[ES] En este proyecto se realiza el diseño de un chasis para un kart de competición grupo II cumpliendo la normativa técnica de la CIK-FIA (Internacional) y la RFEDA (Nacional). Se realiza un análisis estructural del chasis para comprobar la resistencia del mismo. Se incluye el cálculo justificativo y dimensionado mediante software específico, presupuesto, planos, etc., [EN] The intention of this Final Degree Project is to design a chassis for a group II competition kart complying with the technical regulations of the CIK-FIA and the RFEDA. Specifically, the objective is to design a chassis that meets the requirements to participate in the Spanish Karting Championship in the Senior category and also at the same time to be able to compete in the World Karting Championship in the OK category. This project begins with an historical and technical introduction to the field of karting so that any reader, whether or not they have any knowledge of this field, can understand the project. Subsequently, the design phase is presented, in which the chassis design is carried out using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Once the design is finished, a structural analysis of the chassis designed using the finite element method (FEM) is carried out to check its resistance to the different stresses that it will be subjected to during use. Finally, the results obtained in the tests carried out and a series of final conclusions that we can obtain once the project is completed are presented. In this project narrative you can also find aspects related to the manufacturing processes of the chassis, blueprints and budget, as well as an annex section where all the regulations used in this project can be found.
