The iOS system is a computing platform and together is a promising modern environment for the development of various multimedia applications. Using the resources of this platform, the user of the mobile gadget appear essentially unlimited opportunities to create different audio signals. In terms of working with sound, Apple is ahead of its competitors, and this is no accident. The company offers good tools for playing, recording and processing tracks. Thanks to this, on the AppStore you can see a huge number of applications that somehow work with audio content. These include players with good sound (Vox), audio editors with tools for editing and applying effects (Sound Editor), voice changing applications (Voicy Helium), and various musical instrument simulators that give a fairly accurate simulation of the corresponding sound (Virtuoso Piano) , and even simulators DJ-installations (X Djing). To work with audio, Apple provides the AVFoundation framework, which combines several tools. If you need to impose any effect, play several tracks at the same time, mix them, do processing or editing audio, or record sound from the output of a certain audio node, AVAudioEngine will help you with this. Most of all this class attracts the possibility of imposing effects on the track. Just on the basis of these effects is built a lot of applications with equalizers and the ability to change the voice. In addition, Apple allows developers to create their own effects, sound generators and instruments. The algorithm for the study of the most common sound effects based on the use of the capabilities of the iOS information platform has been built. The Model-View-Controller Architecture is described in the form of application components, which is the basis for an experiment on analyzing the features of multimedia content based on the use of mobile gadgets and a special programming language. A simple algorithm for using special frames in an XCode environment was constructed, which allowed testing on a selected sample a series of sound effects. It has been found that the built-in algorithm for analysis of samples based on iOS resources can greatly simplify the process of studying sound signals of various nature, because the simulator tools are described through the code of the programming language, and therefore their configuration is a clear approach to the analysis. In addition, the described elements in the article can be used to create their own sound effects, and at various stages of the design of virtual sound generators.Ref. 7, fig. 6, tabl. 1., Построен алгоритм исследования наиболее распространенных звуковых эффектов на основе использования возможностей информационной платформы iOS. Описаны архитектуру "Модель-вид-контроллер" в форме компонентов приложения, является базовым основанием к проведению эксперимента по анализу особенностей мультимедийного контента на основе использования мобильных гаджетов и специального языка программирования. Построен простой алгоритм использования специальных фреймворков в среде XCode, который позволил провести тестирование на выбранном семпле ряд звуковых эффектов. Найдено, построенный алгоритм анализа сэмплов на основе ресурсов iOS позволяет значительно упростить сам процесс исследования звуковых сигналов различной природы, потому что инструменты симулятора описываются через код языка программирования, и, следовательно, их настройки понятно подходом к проведенного анализа. Кроме этого, описаны элементы в статье могут быть использованы при создании собственных звуковых эффектов, и на разных этапах конструирования виртуальных генераторов звука.Библ. 7, рис. 6, табл. 1., Побудовано алгоритм дослідження найбільш розповсюджених звукових ефектів на основі використання можливостей інформаційної платформи iOS. Описано архітектуру “Модель-вид-контролер” у формі компонентів додатку, що є базовим підгрунтям до проведення експерименту з аналізу особливостей мультимедійного контенту на основі використання мобільних гаджетів та спеціальної мови програмування. Побудовано простий алгоритм використання спеціальних фреймворків в середовищі XCode, який дозволив провести тестування на обраному семплі ряд звукових ефектів. Знайдено, що побудований алгоритм аналізу семплів на основі ресурсів iOS дозволяє значно спростити сам процес дослідження звукових сигналів різної природи, через те, що інструменти симулятора описуються через код мови програмування, і отже їх налаштування є зрозумілим підходом до проведеного аналізу. Крім цього, описані елементи в статті можуть бути використані при створенні власних звукових ефектів, та на різних етапах конструювання віртуальних генераторів звуку.Бібл. 7, рис. 6, табл. 1.

In this paper, the technology of correction of the frequency response of the measuring path of the hardware-software complex "Artificial head", intended for acoustic examination of the rooms, has been developed. This correction is necessary because the amplitude-frequency response of the loudspeaker and the microphone are not perfectly uniform in the frequency band of analysis. Therefore, instead of the room impulse response, the convolution of the room impulse response with the impulse responses of the loudspeaker (test signal source) and the microphone will actually be evaluated. It is shown that such correction can be made by controlled dividing the frequency response of the loudspeaker-room-microphone system by the previously obtained estimate of the amplitude-frequency response of the loudspeaker-microphone subsystem.The problem with such calculations is the division operation, because the amplitude-frequency response of the loudspeaker-microphone subsystem may contain small numerical values, which will overflow the discharge grid of the computing system and crash the computer. However, it is clear that if proper control over the amplitude-frequency characteristics of the loudspeaker-microphone subsystem is ensured, such a division can be practically implemented.Since the amplitude-frequency response of the subsystem "loudspeaker-microphone" takes the smallest values at the edges of the frequency range, and the variance of the evaluation of the mutual spectrum of the system "loudspeaker-room-microphone" is the largest on the right edge of the frequency range, it is advisable to apply the method of regularization to achieve necessary calculation accuracy. In this case, the role of the regularizing factor can be played by a spectral weighting window whose values are close to one at low and medium frequencies, and with the approaching to the right edge of the frequency range, the values of this window are close to zero. The role of the regularization parameter is thus the width of such a weighting window.The nature and value of such correction effect on the accuracy of the room impulse response estimate are analyzed in this paper. It is shown that the Hann (Hanning) window can be used as a regularizing factor, while the width value of this window was experimentally found, which provides satisfactory properties for evaluating the room impulse response. It has been also shown that the width of the Hann window, which is close to 80% of the total frequency range analyzed, is satisfactory for practical applications., Розроблено технологію коригування частотної характеристики вимірювального тракту апаратно-програмного комплексу «Штучна голова», призначеного для акустичної експертизи приміщень. Показано, що таке коригування може бути виконано шляхом контрольованого ділення частотної характеристики системи «гучномовець-приміщення-мікрофон» на попередньо отриману оцінку амплітудної частотної характеристики підсистеми «гучномовець-мікрофон». Виконано аналіз характеру та ступеня впливу такого коригування на точність оцінювання імпульсної характеристики приміщення. Показано необхідність застосування методу регуляризації для досягнення задовільної точності обчислень, вказано можливий варіант регуляризуючого множника та значення параметра регуляризації.

In this paper describes the technique and experimental study of the spectral characteristics of the bioelectric activity of the brain of students while listening to musical compositions. Namely, the audio signals that were selected for spectral characteristics by the criterion of coverage of the audible frequency band. Using the statistical analysis, the results of the EEG processing of the experimental data are presented. The results obtained are reflected in brain activity maps by frequency and range for brain rhythms, including alpha, beta, and theta rhythms.This paper describes the technique and experimental study of the spectral characteristics of the bioelectric activity of students' brains while listening to musical compositions. Music is an important model system for studying rhythmic communication because its rhythmic structure is well understood. In recent years, methods of computer processing of EEG data have become widely available. However, in clinical practice the traditional visual analysis of the obtained data dominates due to the lack of elaboration of norm and pathology criteria regarding the spectral characteristics of PEA. The bioelectric activity of the students' brain while listening to audio signals was studied, namely a music composition where a minute of silence was presented after each fragment. The audio signals were selected on the basis of spectral analysis after setting the characteristic frequencies with the highest amplitude to the entire spectrum, frequencies for each of the compositions, and divide the compositions into three groups of frequencies: low-frequency, mid-frequency and high-frequency. The method of experiment is to conduct studies of the stimulation of the central nervous system of the person by different audio signals.For the study were selected on a public basis in accordance with the rules of bioethics, which are regulated by international documents, 9 volunteers – students. With the use of silver cup electrodes, located in 16 standard leads, the localization of which was determined in accordance with the international system "10-20". Separate ear electrodes were used as reference. EEG recording was performed in the bandwidth from 3 to 30 Hz. An analysis of changes in the rhythm parameters and localization of the melody sites that most effectively influence the activity of the human brain were carried out. Based on the results obtained, the theta rhythm projected its activity into the post-central cortical regions, the beta rhythm projected activity on symmetrical occipital leads and alpha rhythms in the anterior regions., В даній роботі наведена методика експерименту та експериментальне дослідження спектральних характеристик біоелектричної активності мозку студентів під час прослуховування музичної композицій. А саме, аудіо-сигналів, які були відібрані за спектральними характеристиками за критерієм охоплення чутного діапазону частот. З використанням статистичного аналізу представлено результати обробки ЕЕГ даних експерименту. Отримані результати відображені на картах активності мозку за частотами та за діапазонами для ритмів головного мозку, зокрема альфа-, бета- і тета-ритмів.

The task of finding the physical parameters of electrodynamic transducers is an integral part of the process of development and production of speakers [1,2]. The most popular method for this is the added mass method proposed by Neville Theel and Richard Small. This method is simple and reliable to use, does not require expensive technology and considerable computing power. But its biggest disadvantage is the direct addition of mass to the moving part of the converter, which can damage it and very often is practically impossible.The paper proposes a method of using the parameter BL (the product of the induction in the gap of the magnetic circuit and the inductance of the sound coil) is based on measuring the displacement of the moving part of the converter, as well as the current through the coil of the converter and the voltage at its terminals. These three characteristics make it possible to fully determine the parameters of the electrodynamic converter in the electrical and mechanical parts separately, ie to measure the total electrical impedance and the total mechanical impedance. Once the impedances have been determined, they can be handled individually, and different equivalent circuits can be applied to further determine directly the parameters of the converter model.To demonstrate the benefits of finding the physical parameters of the converter, using the BL parameter, an example of a typical three-inch wide-band electrodynamic converter was calculated. For detailed modeling of the electrical oscillation system, the model of John Vanderkoy was chosen, in which the complex resistance of the coil is the sum of the static resistance of the RDC, the frequency-dependent active resistance of the coil RVC (f) and the frequency-dependent inductance LVC (f). This allows the model to account for complex physical effects, such as eddy currents that occur in the metal parts of the magnetic system.A series of ten measurements were performed by each method and the mean for each physical parameter and the corresponding standard deviation were calculated.Simulation of the full electrical input impedance Ztot (f) using the BL parameter method shows that the results are closer to real measurements than the added mass method, especially at frequencies above resonance. Comparison using the BL optimization method and the Vanderkoy model for the magnetic system shows less error at high frequencies for both the full input impedance module and the phase. However, the parameters found by the classical method of added mass are close to those found by the method of the parameter BL, which proves its feasibility for rapid measurements in production.From a statistical point of view, the stability of the BL parameter utilization method, the high repeatability of the results, and the smaller statistical error compared to the added mass method were demonstrated. In addition, a significant advantage of the BL parameter method is the ability to use it for miniature converters or converters with very fragile membranes (RF converters). That is, in all cases where physical interference with the movable part (adding mass or volume) is practically impossible., У даній статті представлені результати практичного порівняння двох методів знаходження фізичних параметрів електродинамічного перетворювача. Перший – класичний метод за допомогою доданої маси. Другий – запропонований метод оснований на використанні параметра BL. Розглянуті переваги та недоліки кожного з двох методів, а також похибки знайдених параметрів та їхня обґрунтованість.

The basis of the electro-acoustic transducer is piezoceramics - a quite fragile material. A rod type transducer was chosen for analysis due to the lack of research on this type of transducer and its widespread use. The most dangerous operational load is thermal. The mechanism of the transducer heating and the negative effects that the transducer heating causes are analyzed. Ways of heat prevention are analyzed.To exclude negative effects, it is necessary to deal with undesirable heating at the stage of construction. To check the construction of the transducer for thermal loads, it is proposed to compare two methods for estimate the temperature field of the transducer. Two methods of thermal field analysis for the construction of piezoceramic electro-acoustic transducers are considered - analytical calculation and modeling in computer-aided design system.For a proper comparison of the two methods, it is necessary to take the same model of the electro-acoustic transducer for calculation and simulation. In both cases, the transducer is simplified to structurally important elements - the active element, the radiating and the back mass. The active element is CTBS-3 piezoceramic, a radiating mass is made of Amg-6 aluminum and a back mass is made of St-20 steel.The analytical method for finding the thermal field is based on the solution of the Fourier differential heat equation. A simplified model of an acoustic transducer is presented in the form of three layers, and a thermal conductivity equation is applied to each. Unknown quantities are found by substituting the heat equation into the boundary conditions. Three pairs of boundary conditions are used: the equality of temperature at the points of contact of the layers, the equality of heat flow at the border between the body and the medium, and the equality of heat flow at the boundaries of the layers.Computer simulation performed using the finite element method in the SolidWorks computer-aided design system. The advantage of the modeling method instead by the calculations is demonstrated. In addition to easy use, rapid change of parameters and the ability to solve more complex problems, modeling can show the heating of the transducer at different points in time.The heat-up process can be informative when it is impossible to change the design to improve the thermal regime and therefore heating is inevitable. In this case, it is necessary to analyze the time during which the transducer heat-up to the permissible temperature for pulse mode implementation. The obtained results can be used in the design of core piezoceramic electroacoustic transducers., Розглянуто два методи аналізу теплових полів для конструкцій п'єзокерамічних електроакустичних перетворювачів – аналітичний розрахунок та моделювання. Проаналізовано причини виникнення нагріву, а також негативні наслідки, до яких призводить нагрів перетворювачів. Обґрунтовано необхідність аналізу теплових полів саме для п'єзокерамічних електроакустичних перетворювачів стержневої конструкції. Проведено порівняння аналітичного методу знаходження теплового поля, заснованого на розв'язанні диференціального рівняння теплопровідності Фур'є, і комп'ютерного моделювання, виконаного за допомогою методу скінченних елементів в системі автоматизованого проектування SolidWorks. Проведено чисельні розрахунки теплових полів розглянутими методами для типової конструкції стержневого перетворювача. Показано процес розігріву електроакустичного перетворювача. Встановлено, що моделювання дозволяє врахувати конструкційні особливості перетворювачів і дозволяє швидше змінювати параметри елементів для пошуку найбільш раціонального конструкторського рішення. Отримані результати можуть бути використані при конструюванні стержневих п'єзокерамічних електроакустичних перетворювачів.

Different pathological processes lead to changes of human auditory system characteristics. Nowadays, hearing diagnosis is not surprising and does not cause unnecessary questions, because most people understand the importance of health care and know about problems that can arise if they are not warned in advance. In the world there are many methods and programs for objective diagnosis of human hearing.Today, among hearing diagnosing objective methods, multifrequency acoustic impedancemetry and otoacoustic emission are most widely used in clinical practice. Comparison of the obtained characteristics in normal and pathological conditions allows us to judge the degree of changes in the auditory organ and diagnose some of its diseases. However, a large discrepancy between intersubject data may overlap deviations from norms. This is the main problem in diagnosis of hearing system. Determination the resonant frequency of human auditory system structural elements in a comprehensive study, using objective methods gives us a possibility to detect changes in ear conductive system more accurately. Significant changes in the resonance frequency of human middle ear make it possible to detect an existing pathology at a functional level. Resonant frequency shift (to one or the other side) may indicate the presence of otosclerosis, auditory ossicles chain break, etc.In this work, the parameters of the human middle ear were obtained theoretically, based on a two-circuit model of the human middle ear, and confirmed experimentally, using tympanometry and otoacoustic emission, which eliminate the main problem of hearing diagnostics and offer new diagnostic parameters for sound-conducting ear system diseases diagnosing, namely, value of resonant frequencies. Determining the resonant frequency of human auditory system structures in a comprehensive study using objective methods, allows us to identify changes in ear sound-conducting system.To study human auditory system resonant frequency, an electromechanical model of human middle ear was selected and its main parameters were determined: eardrum and tympanic cavity flexibility, acoustic impedance of air in the tympanic cavity and auditory tube, resonant frequency of first and second circuits of middle ear vibrating system, auditory ossicles weight. Purpose of the study - to search and identify effective ways to improve objective acoustic diagnostic methods and substantiate the choice of tympanometry and otoacoustic emission as the main methods for studying the state of the human auditory system, which allow a detailed assessment of pathological processes.Ref. 10, fig. 2, tabl. 1.`, Современные методы исследования позволяют диагностировать развитие некоторых заболеваний или нарушения органов слуха. Для исследования такого важного диагностического параметра, как резонансная частота слуховой системы человека, была выбрана электромеханическая модель среднего уха и определены основные ее параметры, а именно: гибкость барабанной перепонки и барабанной полости, акустический импеданс воздуха в барабанной полости и слуховой трубе, резонансная частота первого и второго контуров колебательной системы среднего уха, масса слуховых косточек. Для экспериментального определения резонансных частот среднего уха человека использованы методы акустической импедансометрии и отоакустической эмиссии, которые являются основными методами исследования состояния слуховой системы человека и позволяют детально оценить суть патологических процессов.Библ. 10, рис.2, табл. 1., Сучасні методи дослідження дозволяють діагностувати розвиток деяких захворювань або порушення органів слуху. Для дослідження такого важливого діагностичного параметру, як резонансна частота слухової системи людини, була обрана електромеханічна модель середнього вуха та визначено основні її параметри, а саме: гнучкість барабанної перетинки та барабанної порожнини, акустичний імпеданс повітря в барабанній порожнині та слуховій трубі, резонансні частоти коливальної системи середнього вуха, маса слухових кісточок. Calculations are based on the acoustic power of the emitter and the value of the sound level pressure that must be created depending on the destination of the room. Secondly, you should choose the optimal layout of the detectors for the specified dimensions of the room and its configuration.For the convenience of performing calculations by leading companies – manufacturers of relevant products have developed a variety of software options, so–called "acoustic calculators".In Ukraine, the design of emergency notification systems is not given enough attention. This leads to the fact that designers use information to install predominantly Russian information resources. Developers of Russian companies have certain disadvantages, as well as executed in regulatory documents that are different from the international standards adopted in Ukraine.The article proposes a method for creating software for calculating the notification system. The calculation is based on the distance definiteness from the detector to the sounding plane, which satisfies the condition of maintaining a given level of sound pressure.Calculations are performed separately for sound (non–directional) detectors and speech emitters. In this work, the approximated directional characteristics of detectors, which were considered in horizontal and vertical planes, were used. The directed action of speech detectors is taken into account by the value of the directional factor at the frequency corresponding to the maximum radiation energy.The result of the acoustic calculator is the number of selected detectors, the type of their placement system (which is selected by the user, but can be adjusted during the calculation, as well as the detector type), the scheme of their placement in the room.The article provides an interface program and examples of calculations with a sample of calculations for two rooms. For selected premises, the results obtained using the "acoustic calculator" are checked by calculating the sound field by the analytical method as well as by the experimental one. In the premises, recommended notification systems are installed, and measurements of sound field levels are performed. Analytical calculations and experimental data confirm the reliability of the results obtained with the help of the developed "acoustic calculator".Ref. 14, fig. 7, tabl. 2., Статья посвящена созданию методики и программного обеспечения для акустического расчета систем оповещения. Проанализированы существующие методы расчетов систем оповещения. Рассмотрена задача создания заданного акустического поля массивом оповещателей. Согласно предложенной методике, разработано программное обеспечение на базе Java - «акустический калькулятор». Достоверность результатов подтверждена расчетами, выполненными «методом координат», и экспериментальными измерениями значений звукового давления. The purpose of the work done was to estimate the human binaural capability of locating stereo sound sources of information signals, especially speech, choir singing, and symphonic music as compared to pulse signals. The measurements were conducted in an average-sized hall where sound was emitted by a stereo system consisting of two loudspeakers with the base width of 4.5 m.Based on the results of analysis of existing methods of binaural sound perception modelling, the estimation was performed based on correlational processing of signals recorded using a head dummy placed in various points of the room.For the recording points selected, the maximum time delays between signals arriving at a listener’s left and right ears were calculated, and the interaural cross-correlation functions were obtained. The general functions, especially the peak shift, correlation interval, and peak sharpness (including the conditions when it splits into two individual ones), were analysed. The correlation factor values and levels were calculated. As a result, the conclusions regarding the capability of locating an imaginary sound source were made based on the cross-correlation function factors values, which simplified the application of this method in practice.Based on the results of experiments conducted and on the subjective sensations of perception, the authors have come to the conclusion that a stereophony area has sizes much wider than those assumed earlier from the signal time delay of 1 ms at a receiving stereo pair (representing a shift of an imaginary source towards the ear perceiving the signal earlier).At the same time, it was found that signals with a speech component are much harder to locate than pulse signals. While music signals, especially symphonic music, are close to pulse signals in terms of human locating capabilities.The found patterns have allowed us to introduce adjustments to the stereophony area calculations. Based on the research results, we suggest defining the stereophony zone border by the correlation factor value of 0.5. Given that, the interaural cross-correlation function properties and subjective perception provide for acceptable speech legibility and music transparency. The key conclusion is that this area is quite narrow for speech signals and is actually limited to the time delay of signals arriving at left and right ears – around 1 ms. Music signals have a wider stereophony area defined by the time delay between perception binaural pair components of around 10 ms. Therefore, sizes of a stereophonic sound area ought to be defined with regard to an information signal’s type.Ref. 14, fig. 3, tabl. 3., В данной статье рассматривается проблема локализации человеком источников звука. Вимірювання виконувались за допомогою штучної голови на глядацьких місцях в залі середніх розмірів.Практично наявність зони стереофонії для інформаційних сигналів можна визначати за значеннями коефіцієнту крос-кореляції IACF>0,2. Наведено розрахунок резонансних частот горловини резонатора Гельмгольца з метою подальшої оцінки взаємозв'язку резонансних частот, отриманих експериментально, з резонансними частотами одного з основних елементів резонатора для створення широкосмугових акустичних систем або метаматеріалів. Метою роботи є розрахунок резонансних частот горловини резонатора Гельмгольца. Параметри горловини обрані рівними параметрам горловини одного з резонаторів досліджених експериментально. They are actively used to solve various problems in acoustics and find more and more applications - from use as mufflers, for use in the composition of metamaterials.As a simplification, it is assumed that the Helmholtz resonator has only one resonant frequency. In practice, the presence of a number of additional resonances was discovered.In this paper, it is proposed to approach the question of finding additional resonant frequencies on the other hand and consider the cavity as a system consisting of two more simple elements, to go by solving two more simple problems and to bring the results together, to reconcile them.The aim of the work is to calculate the resonant frequencies of the Helmholtz resonator neck. The throat parameters are chosen equal to the throat parameters of one of the resonators investigated in experiment.Using the MathCad software environment, the necessary calculations to obtain the values of resonant frequencies in the range from 0 to 4200 Hz were made.The 9 resonant frequencies in the range from 99 to 4060 Hz was obtained experimentally. As a result of the calculation, numerical values are obtained for the first sixty four resonant frequencies. Some of these resonances will not have a significant effect on the resonances of the system, due to the smallness of their amplitudes of oscillations. This may explain the difference in the number of resonances obtained as a result of the calculation and experimentally (the smaller the amplitude of the oscillations, the more difficult to fix the resonance experimentally).At a frequency of 3978 Hz, resonance was observed inside the flask experimentally; in the throat region, resonance was absent. At the frequencies 3037Hz, 3568Hz and 4060Hz, the resonance in the neck was poorly expressed. It can be concluded that the resonant frequencies of the throat, exceeding the value of 3000 Hz, will not have a significant effect on the resonance values of the entire resonator, i.e. for these values of frequency, resonance in the throat part was not observed experimentally.Taking into account the amplitudes of oscillations inside the neck will help reduce the number of frequencies that are interesting for further calculations and select among them the frequencies that will have the greatest influence on the value of the resonance frequencies of the entire resonator, that is, they will have the greatest amplitudes of fluctuations within the neck. Therefore, the purpose of further research is to calculate the amplitudes of oscillations that correspond to the received resonance frequencies.Ref. 12, fig. 3, tabl. 3., Приведен расчет резонансных частот горловины резонатора Гельмгольца с целью дальнейшей оценки взаимосвязи резонансных частот, полученных экспериментально с резонансными частотами одного из элементов резонатора (горловой части) для создания широкополосных акустических систем или метаматериалов. Целью работы является расчет резонансных частот горловины резонатора Гельмгольца. Параметры горловины выбраны равными параметрам горловины одного из резонаторов, исследованных экспериментально.
