The paper describes two clinical cases of treatment of patients with noma. This disease is extremely rare in the Russian Federation, and therefore its diagnosis causes difficulties, and incorrect routing of patients, due to diagnostic mistakes, leads to an increase in the time before the start of specialized care. Rapid progression of wet gangrene, in the absence of timely diagnosis and qualified treatment, leads to extensive defects of the maxillofacial region, severe intoxication, sepsis. In the first case, after surgical treatment of noma, the patient developed an extensive tissue defect of the left half of the face, which in the future will require reconstructive surgical treatment. In the second case, after surgical treatment, the patient had an extensive tissue defect in the middle zone of the face, and systemic disorders against the background of intoxication led to the death of the patient on the 7th day after hospitalization. Both clinical cases confirm the role of immunosuppression in the etiology of noma.

The epidemiological situation of the syphilis incidence in the modern world is characterized as a hidden epidemic, which manifests itself in latent and late forms of the disease. Despite the general trend towards a decrease in the incidence of syphilis, there are some specific features in many regions of Russia. Deaths from visceral syphilis are now rare. The article presents data on the epidemiology, nosological forms of visceral syphilis, and describes two lethal outcomes. In observations, late syphilis was characterized by damage to several organs (liver, lungs, heart, brain), but the leading clinical manifestations were neurosyphilis (syphilitic meningoencephalitis) and cardiovascular syphilis (syphilitic mesaortitis, interstitial myocarditis). Damage of the respiratory and digestive organs (stomach, liver) are rare forms of visceral syphilis. In the presented observations, gummas in the lungs and liver, which were not clinically diagnosed, were detected. In all cases, the diagnosis of visceral syphilis was established at autopsy on the basis of a characteristic morphological picture (detection of gummas) and positive results of the Wassermann reaction.

Mobile phone–based engagement approaches provide potential platforms for improving access to primary healthcare (PHC) services for underserved populations. We held two focus groups (February 2020) with residents ( n = 25) from a low-income urban neighbourhood (downtown Vancouver, Canada), to assess recent healthcare experiences and elicit interest in mobile phone–based healthcare engagement for underserved residents. Note-based analysis, guided by interpretative description, was used to explore emerging themes. Engagement in PHC was complicated by multiple, intersecting personal-level and socio-structural factors, and experiences of stigma and discrimination from care providers. Perceived inadequacy of PHC services and pervasive discrimination reported by participants indicate a significant and ongoing need to improve client–provider relationships to address unmet health needs. Mobile phone–based engagement was endorsed, highlighting phone ownership and client–provider text-messaging, facilitated by non-clinical staff such as peers, as helpful to strengthening retention and facilitating care team connection. Concerns raised included reliability, cost, and technology and language accessibility.

In the article, based on the analysis of studies devoted to the implementation of distance learning in vocational education against the background of the fight against the pandemic and the self-isolation regime, the authors of the study highlight the main problems of the implementation of distance learning, which both the organizers of this type of education and teachers and students faced. The authors, based on the practice of implementing distance learning, indicate its advantages and disadvantages. The importance of the problem of the formation of ICT competence of teachers for the high-quality organization of distance learning, including in terms of the formation of digital educational content, is substantiated. The article presents an overview of various digital tools and web services tested by the authors that can be used to create digital content in the organization of distance learning, many of which are freely distributed and in demand among educational organizations, including professional education. The experience of the implementation of distance learning at GAPOU “Chita Pedagogical College” is described, where proven digital tools were used in the new conditions. The results of the implementation of distance learning at the Trans-Baikal State University and the Chita Pedagogical College are analyzed; both the positive aspects of this process and the problems that require further reflection and decision-making are identified.

The article substantiates the significance of the problem of the formation of future teachers’ ICT competence. The author’s definition of the concept “ICT competence of a student of a pedagogical college” is presented, its components (motivational-value, user-wide, general pedagogical, subject-pedagogical) are highlighted and described. Based on the analysis of normative documents, recommendations, studies in the field of digitalization of the economy and education, the conditions for the digitalization of education are highlighted and justified: the legislative framework for the digitalization of education; digital generation of students; digital pedagogical technologies and educationally significant digital technologies; training the human potential of the digital economy; digital educational environment of educational organization. The characteristics of the conditions for digitalization of education are described. The experience of taking into account the conditions of digitalization of education in the aspect of the problem of the formation of ICT competence of students as future teachers is described on the example of an educational organization — GAPOU “Chita Pedagogical College”, specialty 44.02.01 Preschool education. An example of the organization of a laboratory and practical lesson using various digital technologies in the framework of the author’s interdisciplinary course “Theory and Methods of Using ICT in a Preschool Educational Organization” is given. Based on the analysis of the results of the pedagogical experiment, the conclusion is substantiated that the application of the digitalization of education in the educational process of the pedagogical college in the aspect of the formation of ICT competence of future teachers is one of the effective ways of forming the ICT competence of future educators of preschool children.

Corynebacterium spp. It is associated with inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (tracheitis, pharyngitis, rhinosinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, etc.). C. pseudodiphtheriticum can be the causative agent of bacterial coinfection in patients with a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The aim is to determine the pathogenic properties and resistance to antimicrobial drugs of Corynebacterium spp. strains to establish their etiological significance in the development of inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract. Strains of Corynebacterium spp. isolated from patients with inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (43 pcs.) and practically healthy individuals (29 pcs.). Isolates were identified by mass spectrometric method (MALDI-TOF MS), their cytopathic effect in CHO-K1 cell culture, hemolytic, urease activity, antimicrobial drug resistance were determined. Strains of Corynebacterium spp. isolated from patients in the amount of 105 CFU/ml or more, practically healthy - 104 CFU/ml or less. Isolates of Corynebacterium spp. patients had a more pronounced cytopathic effect (83.7±11.1%) and were more often resistant to antimicrobial drugs than those isolated from practically healthy. To establish the etiological significance of Corynebacterium spp. isolates. in the development of inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, it is advisable to determine their amount in biological material (105 CFU/ml or more), the cytopathic effect on CHO-K1 cell culture, as well as the presence of multiple resistance to antimicrobial drugs. Differences in the characteristics of Corynebacterium spp. isolates. from patients with respiratory tract pathology and practically healthy individuals are associated with the strain, not the species, of corynebacteria.

Background The ubiquity of cellular phone (cellphone) use in young people’s daily lives has emerged as a priority area of concern for youth mental health. Objective This study measured the prevalence of depression and its association with high cellphone use among youth in Soweto and Durban, South Africa. Methods We analysed cross-sectional, baseline survey data among youth aged 16–24 who participated in a dual-site cohort study, ‘AYAZAZI’, conducted from 2014 to 2017. The primary outcome was depression using the 10-item Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale, with a score of ≥ 10 indicating probable depression. Cellphone use was measured via self-reported average number of hours of active use, with ‘high cellphone use’ defined as daily usage of ≥ 8. Multivariable logistic regression models assessed the independent relationship between high cellphone use and probable depression, adjusting for potential confounders. Results Of 425 participants with a median age of 19 years (IQR = 18–21), 59.5% were young women. Overall, 43.3% had probable depression, with a higher prevalence among women (49.0% vs. 34.9%, P = .004). Nearly all (94.6%) owned a cellphone. Objective: to improve the effectiveness of early postoperative rehabilitation of patients after arthroscopic surgery on the shoulder joint by the combined use of exercises with dynamic controlled muscle tension (DCMT) and thin-layer peloidotherapy. Materials and methods: 98 patients operated on for rotator cuff syndrome, were divided into 3 groups, comparable in age, sex and the main clinical manifestations. All patients received basic therapy, including orthopedic mode in the form of immobilization of the upper limb and curative gymnastics according to the standard method. Patients of the I and II group in addition to basic treatment were given an exercise course with dynamic controlled muscle tension during the immobilization and postimmobilization period. Patients of the II main group in the postimmobilization period received pelotherapy. Results: according to the results of goniometry in patients of I and II groups had the greater volume of movement in the shoulder joint after immobilization was stopped in comparison with patients of group III (control). Analysis of pain indicators while the shoulder joint moving on the scale of pain a month after immobilization revealed a significant advantage of the results of the II main group. Conclusions: it was shown that the inclusion of exercises with dynamic controlled muscle tension in the therapeutic complex had a more significant effect on the main clinical symptoms of the disease, the regeneration processes, and also contributed to an earlier restoration of impaired functions of the shoulder joint.

Morphological substantiation of the clinical efficacy of platelets rich plasma was carried out in the treatment of 22 men with androgenetic alopecia from the 1st to the 4th stage according to the Norwood-Hamilton scale were included. All patients received intradermal injections of platelets rich plasma 0,15 ml per injection. The course of treatment consisted of 4 procedures with an interval of 4 weeks. Clinical efficacy was assessed by the dynamics of morphometric indices of hair growth. Histological examination was carried out on horizontal sections, stained with hematoxylin and eosin, the morphology of the hair was counted at four levels. Evaluation of morphometric growth parameters conducted before treatment and 4 months after the onset of it. It was established that the therapy of platelet-rich plasma has a pronounced clinical efficacy, consisting in a significant (p=0,00025) increase in hair density by 11% and average hair diameter by 10% (p=0,00766), a 14% decrease in the share of hair follicles (p=0,00959). Histologically, the increase in hair density was significant at the level of the bulb of the hair follicles by 148% (p=0,0034) and at the level of the sweat glands by 65% (p=0,0326), and also by the tendency to increase their number at the level of the sebaceous glands. This was combined with a significant decrease in the proportion of telogen hair at 47% (p=0,0153). Thus, the positive clinical effect of plasma-rich plasma therapy in men suffering from androgenetic alopecia is based on reliable morphofunctional changes in the hair follicles.

Features of platelet-rich plasma in the complex therapy in patients with androgenic alopecia are analyzed. A comparative evaluation of the clinical efficacy of the three treatment methods was carried out: topical applications of a5% solution of minoxidil, intradermal injection of platelet-rich plasma, and combination of these techniques. A solution of minoxidil was applied to the dry skin of the scalp 1 ml twice a day without washing throughout the observation period. The course of treatment consisted of 4 procedures with an interval of 4 weeks. Clinical efficacy was assessed by the dynamics of morphometric indices of hair growth. It was established that after complex therapy in the form of minoxidil applications and injections of plasma rich plasma, the hair density increased by 32% (p=0,00004), the diameter of the hair shafts by 26% (p=0,00004). At the same time, the share of vellus hair decreased by 30% (p=0,00082), and the proportion of telogen hair decreased by 39% (p=0,00008). The results of using complex therapy significantly exceeded the clinical effect of platelet-rich plasma and topical applications of a 5% solution of minoxidil. The data obtained allows to suggest that plasma enriched with platelets and minoxidil potentiate each other’s effects, and their complex application seems promising for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia.

Introduction Universal provision of effective antiretroviral medication has been essential to reduce mortality, increase longevity, and reduce onward transmission of HIV. This study aims to illuminate persistent threats to the health and longevity of under-served PLWH in British Columbia (BC), Canada. Methods Between 2007 and 2010, 1000 PLWH across BC were enrolled in the Longitudinal Investigation into Supportive and Ancillary health services (LISA) study and completed a cross-sectional survey on their HIV-care experiences and healthcare engagement. The sample generally reflects an under-served population of PLWH. A linkage to the provincial Vital Statistics registry is used in this analysis in order to examine overall mortality and cause-specific mortality trends; probability of death was modeled using logistic regression for participants with ongoing clinical monitoring (n = 910). Results By June 2017, 208 (20.8%) participants had died. The majority of deaths 57 (27.4%) were attributed to drug-related complications or overdoses, 39 (18.8%) were attributed to HIV-related complications, and 36 (17.3%) to non-AIDS-defining malignancies. We observed elevated odds of death among PLWH who smoked tobacco (aOR: 2.11, 95% CI: 1.38, 3.23), were older (aOR: 1.06 per one-year increase, 95% CI: 1.04, 1.08), indicated heavy alcohol consumption (aOR: 1.57, 95% CI: 1.11, 2.22), and reported unstable housing (aOR: 1.96, 95% CI: 1.37, 2.80); while higher CD4 cell count was protective (aOR: 0.87 per 100-unit increase, 95% CI: 0.79, 0.94) as was male gender), though non-significant (aOR: 0.73, 95% CI: 0.49, 1.07). Conclusions Overdose is - the leading cause of mortality among a cohort of under-served PLWH in BC, Canada. Public health efforts to end the HIV epidemic and support the health and well-being of PLWH are being thwarted by persistent health inequities and the enormous and persistent risks facing people who use drugs. Integrated low-barrier primary care is essential for supporting under-served PLWH, and safe drug supply is needed to support PLWH who use drugs.

The monograph was prepared within a project of the Vernadsky-Kuzbass Scientific and Educational Consortium. It presents a comprehensive study of the 2010–2018 education system of Kuzbass carried out by the Center for Education Development Strategy at M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. The study compared the education systems in Kuzbass and other regions of Russia, drawing on related statistical data and reference materials. It also involved sociological surveys to identify the attitude of educators at three levels – general secondary, secondary vocational and tertiary – to the development of the regional education system. The authors’ conclusions and recommendations became a basis for the Strategy of Education Development in Kuzbass. The book is addressed to professionals working in education, management and sociology of education, as well as those with a general interest in the problems and trends of modern education.

Personalized therapy for female infertility means determining of immune mechanisms, including allergic sensitization towards sperm antigens. In order to determine antisperm serum IgE antibodies in women with infertility suffering from pelvic inflammatory diseases, the modified Anti-Spermatozoa Antibody protocol was used (ASA Serum ELISA, Demeditec Diagnostisc, Germany). The modification of the protocol is designed to detect only serum antisperm IgE antibodies carrying Fab fragments to sperm antigens. Allergen-specific IgEs to a common panel of 176 respiratory and food allergenic molecules were determined using the MeDALL scientific chip developed as a part of the European project. Forty patients suffering from infertility of inflammatory etiology and 16 practically healthy women of reproductive age were examined. Specific IgE antibodies towards sperm antigens were detected in blood serum in 7/40 (17.5%) patients with infertility. The maximum level of sIgE was 4 times higher than the maximal value of fertile women. No correlation with total IgE was detected. Women with sIgE-ASA complained of burning and itching immediately after coition. Systemic and long-term allergic reactions were not noted. Women with positive sIgE-ASA values were 2 times more likely to suffer from chronic recurrent vaginal dysbiosis. The presence of specific anti-sperm IgE antibodies is likely to have pathogenetic significance in female infertility, and they should be taken into consideration for creating personalized therapy approaches.

Background In the Canadian Province of British Columbia (BC), the BC Mental Health Act permits involuntary care for treating mental disorders. However, the Act has also been applied to provide involuntary care to individuals with a primary substance use disorder, in the absence of specific guidelines and legislation, and with insufficient understanding of perspectives of people who use drugs (PWUD) regarding this approach. Methods As part of a larger mixed-methods research project providing an overview of involuntary care for severe substance use disorders in BC, three focus groups were convened with: PWUD, families and caregivers, and Indigenous community stakeholders. This analysis examines perspectives from the focus group of PWUD, consisting of nine participants from local and regional drug user and advocacy organizations regarding involuntary care. A qualitative descriptive approach and thematic analysis were conducted, using a coding framework developed deductively and inductively, and participant perspectives were interpreted drawing on problematization theory. Results Participants did not endorse the use of involuntary care, instead emphasizing significant changes were needed to address shortcomings of the wider voluntary care system. When asked to conceptualize what an acceptable involuntary care scenario might look like (under hypothetical and ideal conditions), participants recommended it should include: individual control and autonomy, peer advocacy in decision-making, and elimination of police and criminal justice system involvement from treatment encounters. Participants saw involuntary care to be an inappropriate approach given the shortcomings of the current system, noting also problems inherent in its use to manage severe SUDs and imminent harm, and prioritized alternate approaches to offsetting risks. Conclusion Improving voluntary care for substance use, along with addressing the social determinants of health that put individuals at risk of problematic substance use and harm, were prioritized in participant perspectives. Participant comments regarding the use of involuntary care bring forward alternate solutions in the context of the opioid overdose crisis, and a reconceptualization of the ‘problem’ of managing severe substance use disorders.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a new method for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia (AGA), the effectiveness and safety of which continues to be studied. Information on comparative efficacy when combining PRP with other methods of treatment is limited. The aim of the study was a comparative evaluation of the clinical efficacy of minoxidil, PRP therapy, and their combination in the treatment of men with AGA.The study included 69 men. The patients were divided into three observation groups: the main group (25 people, received applications of a 5% solution of minoxidil in combination with PRP injections), the comparison group (22 people, received intradermal injections of PRP), and the control group (22 people, received applications of a 5% solution of minoxidil). The clinical efficacy of the therapy was evaluated by the dynamics of morphometric indicators of hair growth using a digital camera and the software.It was established that after complex therapy in the form of minoxidil applications and injections of PRP, the hair density increased by 32% (The data obtained allows suggesting that PRP and minoxidil potentiate each other's action when used together and their complex application seems promising for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia.

The authors make an attempt to establish a relationship between the effectiveness of the institution of public-private partnership (PPP) and its ability to act as a development tool for resource regions. The methodology of the study included two stages. At the first stage, the problem of determining the resource regions and the approaches to their identification were outlined. The second stage involved an analysis of existing approaches to the evaluation of the PPP institution and the issue of assessing its effectiveness. The approaches have been classified into three groups; assessment basis, calculation criteria and algorithm for the evaluation methodology have been identified. At the third stage, the authors used the theory of fuzzy sets for a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of the PPP institution from the perspective of reducing the resource dependence of regions. Four clusters have been revealed, their comparative characteristics are given in the article. It is shown that high indicators of the development of the regulatory framework and the institutional environment do not ensure the effective development of the institute in the region. It is necessary to revise the initial expert evaluation of the criteria, refine the weights of PPP performance assessment factors, and re-clustering. The degree of development of the PPP institution is not sufficient to reveal the relationship with the degree of resource dependence.

The article presents a comparison of the values of the soil deformability characteristics obtained at different densities of the sand base based on the results of laboratory tests3 and the results of computer modeling, using the software systems "ANSYS" and "Plaxis 3D".It was found that for loose sandy soils, at densities of 1.48 – 1.53 g/cm 3, close to experimental values of the deformation modulus were obtained using a three-dimensional finite-element model of polylinear isotropic hardening "PLAS (Miso)," in the program "ANSYS." For average density bases at ρ = 1.55 – 1.66 g/cm3 minimum differences between experimental and numerical values were obtained using the «Plaxis 3D» complex.

The housing and utilities system is extremely energy-intensive and currently impedes the implementation of energy efficiency policies. In this regard, the development of science-based technology for environmentally friendly resource-saving consumption of compressed natural gas, as a source of thermal energy, is becoming relevant. The article describes the technical solution for using the energy of compressed natural gas as a source of thermal energy, which consists in using a vortex heat exchanger in the heating system of a gas control station, which allows you to generate thermal energy due to technologically unused energy, which is the pressure drop between high and medium gas pipelines as well as medium and low pressure natural gas. This technical solution is aimed at reducing energy costs and ensuring environmental safety when using compressed natural gas as a source of thermal energy. To determine the possibility of practical use of this technical solution in the production room for installing gas control equipment, an analytical expression of the temperature of the wet gas mixture after the process of condensate-evaporative heat and mass transfer in a vortex heat exchanger has been obtained, which allows us to predict the parameters of the coolant in the heating system of the production room.

We propose an approach to a self-testing (m, n)-code checker design, based on subdividing the set of all code words into special subsets called segments. The checker circuit is constructed by using one- and two-output configurable logic blocks (CLB). Previously, in each output of a CLB, a function representing exactly one segment was implemented. In the proposed approach, at each CLBs output, it is possible to implement functions that represent several segments and to provide the self-testing property. It allows reducing the number of CLBs and simplifying the circuit of the checker.

The transition to e-learning implies the student’s independent setting of the individual educational goal. In this case, the educational platform of the university is used as a pedagogical tool for calculating the optimal educational trajectory and ensuring the student’s guaranteed achievement of the educational goal by organizing the educational process on the specified platform. The main problem here is the formalization of the individual educational goal of the student with programming languages of various levels. The authors propose an algorithm for formalizing the individual educational goal of a student and building on its basis a logical-semantic model of the educational process, suitable for implementation by means of computer technology. It is shown that in the logical-semantic model of the educational process, the individual educational goal of the student can be adequately described by the pedagogical category "Educational situation", which is defined as a set, the elements of which are quantitative values of the level of formation and development of basic qualities of competencies. It is concluded that the educational platform of the university in this case is a set of educational situations of various levels, and the student is the current educational situation. It is shown that the current educational situation and educational situations of the educational platform of the university are equal sets on a single scale, which makes it possible to carry out mathematical operations for comparing sets. Based on the results obtained during the comparison operations, a conclusion is made about the achievement of the educational goal by the student, or the individual trajectory of its achievement is calculated. The description of the pedagogical experiment is given. Based on the data obtained, a conclusion is made about the adequacy of the model to the process under consideration.

The article considers the problems of infl uence of labour market on the professional identity of students, cooperation of social partners and educational institutions for youth employment providing. The problem of youth fall in unemployment on the basis of including in small and medium enterprises is discussed, the importance of theoretical training in correlation with practical activity at an enterprise is determined.

Aim — to study a character of endothelial dysfunction in the fetoplacental complex in premature abruption of normally positioned placenta (PANPP) in pregnant women without hypertensive syndrome. Material and methods. We followed-up 67 pregnant women with a term of gestation of 28—41 weeks with PANPP and without a hypertensive syndrome and their newborns. Group 1 comprised 35 primapara Group 2—32 multipara women and Group 3 (a control group) included 20 healthy pregnant women with a physiological course of pregnancy. ELIZA method was used to test the blood of pregnant women and their newborns for ET-1, VEGF, PLGF, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-10, TNF-α. Results and discussion. Pregnant women with PANPP had inflammatory diseases of the small pelvis organs, viz. chlamydias, HSV, CMV in 25 (37,3%), ureaplasma — in 51 (76,1%). Abortion threat took place in 32 (47,8%), vomiting of pregnant — in 16 (23,9%), acute respiratory infections — in 39 (58,2%), fetoplacental insufficiency — in 31 (46,3%). On examination a rise in ET-1, VEGF and a decrease in PLGF was noted in the blood of pregnant women with PANPP in comparison with healthy pregnant women suggesting on an endothelium lesion in the uterus and placenta vascular walls, possibly, promoting a manifestation of PANPP clinic. Evaluation of prognostic value of endothelial dysfunction showed (ET-1, VEGF, PLGF) high sensitivity, specificity and accuracy. It was also found that the blood of pregnant women had increased cytokines in comparison with the control group: IL-1β was 2,7—3,0 times higher; IL-6 — 7,3—8,0 times higher; TNF-α — 2,4—2,6 times higher and there was a 1,4—1,5 fold fall in IL-10. Conclusion. Thus, the fetoplacental system is self-regulated. In development of endothelial dysfunction processes of decompensation occur and fetoplacental system cannot continue its self-provision and then various complications happen, such as a disorder the uterine placental-fetal blood flow, delay in fetal development, abortion and PANPP. Evaluation of markers of endothelial dysfunction in PANPP will provide a possibility of prognosis of placental detachment at the preclinical stage and that will enable the obstetrician to begin treatment-and-prophylactic actions in due time.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy has been considered as a promising treatment for androgenetic alopecia (AGA). The aim of the study was comparative evaluation of the clinical efficacy of PRP-therapy, minoxidil, and their combination in the treatment of men with AGA and to evaluate the effects of PRP on the proliferation of hair follicle (HF) cells in skin biopsy. Materials and Methods: The study involved 69 men who were divided into 3 groups who received PRP therapy, minoxidil, and their combination. The clinical efficacy of the therapy was evaluated by the dynamics of morphometric of hairs. To assess cell proliferation antibodies to &beta, catenin, CD34, Ki67, and to Dkk-1 were used. Results. PRP treatment was more effective than minoxidil therapy (p = 0.005). Complex therapy turned out to be more effective than minoxidil monotherapy (p &lt, 0.0001) and PRP monotherapy (p = 0.007). After applying PRP the absolute and relative values of the &beta, catenin and CD34 expression area increased, an increase in Ki67+ index was also significant. Conclusions: PRP can be considered as a treatment option for AGA. Combined PRP and minoxidil use seems promising for the treatment of AGA. PRP increase in the proliferative activity of HF cells and improves hair morphology in patients with AGA.

The article describes design and light distribution features of automotive LED headlights with automatic switching on and off of high beam light. Switching of high beam light is provided by means of an electronic control unit, which is operated by signals from the front camera and the navigation system of vehicle.

Based on theoretic and practical aspects, the authors feature how the Supplementary Education Center operates as a center for developing applied qualifications oriented at the regional labor market needs.

The article describes the features of design and light distribution of automobile LED head lighting. The comparative lighting tests of LED headlamps and conventional ones were carried out.

The article considers the possibilities of application of high-brightness semiconductor light-emitting diodes in lighting systems of automobiles and tractors. There are shown the main parameters of LEDs and circuit diagrams of their connection.

The problem of the phenomenological identification of natural dynamic systems and the characteristics of its solution using a developed method are considered. The success of the method is confirmed by constructing equations which satisfactorily reproduce heart rhythm and the temporal course of tree growth.

We present an algorithm for constructing phenomenological recurrence equations for dynamic systems in the class of power polynomial; the construction is based on processing of measured values of an output signal under conditions ofa priori unknown order of connectivity and of nonlinearity (degree of the polynomial). We present estimates for the efficiency of the algorithm and confirm its correctness. As an example, we construct the equation for an electrocardiogram.

The completeness of the oxidation of an organic substance by oxides in a flow-type system depends not only upon the effectiveness of the oxidizing agent, but also upon the rate of delivery of the substance to the oxidizing layer and upon the physical and chemical properties of the substance. In the classical method of decomposition of the sample, identical conditions guaranteeing an equal degree of oxidation of various substances cannot be ensured. 2. In decomposition in a semiclosed system (with delivery of the products of thermal decomposition of the substance to the oxygen-rich zone), complete oxidation of the organic substance is ensured independent of the use of an oxidizing agent. 3. When the oxidation was conducted in an inert gas atmosphere, nickel oxide proved to be the most active of the tested oxidizing agents.

1. We have studied the effect of the method of combustion on the amount of oxides of nitrogen formed in the gasometric analyses of an organic substance. 2. In the pyrolytic decomposition of nitrogen-containing organic substances all the nitrogen is liberated as elementary nitrogen, regardless of the nitrogen bond in the molecule.

A new and rapid method has been developed for determining nitrogen in various organic substances. One determination takes 20–30 min. The accuracy of the method is ±0.1–0.2%.

1. Under high-pressure conditions (up to 100 kbar) in conjunction with shear at room temperature, nitriles that do not contain free radical centers are polymerized apparently according to a chain mechanism, with the formation of products with a polyconjugated reticular structure. 2. Under the same conditions stable nitroxide radicals containing C=N groups are polymerized primarily according to a stepwise mechanism with the participation of the free radical centers. 3. The application of shear during polymerization in the solid phase under pressure leads to a substantial increase in the reaction rate, which is only partially due to the removal of diffusion limitations.

1. The advantage of the oxidation of organic substances in a static system (closed volume) over the dynamic (jet) method was demonstrated. In a closed volume profound pyrolysis, repeated and as prolonged contact of the decomposition products with the oxidizing agent as desired, and continuity of the oxidation process can be guaranteed. The time of contact of the substance with the oxidizing agent is regulated by the analyst. 2. The rate of oxidation in a closed volume depends on the oxidizing agent used, its physicochemical properties.

1. A gas chromatographic method of determining nitrogen for samples of 0.3–1.5 mg has been developed. 2. The accuracy of the method is ±0.3% abs.; duration of the analysis 15 min.

By self-vulcanizing cements is to be understood cements, films of which at regular room temperature assume within a period of one or two days a vulcanized state. As implied by this definition, self-vulcanizing cements must be based on exceedingly active accelerators. The ultra-accelerators regularly used, such as thiuram disulfides, “Zimate,” and so forth, are not suitable for the purpose. We tested them in our preliminary work, and have proved their inadequacy in this respect. Nevertheless the industry used, under the name of self-vulcanizing cements, cements based on these accelerators. In self-vulcanizing cements accelerators with the lowest critical temperature must be used. Of those available, we chose Vulkacit P, Pipsol X, and zinc butylxanthate, and have established their critical temperature of vulcanization, with the following results: Critical temperature for tetramethylthiuram disulfide 110° C. Critical temperature for Vulkacit P 60° C. Critical temperature for Pipsol X (American) 60° C. Critical temperature for zinc butylxanthate 59° C. On the basis of the above results, we chose zinc butylxanthate. For an activator we used p-toluidine, the critical temperature of the accelerator being lowered from 50° C. to 40° C. by the p-toluidine. It was with this combination of zinc butylxanthate and p-toluidine that we carried out our next work on the following lines: 1. Development of a cement formula. 2. Testing the cement of the chosen formula under laboratory conditions by cementing leather specimens or canvas with rubber, and separating same after curing them in different conditions. 3. Study of gelling in the process of storing cements.

The reaction of O,O-diethyl and O,O-dibutyl S-[(Ethoxydimethylsilyl)methyl] phosphorodithioaies with triethylsilanol proceeds with replacement of the silicon-attached ethoxy group by the triethylsiloxy group. 2. 0,0-Diethyl and 0,0-dibutyl S-[(3,3,3-triethyl-1,1-dimethyldisiloxanylmethyl] phosphorodithioates were prepared and characterized for the first time.
