More applications are being developed for the Internet of Things (IoT) these days. What resources are available to help with the software design phase, particularly for those programs that emphasize interplay? The incorporation of cognitive approach can aid in the understanding of people and the application of these discoveries in the design phase. The goal of this article is to introduce the idea of blending and the architecture of Integrated Interactions, and to apply those principles to the IoT. This article evaluates the intellectual foundations of conceptual integration and the layering process. After that, this article describes the Integrated Interaction framework and shows an Affinity Table in intervention. This paper also evaluates the fundamentals of the Internet of Things and how it can be used in various industries. According to the findings, this application offers a distinct blend.

Electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), as an effective analytical technique for electrochemical system, has shown a wide application for food quality and safety assessment recently. Individual differences of livestock cause high variation in quality of raw meat and fish and their commercialized products. Therefore, in order to obtain the definite quality information and ensure the quality of each product, a fast and on-line detection technology is demanded to be developed to monitor product processing. EIS has advantages of being fast, nondestructive, inexpensive, and easily implemented and shows potential to develop on-line detecting instrument to replace traditional methods to realize time, cost, skilled persons saving and further quality grading. This review outlines the fundamental theories and two common measurement methods of EIS applied to biological tissue, summarizes its application specifically for quality assessment of meat and fish, and discusses challenges and future trends of EIS technology applied for meat and fish quality assessment.

In order to measure the minor impedance changing process in low concentrated electrolyte solutions, a method of triangular waveform voltage excitation is investigated together with principal component analysis (PCA). The immersed planar-interdigitated electrode (IDT) is excited by a triangular waveform voltage signal. The response current during one duty cycle is sampled to construct a measurement vector. The measurement matrix is then constructed by the measured vectors obtained at different measurements. After processed by PCA, the time-varying information of solution impedance is obtained from the principal components. Since the measurement results are independent on the equivalent circuit models, the noise-induced problems encountered during equivalent impedance calculation are therefore avoided. Two kinds of commonly used planar-interdigitated electrodes, i.e. Au electrode on Si substrate and Au electrode on PCB substrate, are experimentally tested in low concentrated KCl solutions. Experimental results indicate that minor solution conductivity changes can be effectively measured by the proposed method.

A kind of micro-array detecting system based on SPR imaging has been developed. The light source of this system is a semiconductor laser. The light emitted from the source becomes round and parallel after going through a pinhole and being collimated. This parallel light beam arrives at a polarizer, its s-light component is shielded and p-light component passes through. The p-light component which is of a rectangular shape after going through a rectangular slip is cast onto the glass surface of a sensing chip, and generates an evanescent wave which excites surface plasmon resonance (SPR). The SPR images are accepted by a 2D CCD camera and processed in real time by a computer. The chips are made into bare gold film array by photoetching and cause the linker layer to cover the gold thin film by self-assembling. Then, rabbit IgG is immobilized onto the liker layer, which finished the preparation of array sensing chip. Once the sensing chip is installed, the detecting system begins the investigation of the interaction between rabbit IgG and its antibody. The experimental results indicate that the 2D SPR biosensor is able to detect a number of units in real time for gene expression products. The improvement of technology and the increase of array number can realize high throughput detection, which is significant to proteomics study and new drug discovery and development.

A conductivity detection method using two stainless steel electrodes by taking advantage of the free damping oscillation phenomenon is proposed. By electrically connecting an inductor and a capacitor to the two sensing electrodes, a second order resonant system is formed. When the resonant system is excited into free damping oscillation mode by a square wave pulse, its decay factor and natural frequency can be measured simultaneously. Experimental results, which are confirmed by numerical simulation, indicate that the decay factor is dominated by the electrical conductivity of solutions. When the peak voltage is adopted as measurand instead of decay factor, a simple electrical circuit can be implemented for online concentration measurement. NaCl solutions are used in experiments to verify the proposed method and satisfying results are obtained.

A blind source separation method is proposed to identify source interfering signals at analog circuits nodes. Based on an instantaneous linear mixing model, independent component analysis algorithm is used for separating interfering signals from observed signals. The influences of energy storage circuit elements such as capacitance are analyzed via numerical and experimental simulations. It is shown that, for circuits in which energy storage circuit elements perform less significant effects, relatively satisfied separation results of interfering signals can be obtained. On the other hand, in cases that energy storage circuit elements have significant effects, the separation results will deteriorate. Moreover, when a known input signal is enclosed in the observed mixtures, the separation results for interfering signals will be obviously improved.

An optical yarn quality measurement system is constructed. To extract yarn defects of neps and foreign fibers with different colors, a novel structure of optoelectronic sensor is proposed. The experimental signals acquired by the system perform low signal to noise ratio therefore makes it difficult to defect discrimination. Concerning these problems, two methods, K-th moment filter and minimum entropy filter, are utilized for signal processing. The results indicate that both methods are effective for the extracting of abnormal signals corresponding to yarn defects. The K-th moment filter has the advantage of lower computational complexity and is more effective in on-line measurement system. On the other hand, the minimum entropy filter can remain more local tiny features in the processed signals by adjusting the parameters properly so that is better in anomaly detecting of the defects in different levels.

An FPGA-based interface for recording high-speed continuous data stream is introduced. The original data stream is input to the interface and reconstructed to four low-speed data streams. Synchronously, by calculating the XOR value of the four corresponding data streams, one checkout code stream is generated. On the other hand, the interface can inversely recover the original data stream while reading. Moreover, when one of the recorded data streams is unreadable, the interface can restore the data stream with the assist of the checkout codes. As the core of this interface, one FPGA chip is selected to implement all the corresponding algorithms. Experimental results show that the interface can work perfectly under the clock of 80 MHz.

A new demodulation method is developed for frequency-shift key (FSK) signals in railway tracks. Because of the harsh electrical environment, strong background noises are usually found in the sampled FSK signals. Based upon a zoom fast Fourier transform (ZFFT) algorithm, the segmented data blocks are used in an overlapping way for further processing. Theoretical analysis shows that, by using the algorithm proposed in this paper, the useful information can be successfully snatched in a fast way from the low SN ratio FSK signals. Moreover, a low-cost demodulation system is implement with a DSP chip TMS320F206. Experimental results prove that it can not only meet the requirements of real-time demodulation, but also greatly reduce the probability of incorrect decisions.
