Background. Soybean is the main supplier of complete vegetable protein and oil. Prior to the emergence of new early-ripening cultivars, this crop was not cultivated in Irkutsk Province. Its introduction into the area requires a detailed study of agricultural practices, primarily the choice of optimal sowing dates. Materials and methods. Soybean cv. ‘Barguzin’, late-ripening under the conditions of Irkutsk Province, and early-ripening accession 15 served as the research objects. Field studies were carried out in 2019–2021. There were four sowing dates, from the first ten-day period of May through the first ten-day period of June. Results and conclusion. Cv. ‘Barguzin’ appeared highly productive under the climate of Irkutsk Province (its average seed yield in 2019–2021 was 2.7 t/ha), but its productivity was significantly influenced by weather conditions and sowing dates (seed yields varied from 1.4 to 3.6 t/ha). The optimal sowing times for this cultivar are the first and second ten-day periods of May. Early-ripening accession 15 was characterized by more stable yield values in the studied years (average productivity was 2.4 t/ha, minimum 1.9 t/ha, and maximum 3.2 t/ha). The preferred sowing times for this accession are the second and third ten-day periods of May. The case study of two soybean genotypes differing in maturation schedules revealed the need for individual selection of sowing dates. It was shown that the early-ripening soybean genotype imposed less stringent requirements on the choice of sowing dates.

Relevance. The nerve growth factor (NGF), possessing neuroprotective and neuroregenerative properties, holds promise for the development of medications for the treatment of post-stroke conditions. At the Federal Research Center for Innovator and Emerging Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Technologies, a dimeric dipeptide mimic of NGF with the laboratory code GK-2 was designed and synthesized. Under conditions of experimental cerebral ischemia, it significantly reduced the volume of brain infarction and stimulated neuro- and synaptogenesis.Objective. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of GK-2 on experimental post-stroke dementia and depression.Methods. Ischemic stroke was induced by occlusion of the middle cerebral artery (MCAO) in Wistar rats. GK-2 was administered intraperitoneally at a dose of 0.5 mg/kg for 21 days post MCAO. Short-term and long-term memory of the animals were assessed 30–40 days post MCAO using the novel object recognition test. Depressive-like state was evaluated through the forced swimming test and sucrose preference test.Results. In animals subjected to MCAO, both short-term and long-term memory exhibited a statistically significant decline of 80 %, along with a depressive-like state characterized by a 50 % increase in total immobility time and a 30 % reduction in sucrose preference, when compared to the sham-lesioned group. Dipeptide GK-2 completely averted the onset of these impairments.Conclusion. The dipeptide mimic of NGF, GK-2, mitigates the development of cognitive and psychomotional impairments in the setting of experimental stroke.

Eight important biotargets of biaromatic cardioprotective drugs were selected in this work: calcium Cav1.2-channel, sodium Nav1.5-channel, potassium hERG-channel and Kv1.5-channel, HCN-channel, β1-adrenergic receptor, ryanodine RyR2-receptor and σ1-receptor. Biaromatic ligands databases were collected for each of them, on the basis of which their pharmacophore models were calculated in the Phase Schrödinger program. Using the PhaseScore function, we analyzed the correspondence of previously synthesized and studied bis-arylazaazlkanes to calculated pharmacophore models. It was found that the vastmajority of molecules have a correspondence of more than 50 % to all models, which indicates a high probability of the involvement of these biotargets in the possible cardioprotective effects of bis-arylazaazlkanes, and also confirms the hypothesis of the multitargetability of substances with this structure.

The article studies the subject of improving the non-state pension provision mechanism considering the fintech application implementation into the system. The purpose of the study is to develop an application conceptual model in the framework of pension planning and individual pension strategies formation considering constant monitoring of changes in the legislative, economic, and other spheres to ­create an additional way for citizens to independently form long-term savings for developing the third level of the pension system. Information synthesis and analysis, available literature review, comparison, the results obtained formalization and specification have been carried out. The paper presents problems and analysis of existing programs to motivate long-term savings and proposals in the field of pension savings formation for developing the third level of pension provision. AKPIN fintech-application will allow to develop individual strategies for pension savings formation and will be aimed at a long-term strategy implementation for developing the accumulative component of the pension system in Russia. The proposed application has the ability to analyze the user’s data and, based on it, offer recommendations to increase their savings. If the user decides to spend funds, it can also issue recommendations on request. Due to continuous monitoring of the news background, financial regulators’ actions, financial indicators and changes in legislation, the application can offer up-to-date recommendations and assist users in making effective individual decisions in the area of pension savings management for citizens of the Russian Federation.

Background. Breast cancer (BC) is a heterogeneous disease, in which it is crucial not only to detect the tumor, but also to determine its biological characteristics to choose an optimal treatment strategy. Herein, we review existing literature on the subject and analyze own data.Aim. To analyze clinical and morphological characteristics of rare histological types of BC.Materials and methods. In this retrospective study, we analyzed the results of instrumental examination of 180 patients with mucinous BC treated in Sverdlovsk Regional Oncology Dispensary between 2020 and 2022. The mean age of the participants was 62.5 years. All patients underwent comprehensive examination, including digital mammography using the Fujifilm Amulet Innovality system, multiparametric ultrasound breast examination using the EPIQ 5 system (Phillips, Netherlands), and 1.5 T dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging with a 16-channel – dedicated breast coil (GE Healthcare, USA).Results and conclusion. The incidence of mucinous BC was 1.8 %. Other rare types of BC, such as occult, medullary, papillary, tubular, and cribriform cancer were observed in less than 1 % of cases, which is consistent with the available literature data. Mucinous tumors were primarily represented by luminal B histology (73.3 %); the Ki-67 proliferation index was usually 35 %. The most common radiological manifestation was a hyperdense formation with clear contours (85 %). Ultrasound examination usually revealed a hypoechoic formation with clear and irregular contours (92 %); however, 8 % of patients presented with isoechoic formations that can hardly be distinguished from the background. Magnetic resonance imaging showed the following patterns: mass (87.5 %) with a persistent type of contrast accumulation (56.2 %) (type I curve) or curve exhibiting a plateau (43.8 %) (type II curve). Contrast agent accumulation started from the first minutes and was >100 % in all patients. Limitation of diffusion was observed in 25 % of patients. Patients with mucinous BC were usually characterized by late manifestation; 3 patients additionally had other cancers, including colorectal cancer, mucoepidermal tumor of the salivary gland, pancreatic cancer. None of these patients had family history of cancer. Isolated findings of X-ray mammography, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging suggested benign breast tumors and no cancer-specific features.A multimodal approach enabled early detection of non-specific signs of rare forms of BC characterized by a specific clinical pattern with symptoms typical of this particular cancer from.

When planning daily shifts in a motor transport enterprise, the main task is to maximize the use of the vehicle fleet’s carrying capacity, estimated by the amount of cargo that can be transported per shift (day) in the absence of all types of unproductive losses. The solution to this problem can be found within the framework of the concept of lean thinking, the center of which is the identification and elimination of unproductive losses. To identify the factors that caused losses, causal research is used, an example of which, along with others, is the situational approach. The problematic situation is a cause-and-effect complex of factors, the elimination of which ensures an increase in the efficiency of cargo transportation. The situation model contains a quantitative assessment of the goal of eliminating the problem situation, technical and operational indicators characterizing certain types of losses and recommended measures to eliminate them. The purpose of the study is to develop tools for assessing losses in the carrying capacity of a vehicle fleet, based on situational modeling in the implementation of the principles of lean thinking in relation to the transportation of metallurgical cargo. The study used methods of situational analysis, mathematical modeling, and analysis of technical and operational indicators of the transport process. To study the state of the issue, an analysis of scientific literature was carried out. The main results of scientific novelty are: a situational model of vehicle fleet capacity losses; coefficients of loss of vehicle fleet carrying capacity when transporting metallurgical cargo. Calculation of vehicle fleet capacity loss coefficients must be made using the capabilities of intelligent navigation control systems. Further research is expected to be conducted in the direction of developing specific applications of the concept of lean thinking and situational approach to increasing the efficiency of cargo transportation, as well as in the direction of developing digital systems for managing road transport.

The issue of income inequality is highly relevant in scientific literature. It is caused both by the population’s pursuit of achieving an acceptable level of social justice specific to a particular society and by the property, which is often attributed to income inequality, to negatively influence economic development and growth. This article conducts an analysis of cause-and-effect relations between income inequality in the Russian regions (measured by the Gini index) and the level of gross regional product (hereinafter referred to as GRP) per capita. The primary research method employed is the Granger causality test. The research is based on data from the Federal State Statistics Service on the socio-economic development of Russian regions. Direct and reversal causality tests were performed, revealing that GRP per capita influences income inequality, but not vice versa. Moreover, the logarithm of GRP per capita exhibits a bidirectional relationship with the Gini index for Russian regions. On the basis of the obtained results, it is concluded that for effective management of the issue of regional income inequality, it is advisable to use indirect methods of financial regulation instead of the direct ones and influence income inequality through indicators of GRP per capita in Russian regions, thereby creating conditions for an increase in the standard of living and average income.

The basis for solving almost all geological problems are models, which are a reflection of the structure of deposits. This places high demands on the detail and accuracy of the models.One of the most important parameters in the calculation of reserves is the oil saturation factor, observed in most cases using Dakhnov-Archie models. Despite the widespread use of this technique, it has a number of significant limitations. An alternative way to assess oil saturation in this case is to use a capillary model obtained from the results of capillary measurements of the core.The capillary model is a continuous multidimensional function of the dependence of the water saturation coefficient on the free water level, porosity and permeability. A well-compiled capillary model is a reflection of the geological model of the reservoir – with information about the water saturation of the reservoirs by the altitude of the structure, the levels of fluid contacts, fluid densities, surface and reservoir properties.This paper discusses the capabilities of capillary models, which are widely used in three-dimensional modeling of the degree of saturation of the interwell space, the calculation of the volume of oil-saturated rocks, geological reserves of hydrocarbons, as well as dynamic characteristics in the construction of hydrodynamic models.

Abstract Wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) are considered to be hotspots for the spread of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs). We performed a metagenomic analysis of the raw wastewater, activated sludge and treated wastewater from two large WWTPs responsible for the treatment of urban wastewater in Moscow, Russia. In untreated wastewater, several hundred ARGs that could confer resistance to most commonly used classes of antibiotics were found. WWTPs employed a nitrification/denitrification or an anaerobic/anoxic/oxic process and enabled efficient removal of organic matter, nitrogen and phosphorus, as well as fecal microbiota. The resistome constituted about 0.05% of the whole metagenome, and after water treatment its share decreased by 3–4 times. The resistomes were dominated by ARGs encoding resistance to beta-lactams, macrolides, aminoglycosides, tetracyclines, quaternary ammonium compounds, and sulfonamides. ARGs for macrolides and tetracyclines were removed more efficiently than beta-lactamases, especially ampC, the most abundant ARG in the treated effluent. The removal efficiency of particular ARGs was impacted by the treatment technology. Metagenome-assembled genomes of multidrug-resistant strains were assembled both for the influent and the treated effluent. Ccomparison of resistomes from WWTPs in Moscow and around the world suggested that the abundance and content of ARGs depend on social, economic, medical, and environmental factors.

The gradual deterioration problem of the demographic balance in developed countries is obvious, and its relevance is increasing every year. Russia, as well as most developed countries, has completed the demographic transition and is faced with the typical consequences of this event: a moderate increase in life expectancy, aging of the population, a steady natural decline in the population, a shortage of qualified personnel in the labor market, etc. The article analyzes various financial regulation aspects of demographic dynamics in the Russian Federation, considering the consequences of the demographic transition and the new realities in which the country found itself in 2022. The study purpose is to assess possible financial, administrative, migration and combined strategies to improve the demographic balance in Russia by changing the reproductive behavior patterns of the modern family. The research is based on the thesis that the modern demographic policy of Russia is aimed more at combating poverty than at reproducing high-quality human capital. The strengths and weaknesses of state regulation various financial strategies of birth rate processes are analyzed, and it is concluded that their application is quite expensive for the state and contains risks of falling into the trap of overloading social security systems for a transitional period in case of success of state policy. An alternative version of demographic policy is also analyzed, in which the state follows the path of industrial human cloning and centralized reproduction of human capital.

The Great Knot is a species from the Scolopacidae family of waders migrating within the East Asian-Australasian Flyway, and studies on this species have contributed greatly to understanding of migration ecophysiology and migration strategies in long-distance migrants. In this paper, we provide the first description of biometric variability and sexual size dimorphism in Great Knots. During the study on the Kamchatka Peninsula, 683 adults and 229 juveniles were measured and sexed molecularly. In adults, the mean measurements of females were larger than in males, except for tarsus length. In juveniles, at the early stage of migration from breeding to wintering grounds, apparently growth was not complete. Sexual dimorphism was small, with only wing length being significantly longer in females than in males. All dimensions of juveniles were smaller than those of adults, especially in bill length. The most sexually dimorphic trait in both adults and juveniles was wing length, and the most effective discriminant function with wing length as a single predictor correctly identified the sex of 76% of birds in both age classes. However, molecular sexing is the method of choice for reliable sexing, especially in juveniles.

Purpose: To compare the effectiveness of trabeculectomy and evaluate the change of the state of the tissues of the anterior segment of the eye in patients with long-term use of preservative and non-preserved hypotensive therapy before surgery. Patients and Methods. The study was conducted in a group of 30 patients (30 eyes) aged from 58 to 77 years with uncompensated primary openangle glaucoma, who were admitted to the glaucoma surgery. The patients were divided into 2 groups depending on the hypotensive regimen used before surgery: group I - patients who used preservative-containing local hypotensive drugs; Group II - patients who used Traviolan© and other non-preservative hypotensive drugs before antiglaucoma surgery. At the initial examination, the collection and analysis of patient complaints, visometry, tonometry, and biomicroscopy of the structures of the anterior segment of the eye were performed. Patients complaints were assessed on the OSDI test questionnaire. The study of total tear production was investigated using the Schirmer test. The tear film break time study investigated the Norn test. Observation and re-examinations were performed a week, 1 month and 3 months after trabeculectomy. Results. A week after glaucoma surgery, there was a short-term deterioration in the parameters by which dry eye disease (DED) was assessed: in group I, OSDI was 11.8 ± 3.3, Schirmer and Norn tests — 5.3 ± 1.3 mm and 4.3 ± 1.0 sec, respectively. In group II OSDI was 10.7 ± 3.5, Schirmer and Norn tests were 8.2 ± 2.2 mm and 4.7 ± 1.3 sec, respectively. After 1 and 3 months, the DED indicators improved, more pronounced in group I: after 1 and 3 months, OSDI was 12.9 ± 3.7 and 12.9 ± 4.2, respectively; Schirmer’s test — respectively, 7.4 ± 1.9 and 7.0 ± 1.8 mm; Norn’s test — 5.1 ± 0.8 and 5.2 ± 0.9 sec. In group II, 1 and 3 months after trabeculectomy, OSDI was 12.4 ± 3.0 and 12.4 ± 2.4. Schirmer’s test was 9.9 ± 2.1 and 9.5 ± 1.7 mm, Norn’s test was 5.5 ± 1.2 and 5.5 ± 1.3 sec, respectively. At all follow-up periods, except for week 1, there was a significant intergroup difference between the studied parameters of dry eye disease (p < 0.05). Conclusion. Long-term use of preservative-containing hypotensive therapy contributes to the development of chronic toxic-allergic conjunctivitis, which affects the long-term prognosis of trabeculectomy and the quality of life associated with DED. One of the ways to minimize such negative effects is the use of preservative-free drugs in the selection of glaucoma therapy. The use of a preservative-free form of travoprost is justified due to its high selectivity for FP-prostanoid receptors, which ensures high efficiency and less side effects. The improvement in DED parameters associated with cancel of therapy after surgery is more pronounced in the group of patients who initially took preservative-free drugs.

In this work, we have studied the recently discovered hectometric continuum radiation in near-Earth plasma. We have carried out a detailed statistical analysis of the occurrence of a hectometric continuum near Earth at distances 1.1–2 Re, where Re is the Earth radius, for a two-year period, using data from the ERG (Arase) satellite. We have established that the generation of the hectometric radiation depends on the local magnetic time. The continuum radiation of this type is shown to occur mainly at night and in the morning. We have also studied the dependence of the occurrence of hectometric radiation on geomagnetic activity and have demonstrated that there is no direct dependence of the occurrence of hectometric radiation on geomagnetic disturbances. Moreover, the statistical analysis made it possible to localize sources of radio emission of this type in near-Earth space and to show that the source(s) of generation of the hectometric continuum radiation is located at low latitudes.

The process of obtaining powders from the 5–50 μm fraction of a W-Ni-Fe system consisting of particles with predominantly spherical shapes was investigated. Experimental studies on the plasma–chemical synthesis of a nanopowder composed of WNiFe-90 were carried out in a plasma reactor with a confined jet flow. A mixture of tungsten trioxide, nickel oxide, and iron oxide powders interacted with a flow of hydrogen-containing plasma generated in an electric-arc plasma torch. The parameters of the spray-drying process and the composition of a suspension consisting of WNiFe-90 nanoparticles were determined, which provided mechanically strong nanopowder microgranules with a rounded shape and a homogeneous internal structure that contained no cavities. The yield of the granule fraction under 50 μm was 60%. The influence of the process parameters of the plasma treatment of the nanopowder microgranules in the thermal plasma flow on the degree of spheroidization and the microstructure of the obtained particles, seen as their bulk density and fluidity, was established. It was shown that the plasma spheroidization of the microgranules of the W-Ni-Fe system promoted the formation of a submicron internal structure in the obtained spherical particles, which were characterized by an average tungsten grain size of 0.7 μm.

Purpose. The purpose of the study was to examine the features of the restoration of plant communities and some properties of gray forest soils, including the humus state, during their post-agrogenic transformation in the conditions of the Cis-Baikal forest-steppe zone. Materials and methods. The study was carried out using the post-agrogenic chronosequences, including arable land, abandoned soils of different ages, and natural cenoses (meadow and forest). Traditional methods of phytocenology were applied to study the plant composition. Mixed soil samples from three trenches were collected from the former arable layer of 0–20 cm. The content of organic carbon (Corg), total nitrogen (N), and the C/N ratio, the pH(H2O) and pH(KCL) values, as well as soil density and the reserves of Corg were determined. The statistical processing of data was performed using One Way ANOVA (Sigma Plot from Windows Version 14.0). Results. It was shown that plant vegetation being typical for the Baikal forest-steppe zone was recovering after the cessation of plowing. At the same time, the several ruderal species were preserved in the plant composition during a long period. This specific phenomenon could be the cause for inhibition of terminal phytocenoses formation. Along with the change in the vegetation, a significant increase in the organic carbon content was revealed in the soils of chronosequences. At the later stages of post-agrogenic succession the carbon reserves in soil were 1.5 times higher than those in arable soil. The humus content in the soils increased with age of the abandoned lands, but no cardinal changes in its qualitative composition were observed. The data indicated the stable functioning of the system of humus substances in the gray forest soils of the Baikal forest-steppe zone during their post-agrogenic evolution. Conclusion. The results can be used for the forecast of post-agrogenic soil changes under various scenarios of land use in conditions of the Baikal region.

This paper briefly describes the development of information technology tools using biometric data, in particular, human gait parameters. The problems of assessing gait parameters using a mobile phone accelerometer in real conditions are briefly described. The relevance of this research is substantiated in the field of developing algorithms for assessing biometric gait indicators based on data from wearable devices. The main approaches to the processing of wearable device accelerometer data are considered, the main shortcomings and problems in improving the quality of gait parameter estimation are indicated. The algorithm for processing data from a mobile phone accelerometer is described. In the proposed algorithm, the selection of movement patterns during gait in the recorded data is carried out on the basis of statistical information within the “floating” time window (frequency component with the maximum contribution to the spectrum of the accelerometer signal, the duration of the selected time segments), as well as on the basis of the value of the correlation coefficient, selected time segments. At the stage of data segmentation, the time window of searching of movement segments, as well as the allowable thresholds of selecting movements by their duration, change depending on the individual characteristics of the gait and human activity. The classification of the selected segments according to the nature of gait movements is carried out on the basis of a feed-forward neural network. The sigmoid was used as the activation function for the hidden layers, and the normalized exponential function was used for the output layer. The neural network was trained using the gradient backdescent method with cross entropy as an optimization criterion. Due to the selection of segments with a high correlation coefficient, the classification of data shows the quality of distinguishing movements above 95%.
