Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) can specifically recognize template molecules in solution with imprinted cavities. Due to their capacity for scalable production, they can be used to isolate target products from natural products for industrial production in the fields of pharmaceuticals and food. In this study, magnetic single-template molecularly imprinted polymers (St-MIPs) instead of magnetic multi-template molecularly imprinted polymers (Mt-MIPs) were prepared by surface imprinting using Schizandrol A as a template molecule and deep eutectic solvent (DES) as a functional monomer, combined with solid-phase extraction (SPE) for the adsorption and separation of Schizandrol A, Schisantherin A, Schizandrin A, and Schizandrin B from Schisandra chinensis (Turcz.) Baill. (S. chinensis) fruits extracts. The synthesized MIPs were characterized by FT-IR, TEM, SEM, TG, XRD and VSM, and their adsorption properties were also evaluated. MIPs can specifically recognize the template molecules with high reusability. The purity of the total S. chinensis lignans after SPE was 74.05%, among which that of Schizandrol A, Schisantherin A, Schizandrin A, and Schizandrin B was 33.38%, 8.69%, 16.33% and 15.67%, respectively. Moreover, the one-step synthesis of carrier was easy to operate. And St-MIPs reduced the production cost compared with Mt-MIPs. Simple Summary: At birth, wild boars and their hybrid offspring usually have camouflage coat colors with juvenile stripes (the black/dark longitudinal stripes separated by yellow/light ones) on their back and two side flanks, and the juvenile stripes disappear at 4–5 months old. To study the mechanism of juvenile stripe maintenance, piglets with juvenile stripes were produced by crossing a wild boar with three Duroc sows. Through picture recording and pigment extraction, we observed that the stripe tended to disappear within approximately 70 days. Furthermore, whole-transcriptome comparison between two adjacent stripes (dark and light) on the back revealed that ZIC4, ssc-miR-532-3p and ENSSSCG00000056225 might play a role in the formation of stripes. The present study laid the foundation for future research on the molecular mechanisms underlying juvenile stripes. Wild boars exhibit alternating black (dark) and yellow (light) longitudinal stripes on their back during their infancy (juvenile stripes), and as adults, they transform into uniform wild-type coat color. Aiming to record the procedure of juvenile stripes disappearing, piglets (WD) with juvenile stripes were produced by crossing a wild boar with Duroc sows, and photos of their coat color were taken from 20 d to 220 d. The pigments in the hairs from the black and yellow stripes were determined. Furthermore, the differentially expressed genes between the black and yellow stripes were investigated in 5 WD with the age of 30 d using whole-transcriptome sequencing to explore the genetic mechanism of the juvenile stripes. The juvenile stripes started to disappear at about 70 d, and stripes were not distinguished with the naked eye at about 160 d; that is, the juvenile stripe completely disappeared. A hotspot of a differentially expressing (DE) region was found on chromosome 13, containing/covering 2 of 13 DE genes and 8 of 10 DE lncRNAs in this region. A network among ZIC4, ssc-miR-532-3p, and ENSSSCG00000056225 might regulate the formation of juvenile stripes. Altogether, this study provides new insights into spatiotemporal coat color pattern. Epsilon‐near‐zero (ENZ) materials, exhibiting unique physical characteristics such as near‐zero refraction, have aroused extensive interest and exhibit great potentials in novel applications of perfect absorbers, high‐harmonic generation, and nonlinear optical response. Here, for the first time, magnetic‐driven broadband ENZ materials are designed by fabricating polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/Ni@carbon nanotubes (CNTs) films. Dielectric properties including real permittivity (ɛ′), imaginary permittivity (ɛ″), dielectric loss (tanδ), and impedance (Z) are investigated. When Ni@CNTs content reached 30 wt.%, negative permittivity transferred to positive permittivity at ≈11.5 MHz, and epsilon‐near‐zero (|ɛ′| < 1) is realized from ≈9 to 14 MHz, exhibiting broad ENZ bandwidth of ≈5 MHz. Theory calculations confirm that delocalized electrons are introduced from CNTs, which improve the carrier mobility and achieve low frequency dispersion behavior. Longer interfacial polarization electric fields between PVA and CNTs are also demonstrated by theory calculations, enhancing the positive permittivity response to offset negative permittivity response from Ni@CNTs. These two mechanisms result in broadband ENZ at radio frequency. This film also exhibits excellent magnetic actuation ability under magnetic field, broadening applications from ENZ materials to novel fields such as magnetically actuated robots with perfect absorption, magnetic‐driven biomimetic aircrafts with shielding ability, magnetic‐driven photodetectors, etc. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is closely related to the right ventricle and lung lobes. This study focuses on the segmentation of the right ventricle and lung lobes. We conducted experiments using the MMWHS and our lung lobe datasets and evaluated the segmentation using different training models. We observed that the multi-objective segmentation approach has advantages over single-objective segmentation in segmenting the right ventricle and lung lobes. For the segmentation of the right ventricle, the multi-objective segmentation approach yielded an improvement of 2.0% in the Dice coefficient and 2.5% in the Jaccard index compared to single-objective segmentation. For the segmentation of five lung lobes, the multi-objective segmentation outperformed the single-objective segmentation with Dice coefficient improvements of 1.4%, 1.0%, 1.5%, 0.7%, and 1.3%, respectively.
