The article provides an analytical activities review aimed at the development of documents for the preliminary planning of actions for fire service units of territorial fire and rescue garrisons of the Russian Federation. Issues of development of fire extinguishing plans for Federal districts, distribution of their number by objects of development and types of fire service were considered. The article offers a structure of an electronic database project for ordering storage, accounting and organization of operational access to plans developed for objects of protection to extinguish fires in fire and rescue garrisons.

The book has always been valued as the most important value for the transmission of information. Along with the historical development of the society, it performed the complex function of transferring the achievements of the given period to the future generations, which made it possible to correctly assess the past. This phenomenon is more emphasized when we refer to the history of Armenian book art. • Monitoring hand hygiene behavior of individual nurses is not routinely performed. • We tested whether an anonymous monitoring system could estimate individual behavior. • We found a link between a patient room's hand hygiene rate and its assigned nurse. • An anonymous monitoring system can estimate individual staff hand hygiene behavior. We investigated whether an anonymous automated electronic monitoring system (EMS) could be used to compare hand hygiene (HH) performance of individual nurses. Prospective observational cohort study. HH performance in 10 acute-care patient rooms was estimated through an EMS that anonymously measured HH events, and room entries and exits. The association between patient room's HH compliance and the nurse in charge of each room was investigated by comparing percentile rank distributions, and through a negative binomial model. Over 99 days, there were 38,596 HH events and 135,546 room entries and exits (global HH performance, 28%). For 10 of 54 (19%) nurses, the median HH percentile rank of the rooms to which they were assigned was higher than the group average (P <.001; range of percentiles, 64th to 85th). A lower median percentile was seen in 9/54 (17%) participants (P <.001; range of percentiles, 22nd to 39th). The negative binomial model confirmed this association and identified 15 of 54 high performers (range of adjusted incidence rate ratios [aIRR], 1.17-1.83) and 16 of 54 low performers (range of aIRR, 0.37-0.77). The presentation discusses the issues of organizing services for the formation of the National Library of Uzbekistan’s national bibliographic databases. Among the problems the library faces are the regular replenishment of electronic databases with geoscience periodical publications, the compilation of bibliographic retrospective indexes, as well as individual bibliographic indexes of full-text databases on DVD. Background: Self-management has become important as a complementary approach to the recovery of patients with mood disorders, and the need for a remote intervention program has been revealed in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. Objective: The aim of this review is to systematically review the studies for evidence on the effects of online self-management interventions based on cognitive behavioral therapy or psychoeducation for patients with mood disorders and to verify the statistical significance of the effectiveness of the interventions. Methods: A comprehensive literature search will be conducted using a search strategy in nine electronic bibliographic databases and will include all randomized controlled trial studies conducted up through December 2021. In addition, unpublished dissertations will be reviewed to minimize publication bias and to include a wider range of research. All steps in selecting the final studies to be included in the review will be performed independently by two researchers, and any discrepancies will be resolved through discussion. Results: Institutional review board approval was not required because this study was not conducted on people. Systematic literature searches, data extraction, narrative synthesis, meta-analysis, and final writing of the systematic review and meta-analysis are expected to be completed by 2023. Conclusions: This systematic review will provide a rationale for the development of web-based or online self-management interventions for the recovery of patients with mood disorders and will be used as a clinically meaningful reference in terms of mental health management. Abstract Background Although breast cancer is the most common cancer among Sri Lankan women, there is little published data on patient characteristics and treatment in the local context. We aimed to describe disease characteristics and management in a large contemporary cohort of women with breast cancer at the National Cancer Institute of Sri Lanka (NCISL). Methods All women with invasive primary breast cancers diagnosed during 2016–2020 were identified from the NCISL breast cancer registry. The NCISL sees approximately 40% of all cancer patients in Sri Lanka. Cancer stage at diagnosis was defined according to the Tumour, Node, and Metastasis (TNM) staging system and the Estrogen (ER) and progesterone (PR) receptor status was determined based on the results of immunohistochemistry tests. Descriptive statistics were used to describe the study cohort and treatment patterns. Results Over 5100 patients were diagnosed with breast cancer during the study period at the NCISL. The mean age of the women was 56 (SD 12) years. Common co-morbidities were hypertension (n = 1566, 30%) and diabetes mellitus (n = 1196, 23%). Two thirds (66%) of the cancers were early stage (stage I & II) at diagnosis. ER/PR positivity rate was 72% and HER-2 positivity rate was 22%. Two thirds of the women had undergone mastectomy while 68% had undergone axillary clearance. The rate of chemotherapy delivery was 91% for women with node positive disease while 77% of eligible women (i.e., after wide local excision or with > 3 positive lymph nodes) had received adjuvant radiotherapy. Endocrine therapy was initiated in 88% of eligible women with hormone receptor positive disease while rate of trastuzumab use was 59% among women with HER2 positive breast cancer. Conclusions High percentage of advanced breast cancer at diagnosis and high prevalence of comorbidities are some of the major challenges faced in the management of breast cancer in Sri Lanka. Given that stage at diagnosis is the most important prognostic factor determining survival, greater efforts are needed to promote early diagnosis of breast cancer. Considerable lapses in the concordance between guideline recommendations and the delivery of cancer care warrants closer assessment and intervention.

The formation of databases of digitized vegetation relevés and the publication of content about them promote cooperation between researchers in solving problems of biodiversity analysis, the exchange of the used data, and, thus, the increase in research representativeness. The article is devoted to the review of the origin and use of the database of relevés of forest vegetation and considers the tasks in which it is used. The current stage of work is characterized as follows: improvement of the database structure, features of the stored information, replenishment of the database, issues of administration, and cooperation organization. Based on the analysis of current trends in the vegetation science and taking into account the features of information stored in the database, the relevant scientific problems, for the solution of which the use of the database is promising, and technical tasks that need to be solved to ensure its continued use were formulated.

Background: The use of mobile health (mHealth) apps is increasing rapidly worldwide. More and more institutions and organizations develop regulations and guidelines to enable an evidence-based and safe use. In Germany, mHealth apps fulfilling predefined criteria (Digitale Gesundheitsanwendungen [DiGA]) can be prescribed and are reimbursable by the German statutory health insurance scheme. Due to the increasing distribution of DiGA, problems and barriers should receive special attention. Objective: This study aims to identify the relevant problems and barriers related to the use of mHealth apps fulfilling the criteria of DiGA. Methods: This scoping review will follow published methodological frameworks and the PRISMA-Scr (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses Extension for Scoping Reviews) criteria. Electronic databases (MEDLINE, EMBASE, PsycINFO, and JMIR), reference lists of relevant articles, and grey literature sources will be searched. Two reviewers will assess the eligibility of the articles by a two-stage (title and abstract as well as full text) screening process. Only problems and barriers related to mHealth apps fulfilling the criteria of DiGA are included for this research. The identified studies will be categorized and analyzed with MAXQDA. Results: This scoping review gives an overview of the available evidence and identifies research gaps regarding problems and barriers related to DiGA. The results are planned to be submitted to an indexed, peer-reviewed journal in the first quarter of 2022. Conclusions: This is the first review to identify the problems and barriers related to the use of mHealth apps fulfilling the German definition of DiGA. Of the large joints in the human body, the elbow joint is the most complicated from an anatomical and functional point of view. Its structure and function are such that they make it particularly sensitive to injuries, after which in many cases there is a permanent loss of movement. Elbow fractures rate is about 5.5% of all musculoskeletal system fractures. The most common are fractures of the radial head (2.8%), followed by those of olecranon (1%) and the distal part of the humerus (0.5%). Elbow fractures are one of the most difficult injuries to the upper limb to treat and physiotherapy. There are a number of contradictions regarding the most accurate method of treatment and model of recovery, because unlike the shoulder, in the elbow joint even the smallest incongruity in the joint surfaces lead to loss of movement, and prolonged immobilization - to joint contractures. The functional insufficiency of the elbow complex leads to the impossibility of self-service and work. One-third of the fractures of the elbow joint affect the distal humerus. The mechanism of injury is a fall on a stretched upper limb or a direct blow to the elbow.

In hospitals, the majority of medication therapy is administered intravenously. Especially, in intensive care units, simultaneous of various injectable drugs is a common practice Drug incompatibilities have been reported to be associated with up to 60 % of all serious and life-threatening adverse drug events. Several databases are used by hospital pharmacists to answer the questions of (in)compatibility of co-administered injectable drugs. The objective of this article is to present the European databases on compatibility and stability of injectable drugs. According to a questionnaire which was sent to the National Hospital Pharmacy Associations of the 28 countries of European Community there are three national databases available in EU countries which are in alphabetical order, Belgium, France and Germany. The Belgian database is dedicated to injectable medications, is updated and distributed annually in French language on a USB key. STABILIS® is an international database giving information with pictograms translated into 29 languages. This database contains also monographs of non-injectable drugs. The internet-based ADKA STABIL-Datenbank is focused on anticancer drug therapy, listing detailed datasets in German language on stability and compatibility including the references.

Background: Telepsychiatry (TP), a live video meeting, has been implemented in many contexts and settings. It has a distinct advantage in the psychiatric emergency department (ED) setting, as it expedites expert assessments for psychiatric patients. However, limited knowledge exits for TP's effectiveness in the ED setting, as well as the process of implementing TP in this setting., Objective: This scoping review aimed to review the existing evidence for the administrative and clinical outcomes for TP in the ED setting and to identify the barriers and facilitators to implementing TP in this setting., Methods: The scoping review was conducted according to the guidelines for the PRISMA-ScR (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews). Three electronic databases were examined: PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science. The databases were searched from January 2013 to April 2023 for papers and their bibliography. A total of 2816 potentially relevant papers were retrieved from the initial search. Studies were screened and selected independently by 2 authors., Results: A total of 11 articles were included. Ten papers reported on administrative and clinical outcomes of TP use in the ED setting and 1 on the barriers and facilitators of its implementation. TP is used in urban and rural areas and for settings with and with no on-site psychiatric services. Evidence shows that TP reduced waiting time for psychiatric evaluation, but in some studies, it was associated with prolonged total length of stay in the ED compared with in-person evaluation. Findings indicate lower admission rates in patients assessed with TP in the ED. Limited data were reported for TP costs, its use for involuntary commitment evaluations, and its use for particular subgroups of patients (eg, those with a particular diagnosis). A single paper examined TP implementation process in the ED, which explored the barriers and facilitators for implementation among patients and staff in a rural setting., Conclusions: Based on the extant studies, TP seems to be generally feasible and acceptable to key stakeholders. However, this review detected a gap in the literature regarding TP's effectiveness and implementation process in the ED setting. Introduction: The Delphi technique is an iterative, multi-stage process that consists of questioning a panel of experts through a structured group communication process to reach a consensus on specific issues. The study is a systematic review of the available literature in orthodontics which has utilised the Delphi technique to seek consensus on a range of issues. Aim: To identify and summarise the studies which have utilised the Delphi technique as a method for gathering consensus in the speciality field of orthodontics. The study evaluated the various characteristics of the Delphi technique. Materials and Methods: This systematic review followed the methodology of a preset article inclusion and exclusion criteria using an electronic database search using the keywords consensus, Delphi, Delphi technique, Delphi studies, expert opinion was conducted in March 2021. A range of electronic databases comprising PubMed, Excerpta Medica database (EMBASE), Google Scholar, Web of Science and Scopus were searched dated from (January 1990 to March 2021) to identify the studies which involved the use of Delphi in orthodontics. Following this, two authors reviewed and scored each of the studies before finalising a list of five studies to be included in this review. Results: The searches revealed a total of 187 studies out of which only five studies met the inclusion criteria and were included in this study. Each of the five studies was assessed by two independent assessors. The five studies involved an expert panel from multiple health professionals involving orthodontic specialists, maxillofacial surgeons, nurses, speech therapists, and nutritionists. Five domains (theme, panel constitution, panel size, number of iterations and the level at which consensus reached) were identified and assessed in each of the five studies. Conclusion: The study has identified and reviewed the Delphi technique and its usage in orthodontics but has also provided a sound description and elaboration of the various components and characteristics of the Delphi technique in addition to providing some correlations between expert panel size and the number of iterations.

Real-world evidence (RWE) can provide insights into patient profiles, disease detection, treatment choice, dosing strategies, treatment sequencing, adverse event management and financial toxicity associated with oncology treatment. However, the full potential of RWE is untapped in emerging economies due to structural and behavioral factors. Structural barriers include lack of regulatory engagement, real-world data availability, quality and integrity. Behavioral barriers include entrenched healthcare professional behaviors that impede rapid RWE understanding and adoption. These barriers can be addressed with close collaboration of healthcare stakeholders; of whom, regulators need to be at the forefront given their ability to facilitate use of RWE in healthcare policy and legislation. The Muscle Test is an important tool for all healthcare team members who are committed to restoring the patient's physical health and a fundamental element in identifying motor disorders. The outcomes obtained from this test are the basis for choosing an optimal therapeutic approach, a strategy for rehabilitation and tracking of the recovery process in dynamics. The lack of objectivity and quantitative data for comparison in muscle strength measurement in manual testing creates prerequisites for inaccuracies and subjective judgment on the part of the examiner. This has given rise to the search for additional tools to support standard muscle assessment methods, such as apparatus muscle testing. It provides more accurate, quantitative and objective assessments and creates a prerequisite for refining the muscle test and preserving it in an electronic database accessible to a team of specialists.

The study aimed at identifying the types of e-databases available, perceptions towards the ease and extent of use, and usefulness of the adopted e-databases and identify the challenges associated with the use of adopted e-databases by the postgraduate students in the selected universities, in North- central, Nigeria. The study adopted descriptive survey design where set of questionnaires were used to collect data from 1726 postgraduate students across five universities in North- central, Nigeria. The study found that Internet facility, e-journals, e-books, science direct, AGORA, DOAJ and TEEAL are the major e-databases available and accessible in selected libraries. The e-databases used on daily basis are Internet, e-books and e-journal while EMERALD, HINARI, EBSCOHOST, OARE, JSTOR and TEEAL are mostly accessed on yearly basis. The study identified poor interregional networking and Internet connection, high cost of e-databases, epileptic power supply and insufficient fund to subscribe to them as major challenges with the use of adopted e-databases. We concluded that there is a significant relationship between the perceived ease of use and use of e-databases among postgraduate students in those university libraries; as well as between perceived usefulness and use of e-databases. Breast cancer is the most common oncologic disease among women worldwide. Survival rates vary significantly and depend on early diagnosis practice and access to treatment. Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) accounts for 12–15% of all breast cancers. We performed a one-year real-life retrospective study on the patho-histological status and treatment of a representative cohort of patients with TNBC in Bulgaria. We collected anonymised data for TNBC patients from the electronic artificial intelligence platform Sqilline - Danny Platform. Demographic characteristics, data on biomarkers, TNM (Tumor, Nodule, Metastasis) stage, therapeutic regime, line and changes in treatment were chronologically analysed for all patients. The results were processed through descriptive statistics. For the observed period, Jan 2019–Dec 2019, 6880 breast cancer patients from eight major oncology hospitals were included in the database. The average age of the women was 60 y; 234 (3.4%) of them were diagnosed with TNBC; 10% had unknown TNM stage. The majority of the patients were assigned to chemotherapy (84%) of which 35% were on adjuvant. Most changes in the therapy were observed in the neo-adjuvant group).The results from this study provide evidence that the treatment patterns of TNBC, and changes in therapy are in compliance with international guidelines. We identified less patients with TNBC than the frequencies reported in international epidemiological studies. This might be attributed to lack of funding of necessary tests or insufficient data in patients record. Background: Heart failure (HF) is a significant health problem that is often associated with major morbidity and mortality. Metabolic abnormalities occur in HF and may be used to identify individuals at risk of developing the condition. Furthermore, these metabolic changes may play a role in the pathogenesis and progression of HF. Despite this knowledge, the utility of metabolic changes in diagnosis, management, prognosis, and therapy for patients with chronic HF has not been systematically reviewed., Objective: This scoping review aims to systematically appraise the literature on metabolic changes in patients with HF, describe the role of these changes in pathogenesis, progression, and care, and identify knowledge gaps to inform future research., Methods: This review will be conducted using a strategy based on previous reports, the JBI Manual for Evidence Synthesis, and the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis Extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) guidelines. A comprehensive search of electronic databases (Medline, EBSCOhost, Scopus, and Web of Science) will be conducted using keywords related to HF, myocardial failure, metabolomes, metabonomics, and analytical chemistry techniques. The search will include original peer-reviewed research papers (clinical studies conducted on humans and systematic reviews with or without a meta-analysis) published between January 2010 and September 2023. Studies that include patients with HF younger than 18 years or those not published in English will be excluded. Two authors (UGA and MB) will screen the titles and abstracts independently and perform a full-text screen of the relevant and eligible papers. Relevant data will be extracted and synthesized, and a third author or group will be consulted to resolve discrepancies., Results: This scoping review will span from January 2010 to September 2023, and the results will be published in a peer-reviewed, open-access journal as a scoping review in 2024. The presentation of the findings will use the PRISMA-ScR flow diagram and descriptive and narrative formats, including tables and graphical displays, to provide a comprehensive overview of the extracted data., Conclusions: This review aims to collect and analyze the available evidence on metabolic changes in patients with HF, aiming to enhance our current understanding of this topic. Additionally, this review will identify the most commonly used and suitable sample, analytical method, and specific metabolomes to facilitate standardization, reproducibility of results, and application in the diagnosis, treatment, and risk stratification of patients with HF. Background: Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force across the health sector and has garnered significant attention within sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) due to polarizing views on its opportunities to advance care and the heightened risks and implications it brings to people's well-being and bodily autonomy. As the fields of AI and SRHR evolve, clarity is needed to bridge our understanding of how AI is being used within this historically politicized health area and raise visibility on the critical issues that can facilitate its responsible and meaningful use., Objective: This paper presents the protocol for a scoping review to synthesize empirical studies that focus on the intersection of AI and SRHR. The review aims to identify the characteristics of AI systems and tools applied within SRHR, regarding health domains, intended purpose, target users, AI data life cycle, and evidence on benefits and harms., Methods: The scoping review follows the standard methodology developed by Arksey and O'Malley. We will search the following electronic databases: MEDLINE (PubMed), Scopus, Web of Science, and CINAHL. Inclusion criteria comprise the use of AI systems and tools in sexual and reproductive health and clear methodology describing either quantitative or qualitative approaches, including program descriptions. Studies will be excluded if they focus entirely on digital interventions that do not explicitly use AI systems and tools, are about robotics or nonhuman subjects, or are commentaries. We will not exclude articles based on geographic location, language, or publication date. The study will present the uses of AI across sexual and reproductive health domains, the intended purpose of the AI system and tools, and maturity within the AI life cycle. Outcome measures will be reported on the effect, accuracy, acceptability, resource use, and feasibility of studies that have deployed and evaluated AI systems and tools. Ethical and legal considerations, as well as findings from qualitative studies, will be synthesized through a narrative thematic analysis. We will use the PRISMA-ScR (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Extension for Scoping Reviews) format for the publication of the findings., Results: The database searches resulted in 12,793 records when the searches were conducted in October 2023. Screening is underway, and the analysis is expected to be completed by July 2024., Conclusions: The findings will provide key insights on usage patterns and evidence on the use of AI in SRHR, as well as convey key ethical, safety, and legal considerations. One of the most serious cancers among women is breast cancer. This disease is the first reason for the death of women due to cancer. Increasing breast cancer risk may associate with many factors including genetic, reproductive factors, people's lifestyle, metabolic syndrome (MS) and hormones. MS has been known as a risk factor for prostate, pancreatic, breast and colorectal cancers. The purpose of this review is to identify the relationship between MS components and breast cancer individually. This study was performed by researching electronic database references including PubMed, Google Scholar, CINAHL ProQuest, and web of science through 2019. The effect of MS with its components and breast cancer was reported in many studies. Nevertheless, a thorough understanding of the mechanisms involved remains a challenge. However, one can take several preventive measures, including a proper diet, which is one of the most important determinants of metabolic status. Also, general preventive recommendations are including reducing alcohol consumption, red meat and total fat in the diet. Moreover, increasing the consumption of vegetable and fruit reduce the proportion of MS patients to improve the outcome of breast cancer patients.

Intermediate geomaterials (IGMs) have been long recognized as highly variable geomaterials that introduce challenges during the design and construction of driven piles. Because of the lack of a well-organized and high-quality-assured database of driven piles in IGMs, adequate studies are limited to establishing trustworthy design methodologies and to calibrate load and resistance factor design procedures. Static analysis (SA) methods formulated using pile data on soils are currently employed for estimating resistances of piles driven in IGMs. An electronic database (WyoPile) enriched with complete data for static and dynamic analysis of 35 steel H-piles driven in IGMs was developed. WyoPile was used to evaluate the efficiency of five SA methods for estimation of shaft resistance and end bearing of piles driven in IGMs. Current SA methods are proven to be inefficient in the estimation of both shaft resistance and end bearing due to relatively low efficiency factors. Moreover, an economic impact study reveals the overestimation of pile resistances by current SA methods using the AASHTO recommendations, which result in cost overruns associated with driving additional steel piles with an average of 0.085 kg/kN (0.84 lb/kip) of the applied load. Objective: To present a code-driven, electronic database for patients TrEated with robotic-assisted radiCaL prostAtectomy (TECLA), developed at Innlandet Hospital (IH), Trust, Norway, for research, local quality control and to deliver data to the National Cancer Registry of Norway (CRN). Clinical data are directly extracted from the structured documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Materials and methods: The urological department at IH treats about 200 patients with robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) annually. All consenting patients registered with the procedure code for RARP are included in TECLA. Clinical data are obtained automatically from the EMR, by structured forms. Patient-reported outcome and experience measures (PROMs and PREMs) are filled in by the patients on an iPad or a smartphone. Results: The basic construct of TECLA is presented. From August 2017 to June 2018, 200 men were treated with RARP, of which 182 (91%) provided consent for inclusion in the register. Of these, 97% completed the PROM survey before treatment and 91% at 3 months follow-up. PREMs were completed by 78%. All clinical variables for the hospital stay and for the 6-week follow-up were more than 95% complete. Conclusion: This entirely electronic surgical quality register is easy to use, both for patients and clinicians, and has a high capture rate. The data collection is linked to the clinicians' workflow, without double data entry, so entering data does not add any extra work. During scientificstudies on reciprocating self-ignition marine engines, varying data are often needed. Such data are often in various collections and obtaining some of these is very difficult. Therefore, as it was elaborated in the electronic database about the important marine reciprocating combustion engine producers for the needs of operating scientific investigations aiming at gathering the essential information and technical data in one set. This article also presents a reference to existing databases. Important and globally known companies, as well as their constant and variable data, were described. These data were obtained from various printed and virtual sources of information. These data were selected and compiled in the environment of the Microsoft Access computer program. The collected information was divided between main propulsion and auxiliary engines, containing data about manufacturers, types, and technical parameters of slow, medium, or high-speed combustion engines. This database is constantly updated and rebuilt according to the constructions and changes on the engine production market as the result of economic and ecological functions. It is a relative type database, which contains information about technical data of combustion engines. Marine combustion engines are usually operated for dozens of years after they have been produced, whereas producers merge, change their names, or stop existing. Therefore, a digital-knowledge-management platform was developed in the virtual space in which information on scientific and technical resources was integrated of competing manufacturers with the option of introducing updates.
