In order to utilize the energy from the renewable energy sources, power conversion system is necessary, in which the voltage source inverter (VSI) is usually the last stage for injecting power to the grid. It is an economical solution to add the function of power quality conditioning to the grid-connected VSI in the low-voltage distribution system. Two multifunctional VSIs are studied in this paper, that is, inductive-coupling VSI and capacitive-coupling VSI, which are named after the fundamental frequency impedance of their coupling branch. The operation voltages of the two VSIs are compared when they are used for renewable energy integration and power quality conditioning simultaneously. The operation voltage of the capacitive-coupling VSI can be set much lower than that of the inductive-coupling ИИН when reactive power is for compensating inductive loads. Since a large portion of the loads in the distribution system are inductive, the capacitive-coupling VSI is further studied. The design and control method of the multifunctional capacitive-coupling VSI are proposed in this paper. Simulation and experimental results are provided to show its validity.

This paper proposes a smart energy management system for a smart home that combines solar energy and energy from storage devices to reduce dependence on the grid and make the system more economical. The proposed system manages the energy needs of a smart home by properly rescheduling and organising the flow of energy between energy storage devices, the grid and photovoltaic installations. The energy system can absorb excess power from the developed system when the load demand is low and on the other hand, it can supply energy to the load in case of peak demand. Thus, in the developed system, the user is able to sell additional power in order to generate revenue. Careful modelling of the system has been carried out and the results show the effectiveness of the approach in terms of managing energy between different sources.

This article is devoted to the organization of car parking spaces and the effective use of solar panels as the main power source for an automated parking complex. A brief review of the automatic parking system of the rotary type is made, the advantages over other types of parking are considered. The parking complex is powered by solar panels installed on the facade and roof of the structure. Also, a system of automatic switching on of the reserve (AIR) is provided, where the government electric network is a backup source. The electrical load of the parking system for 14 parking spaces was calculated, according to which solar panels, motor, frequency converter, inverters, battery pack and auxiliary equipment were selected. The parking system worked out in the article can be recommended for manufacturing at domestic machine-building plants and installed near offices, administrative buildings and high-rise houses. Installation, commissioning of a solar power plant can be performed by a domestic company, equipment can be purchased from China.

Anaerobic digestion attempts a cost-effective variation to incineration and landscapes, reproducing as it is dealt with the most suitable treatment solution. As far as we know, biogas is naturally produced by the fermentation of organic waste in anaerobic reactors, has up to 40 - 60% of methane, and restrains and save energy while securing the environment via the decrease of greenhouse gas emissions. This process is fully consistent with the policy of sustainable development. The purpose of this article is to popularize the method of biomethanization of organic waste or anaerobic digestion to obtain renewable energy and a cleaner environment through research results. Via this abstract, we made experimental testing contained in the laboratory as confirmation. Mesophilic anaerobic absorption of cow manure in an experimental digester with a volume of 800 liters produced 26.478 m3 of biogas in 77 days with an average optimal methane composition of 61% and an energy equivalent of 592.8 MJ (164.5 kWh). These results are encouraging when using the masses of cattle waste or even household waste available in Kazakhstan.
