This study aims to identify the essential entrepreneurial skills required for students to tackle challenges and capitalize on opportunities in the present circumstances. Additionally, it provides information on how educators can utilize technology to create conducive learning environments that enhance students’ entrepreneurial skills. This study employed a systematic literature review method adapted from PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Qualitative data collection techniques were employed, followed by thematic analysis for data interpretation. Studies were retrieved from the Scopus database that published between 2018 and 2023. The findings revealed three key aspects to enhance students’ skills: personal, interpersonal, and digital aspects. The personal aspect encompassed creativity and innovation, initiative, self-efficacy, and resilience, as well as risk-taking. The interpersonal aspect included leadership, effective communication, collaboration, networking, and a positive attitude. The digital aspect comprised digital awareness, digital literacy, digital content, digital communication, digital creativity, and digital critical thinking. The study also found that experiential learning and project-based learning have been widely used in entrepreneurship education. This indicated that the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education for students can be achieved through learning experiences, problem-solving, and practical applications in an entrepreneurial environment. By employing various creative, innovative, and technology-based teaching techniques, educators can capture students’ engagement and provide added value to their learning experience.

In the recent times federal and state governments in Nigeria have provided policies and resources to provide entrepreneurship training for students in all tertiary institutions but these have not yielded desired result as a result of lack of required training for lecturers that trained theses students as they could not effectively practice what they were thought. Thus, with a view to change youth orientation from job seekers to job makers. This paper objectives are to examine the need for entrepreneurial skills in lecturer and find out how the training and trainers programme facilitate improvement in the training programme and bridge the gap between entrepreneurial skills/ training and graduate entrepreneurial intention. A survey of 200 Level and 300 Level students of Lagos State University offering entrepreneurship courses were selected in 2020/2021 academic session with total population of 15,095 which copies of questionnaire was self-administered to 368 students as the sample size across 7 faculties of the University at the main campus Ojo. Findings from the correlation analysis revealed that most of the students are not entrepreneurship inclined and could not implement or practice what they learn or thought in the university, that is the reason why they are busy looking for white collar job as well as government work that are not available. This has increased the level of unemployment, aggravated abject poverty and hindered sustainable human development in the country. Therefore, it was recommended that entrepreneurship education should be made compulsory at formal and informal educational institutions.

The present study investigated freehand cutting technique in dressmaking as an entrepreneurial skill among secondary school students for sustainable development in Port Harcourt Metropolis. The researcher employed a descriptive survey research design. The study was conducted in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The population for the study included all students in eight government secondary schools in Rivers State. A sample of 25 students was randomly selected from each of the schools, resulting in a total of 200 respondents. The researcher created a self-made questionnaire. The results emphasized the importance of teaching freehand cutting technique in dressmaking in secondary schools, as well as the need to provide Nigerian youths with training in various skills, such as creativity and innovation, entrepreneurship skills, managerial experience, and record keeping.

The Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Program (ESDP) was launched by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) to build the capacities and skills of Indian entrepreneurs, both current and future ones. One of the many initiatives offered by the Ministry of MSME, it aims to increase the capacity of young people to take on challenges and create successful businesses across the nation. There are various activities under the plan that are coordinated in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), Polytechnics, and other specialized institutions/business colleges where there is talent available to influence teenagers toward self-employment. One of the essential elements for the development of any area is having an adequate supply of skilled human resources. Today, the problem is fundamentally linked to the employability problem rather than the lack of employment opportunities. This is a major problem in many developing countries where young children are taught, but they need skills that will help them become prepared for the workforce. Hence, the current study has been done with a view to give an analytical outline of the importance of ESDP for the sustainable growth of MSMEs in India.

The major prospects for MSE will result from their participation in the global marketplace as the financial system keeps moving towards greater integration. It is widely acknowledged that SMEs are increasingly significant in producing jobs, money, and innovation. Nevertheless, there are significant issues with the caliber of management, strategic leadership, entrepreneurial skill, and motivation in this industry, shortcomings in innovation, a lack of business savvy, marketing, entrepreneurial flair, and issues with practical knowledge and HR administration. This study will analyze the impact of entrepreneurial talent and motivation on business success, with strategic leadership as a mediating factor: The situation of a few SME sectors in Ethiopia. The study employed a Quantitative research design method using surveys and questionnaires to collect data. The selections of respondents for this study will be random sampling and purposive sampling for SME owners and leaders of both zonal and town job opportunity creation and skill offices and are purposely selected to respond to the questionnaires. Since the Zone is so prominent, the researcher will select 5 towns Nagele, Adola, Shakiso, Bore, and Haro Wachu. A total of 382 respondents was selected as the sample size. The sample size will be set using Yamane (1967) due to its ease of use, taking into account the estimated total population of 2,322 owners, employment opportunity creators, and competence office executives in 5 towns. The traditional linear regression model was used for the data analysis. In this instance, data analysis included using chi square, correlation, and ordinal logistic regression to examine the impact of entrepreneurial talent and motivation on business success, with strategic leadership as a mediating factor. The findings showed that every element had a favorable and noteworthy effect on company performance.

In the 5.0 society era, people are required to be able to balance economic progress in solving social problems. A community can be involved through the integration of computing and physical world space to empower the community's economy and solve social problems, especially in the field of education. Rationally, education can affect the development of the economic sector. Entrepreneurship learning from an early age is needed to improve the progress of a country. The presence of entrepreneurial groups can create job opportunities, increase welfare and per capita income, and reduce unemployment. This study aims to find ways to increase the entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurial skills through entrepreneurship learning. The method used in this research is action research with a Project-based Learning (PJBL) approach which is applied to class XI students of SMK Nurul Islam in Bicabi Village, Dungkek District, Sumenep Regency, East Java Province with 15 people as informants. The findings in this study indicate that the PJBL produces product development outputs from each team formed and following the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). Therefore, the PJBL plays an important role in increasing the entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurial skills of the students in honing their knowledge and skills process to become entrepreneurs.

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and skills on entrepreneurial intentions in students in Yogyakarta. The research method used is quantitative. The sampling technique used in this research is simple random sampling. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 156 students in Yogyakarta. The data was processed using a structural model equation approach with the technique Partial Least Square. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurship education has a significant effect on entrepreneurial self-efficacy, entrepreneurial skills, and entrepreneurial intentions; entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial skills have a significant influence on entrepreneurial intentions.

Generic competences have an interdisciplinary nature, which indicates their usability in different disciplines, situations, and contexts in the performance of different tasks. Generic competencies are thus considered from two perspectives, daily life and professional activity, that are equally important, implying that generic competences are necessary for individuals to successfully adapt to change and live meaningful and productive lives. Entrepreneurship competences can be observed from two perspectives: generic competencies viewed from the perspective of the individual's personal experience and professional competencies viewed from the perspective of the individual's professional experience. In this article, it will be observed from both perspectives to see its performance in diverse contexts and to clarify distinctions between these contexts. The present study aimed to shed light on how specific university study disciplines with a professional focus (educational sciences and bioeconomics) support the development of a specific generic competence (entrepreneurship competencies). The Specific Research Questions of This Article Are: (1) What Entrepreneurship Competences Emerge Among Latvian Bioeconomics and Educational Science Students? (2) How Do Entrepreneurship Competences Differ Between Bioeconomics and Educational Science Students? (3) How Are Entrepreneurship Competences Correlated With Each Other? Data for the study were gathered by using the online survey platform QuestionPro. The questionnaire was filled in by 135 students, of whom 82 were from the field of educational sciences and 53 from the field of bioeconomics. The study presents a comparison of entrepreneurship competence's self-assessments of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students of bioeconomics and educational sciences. Despite the fact that entrepreneurship is more linked to economics, the results show that, in two out of three main areas of entrepreneurship competences, students of educational sciences self-assessed their entrepreneurship competences as higher than students of bioeconomics.

The stochastic explanations of skewed distribution of firm size question the value added of management theories that trace differences in market share and profits of firms to strategy and organization choices, which are in turn linked to better entrepreneurial skills. This paper explains the distribution of firm size as the market equilibrium outcome of individual occupational choices of working as entrepreneurs or employees. The distribution of size and profit of firms in the equilibrium is directly related to the distribution of skills within the group of individuals who, in the same equilibrium, choose to work as entrepreneurs, restoring the importance of management choice in the performance of firms. The paper highlights the importance of having a theoretical model as guidance in the interpretation of regularities observed in the distribution of firm size, and the ability to distinguish between "resembling" and "true" power laws of such distributions. Without being aware of it, metaphorical concepts reveal their expressions word for word in our social life. It is the expression of thoughts using concrete and abstract concepts. The aim of this study is to reveal the mental perceptions of teacher candidates about entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship skills by using metaphors. The participants of the study are teacher candidates studying in ten different branches at the Faculty of Education in Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University in the 2019-2020 academic year. In the research, as a data collection tool, a form that includes the expression "Entrepreneurship education / entrepreneurship skill...... because......" was used to identify metaphors for entrepreneurship education. The data obtained from the data collection tool were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. Content analysis and metaphor analysis were used in the analysis of the data. According to the findings obtained from the study, pre-service teachers produced a total of 100 metaphors for entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship skills. These metaphors are evaluated in three categories: 1-Theoretical framework of entrepreneurship education, 2-Values of entrepreneurship education, 3-Sub-skills of entrepreneurship education. These conceptual categories were examined according to the pre-service teachers' branches and the data obtained were evaluated under three main categories and under thirty-five titles. According to the results of the research, the perceptions of pre-service teachers about entrepreneurship education and gaining entrepreneurship skills are generally positive. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The effectiveness of education has been the concern of many individuals who acquire formal college education by shelling out enormous amount of their time, money, and effort. 'Competition' may be considered as an innovative pedagogy aimed at enabling student learning in an engaging platform. Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to undertake a qualitative case-based analysis of the factors affecting the capability of primary sector rural entrepreneurs to manage regulation. The authors suggest a conceptual framework to aid understanding of their skill and capability when managing regulation. Design/methodology/approach - Using a multiple case study approach the entrepreneurial skill of rural entrepreneurs is examined in light of three sets of factors: institutional regulatory, social capital and economic market. Findings - The case analysis indicates diversity in the skill of rural entrepreneurs to manage regulation across sub-sectors including dairy and stock farming, fruit growers and vegetable/ horticultural producers. The conceptual framework indicates that there are three areas that influence entrepreneurial skill: relationships with national cooperatives, relationships with the institutional regulatory environment and relationships with the economic market environment. This provides the authors with a conceptual framework to aid understanding of the interplay of factors affecting entrepreneurial skill and capability to manage regulation. Originality/value - This study contributes to the emerging stream of literature highlighting the importance of industry sector context for understanding the complex and differing regulatory effects on entrepreneurs' skill and hence capability to manage.
