This article describes a chemical oxidative polymerization for the preparation of nano polymeric thiopheneby using FeCl3 as oxidant. 2-thiophenecarboxaldehyde (2-THCA) compound was used as a monomer atthis polymerization process. The structure of synthesized nano polymeric thiophene was confirmed byscanning electron microscopy (SEM), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetricanalysis (TGA), raman spectroscopy, and elemental analysis of C, H, O and S. SEM images showed thatthe poly(2-thiophenecarboxaldehyde) (PTHCA) was synthesized in nanoscale and had a homogeneous andsmooth structure. The size of the synthesized nano particles was not more than 35 nm. Thermal analysis ofnano polymeric thiophene showed that the polymer is thermally stable up to 450-460 oC. When elementalanalysis results of PTHCA were examined, it was seen that the obtained data after the synthesis of nanopolymeric thiophene and the theoretically determined data were agree with each other.

Dimeric disulphide Schiff bases were synthesized via reactions of 2,2’-diaminodiphenyl disulphide with various aromatic aldehydes under reflux and prepared nano?sized cerium oxide as catalyst. It was observed that, when nanocatalyst was used, the catalyst could be reduced the reaction time and increased yields compared with the none-catalyst conditions. Moreover, the CeO2 nanocatalyst was easy preparation, non-hazardous, ecofriendliness and low cost. Bu çalışmada, öncelikle ONNO tipindeki N,N'-bissalisiliden-l,3-diaminopropan sentezlenmiştir. Bu ligand ile homotrinükleer Ni-Ni-Ni, Cu-Cu-Cu, Zn-Zn-Zn, Cd-Cd-Cd gibi çekirdek yapılarına sahip olan ve u köprüsü taşıyan çizgisel yapıda bazı kompleksler hazırlanmıştır. Daha sonra bu üç çekirdekten merkezdeki +2 yüklü çekirdeğin farklı bir metal olabileceği gözlendi ve Ni-Cu-Ni, Ni-Cc-Ni, Ni-Cd-NL Cu-Cd-Cu ve Cu-Mn-Cu gibi çok sayıda heterotrinükleer kompleksler sentezlenmiştir. Yeni teknolojilerin geliştirilmesi ile birlikte çevre dostu nanomalzemelerin sentezi, nanobilim içerisinde nanopartiküllerin üretimini arttırmaktadır. Son zamanlarda, bitki özleri ve arı ürünleri kullanılarak metal oksit nanopartiküllerin sentezi, nanobilim ve nanobiyoteknoloji alanında, geleneksel fizikokimyasal yaklaşımlara göre sayısız avantajlarla ilgi çekici bir konu olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu çalışmada, çinko oksit nanopartiküllerin (ZnO Np'nin) sentezi için, kestane (Castanea sativa) balı kullanarak yeni, "daha yeşil", biyolojik olarak yönlendirilmiş, düşük maliyetli ve çevre dostu bir yöntem geliştirildi. ZnO Np'lerin sentezi için öncü bileşik olarak kestane balı kullanılırken, metal tuzu olarak ise çinko nitrat hekzahidrat kullanıldı. ZnO Np'nin yapıları, Fourier Dönüşümlü Kızılötesi Spektroskopisi (FT-IR), X-ışını Kırınımı (XRD), Taramalı Elektron Mikroskobu (SEM) ve Enerji Dağılımlı X-ışını analizi ile araştırıldı. With the development of new technologies, the synthesis of environmentally friendly nanomaterials increases the production of nanoparticles in nanoscience. Recently, the synthesis of metal oxide nanoparticles using plant extracts and bee products has emerged as an interesting topic in the field of nanoscience and nanobiotechnology, with numerous advantages over traditional physicochemical approaches. In this study, a new, "greener", bio-directed, low-cost and environmentally friendly method was developed for the synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO Np) using chestnut (Castanea sativa) honey. Chestnut honey was used as the precursor compound for the synthesis of ZnO Np, and zinc nitrate hexahydrate was used as the metal salt. The structures of ZnO Np were investigated by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray analysis. The antimicrobial activities of the obtained ZnO Np against bacteria and fungi were measured by the well diffusion method and the results were recorded.

Nanoteknolojinin ilginç yönlerini keşfetmek adına son yıllarda birbirinden farklı birçok çalışma yapılmıştır. Nanomalzeme üretiminin hızlı gelişimi, çok çeşitli alanlarda metal oksit uygulamalarını da beraberinde getirmiştir. Çinko oksit nanopartikülleri (ZnO NP), ticari kullanım için fiziksel veya kimyasal olarak elde edilebilmektedir. Ancak, nanopartiküllerin üretiminde uygulanan yöntemlerin ortaya çıkardığı çevre sorunları bir hayli dikkat çekmektedir. Günümüzde, ZnO NP'lerin yeşil sentezi, çevre sorunlarını azaltmayı amaçlayan araştırma alanında özellikle ilgi görmektedir. Bu yeşil yaklaşımda, bitki özü, mikrop, mantar ve alg gibi doğal bazlı malzemeler, biyoaktif fitokimyasallardaki zenginleşmeleri nedeniyle biyo-indirgeyici ve biyo-stabilizatör olarak kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, ZnO NP'leri farklı çinko tuzları ile doğal bir ürün olan mantar (Agaricus bisporus) ekstraktı kullanılarak sentezlenmiştir. In recent years, many different studies have been carried out to explore the interesting aspects of nanotechnology. The rapid development of nanomaterial production has brought metal oxide applications in a wide variety of fields. Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NP) can be obtained mechanically or chemically for commercial use. However, the environmental problems caused by these techniques have attracted a great deal of attention. Today, the green synthesis of ZnO NPS is of particular interest in the field of research aimed at reducing environmental problems. In this green approach, natural-based materials such as herbal extract, microbes, fungi and algae are used as bioreducers and biostabilizers due to their enrichment in bioactive phytochemicals. In this study, ZnO NP were synthesized using different salts of zinc and a natural product, mushroom extract (Agaricus bisporus). The obtained ZnO NPS were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis, Energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX). Finally, antimicrobial activities of ZnO NP against bacteria and yeasts were measured by well diffusion method and the results were recorded.

Analizlere göre, özellikle neodimyum iyonunun yapının özellikleri üzerinde önemli bir etkisi olduğu bulundu. This current study was performed in two steps. In first step; NiO nanoparticles were prepared by sol-gel method, ?-Fe2O3 was synthesized by controlled precipitation method and NdFeO3 was produced by sol-gel method. In the second step; NdFe1-xNixO3 was synthesized by the ceramic method in the literature with the addition of commercial Nd2O3, nano-NiO and ?-Fe2O3 under specified conditions, respectively. Each component constituting the synthesis product was determined by spectral analysis during the synthesis period and the effect of each component on the final products crystal properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) but also compounds structures were illustrated by fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy and were detected by magnetic hysteresis with vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), dielectric behavior (Impedance Analyzer) and band gap. According to the analysis, it was found that especially the neodymium ion had a significant effect on properties of the structure.

Azo grubunu oluşturmak için yapılan kenetleme reaksiyonuna ise azo kenetlemesi adı verilir. Bu tepkime çok sayıda renkte ve renk tonunda yüzlerce azoboyar maddesi elde etmek için boyarmadde endüstrisinde yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Ayrıca azo-Schiff bazı metal kompleksleri, antikanser aktiviteye sahip olmalarından dolayı son yıllarda tıp alanında da kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, ilk aşamada anilin türevlerinin çeşitli şartlar altında azokenetleme reaksiyonları gerçekleştirildi. İkinci aşamada sentezlenen bu kenetleme ara ürünleri çeşitli benzaldehit türevleri ile kondenzasyon reaksiyonu sonucu azoboyar Schiff bazı bileşikleri elde edildi. Üçüncü aşamada ise sentezlenen azo-Schiff bazlarından çinko metal tuzu ile çeşitli şartlar altında kararlı metal kompleksleri sentezlendi. Sentezlenmiş olan çinko metal komplekslerin antibakteriyel ve antifungal etkileri çeşitli antibiyotiklerle mukayase edilerek belirlendi. Compounds containing chromophore azo groups (-N = N-) bound to sp2-hybrid carbon atoms are called azo dyes. The coupling reaction to form the azo group is called azo coupling. This reaction is widely used in the dyestuff industry to produce hundreds of azo dyes in many colors and shades. In addition, azo-Schiff has been used in medicine in recent years due to the anticancer activity of some metal complexes. In this study, in the first step, azo coupling reactions of aniline derivatives were performed under various conditions. In the second step, these chelating intermediates synthesized azo dyestuff Schiff base compounds were obtained by condensation reaction with various benzaldehyde derivatives. In the third stage, stable metal complexes were synthesized with zinc metal salt from various azo-Schiff bases. Antibacterial and antifungal effects of synthesized zinc metal complexes were determined by comparing with various antibiotics.

Ayrıca, heterometalik 3d-4f kompleks sentezi için yöntem C'nin kompleksleşmeye daha yatkın olduğu belirlendi. İzole edilebilen ligant ve metal komplekslerinin yapıları FT-IR, Raman, NMR, UV-Vis, TG ve elementel analiz vb. spektroskopik yöntemlerle karakterize edildi. In this study, in the first stage; the three Vanen-type compartmental Schiff bases were synthesized with o-vanillin derivatized with diamines (1,2-diaminoethane,1,3-diaminopropane, 1,4-diaminobutane). In the second stage; these synthesized compartmental Schiff bases (CuL1, CuL2 and CuL3) were complexed with the Cu(CH3COO)2.H2O to prepare mononuclear Cu(II) complexes. Then four different methods in literatures were determined to synthesize 3d-4f complexes. Using these methods, the tendency of the complexes to synthesize polynuclear heterometalic complexes with some the lanthanide salts [La(NO3)3.6H2O, Nd(NO3)3.6H2O and Gd(NO3)3.6H2O] was investigated. Furthermore, it has been determined that method C for the synthesis of heterometallic 3d-4f complexes is in more tendency to complexation. Isolated ligand and metal complexes structures were characterized by spectroscopic methods such as FT-IR, Raman, NMR, UV-Vis, TG and elemental analysis.

In the second step, dimeric disulfide Schiff bases were synthesized via reaction of 2,2'-diaminodiphenyl disulfide with various aromatic aldehydes with nano-sized cerium(IV) oxide catalyst and without catalyst. Effect of catalyst on some parameters such as reaction time and yield of product were investigated.
