Particularly when referring to social and cultural distinctions rather than biological ones, gender is of the two sexes. Gender problems are more concerned with social experiences than biological differences between men and women. The misconception that gender issues are only a problem for women is untrue; rather, gender issues are primarily concerned with how men and women interact with the social, cultural, political, and economic systems of society. The work's analysis followed gender theory as a guide. A qualitative investigation was conducted, as well. The investigations find that there is a gender imbalance in the workforce, social, cultural, and educational; those women are trafficked in other fields, which has led the author to call for the empowerment of women via education. The work is limited to one novel, the trafficked. In conclusion, societal inequalities against women exist in our society; education and other initiatives might help women become more independent in order to transform society into one that is just.

This led the author to say that women should be given more power through education. The work is only one book, called "The Virtuous Woman." In conclusion, women are treated unfairly in our society. Education and other programs could help women become more independent so that society can become more fair.

Given that entrepreneurship scholars use various approaches to measure entrepreneurial success, which leads to inconsistent findings, in this study we investigate the impact that South Africa’s total early-stage entrepreneurial activity (TESEA) rate has on the entrepreneurial attitudes and behavior of South Africans and their reactions to different macroeconomic factors. Secondary datasets were elicited from the World Bank’s world development indicators and the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) database from 2003–2014. Using a generalized linear model (GLM) poisson regression, we affirmed the statistical significance of these relationships, as well as enhanced the validity and reliability of the quantitative estimation procedure. We found that the TESEA rate is positively associated with a higher ease of doing business and entrepreneurial intention level. Furthermore, we found that when entrepreneurship is viewed as a good career choice, and given media visibility, the TESEA rate increases, and vice versa. It was also observed that the GDP per capita (which relies on efficiency, innovation and optimal utilization of market knowledge), as well as the level of economic freedom in South Africa, positively impacts the nation’s TESEA rate. Likewise, we found that the unemployment rate is positively associated with the TESEA rate of South Africa. South Africa’s TESEA rate is influenced by a combination of factors due to the dynamic nature of individual traits. However, the TESEA rate has a remarkable impact on South Africa’s entrepreneurial decision making. This implies that a targeted approach is more relevant when implementing both private and government policy initiatives.

Abstract: Quinoline-5,8-dione and naphthoquinone nuclei are very important substructures in industrial chemicals and pharmaceuticals. These compounds exhibit a wide variety of activities, including antifungal, antibacterial, antimalarial, antineoplastic, anticoagulant, anticancer, antiviral, radical scavenging, antiplatelet, trypanocidal, cytotoxic, and antineoplastic activities. Currently, several research articles on the importance of many natural and synthetic drugs containing quinolinequinone have been reported. This review covers the progress in quinolinequinone and naphthoquinone chemistry over the last five decades.

Spinal cord compression etiology depends on geographic region. In sub-Saharan Africa, the etiologies are mostly infectious, and management is characterized by diagnostic delay and limited treatment modalities. In Togo, treatment was nonoperative until 2008. However, management has improved with the development of imaging and availability of specialists. We sought to report etiology and outcome of spinal cord compression since establishment of a neurosurgery unit in Togo.A retrospective descriptive study was performed of patients admitted for spinal cord compression in the neurosurgery unit of a referral hospital in Togo between 2008 and 2018. Follow-up was conducted at 3, 6, and 12 months after discharge.Spinal cord compression represented 4.2% of hospitalizations. Median patient age was 41 years; 5 patients were children. Men accounted for 64.6% of patients. Patients presented late to the hospital; 40.7% reported symptoms lasting1 year. Claudication was the presenting symptom in 75.2%. At presentation, 20.3% of patients had complete neurological lesions. The main etiology of compression was degenerative disease. Surgery was performed in 81.4% of patients; only 16.3% were operated on within 72 hours of admission. Chemotherapy was administered in 5 cases. At 1 year after surgery, 33.7% of patients had total neurological recovery, and 50% had partial recovery. Factors influencing neurological recovery were age, initial neurological status, and type of treatment.This study found increased degenerative causes of spinal cord compression in Africa. The pathology is characterized in our context by late consultation and operative delay affecting recovery, morbidity, and mortality.
