The role of entrepreneurship in addressing the issue of educated unemployment is well acknowledged, while its specific implications for health professions students remain inadequately explored. This study's main objective is to investigate entrepreneurship education's effect on entrepreneurial intention by considering entrepreneurial self-efficacy as a mediator in students majoring in medical laboratory technology. This quantitative research uses an exploratory approach involving 300 respondents determined through simple random sampling techniques and analyzed using partial least square structural equation model (PLS-SEM). The analysis revealed that entrepreneurship education directly impacts self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, entrepreneurial self-efficacy was identified to exert a positive mediating effect between these variables. However, the effect size between the relationships of the research variables is low. Nevertheless, higher education offering health majors can optimize entrepreneurship education by implementing practical learning and field experience to increase confidence and intention in entrepreneurial activities.

Soft skills-based learning is very important to equip vocational high school students, one of which is entrepreneurship. This research aims to develop entrepreneurship learning through the "menara berkah" model. This research aims to develop entrepreneurship learning through the "menara berkah" model. This research is a type of development research including predevelopment stage of the model, model development, and validation or model testing stage. The research sample amounted to 25 people from two vocational high schools in Palembang and Yogyakarta. While data collection techniques using mixed methods and data analysis using statistical tests. Based on the construct of the model content assessment results obtained an average of 4.45, this score indicates that all aspects are components that are feasible to be used as material or content of entrepreneurship-based learning management models in the catering expertise competency. The "menara berkah" model is proven to be effective and applicable, with an average achievement of 4.76%, this indicates that this model can be used and can make it easier, especially in entrepreneurship-based learning. The results also show six competencies that must be possessed by students, namely: technical skills, decision making, organizational skills, marketing and financial management, risk taking, creativity, and innovation.

Researchers and educators have been exploring innovative methods in entrepreneurship education to address traditional approach failure at engaging students and developing their skills. Educational technology has shown promising results in early studies. Yet, there is a scarcity of reviews on their effectiveness in developing entrepreneurial competencies. This paper systematically reviews the empirical literature on the outcomes of educational technology used to teach entrepreneurship at higher education institutions. From an initial 316 search hits, 26 articles were selected for in-depth review. The learning outcomes were translated into entrepreneurial competencies, using the EntreComp Framework as a reference. Findings show that educational technologies, in general, positively impacted entrepreneurial competencies, especially financial and economic literacy, motivation and perseverance, and initiative taking. Gaming and simulations were the most researched, having an overall positive influence, while online learning and MOOCs showed limited and sometimes contradictory effects. The study fills the scholarly gap by connecting educational technology, entrepreneurship education, and entrepreneurial competencies. It provides a basic mapping linking each educational technology to the competencies it develops and advocates for a competency-based pedagogy in the delivery and assessment of entrepreneurship education. Educators can apply the findings and the mapping developed in this study to design and deliver entrepreneurship courses, incorporating educational technologies more insightfully and effectively in their pedagogies.

This study focused on the perception of the students on entrepreneurship education. Entrepreneurship education is considered an effective tool for influencing students' learning orientation and expression. This study examined the effects of entrepreneurship education and learning on the entrepreneurial implementation intentions of students at the Universities. This study employed an explanatory method. For the study, 600 questionnaires were collected from north Indian university students. Multiple regression was used for the analysis of the study. The results showed that teaching methods significantly impact entrepreneurship stimulate students' interest and enhance students' knowledge innovation for business start-ups. The findings of the analysis also revealed that practical activities are mainly based on vocational skill activities, the teaching methods should contain extensive attention to critical thinking and idea generation activities as graded mechanisms of the degree program. It was also recommended that engagement of students with entrepreneurial development initiatives provided by institutions should involve students across all degree levels. Therefore, to increase the prospect of assignation in entrepreneurial activities after graduation students should generate viable business ideas, identify market gaps, engage in business startups, and practical business plans, and engage in invention and innovations. Intrapreneurship skill has considered as the alternative learning outcomes of entrepreneurship education. However, entrepreneurship teachers need a complex learning program to develop intrapreneurship among business students. At the same time, The Ministry of Education and Culture of The Republic of Indonesia recommends university teachers implement case methods to deliver complex learning environments and build critical skills among students. Therefore, this study aims to i) examine the effect of micro small medium enterprise (MSME) cases on the intrapreneurship of business students, ii) investigate the influence of MSME cases on flow experience in entrepreneurship education and iii) investigate the effect of flow experience during entrepreneurship education on intrapreneurship skill. We used field experiments on entrepreneurship and digital business student in business development courses. The result indicates that the case method effectively developed student intrapreneurship skill and flow experience during the course positively impacting student intrapreneurship skill.

Since 2015, a continuous online integration training service has been active. In 2021, eight integration instructors, teaching online for two to six years across diverse regions participated in semi-structured interviews. Analysing the technology-mediated community formed by teachers and learners, we explored how the entirely online, gradually growing teacher community operates. The interviews revealed four influential categories for the teacher's work which encompass individual resources, antifragility resilience, collaborative resources, and an entrepreneurial mindset. An entrepreneurial mindset fosters collaboration and community, thereby enhancing learners' engagement in online learning and social inclusion. The study highlighted key factors for social impact within the community: informal teacher chats, the mentor-mentee model in learning design, shared materials, teacher rotation, direct collaboration with learners' environments and employers, and information shareability. This teacher community proved to be entrepreneurial and involves learners in co-design individualized integration training connected to their living situations. Entrepreneurial mindset. However, challenges in sustain, antifragile and developing online teaching, such as psychological insecurity, diversity of teachers and learners, heightened competition, time management, and workload, were also noted.

This study examines the entrepreneurial intentions of Austrian secondary school students, specifically comparing students from commercial schools with those from general education schools. We analyzed 2,329 data sets and found that subjective beliefs, primarily behavioral and control beliefs, significantly influence entrepreneurial intentions. In addition, demographic factors such as gender, language, acquaintance with entrepreneurs, and school type play a significant role in explaining the variance in entrepreneurial intentions. Our detailed analysis shows that students from commercial schools have stronger entrepreneurial intentions and subjective beliefs. Particularly notable are the differences in behavioral beliefs, where students from commercial schools find all aspects of entrepreneurship more attractive, especially job creation, taking calculated risks, and being one's own boss. The differences in control beliefs suggest that commercial school students also feel better prepared for entrepreneurial tasks, especially in identifying market opportunities, securing financial resources, and maintaining relationships. These findings are consistent with the business and entrepreneurial focus of commercial schools, suggesting that they are effectively nurturing the entrepreneurial potential of their students. In considering instructional improvements for commercial schools, whether they should further increase their focus on aspects where students from both types of schools show minimal or no significant differences.

Vocational high schools aim to create graduates who are ready to work, but in reality, many graduates are not ready to work at this time. Low employability is the main problem. This study aims to design and test a theoretical model of the effect of entrepreneurial readiness, adversity quotient, and social intelligence on employability in vocational high school students. The population of this study was students of class XII vocational high school "X" in Moyudan, Sleman, which consisted of 209 students. The sample in this study was 68 students selected by cluster random sampling technique. The data collection method used employability scales, entrepreneurial readiness scales, adversity quotient scales, and social intelligence scales. Data were analyzed using the structural equation model (SEM) through the Smart Partial Least Square 3.3.9 program. The results of this study are the formation of a model of the influence of entrepreneurial readiness, adversity quotient, and social intelligence on employability that is appropriate (fit) with empirical data. The adversity quotient has a positive and very significant effect on employability, while entrepreneurship readiness and social intelligence have no impact on employability. This model can be used as a valid reference in developing employability variables.

This research aims to analyze "Gusjigang" ("bagus" (superior), "ngaji" (religious science), and "dagang" (trade)) as a model of strengthening character education based on local wisdom in the digital era. This research methodology uses a systematic literature review with in-depth analysis. The results of this study show that the dimensions of "Gusjigang" can foster moral goodness, intellectual development, and entrepreneurial spirit. In this case, the younger generation can build a strong ethical foundation, utilize technology wisely, and contribute to the development of themselves and society. By combining "Gusjigang" values and digital technology, it can create a model of character education that is relevant, strengthens cultural identity, and can adapt to changing times without losing its roots and fundamental values.

The potential for vocational students to achieve success in entrepreneurship is considerable, especially since they have acquired specific skills that are in line with their area of specialization since the beginning of their vocational schooling. However, schools cannot be alone in promoting entrepreneurial careers among vocational students. This study aims to measure the role of three educational centers, in influencing self-efficacy, entrepreneurial intention and career choice as an entrepreneur. This study was approached with a quantitative approach using structural equation modeling (SEM), the sample in the study was 354 vocational students. Data analysis through four stages, namely exploratory factor analysis, normality and outlier tests, confirmatory factor analysis and hypotheses testing (structural model). The results showed that the three education centers significantly influence self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention which in turn can encourage students to choose a career as an entrepreneur. This research contributes to the understanding of how the three education centers can be an important catalyst in shaping a generation of resilient and innovative entrepreneurs.

The objective of this article is to synthesize the components of entrepreneurial orientation of higher education student using a systematic literature review methodology. Information was sought by searching the following electronic journal databases: 1) Eric (Education Resources Information Center), 2) Science Direct, 3) Scopus, and 4) Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) covering publications from 2015 to 2023. The tool used in this systematic literature review consists of 3 parts: research screening form, critical appraisal form and data extraction table. Research selection is carried out by researchers and experts. Analyzing data by using descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, and summary analysis of content. The research results indicate that out of a total of 1,205 studies identified, only 13 met the criteria. The researchers selected the components of entrepreneurial orientation of higher education student level that occurred with a frequency of three or more, constituting 25 percent of the total frequency. In conclusion, the components of entrepreneurial orientation of higher education student consists of 5 elements, ranked from highest to least frequent, as follows: 1) Risk Taking, 2) Innovativeness, 3) Proactiveness, 4) Autonomy, and 5) Competitive Aggressiveness.

Research has confirmed that people's attitudes towards starting their own business may be influenced by their education, age, gender and prior entrepreneurial experiences. To support the employability and economic success of tourism graduates, this study, conducted in the South African context, aimed to explore the predictors of tourism students' interest and motivation towards starting their tourism-related businesses after graduation. A survey questionnaire was employed to gather information from 154 randomly selected tourism students at a comprehensive university in South Africa. The first phase of data analyses dealt with the assessment of the measurement model, while the second phase tested the structural model using the partial least square-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) method implemented on SmartPLS software. The results indicate that certain student profile characteristics (such as age, gender, completing entrepreneurship module, self-assurance and satisfaction level) had significant effects on entrepreneurial desirability and feasibility (DF), entrepreneurial attributes (EA) and entrepreneurship education (EE). Further, the results reveal that EE did not differ by age, EA did not vary by gender and DF was not influenced by tourism students' self-assurance (SA). The study suggests that the institution under investigation uses appropriate experiential pedagogical approaches to provide tourism students with the 'know-how' and other necessary 'hands-on skills' to improve their capacity to launch new businesses. Contribution: This article is important for higher education in general, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa, because it not only contributes to the literature on entrepreneurship but equally helps higher education institutions to integrate tourism entrepreneurship modules into their curricula

The increase in borderless digital-based business competition shows how language education is impacted by neoliberalism in this global era. We explore how linguistic technopreneurship (LT) roles is increasingly constructed as a form of linguistic entrepreneurship to exploit language-related resources to enhance one's socioeconomic value strategically. This research aims to critically examine the influence of LT toward business success digitalization for Small Medium Enterprises in West Java and it's implication for Language Education. The research also focusing on the creation of novelty, namely linguistic technopreneurship (LT), which is a refinement of entrepreneurial linguistics (EL). LT is expected to be able to explain how linguistic entrepreneurship can be indexed from two different aspects, namely how to package language education and digital business success. We then discuss under what conditions the notion of linguistic technopreneurship can be applied to digital platform-based business settings and what kind of contradictions this gives rise to. The method used is quantitative, and it involves carrying out SEM analysis. A non-probability sampling technique was used to obtain a minimum of 250 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Industry owners who run their businesses through digital platforms in West Java province, which is the province with the most significant number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Industries in Indonesia. The research results show that LT significantly influences the success of business success and impact the language education practice. It can be concluded that language education is an added value for a person and influences socioeconomic success.

Finding a way out for new business creation has been a global issue, and the Indonesian government has responded to this issue by promoting entrepreneurship programs for students. For this matter, understanding the role of the entrepreneurial ecosystem can be used to design and promote business for university students. This study employed structural equation modeling with partial least squares to raise understanding among variables. This study involved an entrepreneurial ecosystem to explain the intention of Indonesian university students to do business. The findings indicate that the entrepreneurial ecosystem robustly links with students' entrepreneurial intention and new business creation. This study confirms that access to finance, government programs, support, access to physical infrastructure factors, education, and training factors are crucial for determining Indonesian university students' business. The theoretical and practical implications were provided in this research.

This paper sets out the importance of teaching contextualized understandings of value within different disciplinary contexts in order to enhance employability and to foster greater levels of engagement with enterprise and entrepreneurship education. Key research has recognised the broader benefits of enterprise and entrepreneurship education, including that of developing graduate employability. Yet enterprise and entrepreneurship may not feel comfortable or relevant to students (Enterprise Educators UK (EEUK), 2012; Henry, 2013). It has been identified that students can better relate to enterprise and entrepreneurship when it is contextualised in professions, sectors and communities of practice, moving away from a focus on venture creation and start up (Gibb, 2005). We argue that taking an approach which is explicitly based on value creation is a crucial driver of student engagement with enterprise and entrepreneurship education. This needs to be based in students' individual values, embedded in their disciplines, and related to the communities of practice which as graduates they will go on to be part of. When grounded in the creation of value at an individual, disciplinary, and societal level, enterprise and entrepreneurship education can appeal to a wider constituency of students. In this paper, we discuss how value creation is understood in three diverse academic disciplines, Business, Biomedical Science and Music. Building on key research and drawing on our extensive practice as educators, we argue that explicitly foregrounding understandings of value within our different disciplinary contexts and developing appropriately contextualized, experiential forms of value creation-based pedagogy, is key to student engagement and enhances graduate employability. In the 21st century, Indonesian education must generate life skills for dealing with the era of society 5.0. Bioentrepreneurship skills are one of those needed to achieve the primary goal of society 5.0. However, teaching modules that combine entrepreneurship skills still need to be improved. This research aims to produce project-based learning teaching modules on plant growth and development material to train valid and practical society 5.0 (bioentrepreneurship) era skills. This research used a 4D. The teaching module's validity was determined by the validation results of three experienced lecturers. The practicality of the teaching module was measured based on the results of the readability test. The results of the teaching module validity test obtained an average score of 3.8, which is very valid. The results of the practicality test are reviewed from the textbook readability test, which is categorized as level 12 with a practical category. The results showed that project-based learning teaching modules on plant growth and development material are valid and practical to train the skills of the era of society 5.0 (bioentrepreneurship). Society era 5.0 (bioentrepreneurship) skills students can be trained by integrating plant growth and development biology material with microgreens cultivation project activities in project-based learning modules.

Building 21st-century life science skills requires educating participants according to STEM abilities. Therefore, this research aimed to examine the effectiveness and feasibility of the STEM ability assessment framework in the practical learning environment. The study uses STEM coffee preparation experiential activity with a Royal Belgian siphon pot to construct a learning environment in the classroom. The study also develops two assessment instruments, a knowledge concept questionnaire, and an entrepreneurial scientific thinking scale, to examine their effectiveness and feasibility in the STEM learning environment. The results of the content validity index reveal the value of good-grade literature for two questionnaires. Kendall's coefficient of concordance ([omega]) of the four reviewers' responses shows that the inter-rater reliability of the two questionnaires reaches a better level. The Chi-square test found that this STEM learning environment is feasible and effective and will help the participants assess their STEM abilities. The entrepreneurial scientific thinking for preparing beverages of life science is rich in viability and efficacy for instrument creation and assessment. Future research lengthened the extraction process while also improving consistency. Last but not least, more teaching practices and research designs are available. However, the goal is for learners' STEM aptitude to increase practice depth.

The goal of the study is to analyse the relation between students' digital learning and transversal skills, as well as between students' digital learning and virtues. In the correlative study, 73 teachers of Class 12 of general education institutions participated, filling out a questionnaire in the Google Docs environment. As a result of the theoretical analysis, the criteria for digital learning have been identified - access to digital technologies, cooperation, teachers' digital competence and availability of activities in compliance with cognitive engagement levels. The findings of the correlation analysis show that the availability of activities in compliance with cognitive engagement levels is the most important in the development of transversal skills, while in the inculcation of virtues - cooperation. The access to digital technologies has a statistically significant correlation with both transversal skills and virtues. The teachers' digital competence promotes digital literacy and such virtues as responsibility and wisdom. The recommendations developed as part of the study include compilation and promotion of the positive experiences of digital learning at the state and local government level; continuous monitoring and feedback analysis of purposeful digital learning and educational quality at school and classroom level; the application of digital learning resources based on the offer of activities in compliance with the students' cognitive engagement levels at the personal level.

This research measures the role of psycho-cybernetics training (PT), green entrepreneurship training (GET), and green entrepreneurship motivation (GEM) in determining GEI. Going even deeper, GEM was also tested for its mediating role on the influence of PT and GET in determining GEI. This study adopts an ex-post facto design that focuses on the condition of students after green entrepreneurship training and psycho-cybernetics reinforcement. A total of 294 university students in Indonesia were involved to fill out the questionnaire voluntarily. A Likert-scale questionnaire instrument whose items have been validated is used to collect data. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis is used to test the hypothesis of direct influence between variables and mediating roles through path analysis and bootstrap methods. The results of the direct effect test stated that PT and GET play a significant role in determining GEM, and PT, GET and GEM also play a significant role in determining GEI. The mediating role of GEM has also been tested to be significant in the influence of PT and GET in determining GEI. These results provide a big signal that in creating various green innovations in entrepreneurship, two aspects (technical skills and psychological conditions) are needed which are well synergized.

This study investigated the effect of project-based learning and self-efficacy on students' entrepreneurial readiness in vocational high school. Quasi-experimental method was used as a quantitative research design for this study. The setting of this study was SMKN 1 Sukasada, Buleleng, Bali in which 76 of eleventh grade students were selected as the research sample. They were selected by using random-matching sampling. The data were obtained through pre-test and post-test by using a performance test rubric as a research instrument. The obtained data were analyzed quantitatively through descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that project-based learning along with self-efficacy contributed to students' entrepreneurial readiness. Project-based learning boosted students' entrepreneurial readiness since they became the center of the learning process.

This article aims to show the results of implementing a training methodology in a group of participants within an intensive course on educational innovation. The motivation for this course was to promote innovative ideas that could be scaled into possible open educational entrepreneurship projects. Based on descriptive statistical analysis, that included a multivariate statistical analysis, an analysis of means and nonparametric tests of the data comparison of medians and ranges and Spearman's correlation, this article considered the SEL4C methodology, which was intended to support the ideation process and develop the participants' perceived achievement of social entrepreneurship and complex thinking competencies. The proposed methodology was validated to develop social innovation ideas even in a limited time and improved the participants' perception of achieving both competencies. This article contributes to the validation studies of this methodology and the academic approaches that seek efficient tools for acquiring and developing transdisciplinary competencies.

ChatGPT is taking the world and the education sector by storm. Many educators are still hesitant to integrate it within their curricula, owing to the limited practical and theoretical guidance on its applications, despite early conceptual studies advocating for its potential benefits. This pedagogical innovation applied an effectual logic to implement ChatGPT for a founding team activity within an entrepreneurship course. Composing a founding team is an inundating task in venture creation, with long-lasting consequences. So far, there is yet to be an ideal approach proposed in literature or observed in real-life for doing it. In this pedagogical innovation, three student teams with varying business ideas prompted ChatGPT using different keywords and levels of details, to get recommendations on essential team members, their roles and equity split. Each team presented their findings, and then the classroom engaged in a collective discussion. The students were surveyed afterwards to assess the reception and effectiveness of the intervention. Their feedback showed an overwhelming favoritism of ChatGPT, as a convenient and resourceful learning tool. The study establishes the potential value of ChatGPT as a heutagogical tool that supports student-centric entrepreneurial learning across educational institutions and the entrepreneurship ecosystem that extends to the venture creation process.

Despite the promising outcome of modular distance learning, its implementation is challenging. Thus, this study aimed to examine the usefulness and challenges of the implemented clustered self-directed learning modules in entrepreneurship for senior high school distance learning amidst the emerging pandemic using the descriptive-survey research method. This study was conducted at Espiritu Santo Parochial School of Manila, Inc., during the school year 2021-2022, among Grade 12 students using a stratified proportional random sampling technique. The study used both quantitative and qualitative methods of analyzing the data, including descriptive statistics and thematic analysis. As a result, all the modules were inferred to be very effective and very useful in terms of their usefulness for distance learning. On the other hand, there were six emergent themes from twenty-five challenges, as follows: (a) difficulties and limitations in theoretical and practical processes; (b) concerns about time constraints and academic workloads; (c) technical issues in learning modules; (d) problems with communication, lessons, and instructions; (e) issues with online learning, connectivity, and learning management systems; and (f) external and personal challenges as a student. These challenges were the basis in framing the recommendations of the students in addressing the aforementioned emergent themes.

Context: For many businesses, one of the key indicators in their management is the adaptation of Information Technology in their operations. In Kenya, there has been a phenomenal growth in access to mobile phones, by June 2023, over 66 million mobile phones were connected to various telecommunication operators of which 58.3% were smart phones constituting 67.1% of internet connections. There are many digital technologies which can be adapted to facilitate the processing, dissemination, and access of information. The modern world has become competitive due to the uptake of Information Technology as one of the main business management skill, with the availability of smart phones and many applications that are easily available and easy to use. One of the main beneficiaries of Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) is the Jua Kali artisans who are a key player in the Kenyan economy. Entrepreneurial competencies help the growth of businesses along the dimension of innovation. Kenya intends to entrench the use of Information Technology for public service delivery, business, skills, and innovation. The Jua Kali sector cannot be ignored, it contributes more than 80% of the total employment in Kenya. Approach: This research was carried out in the Eastlands of Nairobi, Kenya. Data were collected using a questionnaire, an interview and observation schedule. The study used an interview schedule to collect data from Jua Kali artisans carrying out their artisan businesses in the Eastlands of Nairobi and a questionnaire survey to collect data from a sample of identified Nairobi residents who had engaged an artisan to work for them six months prior to the research. Findings: The research established that most Jua Kali artisans acquired their skills in the Jua Kali sector by apprenticeship (86.3%) while a small percentage (12.7%) trained in Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET) institutions while a further one percent were trained by their former employers. Most of the artisans had attained the basic formal education qualifications i.e. primary education (27.9%) and secondary education (47.6%). The Chi-square (?²) test was used to test the relationship between use of the basic social media digital platforms in business management and the formal education attained by artisans owning artisan businesses. Conclusion: At 0.05 level of significance (a) the research established that there is a significant relationship between the adaptation of digital platforms in business management and the formal education attained by the artisans.

This study aims to determine the regulatory role of organizational support perceptions on the indirect impact of science teachers' entrepreneurship perceptions on innovation through work-life balance. The research was conducted within the functional paradigm and in a descriptive and relational survey model. The population of the study consists of full-time science teachers working in the districts of Üsküdar, Fatih, Pendik, Besiktas, Kadiköy, Maltepe, and Kartal in Istanbul, Turkey. In the research, four hundred and one science teachers were reached by taking the a=.05 table into account. These teachers were identified by simple random sampling and cluster sampling. In the research, "entrepreneurship, innovation, work-life balance, and organizational support" measurement tools were used. Confirmatory factor analysis and reliability analyses were performed for each of these measurement tools. SPSS 25, AMOS 23, and PROCESS MACRO 3.5 package programs were used for the data analysis of the research. Throughout the research, it was found that there is a statistically significant relationship between entrepreneurship, innovation, work-life balance, and organizational support averages. It was concluded that there is a mediating role of work-life balance in the relationship between entrepreneurship and innovation, and there is a moderating role of organizational support in the relationship between entrepreneurship and work-life balance. Entrepreneurship of science teachers enhances their innovation through work-life balance. Additionally, this indirect relationship is contingent on whether science teachers receive organizational support. In other words, when organizational support provided to science teachers is high, the entrepreneurship levels of science teachers further enhance their innovation through work-life balance.

Increasing the number of entrepreneurs is not just a school task, it requires joint work between educational institutions and the community. Using structural equation modeling, this research aims to investigate the role of community in promoting entrepreneurial careers for students, by adding achievement motivation, entrepreneurial attitudes, and entrepreneurial intentions as predictor variables. The population of this research was high school students in urban areas, and the sample was taken based on convenience sampling, with a total of 300 students participating. Data were analyzed using EFA, CFA, and structural model evaluation using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0. The research results show that all hypotheses are accepted, meaning that community support influences students' entrepreneurial career choices, as do other predictor variables. This study can provide guidance for developing educational strategies and policies that support the development of young entrepreneurs in the future, through predictor variables.

4-H academics responded to the COVID pandemic by rapidly adapting CDC and other resources for virtual delivery. A statewide epidemiology project was taught to 48 youth with the goal of minimizing fears and confusion, increasing prevention measures, leveraging current topics for education, and bolstering the social-emotional health of youth participants. Results indicated that youth enjoyed the project and adopted behaviors to reduce the spread of infectious diseases, such as increased mask-wearing.

The purpose of this study is to examine gender differences in entrepreneurial competencies and self-efficacy among middle school students in an entrepreneurship program. The study evaluates teamwork, innovation, marketing, feasibility, and impact skills. It also measures entrepreneurial self-efficacy pre-post program. Previous research shows that entrepreneurship is perceived as a male domain, yet girls exhibit strengths in skills like collaboration, creativity, and practical planning that predict entrepreneurial success. However, lower self-efficacy among girls undermines entrepreneurial interest despite proficiencies. Assessing multidimensional competencies beyond narrow metrics reveals overlooked potential in girls. Results of this study show that girls outperformed boys consistently across competencies, but boys had higher self-efficacy gains. This highlights the need to build broader skill sets and address biases that restrict girls from developing entrepreneurial self-concepts despite genuine capabilities. Fostering gender-inclusive learning and diverse role models can help girls translate competencies into greater self-efficacy. Providing equal skill-building opportunities and assessments capturing the full spectrum of entrepreneurial strengths is critical to tap the potential of both genders and achieve a gender-balanced entrepreneurial learning.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are global action plans that aim to address various problems globally in the social, economic, cultural, energy, and environmental fields. One of the global problems is the significant open unemployment rate due to the gap between graduates and available jobs. Therefore, we need an innovation in learning to train students to develop their competencies. Competency development can be done through chemoentrepreneurship-based chemistry learning (CEP). CEP-based learning is chemistry learning through projects in product manufacturing and marketing. This study aims to measure students' social and vocational skills through CEP learning. This research was conducted at Islamic Senior High School in Rembang, Indonesia. The research subjects were 47 students. The results of the N-gain test showed that the social skills of the experimental and control groups experienced an increase in the low/effective less category. The N-gain value of the experimental group's social skills was 50.06, while the control group was 41.32. The results of the N-gain test for vocational skills in the experimental group were better than those in the control group. The increase in the vocational skills of the experimental group was in the medium/quite effective category (58.32), while the control group experienced a very low/ineffective increase in the category (33.47). Sustained innovation and economic strength of the U.S depends on a greater participation of underrepresented minorities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). University-based outreach programs that serve African American and other minority populations should do more to infuse invention education in activities that engage pre-college students from these groups to motivate them to pursue STEM degrees. The Research, Discovery, and Innovation (RDI) Summer Institute is a design and science entrepreneurship program that is offered at North Carolina Central University to high school seniors who have been accepted for admission to a STEM degree program at the university. This study found the RDI Summer Institute program to be effective based on proximal outcomes of gains in composite entrepreneurial thinking skills (entrepreneurial, managerial, engineering design, and technical skills) as perceived by the participants and measured by pre- and post-surveys. Eighty-seven percent of the pre-college participants were African Americans, showed high levels of creativity and innovativeness, and presented product ideas that were conscientious in meeting their community needs. Program impact was assessed based on near-term and distal academic outcomes in college through a rigorously designed quasi-experiment which compared 31 case-control matched pairs of students who had been RDI participants and non-RDI participants. A conditional logistic regression showed first-year retention in STEM degree programs for students who had been RDI participants was five times that of students who had been non-RDI participants. Additionally, first-year STEM retention in differential comparisons favored female students, students from very low/low SES households, and students from single parent households. Also, students who had been RDI participants performed higher in STEM gatekeeper courses, and a strong positive impact of the RDI Summer Institute program was associated with higher STEM persistence even two and three years after pre-college students participated.

Contribution: This study synthesizes insights into the thematic focuses and linguistic attributes that resonate most in engineering faculty collaborations aimed at fostering entrepreneurial mindsets (EMs). It provides a roadmap for educators and institutions to effectively communicate and encourage entrepreneurial thinking in engineering. Background: Amid the heightened emphasis on entrepreneurial thinking in engineering education, understanding the factors that resonate with faculty is pivotal for informing curriculum development, aligning with global trends, and optimizing the preparedness of engineering graduates. Research Questions: 1) What elements of the EM are most frequently emphasized by faculty in their shared educational content? 2) What aspects of the EM resonate most with academic faculty? and 3) How do these relations differ in the electrical or computer engineering disciplines compared to other engineering fields? Methodology: A comprehensive analysis of educational resources shared by faculty on EM was conducted. The study used text analytics to assess engagement metrics, such as views, shares, favorites, and downloads. The data were analyzed using Stata. Findings: Faculty engagement strongly resonates with the three core components of the EM: Curiosity, Connections, and Creating Value, often emphasized in their shared educational content. Specifically, the "Creating Value" component emerged as the most significant across most engagement measures, with nuanced variations in the electrical and computer engineering disciplines.

This research investigated how entrepreneurial skills influence the mindset of an entrepreneurial engineer. The total number of engineering graduates participating in this research was 65 students who graduated between 2016 and 2022. The results indicated that the entrepreneurial skills of engineering graduates ranged from average to good. The results also indicated that there is a positive, statistically significant relationship between the entrepreneurial skills of engineering graduates and their entrepreneurial mindset. This research concluded that it is essential for engineering students to acquire entrepreneurial skills that support their engineering major and lead them to think broadly about their future career opportunities. Hence, entrepreneurial skills enhance their competitiveness in innovative and emerging engineering disciplines. This research supports the integration of entrepreneurship skills with practical applications in all engineering curricula and courses in universities. This research contributes to the literature as it is one of the few studies that addressed expanding the entrepreneurial horizons of engineering graduates and directing them towards entrepreneurial projects. It also addressed the need to review university engineering curricula to include entrepreneurial skills and capabilities.

This study explores the contribution of serious game teaching technology, such as FLIGBY, to the development of entrepreneurial learning outcomes in the context of an entrepreneurship course in higher education. The sample is composed of 551 students through the construction of a randomized pretest-posttest control group. A quantitative methodology is adopted through the development of a structured equation model that seeks to assess the effectiveness of FLIGBY in the development of three constructs related to the development of entrepreneurial skills, reduction in the perception of barriers associated with entrepreneurial activity and increase the entrepreneurial intention. The findings reveal that FLIGBY can effectively contribute to the development of the first two constructs. However, we found that it has no effect on the third construct because it was not possible to identify significant differences in the entrepreneurial intention of FLIGBY students with those of the control group. The results of this study are relevant in extending the understanding of the impact of adopting a serious game in the context of entrepreneurship education and also supports their role in the development of more immersive and student-centered training.

Internationalization in higher education is essential, and although active learning methodologies are increasing and allow students to develop transversal skills, most still have a very local scope. In this context, the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) methodology is an interesting approach to benefit the students' development. It consists of an online program that involves creating multicultural teams to develop a specific learning project. Although this methodology is expanding, its use in physiology is still scarce. This paper aims to show an example of applying COIL methodology in physiology topics to enhance higher-education students' innovation and business skills. Our example project developed a sports-assessment service concept focused on physiology and biomechanics assessments. The program involved teams from Brazil, Germany, and Spain, comprising undergraduate and master students. Over 7 weeks, these teams, mentored by professors and researchers, engaged in workshops covering COIL methodology, business model design, executive summary planning, economic analyses, and communication techniques. Key outcomes included learning new concepts, developing soft skills, building confidence in innovative solution proposals, and experiencing diverse cultures. Challenges faced were language barriers, scheduling, task complexity, and logistical issues. This experience confirms the effectiveness of incorporating programs using COIL methodology into educational curriculums. Doing so exposes physiology students to innovation, entrepreneurship, and business creation while strengthening their professional connections and opening up postgraduation opportunities.

This study examines the factors that influence the intention and actual use of e-learning in entrepreneurship education by undergraduate students. The paper relies on a predictive study design and the partial least squares structural equation modelling to analyse data from a cluster sample of 599 students from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. The results demonstrate that all the independent variables, assessed within a framework of an extended unified theory of acceptance and use of technology, determine students' intention to use e-learning in entrepreneurship education. Of particular importance are the preponderant effects of hedonic motivation, facilitating conditions and social influence on students' intention as well as the effect of intention and facilitating conditions on actual use of e-learning. A key implication of the findings is that students' continuous acceptance and use of e-learning in undergraduate entrepreneurship course delivery is contingent upon adequate presence of all the examined predictors of technology usage.

In Australia, concerningly high levels of teacher attrition, and subsequent teacher shortages, have led to calls for improvement in the social status of teachers. In response, this study explored what draws pre-service teachers to the teaching profession in the face of research and media reports that suggest teaching is perceived as a low-status career. Using mixed methods, we surveyed 387 Australian pre-service teachers and found that their primary motivations for entering the teaching profession corresponded with the motivations attributed to social entrepreneurs who use innovation to make positive social change for their constituents. As far as the authors know, this is the first time that a close alignment between pre-service teachers' motivations for entering the teaching profession and social entrepreneurs' behaviours and intentions has been demonstrated. Thus, this study makes a unique contribution in the field of initial teacher education. We suggest that explicitly recognising teachers as social entrepreneurs with the inherent capacity to generate social innovation has the potential to raise the status of the profession. Such recognition could also positively inform pre-service teacher recruitment and teacher retention.

Public universities have sought to leverage innovation hubs as physical environments to enable new collaboration models and partnerships between students, academics, budding entrepreneurs, and wider industry. In particular, innovation hubs have allowed public universities to position themselves as active participants in the entrepreneurial arena. These innovation hubs, however, experienced a tremendous degree of disruption because of COVID-19-induced lockdowns, social distancing, closed borders, and a reduced number of persons allowed in a given space. Thus, it is essential to gain an understanding of how innovation hubs in public institutions have responded to these issues, ascertain the degree to which such disruption has impacted them, and identify the strategies that have allowed hubs to stay operational in such a disruptive environment. To do this, personnel involved in the management and administration of such hubs were interviewed, together with a selection of industry experts. This qualitative interrogation allowed a thematic analysis to be undertaken, thereby resulting in several emergent themes that contributed to identifying key learnings that could assist the operation of these innovation hubs in times of future disruption.

This study aims to examine the impact of students' entrepreneurial self-efficacy on their opportunity recognition capability after their exposure to classroom-based entrepreneurship education, leading to the development of intention to undertake an entrepreneurial activity. A detailed questionnaire was used to collect data from 351 students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Results confirm that the student's entrepreneurial self-efficacy positively influences their intention to undertake an entrepreneurial activity directly and indirectly via their opportunity recognition capability. Also, entrepreneurship education significantly moderates the link between students' entrepreneurial self-efficacy and opportunity recognition capability. These results have practical implications for universities and policymakers, as universities that are not providing entrepreneurship education can adopt the same module of classroom education. Also, policymakers can frame policies directing institutions to start similar kinds of entrepreneurship education programs, even at the intermediate level, particularly in lower-middle-income countries.

Entrepreneurs play a crucial role in fostering innovation and fuelling economic growth. China has recently sought to increase entrepreneurial intention in university students by providing entrepreneurship education based on the model deployed by universities in Western cultures. Additionally, a longstanding challenge for universities has been the wellbeing of their students. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated this issue, leading to enhancing the wellbeing of university students being declared a global priority. Consequently, by drawing on a framework of conservation of resources theory, the purpose of this paper is to conceptually develop and empirically validate a model for enhancing entrepreneurial intention and wellbeing in university students. The data were collected in December 2022 and January 2023. A total of 952 undergraduate students completed the questionnaire, with 476 responses from China and 476 from the UK. Findings indicate (i) positive associations between self-perceived academic performance and individual entrepreneurial intention, whereby self-perceived employability mediates the relationship, (ii) positive associations between serious leisure and wellbeing, whereby self-perceived employability mediates the relationship, and (iii) the country moderates the association between (a) serious leisure and wellbeing, and (b) serious leisure and self-perceived employability, whereby the association is stronger for China than for the UK. The theoretical contribution comes from constructing and empirically validating a model, evidencing alignment and divergence by country concerning acquiring specific personal resources via self-perceived academic performance, serious leisure, and self-perceived employability. Practical and policy implications arise from suggesting how higher education institutions can support their students to enhance individual entrepreneurial intention and wellbeing.

Much of the university spin-offs (USOs) literature either focuses on the influence of parent universities or the external environments on enterprise performance in economies with one aspect almost always neglected, that is, the role of USOs' corporate governance. In this study, we examine the effects of USOs' corporate governance structure which includes equity structure, board size and organizational form, on enterprise performance in a Chinese context, as well as the moderating effect of human capital on the relationship between board size and enterprise performance. This study takes 150 enterprises in 42 universities in Hubei Province as samples in 2017 using the weighted least square (WLS) method. The research finds evidence of positive relationships between equity structure and enterprise performance, as well as between board size and enterprise performance. However, a positive effect is not found between organizational form and enterprise performance, which shows a prominent negative effect. Moreover, human capital which is partially positive, influences the relationship between board size and enterprise performance. Therefore, these findings add some potentially noteworthy dimensions to the USOs literature that are especially important to USOs' policy makers and other stakeholders.

The paper explores the efforts of Kerala to align its undergraduate education with global standards and competence through the introduction of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) in the realm of curriculum reforms. The paper highlights the significance of curriculum reforms in the context of transforming the State of Kerala into a people-centric knowledge society. It examines the structure and content of FYUGP introduced in the state universities with effect from the 2024-25 academic year. It includes details of teaching-learning methodology, critical thinking, creativity, vocational and entrepreneurship skills that are integral to the structure of the new curriculum. The article proposes a curriculum that encourages students to learn with curiosity and enjoyment through self-involvement. How to enable students to doubt and question with an unending thirst for knowledge is what the curriculum should entail. It should help students attain higher-order cognitive benefits.

Digital technologies can lead to the provision of innovative opportunities for academic entrepreneurship. However, investigations on the rationale for the adoption of digital technologies for academic entrepreneurship, particularly in emerging economies, remain limited. As a result, the determinants of digital technology adoption for academic entrepreneurship are not fully understood. Drawing on technology adoption and entrepreneurship literature, we propose a research model to investigate the adoption of social media -- a type of digital technology - for entrepreneurial activities among students in academic settings. Based on survey data collected from 312 participants, and a partial least square structural equation modeling technique for analysis, this study shows that computer self-efficacy and perceived enjoyment significantly influence perceived ease of use. In addition, perceived job relevance and perceived ease of use significantly influence perceived usefulness. Furthermore, perceived ease of use and students' perceived entrepreneurial feasibility significantly affect behavioral intention. Moreover, the study shows that behavioral intention significantly affects actual usage. Through these findings, our study advances knowledge on the antecedents of social media adoption for entrepreneurship in academic settings in emerging economies.

Enterprise challenges are teaching activities that allow students to develop and pitch a creative idea in response to a real-life challenge, usually posed by a charitable organisation. Students work in teams to develop their ideas and draw on their subject knowledge, as well as entrepreneurial processes, to articulate their product or service that addresses the challenge. These activities have the potential to enhance psychological literacy as they provide an opportunity to utilise psychological knowledge and skills in novel and unfamiliar ways and urges students to find creative solutions to societal problems. This article presents the rationale and structure to design an enterprise challenge in psychology teaching and uses two case studies to show diverse ways of delivering these teaching events. Evaluation data from six previous challenges show that students self-rate their perceived psychological literacy and entrepreneurial orientation higher after having participated in an enterprise challenge. These teaching activities present a propitious way of enhancing psychological literacy in the curriculum and supporting students on their journey to develop as global citizens.

To its traditional missions of education and research, the entrepreneurial university adds a 'third mission': knowledge transfer (KT), which aims to contribute to the economic and social development of the university's environment. To this end, it is the role of government to implement regulations and design policies that push universities to be more entrepreneurial. In addition, an entrepreneurial university should interact with industry and society as a whole and implement a clear strategy--endorsed at the highest level--to incorporate the function of KT. However, there has been a lack of critical reflection in the literature about the ways in which universities implement the strategy, and administrators and coordinators, who play a pivotal role in implementing it, are usually underrepresented in university research. The exploratory research presented here addresses this gap by focussing on the current vice-rectors and KTO directors in charge of implementing KT strategy at Spanish universities. Our findings suggest that the respondents think KT is an objective shared by the government; however, they do not perceive it to be an objective for top and middle managers in universities.

This research sought to explore how creative writing university students' knowledge aligned with published authors and marketing professionals within the publishing industry. Participants from all three groups were recruited for semi-structured interviews, and the transcripts were analysed using thematic analysis. Overall, both published authors and creative writing students' knowledge was misaligned with industry perspectives, practices, and expectations, despite both authors and students generally believing marketing was important. Both the authors and students overall possessed a limited understanding of marketing and so their marketing knowledge did not appear to greatly increase after graduating. Given that authors found it difficult to build their marketing knowledge and skills due to time constraints, it would appear useful to embed marketing and entrepreneurial knowledge in creative writing university curricula to ensure students graduated with knowledge that would enhance their entrepreneurial and marketing skills and their income opportunities.
