Abstract

This paper deals with the problem of H∞ model reduction for two-dimensional (2D) discrete Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems described by Fornasini-Marchesini local state-space (FM LSS) models, over finite frequency (FF) domain. New design conditions guaranteeing the FF H∞ model reduction are established in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). To highlight the effectiveness of the proposed H∞ model reduction design, a numerical example is given.

A numerical example is employed to illustrate the validity of the proposed methods.

Abstract

30th Mediterranean Conference on Control and Automation (MED), Athens, GREECE, JUN 28-JUL 01, 2022; International audience; In this work, robustness and convergence properties of model reduction are investigated for discrete two-dimensional (2D) systems in the Fornasini-Marchesini (F-M) model with polytopic uncertainties. The goal is to design a reduced order model minimizing H-infinity performance in a known finite-frequency (FF) area of the noises able to reproduce the behavior of the uncertain 2D original system. Using Lyapunov function and generalized Kalman Yakubovich Popov (gKYP) lemma, sufficient conditions for the existence of the FF reduced order design approach are formulated as feasibility of a set of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). Numerical simulations are given to illustrate the validity and feasibility of the designed reduced-order model.

Abstract

This paper considers the problem of H∞model reduction design for two-dimensional (2D) discrete-time Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems described by Roesser model, over finite frequency (FF) domain. The problem to be solved in the paper is to find a reduced-order model such that the approximation error system is asymptotically stable, which is able to approximate the original T-S fuzzy system with comparatively small and minimised H∞performance when frequency ranges of noises are known beforehand. Via the use of the generalised Kalman Yakubovich Popov (gKYP) lemma, new design conditions guaranteeing the FF H∞model reduction are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). To highlight the effectiveness of the proposed H∞model reduction design, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness and the less conservativeness of the proposed approach.

23. Développement d’un procédé d’électrodéposition séquentielle pour fabrication des microbilles à haute densité

Abstract

Aujourd’hui l’industrie des semiconducteurs aborde une époque requérant le couplage de l’innovation au niveau de l'assemblage avec la mise à l’échelle des dispositifs. Cette dernière n’est plus l’élément clé qui propulse l’évolution technologique à cause de l’énorme investissement requis vis-à-vis sa rentabilité qui devient de plus en plus limitée. Avec la réorientation de l’intérêt de la majorité des acteurs vers l’innovation au niveau des assemblages, cette thèse s’inscrit dans un contexte d’amélioration de la fiabilité des assemblages de larges puces renversées pour le calul haute performance à travers le développement des microbilles de brasures à faible coût et de métallurgie optimisée. Des microbilles de brasure à faible coût et hétérogènes sont proposées comme une approche simple qui présente des bénéfices métallurgiques et économiques. D’une part, l’électrodéposition séquentielle des couches de Sn et Ag pures au lieu d’alliage est réalisée à un faible coût d’acquisition et avec une simplicité de maintenance. D’une autre part, la même installation d’électrodéposition de Sn et Ag purs peut servir à la fabrication d’une multitude de brasures avec différentes teneurs en Ag. Malgré le besoin d’une standardisation des procédés de fabrication des microbilles, les motivations citées précédemment peuvent constituer un facteur d’attraction pour l’industrie afin de l’adopter comme alternative à l’électrodéposition conventionnelle des alliages. En plus de son faible coût, l’approche de fabrication des microbilles par électrodéposition séquentielle amène une flexibilité métallurgique avec l’utilisation d’une barrière qui limite la diffusion d’Ag. Cette dernière résulte en une microbille de brasure unique, qui peut à la fois i) avoir une structure hétérogène avec une faible teneur en Ag dont la ductilité élevée est maintenue à proximité des couches fragiles de la métallisation de la puce lors des étapes de l’assemblage; ii) avoir une forme en pilier dont des bénéfices son

Abstract

In this article, we propose the issue of H∞ deconvolution filtering for two‐dimensional (2D) systems described by the Fornasini–Marchesini local state‐space model. The main challenge is the design of a deconvolution filter to rebuild the 2D signal so that the filter error system is asymptotically stable and preserves a guaranteed H∞ performance. To overcome this issue, we use some free matrix variables to eliminate coupling between Lyapunov matrix and system matrices to obtain sufficient conditions in linear matrix inequality form to ensure the desired stability and performance of the error systems in the first time. Moreover, we use the orthogonal moments to extract the feature vectors to generate the input system, with the minimum information with and without noise. Simulation examples are provided to show that the new design technology proposed in this article achieves better H∞ performance than the existing design methods. Finally, this work can be very helpful tools for the practitioners in telecommunication, and data scientists to aid them in deconvolution, diagnostic, and transmission. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

International audience; This paper deals with H∞ filtering problem of linear discrete-time uncertain systems with finite frequency input signals. The uncertain parameters are supposed to reside in a polytope. By applying the generalized Kalman–Yakubovich–Popov lemma, polynomially parameter-dependentLyapunov function and some key matrices to eliminate the product terms between the filter parameters and the Lyapunov matrices, an improved condition isobtained for analyzing the H∞performance of the filtering error system. Then sufficient condition in terms of linear matrix inequality is established for designing filters with a guaranteed H∞ filtering performance level. Finally, a numerical examples are used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract

This paper addresses the problem of H∞model reduction design in finite frequency ranges for discrete-time nonlinear systems. With the aid of the generalised Kalman-Yakubovich-Popov (gKYP) lemma, the Lyapunov theory, and some matrix inequality techniques, sufficient conditions for the finite frequency model reduction problem are derived. The design conditions are given in terms of sufficient parameter-dependent linear matrix inequalities that can be solved through relaxations based on semi-definite programming. The advantages of the proposed approach are illustrated through numerical examples and comparisons with other available techniques.
