Electronic funds transfer is generally expected to improve efficiency in funds transfer, payments, reporting, receipting and thus service delivery in any organization. However, SASSRA reports of 2018 show that despite Sacco’s having institutionalized electronic operations in their accounting process, efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery remains elusive in most aspects. The main objective was to determine the effect of electronic funds transfer on the service delivery in Ng’arisha Sacco, Bungoma Kenya. The research was guided by Schumpeter’s theory of innovation and technology acceptance model. This study embraced descriptive survey research design. This study had a target population of 127. Census sampling was used where the entire targeted population was sampled. Data was gathered using questionnaires with closed-ended structured questions that were prepared on a five-point Likert scale. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26 software was utilized for data analysis. Data was analysed in form of descriptive and inferential statistics. The research hypothesis posited H01: E-funds transfer has no significant effect on service delivery in Saccos. Thus, the model was significant and so the null hypothesis was rejected on the ground that E-funds transfer had a significant and moderate strong positive linear correlation with service delivery in Saccos. Based on the discoveries, it pints that in the Sacco industry, service delivery is crucial. As a result, there is a strong link between e-funds transfer practices and Ng’arisha SACCO service delivery. The study recommends that, Saccos should employ electronic transfer of funds for their operations to enhance service delivery.

Electronic or e-trade trading (English: Electronic Commerce, also e-commerce) is a spread, purchase, sales, marketing goods and services through an electronic system such as internet or television, www, or other computer networks. Ecommerce can involve electronic fund transfers, electronic data exchange, auto inventory management systems, and automatic data collection systems. The Information Technology industry sees this e-commerce activity as the application and application of e-business (e-business) related to commercial transactions, such as: electronic fund transfer, SCM (E-Marketing), e-marketing), online marketing, online transaction processing (online transaction processing), electronic data interchange / edi), etc.E-commerce is part of e-business, where e-business coverage is wider, not just a commerce but includes also co-entrance business partners, customer service, job vacancies etc. Seeing very fast developments of the e-commerce growth in the world including in Indonesia, it is necessary an effective strategy for the tax authority in the reacting. One of the things that need to be concern is this very rapid growth should be maintained so that there is no distortion as a result of taxation policy. During this time, the tax aspect in e-commerce has been the highlight of tax authorities in the world, especially whether there should be a new tax impression on this transaction and also how to align the existing tax rules with e-commerce development.Transactions through digital media or e-commerce in Indonesia need rebuilding from the side of the legislation (Cyberlaw) so that in the future do not miss the dispute in it runs. This happens because the difficulty of tracking the transactions used through the e-commerece is either B-to-B (business to business) or B-to-C (business to consumers). For example the relationship between the supplier with the factory, how the apparatus is to oversee the existence of transactions or not between the two through the e-commerce the solution of solving the problem is the government must take steps in solving the unstable internet infrastructure issues and frequent reliable transportation, the licensing procedure of customs to dedicate to the duty procedure from dawn to the negative trade for the other value to increase the efficacy to make the rules for the epimal services that are still under the regulations of the same bank as well as the public of the transactions of online transactions, plan and conduct the introduction of certification systems, a number of large players should be able to open the way of foreign investment, including doing some major plans for foreign investors, of course with clear regulations and the government must provide ease of rules for small and medium business to gain access to investors, and giving taxes to the company in the new company.

Purpose Given that Blockchain technology poses a growing challenge to the banking industry, this paper aims to analyse the innovation of Blockchain banking with regard to its systemic dimension, as well as dynamics of competition. The empirical research demonstrates how the systemic characteristics of Blockchain banking relate to the pursuit of strategies and to what extent these strategies influence the directional path and level of technology diffusion. Design/methodology/approach The research study uses a case study methodology to explore the strategic competition of Blockchain banking. The study proposes the systemic innovation model for analysing and tracking the path of innovations. The model can be applied to any industry to understand the process of innovation development and the strategies to win market share in the banking industry. This research makes a contribution towards the theory of technology diffusion to understand the directional path of innovations. Findings The analyses of findings reveal the situation whereby most banks still compete to create their own Blockchain banking systems. The analyses, based on the systemic innovation model, also shows the low systemic feature of Blockchain banking at present. From the technology diffusion perspective, the future of Blockchain banking may need cross-chain interoperability to support a full spectrum of payments and value exchanges on the internet of things. Originality/value The main contribution of this paper is the systemic analysis of the latest innovation of Blockchain banking. Given that the research also includes the major banking innovation cases of ATM/cash cards, credit cards and electronic fund transfer at the point of sale/debit cards, the comparative analyses offer strategic insights to predict the progress, as well as pattern of technology development and diffusion for the case of Blockchain banking.

Despite development and extension of different ways of financing in financial markets, encompassing Islamic and conventional financing, the mechanism of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) of project financing both as borrowed and non-borrowed methods has not been considered at most. Moreover overall IT infrastructures development namely Real Gross Settlement System (RTGS), Automatic Clearing House (ACH), Scriptless Security Settlement System (SSSS) and International Bank Account Number (IBAN) for authentication process and the international meta bank network of Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA) and also international integrated banking networks including the Society For Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) and Interbank Information Transfer Network (Shetab), and other accomplished endeavors are not efficient in absorbing international contributions for project financing through foreign exchange funds in the different countries, satisfactory E-Payment mechanism in informative portal systems for investment projects are weak. In this way, the role of applying E-Payment systems for attracting foreign investment through retail resources mobilization and design of financial instruments with the capability of transacting in the secondary markets should be reconsidered. In this paper by having a glance at different types of investment project financing, we introduce a new project financing mechanism based on E-Payment with non-usury financial instruments to complete investment project financing chain in the form of Rastin Profit and Loss Sharing (PLS) banking.Sharia compliance of financing instruments in one side and accessibility in absorbing international retail foreign exchange sources on other side are two fundamental discussible items in this paper. In this way by designing a new system of "Non-Usury Scriptless Security Settlement System" (NSSSS) with non-usury mechanisms -avoiding legislative (Sharia) circumvention- can provide the two cited goals in designing non-usury financing instruments through IT-based non-usury financial innovations which includes of Rastin Certificates in Rastin PLS banking, and Non-Usury Bonds namely Rastin Swap Bonds. Information technology has changed the traditional ways of doing business to a digital and electronic way that has led to globalization. The banking industry has been forced by the wave of electronic payment system in the business environment to change from its traditional ways such as: long queues as customers waited to be served, delay in the clearing house as representatives of different banks waited to settle their dues and manual work that resulted to errors. The main purpose of the study was to determine the effect of electronic banking on the financial performance of commercial banks in Kenya. The specific objectives were to determine the extend of internet, mobile, automated teller machine and debit/credit card banking adoption and its effect on financial performance. The study covered a period of five years that is from the year 2011 to the year 2015 and adopted descriptive research design. The data collected was analyzed by the use of both descriptive and inferential statistics procedures. Primary and secondary data was collected from the 34 commercial banks that responded leading to a respond rate of 79.04% out of the 43 commercial banks. The trade analysis showed that internet banking was recognized and accepted by the Kenyan commercial banks and the Kenyans as a way of transacting. Electronic banking was found to be positive and significantly related to the financial performance of the commercial banks in Kenya. This was attributed by an R Square of 0.688 for Return On Assets, 0.63 for Net Profit and 0.277 for Return On Equity indicating that the independent variables in the study were able to give information of up to 68.8%, 63% and 27.7% respectively while the remaining 31.2%, 27% and 72.3% could not be explained in the study but could be explained using other variables outside the study. All the independent variables were (internet banking, Mobile banking, Automated Teller Machine banking and Debit/Credit banking) found to be positively and significantly related to the Return On Assets while only mobile banking and internet banking were found to be positively and significantly related to Net Profit since their p Values were less 0.05. Automated Teller Machine banking showed a positive relation that was insignificant with the Return On Equity.The study recommends that, electronic banking should be employed by commercial banks through proper management policies since it has shown improved efficiency and financial performance. For further studies, areas of crime technology, quality of banking services, electronic fund transfer and performing loans should be looked at. This paper provides a critique of information and communication technology (ICT) policies in developing countries. Based on critical discourse analysis (CDA) of Iranian government discourse in the case of electronic fund transfer at the point of sale (EFT-POS) system, we illustrate the influence of global discourse on the policies and their contributions to the outcomes. We also analyze how policy shaped the ways in which different actors were included and allowed to participate in the implementation process. We show that enhancing the mainstream criteria like the rate of ICT adoption and diffusion, do not necessarily mean that policy will reap the expected benefits. From this standpoint, we propose that the focus of debate in policy making and defining policy objectives should move beyond setting objectives exclusively adopted from global discourse to also considering local issues and concerns. In such conditions, there will be less resistance to the government plans and fewer social challenges.

Mobile payments are on the rise, and as their popularity is emerging, providers must adhere to security regulations to ensure consumer confidence. There is currently no single regulation specific to mobile wallets, so existing banking transactions are used to secure mobile payment transactions. These financial regulations are large textual documents and require significant manual effort to comprehend and ensure compliance adherence. Thus, it is difficult for both the consumers and providers to understand which specific rules in these regulations apply to their mobile wallet transactions. We have created an integrated knowledge representation of the four main banking regulations that apply to mobile payment Electronic Funds Transfer Act (EFTA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS). In this paper, we present our framework in detail along with the qualitative and quantitative measures that were used to validate the design against the policies of six major vendors that deal with mobile payments. Our integrated mobile payment knowledge graph, which is available in the public domain, can be used by practitioners to automate mobile wallet transaction compliance in their organization.
