We propose a new filter for images, obtained from optical coherence tomography, based on a stochastic assessment of the chaotic scattering of light by the skin tissue. The algorithms are applicable to smooth images as well as to discontinuous images with sharp changes of intensity. The effectiveness of the algorithms is demonstrated on test examples. The results for images of the human skin micro-structure are presented.
