This study investigated the prognostic value of serum (s)TARC, vitamin D and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), TARC immunohistochemistry and quantitative PET parameters in 65 R/R cHL patients who were treated with brentuximab vedotin (BV) and DHAP followed by autologous stem-cell transplantation (ASCT) within the Transplant BRaVE study (NCT02280993). At a median follow-up of 40 months, the 3-year progression free survival (PFS) was 77% (95% CI: 67-88%) and the overall survival was 95% (90-100%). Significant adverse prognostic markers for progression were weak/negative TARC staining of Hodgkin Reed-Sternberg cells in the baseline biopsy, and a high standard uptake value (SUV)mean or SUVpeak on the baseline PET scan. After one cycle of BV-DHAP, sTARC levels were strongly associated with the risk of progression using a cutoff of 500 pg/ml. On the pre-ASCT PET scan, SUVpeak was highly prognostic for progression post-ASCT. Vitamin D, LDH and metabolic tumor volume had low prognostic value. In conclusion, we established the prognostic impact of sTARC, TARC staining, and quantitative PET parameters for R/R cHL, allowing the use of these parameters in prospective risk-stratified clinical trials. Item does not contain fulltext Objective: The main aim was to investigate whether forensic psychiatric inpatients can be distinguished from prisoners and non-offender healthy controls based on their performance on neurocognitive tasks measuring behavioral inhibition and behavioral activation. Method: This study used preexisting data from 120 male forensic psychiatric inpatients, 60 male prisoners and 66 male non-offender healthy controls. A multinomial logistic regression analysis was used to study the links between our outcome measures and group membership. To this end, we used outcome measures from a Continuous Performance task, an emotional Stroop task and behavioral inhibition system and behavioral activation system (BIS/BAS) questionnaire. Results: BIS/BAS scores had discriminatory power for distinguishing forensic psychiatric inpatients from prisoners. Measures from the Continuous Performance task and the emotional Stroop task did not significantly differ between the offender groups. Conclusions: BIS/BAS are relevant concepts in the context of criminal behavior and could play a role in the development of new approaches to subtype offender populations, because they seem useful for differentiating forensic psychiatric inpatients from prisoners. For clinical practice, our results suggest that these concepts should be routinely assessed as part of neuropsychological testing in forensic psychiatric settings. 13 p.

We retrospectively studied the efficacy and tolerability of lacosamide (LCM) in children with drug-resistant epilepsy in a tertiary care centre in the Netherlands, from 2013 till 2019, with a follow-up of two years. 79 children, aged < 18 years, were included. Retention rate, effectiveness, reason for termination, and side-effects were analysed. Furthermore, prognostic variables for discontinuation as well as the incidence of side-effects were determined. The LCM retention rate and effectiveness of response were analysed at three, twelve and twenty-four months. The retention rate of LCM was respectively 89.9 %, 68.4 % and 54.4 %. LCM gave an effective response in 60.5 %, 67.9 % and 71.4 % of the participants who were still using LCM at the three follow-up periods. Lack of efficacy was most frequently reported as a reason for discontinuation (58.3 %). Side-effects occurred in 50.6 % of the patients, somnolence (18.2 %) being the most common, followed by behavioural changes (15.6 %), headache (9.1 %) and dizziness (9.1 %). Use of ≥ 1 sodium channel blocker (SCB) was associated with an increased risk (OR = 4.038) of side-effects. An increasing number of anti-seizure medications (ASM) was associated with a reduced risk (OR = 0.524) of stopping LCM. To conclude, LCM is an effective ASM with acceptable side-effects in children with drug-resistant epilepsy.

The Indian government in 2016 began an initiative called – Startup India to help create an enabling environment for entrepreneurs. Startup India provides support in three areas: it provides subsidies and assistance financially, it reduces regulatory burden, and it helps provide an environment for industry-academic partnerships by establishing bootcamps and innovation labs. However, the funds of Startup India have been invested in less than 1% of all Indian startups, meaning most of them still depend on private funding. Additionally, the distribution and funding for these startups are highly concentrated in large urban cities with few options for those in rural areas. There is a disparity of investments among different sectors as well, with IT-enabled technology sectors attracting most of the funding. The success of the entire ecosystem depends on the diversification of investments into sectors like agriculture, healthcare, education, and social services.This paper discusses few issues and challenges that an Indian startup has to face and the opportunities that the country can provide in the current ecosystem.

In this paper, I will explore why Mycenaean political geography during the palatial period (LH IIIA-LH IIIB) still is such a difficult issue. The paper gives an overview of the main ideas about the political configuration in the Late Bronze Age Aegean since the beginning of Mycenaean studies. In particular, I will look at contradictions in the archaeological and historical evidence and at blind spots in research. With the help of insights from the discipline of geography, I propose to include new elements in the discussion, which will be used to begin to explore a different potential scenario.
