Resumen: Este artículo presenta tendencias generales de investigación de relacionamiento económico y negocios internacionales, a partir de la revisión de la literatura científica. En consecuencia, el objetivo consistió en examinar las trayectorias temáticas a partir de las publicaciones científicas que circulan en Scopus. Como método se utilizaron técnicas de minería de datos y análisis de contenido, para identificar clúster en el campo de estudio, en una ventana de observación que abarca cerca de tres décadas de publicaciones, identificando tópicos centrales y jerarquizados. El alcance de este artículo está orientado a mostrar una visión general del estado actual de producción de conocimiento que permita a los académicos e investigadores orientar futuras investigaciones en el campo de los negocios internacionales. Los seis grupos más importantes fueron: primero, procesos de expansión y estudios sobre la empresa; segundo, productividad y comportamiento de exportación; tercero, sobre relaciones laborales; cuarto acerca de la globalización; quinto, acuerdos y tratados, y sexto logística. Abstract: This paper discusses general research trends in economic relations and international business, based on the review of scientific literature. The objective hereof was to examine subject backgrounds from the scientific publications included in the Scopus database. Data mining and content analysis techniques were the methods used to identify clusters in the field of study, in an observation window covering nearly three decades of publications, identifying core and hierarchical topics. The article seeks to provide an overview of the current state of knowledge production, thus allowing academics and researchers to guide future research within the field of international business. The six most important groups were the following: company studies and expansion processes; productivity and export behavior; labor relations; globalization; agreements and treaties, and logistics. O objetivo desse instrumento foi examinar os temas de origens das publicações científicas incluídas na base de dados Scopus. Como método, técnicas de mineração de dados e análise de conteúdo foram utilizadas para identificar agrupamentos no campo de estudo, em uma janela de observação que abrange quase três décadas de publicações, identificando tópicos centrais e hierárquicos. O objetivo deste artigo é mostrar uma visão geral do estado atual da produção de conhecimento que permite a acadêmicos e pesquisadores orientar futuras pesquisas no campo dos negócios internacionais. Os seis grupos mais importantes foram os seguintes: estudos sobre a empresa e processos de expansão; comportamento de produtividade e exportação; relações laborais; globalização; acordos e tratados, e logística.

Resumen Este estudio tiene como objetivo reconocer las prácticas y circunstancias en las que se desarrolla el trabajo informal que impulsa los procesos de metropolización entre Soacha y Bogotá. Para el efecto se revisa el crecimiento poblacional en el municipio de Soacha donde se registra una ampliación del sector comercial informal. Entender estos procesos es importante en virtud de que el crecimiento acelerado del municipio ha llevado a un desconocimiento del comercio informal y sus particularidades y ha derivado en que los trabajadores informales, las instituciones y la misma población no coordinen estrategias para garantizar los derechos y deberes de cada una de las partes. Por tanto, el trabajo se desarrolla a partir de dos ejes: por un lado se muestran los avances investigativos respecto a tres categorías: 1) el crecimiento poblacional de Soacha que busca las facilidades para asentarse en el municipio; 2) la informalidad como forma de subsistencia y protección ante las desigualdades de bienestar que el municipio ofrece en cuanto a la vivienda y el acceso al trabajo y 3) la metropolización enfocada en determinar relaciones, de dependencia o no, que se entablan entre las partes involucradas. Por otro lado, se realiza un trabajo de campo que busca reconocer la conveniencia del comercio informal en ciertas partes, la procedencia de los trabajadores, las conductas de organización y apropiación del espacio, el lugar de la institucionalidad de cara al fenómeno y, por último, las dinámicas que llevan a la informalidad a convertirse en un eje fundamental para la metropolización desde la misma población. Abstract This study aims to recognize the practices and circumstances in which is developed the informal work that drives the metropolization processes between Soacha and Bogotá. For this purpose, the study reviews the population growth in the municipality of Soacha, where there is an expansion of the informal commercial sector. Understanding these processes is important taking in account that the accelerated growth of the municipality has led to a lack of knowledge about informal trade and its particularities, which has trigged in uncoordinated strategies among the informal workers, institutions and the population itself for guarantee the rights and duties of each of the parts. Therefore, the work is developed from two axes: on one hand, it shows the research advances according to three categories: 1) the population growth of Soacha that seeks the facilities to settle in the municipality; 2) the informality as a subsistence and protection way against the inequalities of welfare that the municipality offers in terms of housing and access to work and 3) the metropolization focused on determine relationships, of dependence or not, that are established between the parts involved. On the other hand, it is carried out a fieldwork that seeks to recognize the convenience of informal trade in certain parts, the origin of the workers, the behaviors around the organization and appropriation of the space, the institutional place in view of the phenomenon and, finally, the dynamics that lead the informality to become a fundamental axis of the metropolization from the same population. Resumo O objetivo deste trabalho é reconhecer as práticas e as circunstâncias nas quais é desenvolvido o trabalho informal que impulsiona os processos de metropolização entre Soacha e Bogotá. Para isso, é revisado o crescimento populacional no município de Soacha, onde é registrada uma ampliação do setor comercial informal. Entender esses processos é importante em virtude de que o crescimento acelerado do município levou a um desconhecimento do comércio informal e suas particularidades, e derivou em que os trabalhadores informais, as instituições e a mesma população não coordenam estratégias para garantir os direitos e os deveres de cada uma das partes. Portanto, o trabalho é desenvolvido a partir de dois eixos. Por um lado, são apresentados os avanços de pesquisa a respeito de três categorias: 1) o crescimento populacional de Soacha que procura as facilidades para assentar no município; 2) a informalidade como forma de sobrevivência e proteção ante as desigualdades de bem-estar que o município oferece quanto à moradia e ao acesso ao trabalho, e 3) a metropolização focada em determinar relações, de dependência ou não, que são estabelecidas entre as partes envolvidas. Por outro lado, é realizado um trabalho de campo que pretende reconhecer a conveniência do comércio informal em certas partes, a procedência dos trabalhadores, as condutas de organização e apropriação do espaço, o lugar da institucionalidade em face do fenômeno e, por último, as dinâmicas que levam à informalidade a se tornar um eixo fundamental para metropo-lizar a partir da mesma população.

Descriptions of foragers’ relations with their farmer neighbors in the central African forest have swung between dependence and independence. Among the classical works on foragers in the eastern Congo Basin forest, Schebesta depicted the relationship of foragers as being totally dependent on farmers, while Turnbull sharply emphasized the mutual independent characteristics of the two societies adopting the dichotomy of ‘forest world’ versus ‘village world’ (Schebesta 1933; Turnbull 1965). From the 1970s ecological studies on the subsistence economies has demonstrated that foragers and farmers are economically interdependent and are best understood as two different ethnic groups within a single society (Hart & Hart 1986; Ichikawa 1986; Terashima 1986). The purpose of this paper is to examine the economically interdependent but culturally antagonistic relationship of two coexisting societies, the Aka foragers and their neighboring Bantu farmers in northeastern Republic of the Congo. To place analysis of Aka-farmer relations within a comparative discussion of diversified forager-farmer relations in the central African forests is beyond the scope of this paper. Immediate concern here is to describe the ethnographic context of the hierarchical relationship within which the Aka and the farmers relate to one another. As such, the hierarchical and ambivalent relationship between the Aka and farmers describes a hitherto neglected aspect of the multiplex forager-farmer relations in the Congo Basin.

Galiausiai kodėl silpstant Vakarams bent jau kol kas nesimato tiesioginės konfrontacijos su Kinija? O taip pat, kaip elgsis JAV augančios Kinijos galios atžvilgiu? Kol kas šie klausimai išlieka neatsakyti, tačiau atsakymai į šiuos klausimus gali būti rasti JAV ir Kinijos dvišaliuose ekonominiuose santykiuose. Pagrindinis darbo objektas – 2004 – 2014 m. JAV ir Kinijos ekonominių dvišalių santykių tendencijos. Darbe analizuojant JAV ir Kinijos tarpusavio užsienio prekybos srautus, o taip pat abipuses tiesiogines investicijas bandoma išsiaiškinti galimas priežastis, kurios lemia dabartinius ganėtinai šiltus minėtųjų valstybių santykius. Taip pat analizuojant galimus politinius pokyčius abiejose valstybėse bandoma identifikuoti galimas šių pokyčių įtakas ilgalaikiams dvišaliams JAV ir Kinijos santykiams. The relationship between the United States and China in these days are one of the most popular topics in public discourse. The rise of China’s power and economic problems and first weakness signs of the United States are promoting these discussions even more. The relationship between these two main world economies are very important to other countries. Naturally there are some questions like: why there is no direct confrontation between the United States and China if they are competing in the global political arena or how will the United States react in the meaning of rising China? For now these questions are unanswered, but the answer might be in the bilateral economic relationship between these two countries. Main thesis object is tendencies in the United States and China bilateral economic relationship in the period of 2004 – 2014. By analyzing the amounts of the United States and China bilateral trade and foreign direct investments, author tries to find potential reasons why these two countries are not confronting each other. The globalization is the period of economic transformation according to the business competition. A number of multinational companies from industrial countries have to move their productions to a new emerging country which has a lower-labor cost, a strategic location, as well as an access to production material. Sweden is one of those countries that decide to re-locate their business center in other countries. The capital of Swedish companies has been distributed especially in Asian countries. Thailand is one of destinations that Swedish companies prefer to put the capital because of its labor cost, human quality, and strategic location. The objective of this thesis is to present the consequence of multinational companies from Sweden in Thailand as the main purpose. The economic relationship and cultural harmonization between these two countries will be discussed. This study is a qualitative research which requires qualitative methods to analyze data. Qualitative interviewing, case study and second data analysis has been the main approaches for data collection. The result of the study brings the conclusion that the capital movement from Sweden to Thailand during the globalization brings the positive development to both sides. Sweden gains more business revenue both in Thailand and Asian region, while Thailand gains wealth and sustainable development from the Swedish investment.
