flows in the EAEU on the product quality in Industry 4.0 has been identified using the regression analysis method. As a result, it has been revealed that economic integration in the EAEU gives a powerful new impetus to the development of migration processes in these countries. The econometric model obtained during the study showed that the quality of Industry 4.0 products in the EAEU improves with an increase in incoming and a decrease in outgoing migration flows. The originality of this study lies in the fact that it proposes a new approach to economic integration in the EAEU, in which the management of educational and labor migration flows is rethought as a tool for the implementation of the common vector of Eurasian integration: quality improvement in industry 4.0 The authors have proposed a framework strategy for improving migration policy in the EAEU until 2025 to icrease the quality in industry 4.0. The implications for migration policy are related to the fact that the developed algorithm for managing educational and labor migration in the EAEU will prevent brain drain, strengthen the culture of the "knowledge society" and attract the best personnel from around the world for Industry 4.0 in the EAEU. The article substantiates new horizons of economic integration in the EAEU for improving migration management to increase quality in industry 4.0, namely: the creation of competence centers, innovation networks and integration associations in industry 4.0.

We elaborate on the features of the impact of smart farms (technologies), used for the improvement of product quality, on the UN SDGs that are connected with food security and sustainable development of the agrarian sector. The presented specifics of the implementation of smart technologies are considered in the context of the creation of farms, which structure and organisation are based on innovative digital, genetic and process solutions (experience of China) and in the context of the use of certain optimisation solutions (experience of other leading countries in the sphere of agriculture). We show the necessity to solve the problems of product quality through the implementation of technologies that can oppose climate change and are aimed at environmental protection. The methods used in this work include the method of complex analysis, statistical method and method of classification. The scientific novelty of this research lies in the identification of the modern characteristics of the influence of smart farms (technologies), used for the increase in product quality, on the social and economic Sustainable Development Goals.

The central question of this study concerns the emergence of the Russian development model over the past decade. It highlights that this development model could be a blueprint for other emerging markets. Russia is one of the leaders of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, having improved its standing in international ratings for quality of life, human development, sustainable development, innovation, and high technology. Russia's experience can be helpful to developing countries. We study and evaluate innovation in a digital business society amid technological turmoil competing with artificial intelligence. We focus on the digital competitiveness index, the density of robots in industry, and unemployment, thereby building a novel comprehensive dataset of the economy's systemic socioeconomic and technological development under the conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. We draw attention to Russia's new business environment that exhibits valuable specifics (e.g., emerging institutions and imperfect competition as clouds in the business landscape) shaped by its current transitional character. We estimate that technological progress will ensure digitalization, the prevention of extended unemployment, and the achievement of full-scale automation. Russia's innovation policy has substantial advantages for emerging market settings. This study also shows that institutionalizing the new approach provides enduring digital economy advantages for emerging markets, including effectiveness, progressiveness, and sustainability.

The article is devoted to determining the role of climate innovation for the practice of quality management of enterprises in industry 4.0. To do this, it conducts an empirical study of climate innovation in the international practice of quality management of enterprises of industry 4.0 in 2023, based on statistics by the end of 2022, using methods of regression, correlation and trend analysis, as well as variation analysis. As a result, the impact of innovation on product quality 4.0 from the standpoint of climate sustainbility has been identified and quantified. It has been established that ICT and infrastructure, staffing, organization of production and innovation funding for industry 4.0 determine the quality of 4.0 from the standpoint of climate sustainability to a much greater extent than the climate-related features of innovation in industry 4.0. The article reveals a pattern of changes in the impact of innovation on quality during neoindustrialization 4.0. This pattern is that innovation increasingly reduces quality 4.0 from the point of view of climate sustainbility in the course of neoindustrialization 4.0. The theoretical significance of the article lies in the fact that it has formed a new climate dimension of quality 4.0 in the "Decade of Action", embodied in the authors’ concept of climate TQM 4.0 and taking into account the environmental properties of products 4.0 in determining and managing its quality. The practical significance of the article is related to the fact that the proposed authors' recommendations will improve the quality of 4.0 through climate optimization of innovation. The managerial significance of the article is that the developed new approach to quality management of enterprises in industry 4.0 with the help of climate innovation has rethought this management practice through the prism of the stages of the innovation process. The approach includes management measures of climate TQM 4.0 at each stage of the innovation process.

Research focuses on the problem of incompleteness and unreliability of the existing scientific vision of the formation and development of a market economy in Russia. In the current vision, the boundaries of the stages of formation and development of a market economy in Russia are blurred, the transition to a market path of economic development has an ambiguous interpretation in the scientific literature and is mainly associated with the 1990s. The lack of a clear understanding of the essence, sequence and continuity of the stages of formation and development of a market economy in Russia causes the uncertainty of the current stage of this process. The purpose of this research is to develop a systematic scientific vision of the process of evolution of a market economy in Russia. The study provides a historical review of the formation and development of a market economy in Russia based on the works of Doctor of Economics, prof. L.S. Shakhovskaya, who stood at the origins of the formation of the scientific concept of the market economy of Russia and in her works reflected in detail the essence and features of each stage of its evolution. This article is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Professor L.S. Shakhovskaya, was written by her students who are developing the scientific school founded by her. The proposed new scientific vision of the process of evolution of the market economy in Russia, which clearly determined the three stages of its evolution. The first stage (1991-1999) was associated with the transition from a planned to an open industrial market economy through privatization and deregulation. The second stage: (2000-2013) was the integration of Russia into the world economic system to form an open post-industrial market economy. The third (modern) stage (2014-2031) involves the strengthening of strategic academic and technological leadership for the transition to a neo-industrial market economy 4.0 through ensuring technological sovereignty. Research contributes to the development of scientific and economic thought through the formation of a systematic scientific vision of the process of evolution of the market economy in Russia, which rethought and clarified the history of the market economy in Russia, and also clarified the meaning of its current stage by reflecting its continuity and patterns of occurrence. The scientific novelty of the system vision is that it proved for the first time that the transition period is a whole set of periods involving the transformation of market relations with various targets and management measures.

This paper is devoted to establishing the consequences of integrating CSR into the marketing mix for financial risks in modern companies. Based on the international statistics for 2023, we compiled a regression model of the dependence of financial risks on the integration of CSR into their marketing mix. Based on that, we developed a new system approach to managing companies’ sustainable development. Its features are marketing management of the sustainable development of companies, systemic management of social and financial risks to companies, and implementation of risk management through integrating CSR into the marketing mix. The main conclusion is that the sustainable development of companies in the Decade of Action requires a systemic integration of CSR into the marketing mix, for this will allow for the simultaneous reduction of social and financial risks. The theoretical significance of this conclusion consists in the disclosure of previously unknown cause-and-effect relationships between CSR and financial risks to companies, which are explained in this paper through the lens of the elements of the marketing mix in the 7P model. The originality of this research consists in developing novel marketing tools for the systemic management of social and financial risks for companies with the help of CSR. The practical significance relates to the fact that the offered recommendations on the more complete integration of CSR into their marketing mix will allow reducing financial risks and ensuring sustainable development of Russian companies in the Decade of Action (until 2030). The managerial significance is as follows: the developed system approach to managing companies’ sustainable development will improve the practice of risk management in companies due to previously unavailable joint management and the general reduction of social and financial risks.

This paper examines how labour productivity will increase in future workplaces that employ human resources and machine technologies. This paper expands the concept of intelligent machines as systems of automating labour based on robots and artificial intelligence. Furthermore, it aims to develop recommendations for improving productivity by managing competition and marketing in current global labour markets. We model the dependence of output per worker on robots’ international distribution, the ease of hiring foreign labour, and the dependence on pay and productivity. As a result of this research, labour productivity is defined by human resource availability and not through automation. The study develops comprehensive guidance for economic policy in the global labour market for the medium-term period. Management implications include representing a vision for the future of workplaces drawn on the productivity benefits of different workplace models that stimulate growth in labour efficiency. The recommended concept validates how innovation and digitalisation reshape the workplace.

This article delves into social entrepreneurship experience and fills a void in the extant literature by determining the post-COVID perspective contribution of social entrepreneurship activities. The research presents a nuanced perspective on the potential impact of social entrepreneurship on sustainable development across various geographical areas. We highlight an essential discovery that social entrepreneurship impacts sustainable development across diverse geographical regions. When addressing the COVID-19 pandemic, we must consider economic reasoning, theoretical implications, and geographical and socio-economic factors. Such considerations would significantly contribute to our collective efforts to overcome this global crisis. Adopting a strategic and effective method towards social entrepreneurship can accelerate the achievement of SDGs and promote equitable, sustainable development.

The digital economy's neo-industrialization self-accelerates resource consumption and wide automatization inevitably envisage a technological leap. The article contributes conceptually and empirically to a systemic vision of blockchain to sort out climate change challenges and clean energy transition and simultaneously increase the productivity and efficiency of good practices. This vision covers the popularization of ecological initiatives, waste reduction, organization of sustainable investments, control over responsibilities on both fighting and forecasting climate change and clean energy transition. By embracing the notion of blockchain as a problem-solving tool for climate change and clean energy transition, the paper draws and investigates the experiences of the 36 digitally developed and 25 digitally developing economies. It also examines the effectiveness of alternative practices in Industry 4.0. The paper's findings represent a systematic vision of implementing blockchain initiatives to solve climate change and clean energy transition. An energy-efficient model with a blockchain opens up massive opportunities for ecological monitoring, supports energy transition and ameliorates economic sustainability. Since the blockchain potential is not fully unlocked, a model expanding the use of blockchain in education to train green personnel and in science to support climate innovations is proposed.

The article is devoted to the study of the experience of change management for sustainable business development in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and crisis in Russia and France. It uses a sample of 94 publicly traded French healthcare companies in 2021 to model change management for sustainable business development in France during the COVID-19 pandemic and crisis. Based on OECD and WIPO statistics for 2019-2021 and the trend analysis method monitors the practical experience of change management for sustainable business development in Russia and France in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and crisis. Based on the 2020-2021 survey materials. the case experience of Russian business in managing change in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and crisis is being studied. The contribution of the article to the literature is to identify, using the example of Russia and France, a new (alternative) - socially-oriented approach to managing changes in business, based on corporate social responsibility.

The purpose of this paper is to study and reconsider the order of implementing temporary government regulation of commodity prices in the EAEU from the positions of quality and to develop recommendations for improving this order for the comprehensive fight against poverty and support for the middle class amid economic crises. This paper is based on the scientific provisions of the systems approach. The authors perform economic and mathematical modelling of the influence of implementing temporary government regulation of commodity prices on their quality in the EAEU based on the method of regression analysis. For the qualitative research of the practical experience of implementing temporary government regulation of commodity prices in the EAEU amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the method of case study is used. The scientific novelty of this paper consists in the fact that it is for the first time that the order of implementing temporary government regulation of commodity prices in the EAEU is treated from the positions of quality. The originality of this paper consists in the systemic view at the quality of life and the well-balanced consideration - during the determination of its level - of not only the inflation factor (price affordability of commodities) but also the factor of quality of commodities (level of satisfying population's needs during consumption of goods).

This paper is devoted to the resolution of the problem of risk management in a high-risk market environment. The goal of this paper was to study the experience of and prospects for the use of responsible innovations as tools for managing the financial risks of high-tech companies’ projects for their sustainable development (using the example of companies in Russia’s IT sphere in 2022–2023). We used the SEM method to study the daily statistics of the Moscow Exchange in 2022–2023. As a result, we quantitatively measured the financial risks of Russian companies in the IT sphere in 2022–2023. The studied case experience of the IT sphere in 2022 confirmed that Russian high-tech companies actively implement responsible innovations based on ESG projects. Our main conclusion is that the financial risks of high-tech companies are reduced in the case of the implementation of responsible innovations. Therefore, it is advisable to implement responsible innovations for the sustainable development of high-tech companies in a high-risk market environment. The theoretical significance of our conclusions lies in the substantiation of the synergetic effect of financial risk management with the help of responsible innovations. The scientific novelty and contribution of this paper to the literature consist in its clarifying the sectorial (in the IT sphere) and market (in a high-risk market environment) specifics of managing the financial risks to companies. We also disclosed a poorly studied and largely unknown unique and leading experience of managing the financial risks of Russian high-tech companies in 2022–2023. The practical significance of our recommendations is that the compiled scenario can be used as a strategic benchmark for the most complete development of the potential of the sustainable development of Russian high-tech companies in 2024.

Considering the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, higher education must play a significant role in the social-investment model of economic growth. To what extent higher education supports strategic academic leadership and high-tech economic development is still being determined. The article proposes direct actions for improving university management through higher educational and technological functions. We establish the specific directions for university management in neo-industrialization 4.0 to ensure extensive accessibility of higher education and enhance university management efficiency.

Abstract This paper investigates international experiences and perspectives on how entrepreneurs can improve management practices while minimizing the COVID-19 pandemic’s social drama. The paper probes how companies deal with the myriad challenges they face amid the unfolding pandemic and how these processes’ economic and cultural dimensions may exert an enduring effect. A novel dataset analyses how entrepreneurs manage the change of management processes in a sample of ten countries. Three economic impacts on entrepreneurs caused by the pandemic were observed: (1) a deficit as a result of social distancing reduced due to the growth of Internet retailing; (2) a deficit resulting from a fall in demand decreased due to innovations that mitigate this demand-side change; (3) a social crisis in the labour market due to social distance and relocating many employees to remote working practices. In countries with the most considerable number of cases of COVID-19, it is recommended that attitudes towards entrepreneurial risk be raised. In countries with the vastest number of fatal cases per 100,000 people, implications for change management in entrepreneurship are an increase in Internet retailing level, a reduction in entrepreneurial fear of failure, and an increase in entrepreneurial risk awareness. Besides, an anonymous sociological survey among companies’ directors and managers in Russia on management initiatives taken on between late 2020–early 2021 shows that companies maintain a 60.21% readiness for such systemic challenges while their readiness for change increased under the influence of the pandemic. The contribution to the literature of this article lies in rethinking the COVID-19 crisis from the standpoint of social drama, which made it possible to clarify the cause-and-effect relationships of change management in entrepreneurship. For the first time, the paper proposes systemic—socio-economic recommendations for improving the practice of change management against the background of such a social drama.

The research aims to identify the most promising regulatory and marketing tools for business risk management in the COVID-19 crisis and develop recommendations for improving the practice of these tools from a post-pandemic perspective. This paper is devoted to the scientific search for answers to two research questions: RQ1: What tactical tools of business risk management are most effective in the COVID-19 crisis? RQ2: How to carry out strategic risk management of the business from a post-COVID perspective? The authors perform dataset modeling of business risks in the COVID-19 crisis and data analysis of the post-pandemic perspective of managing these risks, relying on data for 2016–2023, reflecting international experience in a representative sample. The key conclusion of this research is that the most complete and effective business risk management in times of COVID-19 crisis requires the integrated application of tools of state and corporate governance, that is, two-tier management: At the state and business levels. On this basis, the authors recommended applying the systemic approach to business risk management in times of the COVID-19 crisis, which includes a set of the most effective regulatory (financial support from the state budget and protectionism) and marketing (use of big data and analytics) tools of business risk management. The practical significance of the research results is that the recommended systemic approach to using regulatory and marketing tools can improve the effectiveness of tactical and strategic risk management in the COVID-19 crisis, thereby increasing business resilience to this crisis. The novelty is due to the fact that we selected the most effective tools of business risk management under the conditions of the COVID-19 crisis and proved the necessity to combine the tools of state and corporate management, which are substantiated, for the first time, not as mutually interchangeable, but complementary practices of risk management in the unique context of the COVID-19 crisis.

This paper is devoted to finding the importance of the factors of industrial and manufacturing engineering for fighting a virus threat and to substantiating the perspectives of increasing quality in the healthcare sphere of based on digitalization and Industry 4.0. The authors perform quantitative analysis of the influence of the factors of industrial and manufacturing engineering on quality of fight against the virus threat in comparison with the traditional factors. A qualitative treatment of the advantages of digitalization and Industry 4.0 with the help of industrial and manufacturing engineering for increasing the quality in fight against the virus threat is provided. The perspectives are modeled and recommendations are developed for increasing the quality of fight against the virus threat based on digitalization and Industry 4.0, with the help of industrial and manufacturing engineering. Originality and advantages of the research consist in the fact that successfulness of fight against the virus threat is treated not from the positions of resources (expenditures) but from the positions of results - quality. Due to this, the research contributes to formation of a concept of healthcare, which is oriented at the result and which guarantees high quality of medical services. Importance of the research is predetermined by determining the role of the technological factors (industrial and manufacturing engineering) in provision of quality of fighting the virus threat. Significance of the performed research for development of scientific knowledge consists in provision of substantiation and practical recommendations for applying a new - digital - approach to fight against the virus threat.

The research aims at specifying the scientific treatment of quality of goods and services in the conditions of the knowledge economy through the prism of correlation of traditions and innovations. The paper contains a case study by the example of modern Russia - as one of the countries with the most developed knowledge economy. The author develops a new method of collection of factual data for determining the correlation of traditions and innovations during treatment of quality of goods and services in the knowledge economy by the example of modern Russia. The methodology of the research includes the regression analysis and factor analysis. As a result of the research, scientific treatment of quality of goods and services in the conditions of the knowledge economy is specified through the prism of correlation of traditions and innovations. It is determined that in modern Russia (2019) the consumers pay a lot of attention to the indicators of innovations during determination of quality of goods and services. Consumers' opinion is taken into account in modern Russia. Quality of the considered goods and services in 2019 grew, as compared to 2015, due to improvement of their innovative characteristics. Based on this, it is recommended - in the mid-term - to continue the set course of state and corporate management of quality of goods and services in Russia and to pay more attention to improvement of their innovative characteristics.

The purpose of the research is to develop the scientific and theoretical basis for measuring the quality of various digital products, determining this quality in modern Russia, and compiling recommendations for their management in the interests of their increase. The author performs differentiation of quality of various digital products and evaluation of the current quality of digital products in Russia and develops recommendations for increasing the quality of digital products in Russia. The author also develops the scientific and methodological approach to measuring the quality of digital product. Difference between the characteristics of quality for digital products of various types is substantiated, and the scientific and theoretical basis for measuring this quality is formed. By the example of the digital economy of modern Russia it is shown that quality of digital products of various types is too differentiated and differs from quality of a generalized digital product. The algorithm of managing the quality of digital products is developed, which allows optimizing spending of managerial resources and taking into account the specifics of digital products of all types.

This paper focuses on the current theoretical views of venture capital that predetermines a ''narrow'' treatment. In the light of the existing ''narrow'' treatment, venture investors seek private commercial interests in financial support for Industry 4.0, ignoring other interests that fall beyond the limits of the current ''narrow'' treatment of venture capital. A ''wide'' treatment of venture capital 4.0 proposed in this paper allows for improving venture investors' market strategies. Implementing this treatment, they will strive for providing a whole range of advantages for society. Due to this novel approach, venture capital 4.0 might become a tool of corporate social responsibility. To substantiate this novel approach, this paper considers data for 2020 that reflect the influence of venture capital 4.0 on the economy in the period of its stability for 33 countries of the OECD, including developed and developing countries. Econometric modelling based on the official statistics data proves that Industry 4.0 venture capital will help achieve such growth goals as innovative development, global competitiveness, and increasing digital competitiveness. The limitations of this research are due to the impossibility of achieving such goals as sustainable development, economic growth, and implementation of human potential; what's more, the specifics of developing countries have not been studied sufficiently. The conclusions are oriented mainly at developed countries and could merely partially be applied to developing countries. During further research, it is expedient to explore – more thoroughly – the experience of the influence of Industry 4.0 venture capital on emerging economies.

The motivation for the research was the suddenness of the COVID-19 pandemic and the unavailability of health measures (well-established treatment and vaccination) at the beginning of 2020, which caused an uncontrollable increase in the incidence of disease worldwide and high mortality. The research aims to conduct a dataset analysis of pandemic risks and risk management perspectives based on management and marketing during the COVID-19 recession. The dataset aggregated the statistics on management, marketing, and morbidity during COVID-19 for most countries worldwide that provide data for international statistics (141 countries). Using the developed methodological approach, the authors evaluate the contribution of management and marketing in the fight against the viral threat. The authors calculated specific indices that reflect the contribution of each management and marketing factor separately to combat the viral threat in the second and third trimesters of 2020. The novelty of this research lies in the fact that the dataset study provides a systemic coverage of international experience and develops a universal economic approach to pandemic risk management. The theoretical significance of the research findings is that they reveal differences in the capabilities of economic risk management of a pandemic as the viral threat changes. The practical significance of the research lies in the fact that the results obtained in the third trimester of 2020 make it possible to adjust the policy of the state and corporate risk management of the COVID-19 pandemic during the subsequent pandemic waves, in the post-pandemic period, and in future epidemics and pandemics. Economic measures fill the existing gap, making up for the lack of risk management measures in the early phases of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the conditions of Industry 4.0, quality of economic growth is treated through the prism of its innovational, hi-tech, and marketing characteristics, which are traditionally different in developed and developing countries. Based on the law of the transformation of quantity into quality, the following hypothesis is offered: qualitative characteristics of the national product have to determine its quantitative characteristics - growth rate - and management of economic growth could and should be performed on the basis of quality of the national product in the conditions of Industry 4.0 in view of specifics of developed and developing countries.

The goal of this paper is to prove the necessity for a more thorough consideration and more active use of the modern ICTs for the technological support for the practical implementation of the SDGs’ ecological block in the aspect of the increase of energy efficiency and environmental pollution control. The originality of this paper is as follows: it develops a proprietary methodology of evaluating the technical readiness (level of the development of ICTs) for implementing the ecological block of the SDGs, which envisage the increase of energy efficiency and the growth of environmental pollution control. The highest (but moderate) technological readiness to implement the ecological block of the SDGs among developed countries has been shown by Canada (14.42 points) and Denmark (11.03 points), among developing countries—China (7.72 points). As a result, it has been proved that UCTs are a perspective tool of the practical implementation of the ecological block of the SDGs, stimulating the increase of energy efficiency and improving the environment pollution control. For developed countries, it is recommended to increase the use of Big data and AI analytics by 90.36% and increase the use of ICTs in E-government by 89.74%. This will allow achieving the growth of energy efficiency by 8.28% and the decrease of environmental pollution by 28.41%. In developing countries, it is recommended to increase world robots distribution by 14.17% and increase the use of ICTs in E-government by 76.74%. This will allow increasing the energy efficiency by 16.77% and decreasing the level of environmental pollution by 15.54%. This paper’s contribution to literature (innovative aspect of research) consists in filling the gap of the uncertainty (underdevelopment) of the tools for practical implementation of the SDGs ecological block. This paper has demonstrated the substantial potential of ICTs in the stimulation of the growth of energy efficiency and reduction of environmental pollution in developed and developing countries.

The article shows the possibilities of Data Set “Interactive Statistics and Intelligent Analytics of the Balanced State of the Regional Economy of Russia in Terms of Big Data and Blockchain – 2020”. For creation of the data set, we formed time rows of the values of the selected indicators, which characterize the balance of Russia's regional economy. The indicators are systematized and classified into two categories. The first category includes the indicators of the level of socio-economic development: GDP per capita and “underdevelopment whirlpools”, balanced financial result of companies’ activities, population's employment level, and balance of the regional budget, calculated by finding the difference between revenues and expenditures. The second category includes the indicators of potential of socio-economic development: investments into fixed capital per capita, share of innovations-active organizations, share of innovative products, and digitization level. The data are collected in a table, based on which – with the help of programming and web-design – a data set is created – an interactive platform for working with data. The data set is available in Russian and English at the official web-site of the Institute of Scientific Communications [12]. The data set unifies and transfers into the digital form the data on the level and potential of Russia's regions’ potential of socio-economic development. The data set allows for flexible setting of data for any research. The data set allows – based on the statistics of a region's socio-economic development – determining its position in the Russian national ranking, category by the “TRMS” matrix, calculating the integral index for each region, and comparing its values. Using the proprietary methodology of calculation of “underdevelopment whirlpools” of Prof. Popkova, the data set reflects the balance of Russia's regional economy in 2005–2024. The data set allows for automatic visualization of data by creating a blockchain polygon of region's socio-economic development, which includes the chronogram of the region's development and the process of region's pulling into an “underdevelopment whirlpool”. The data set's data are presented in the form of an interactive map of Russia's regional economy. Map's color shows categories that are assigned to regions and the borders of regions, as well as information on each region's position in the 2020 rating. The data set allows for large-scale studies of Russia's regional economy with application of technologies of Big Data processing, machine learning, and intellectual analytics.

The relevance of this study lies in the fact that financial risk is a serious obstacle to the development of social entrepreneurship, preventing the implementation of potential support for sustainable development goals in business. The purpose of this article is to clarify specific aspects of financing factors and financial risk related to social entrepreneurship in developing countries (in comparison with the standard financial risk related to commercial entrepreneurship) in order to analyze the influence of the financing factors of social entrepreneurship on sustainable development, as well as to determine the potential for the development of social entrepreneurship through financial risk management. To achieve this goal, this article uses the methodology of econometrics—dataset modelling of financial risk management in social entrepreneurship to achieve sustainable development in emerging economies. On the basis of the results of this study, firstly, it is substantiated that the financial risks entailed by social entrepreneurship differ from the standard financial risk present in commercial entrepreneurship. Specific factors of the financing of sustainable development in emerging economies are determined and, on the basis of this, financial risks specific to social entrepreneurship in emerging economies are identified as follows: (1) reduced stimulus to use financial resources in long-term investments, which disrupts the stability and decreases inclusion; (2) joint public–private investments and decreased investment in R&D; and (3) expanded investment in the skills required for jobs and “markets of tomorrow”. Secondly, a contradictory influence of financing factors on sustainable development is demonstrated. Thirdly, a large potential for the development of social entrepreneurship by means of financial risk management (maximum reduction) was identified. With the minimization of financial risk, social entrepreneurship would demonstrate substantial progress, with an increase of 99.61% (more than 50%) from 45.18 points to 90.18 points. A novel contribution of this paper to the extant literature consists of the specification of the essence and specifics of social entrepreneurship in emerging economies through the identification of financial risks and the provision of recommendations for their management.
