Little is known about gender differences in the symptom burden of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) on antiretroviral therapy in China. This study was conducted based on a biopsychosocial-medical model to describe gender differences in symptom burden among 1035 PLWHA in Yunnan Province, China. After propensity score matching, 798 PLWHA were included in this analysis. Feeling stressed, poor sleep, and memory loss were the most burdensome symptoms among men, while feeling stressed, memory loss, and dizziness were the most burdensome symptoms among women. Among men PLWHA, factors associated with symptom burden were being of the ethnic minority, CD4 count ≥ 500 cells/mm3, physical functioning, and social support. Among women PLWHA, factors associated with symptom burden were being an inpatient, physical functioning, psychological functioning, and social support. Our findings suggest that healthcare providers need to take into account gender differences when developing optimal prevention, treatment, and care programs that provide individualized care to reduce patients' symptom burden. This study aims to solve the icing problem of wind turbine blades in low-temperature environments and to improve the power generation efficiency of wind turbines. In this study, modified TiO2 particles (500 nm), butyl acetate solvent, polyaspartic acid ester polyurea (PAE polyurea), and Crestron N75 curing agent were mixed and sprayed on the epoxy resin board surface. Static icing test, dynamic icing test, wear resistance test, and icing adhesion strength test studies were carried out to evaluate the anti-icing performance of the coating as well as its mechanical stability. The results showed that the mechanical stability and anti-icing performance of the coating were relatively optimal when the ratio of modified TiO2 particles to PAE polyurea was 1.5. Under this ratio, the static contact angle of the coating was 161.4°, and the rolling angle was 4.7°. The main reason for the superhydrophobic performance after 250 wear cycles was that the TiO2 particles were encapsulated by PAE polyurea. The static contact angle of the coating was still greater than 150° after eight icing–de-icing cycles. This paper provides a simple method to prepare a robust superhydrophobic coating and promotes the application of superhydrophobic coatings in the field of passive anti-icing of wind turbine blades. Huanglongbing (HLB) and citrus canker, arising from Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus ( Ca Las) and Xanthomonas citri pv. Citri ( Xcc ), respectively, have been imposing tremendous losses to the global citrus industry. Systemic acquired resistance (SAR) has been shown to be crucial for priming defense against pathogen in citrus. Salicylic acid (SA) binding protein 2 (SABP2), which is responsible for converting methyl salicylate (MeSA) to SA, is essential for full SAR establishment. Here, we characterized the functions of four citrus SABP2 genes ( CsSABP2-1 , CsSABP2-1 V18A , CsSABP2-2 and CsSABP2-3 ) against HLB and citrus canker. In vitro enzymatic assay revealed that all four proteins had MeSA esterase activities, and CsSABP2-1 and CsSABP2-1 V18A has the strongest activity. Their activities were inhibited by SA except for CsSABP2-1 V18A . Four genes controlled by a strong promoter 35S were induced into Wanjincheng orange ( Citrus sinensis Osbeck) to generate transgenic plants overexpressing CsSABP2 . Overexpressing CsSABP2 increased SA and MeSA content and CsSABP2-1 V18A had the strongest action on SA. Resistance evaluation demonstrated that only CsSABP2-1 V18A had significantly enhanced tolerance to HLB, although all four CsSABP2s had increased tolerance to citrus canker. The data suggested the amino acid Val-18 in the active site of CsSABP2 plays a key role in protein function. Our study emphasized that balancing the levels of SA and MeSA is crucial for regulating SAR and conferring broad-spectrum resistance to HLB and citrus canker. Objective: Antisocial behavior and antisocial personality disorder (ASPD) cause serious harm to society and families. Ethnicity may have an impact on an individual's antisocial behavior and the incidence of ASPD. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the current status of antisocial behavior and ASPD among youth and its correlation with ethnicity in ethnic minority areas in China., Methods: A total of 2475 Chinese youth (1794 under 18 and 681 greater than or equal to 18) were recruited from December 1 to 30, 2021, in Yunnan, China. All participants completed a General Information Questionnaire and the Personality Diagnostic Questionnaire Fourth Edition Plus (PDQ-4+). Associations between antisocial behavior and ASPD and sociodemographic factors such as ethnicity were examined using binary logistic regression analysis., Results: The positive rate of antisocial behavior screening in youth was 5.4% (95% CI (confidence interval): 4.3-6.4), with a positive rate of ASPD screening of 4.4% (95% CI: 2.9-6.0). Male, single-child and maternal education level at senior high school and above were risk factors for positive antisocial behavior screening, while senior high school grade and medium subjective family economic status were protective factors for positive antisocial behavior screening. Being male and paternal educational background were risk factors for positive ASPD screening., Conclusion: This study found high rates of positive screening for antisocial behavior and ASPD in youth and no significant differences in ethnicity. RNA-based therapeutics offer a flexible and reversible approach for treating genetic disorders, such as antisense oligonucleotides, RNA interference, aptamers, mRNA vaccines, and RNA editing. In recent years, significant advancements have been made in RNA base editing to correct disease-relevant point mutations. These achievements have significantly influenced the fields of biotechnology, biomedical research and therapeutics development. In this article, we provide a comprehensive overview of the design and performance of contemporary RNA base editors, including A-to-I, C-to-U, A-to-m 6 A, and U-to-Ψ. We compare recent innovative developments and highlight their applications in disease-relevant contexts. Lastly, we discuss the limitations and future prospects of utilizing RNA base editing for therapeutic purposes. There are many methods of water disinfection, and how to realize low energy consumption, high efficiency and safety sterilization has always been a research hotspot. In this work, Cu 7 S 4 nanowires were grown on copper foam, and coated with N-doped carbon layer and Ag particles, which not only improved the conductivity and local field enhancement regions of the material, but also improved the durability and mechanical stability of Cu 7 S 4 . DFT (Density functional theory) calculation shows that different kinds of N doping make the electron difference density and work function of the surrounding C different, which leads to high carrier transport capacity at the interface, and Ag anchored in N-doped carbon films can adsorb O 2 . The band gap of the material is 2.12 eV, and the material has the potential to generate superoxide anion under energy excitation. Under the condition of 6 V voltage and 1000 mL min -1 water flow rate, the long-term water filtration sterilization of high-concentration bacteria can be realized, and the removal efficiency can still reach 99% after 8 h continuous treatment. Cell-cell communication via gap junctions regulates a wide range of physiological processes by enabling the direct intercellular electrical and chemical coupling. However, the in vivo distribution and function of gap junctions remain poorly understood, partly due to the lack of non-invasive tools with both cell-type specificity and high spatiotemporal resolution. Here, we developed PARIS ( p airing a ctuators and r eceivers to optically is olate gap junctions), a new fully genetically encoded tool for measuring the cell-specific gap junctional coupling (GJC). PARIS successfully enabled monitoring of GJC in several cultured cell lines under physiologically relevant conditions and in distinct genetically defined neurons in Drosophila brain, with ~10 s temporal resolution and sub-cellular spatial resolution.
