Outsourcing in logistics is an important step to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency. In this sense, it is possible to come across outsourcing in many areas of logistics processes. One of the outsourcing steps is the decision to select the software. Choosing the right software can affect the market share of the organization and the implementation time, effort, and cost. The findings of this research will help the marketing and sales teams of software product companies to develop key points and also enable end users to make informed decisions in selecting software packages for the organization. In this study, the studies in the literature were examined through the Scopus database, and co-citation analysis was performed using the VOSviewer program. As a result of the analysis, the articles analyzed were divided into four clusters and explained.

Teachers' appointments & relocations may create problems for both teachers & educational administers in centralized & developing countries. Policymakers should not only consider school needs but also give attention to teachers' needs while appointing teachers to schools in a nationwide system. Current regulations in Turkey give priority to vacancies in schools. However, this priority causes partners to live apart from each other or let one of them work in schools located, generally, in rural districts or villages away from the other partner or family member in need of special care of a relative. Teachers who work under this circumstances complain about online forms, and teacher unions ask governmental agencies to reconsider their priorities. Both teacher unions and teachers argue that this system of reappointment causes them to be exhausted and feel unhappy. This study, it is aimed to understand if commuting time is related to teachers' job satisfaction together with their motivation, gender, seniority, compulsory duty, and marital status. Results indicated that extrinsic motivation, commuting time & gender are significant predictors of job satisfaction. The findings of the study were discussed & possible suggestions are given according to the results.

In the study, the aim is to determine the effects of the application of first aid training lessons on sports injuries. The group of the study was determined by the simple random sampling method included in the random sampling technique and consists of 20 physical education teachers who are still on duty in the 2020-2021 academic year. All of the physical education teachers are experienced teachers who have taken first aid lessons in undergraduate education. Vignette technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. With the technique in question, teachers were asked to express their opinions following the first aid scenarios. The interviews were made over the phone and recorded with the consent of the participants. Content analysis was used in the study, and the validity and reliability of the data were provided. The opinions received from the participants were examined and themes were created by the content analysis and given with direct quotations. The opinions of the participants were interpreted by comparing with the findings of the experts in the field in accordance with the vignette technique. According to the results of the study, it was determined that physical education teachers gave similar answers to expert opinions about all scenarios. However, the accuracy rates of these answers vary with the scenarios. Therefore, it was determined that teachers' first aid knowledge varies, in some cases, they behave closely to expert opinions, and in some others, they move away from expert opinions. It has been observed that this situation resembles similar studies in the literature. When the mentioned results are compared with the literature; it is recommended that first aid training be sustainable and implementation techniques are continuously improved.

The aim of this research is to examine the effects of the coaches' emotional labor behavior on emotional burnout and turnover intention. The research group consists of 201 coaches actively working in various sports centers in Ankara province. Personal information form consisting of demographic questions, "Emotional Labor Scale", "Burnout Scale" and "Turnover Intention Scale" were used as data collection tools. In the research, after the normality test; Spearman Correlation and Multiple Regression analysis were performed on the data. The demographic information of the group participating in the study is given as a percentage table. According to the findings, as the knowledge and skill of the coach increases, emotional burnout, surface acting and turnover intention show decrease. At the same time, the increase of Professional success of the coaches causes emotional burnout, desensitization, surface acting and the turnover intention. It has been observed that the role of coaches, whose professional achievements have increased, has increased natural acting levels, but it has been determined that the role of deep acting has no effect on the turnover intention. As a conclusion, it was observed that burnout and turnover intention may decrease as the level of knowledge and skill increases in coaches. In addition, it was determined that surface acting behavior was not preferred by experienced coaches and mostly natural emotions were used.

The aim of this research is to determine the causes of redundant purchasing behavior of university students and the effects of social media usage on redundant purchasing behavior. Quantitative research method is used in the research and relational screening model is preferred. "Social media addiction" and "sustainable consumption behavior scale" were used in the research. The research group consists of 221 men and 181 women in total, 402 students who studying at Ankara University Faculty of Sport Sciences. In the research, the pre-control of the data was provided and the distribution of normality was examined primarily. From the parametric tests to the data that appear to provide normal distribution; t-Test, One-Way Anova and Correlation tests were applied. According to the findings, it was found that women had a high redundant purchase behavior compared to men. It has been determined that the use of credit cards increases redundant purchases in students and affects daily life. It was observed that unrestrained shopping perception is high among students who are not licensed athletes. As the high income students' redundant purchasing behavior is high, as the time spent on social media increases, social media addiction and redundant purchasing behavior also increase. As a conclusion, it is observed that consumption behaviors are closely related to social media addiction and sustainable consumption behaviors. The suggestions of the findings obtained were tried to be given in the research, including future research.

Aim:Primary care physicians need to be aware of the types of traditional and complementary medicine (TCM) used by patients to be able to guide patients away from harmful approaches and to aim them toward useful or at least seeming benign approaches. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of the usage of TCM methods in Turkey and the level of knowledge and attitudes of applicants about these methods.Methods:The universe of this cross-sectional study consisted of individuals aged 18 and over who applied to the Family Health Centers and agreed to participate in the study in 12 provinces in different regions of Turkey between July and December 2016. The questionnaires were applied to the volunteer participants by the researchers using face-to-face interview techniques. The questionnaire had 25 questions.Results:80.6% of the participants benefited from TCM, and 86.4% stated they believed in the effectiveness of TCM. Women, university graduates of college who had private insurance used TCM (respectively; p=0.031; p=0.004; p=0.000), and women (83.3%) found TCM more useful than men (p=0.005). The most frequent reason for using TCM was “heard that it was useful”.Conclusion:The results of our study indicated that a large portion of Turkish primary care patients use TCM and recommend it to their relatives. Therefore, health policies and academic knowledge should be developed in this sense.

ABSTRACT Objective: This study aimed to investigate the frequency of sexual dysfunction and the effect of short-term testosterone replacement therapy on sexual functions in congenital hypogonadism patients. Furthermore, we sought to reveal the consistency of the self-report scales used for the diagnosis of sexual dysfunction and the relationship between biochemical parameters. Materials and methods: The study was conducted on 47 young male patients aged above 18 years who were diagnosed with hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. Short (IIEF-5) and long (IIEF-15) forms of the International Index of Erectile Function and Arizona Sexual Experiences Scale (ASEX) were applied before treatment under the supervision of a physician. The patients’ blood pressure, height, and weight were measured, and their luteinizing hormone (LH), FSH, and total testosterone levels were recorded. Patients who started their treatments were called for a follow-up checkup after 6 months. Their blood pressure, height, and weight were measured by reapplying the ASEX, IIEF-5, and IIEF-15. In addition, their LH, FSH, and total testosterone levels in the biochemical tests were rerecorded. Results: In this study, the sexual dysfunction status of patients diagnosed with hypogonadotropic hypogonadism before and after treatment was evaluated using the ASEX, IIEF-15, and IIEF-5 scales. A decrease in sexual dysfunction was observed in all three scales after treatment compared with that before treatment. The IIEF-5 and IIEF-15 scales were found to be uncorrelated in terms of the pretreatment values but were correlated in terms of the post-treatment values. Although a correlation was observed between ASEX and IIEF-5 before treatment, no correlation was detected between ASEX and IIEF-15. After the treatment, ASEX was found to be correlated with both IIEF-5 and IIEF-15. The results of the scales indicated the correlation in all categories, except the pretreatment results of the IIEF-15 scale. Conclusion: The results of the current study demonstrated a significant improvement in the sexual function of hypogonadism patients undergoing short-term testosterone therapy. The ASEX, IIEF-5, and IIEF-15 scales used in the diagnosis and follow-up of sexual dysfunction were useful for evaluating sexual functions in hypogonadotropic hypogonadism patients.

Purpose: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common and fatal malignancies in humans, still leading to serious morbidity and mortality. We here aimed to investigate the effects of flavonoid apigenin, which is considered to have anti-tumoral activity on CRC with high epidemiological prevalence, on cell proliferation and cell survivals, and the positive and negative dose-dependent effects of genetic or mutational alterations in SWH pathway components on HT29 CRC cell lines. Methods: Human colon cancer cell lines HT-29 were commercially available. In each flask, 5 groups were formed, each of which consists of 5,000 cells for different dose groups and the cells were plated. After a 24 and 48 h incubation period, cytotoxicity values were measured by MTT assay and gene expression was assessed by real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analysis method. Results: Application of 12.5 and 25 nM of apigenin significantly increased cell death in HT29 cell lines. LATS1, STK3 and TP53 gene expression decreased in the same dose groups compared to control and other groups. Conclusion: It has been concluded that TP53 gene is strongly correlated with LATS1 and STK3 genes among the SWH pathway factors in the progression of CRC and could be used as an important marker for early detection of malignant transmission. In addition, it may be effective in CRC cases especially when 25 nM of apigenin applies for therapeutic purpose.

Abstract Objective: Our goal was to compare the operative and postoperative effects of del Nido cardioplegia (DN group) and blood cardioplegia (BC group) performed in cardiac surgery. Methods: A total of 83 patients were included, separated into DN group and BC group. The operative and postoperative effects of the two groups were compared for the first 24 hours until extubation. The operative and postoperative complete blood count (CBC), biochemical values and clinical parameters were compared. Results: The first control activated clotting time (ACT) levels in DN group patients were lower (P=0.003) during the operation. The amount of cardioplegia in DN group were lower than that in BC group (P=0.001). The pump outflow and postoperative lactate level of DN group were lower than those of BC group (P=0.005, P=0.018, respectively), as well as the amounts of NaHCO3 (P=0.006) and KCl (P=0.001) used during the operation. The same occurred with the first monocytes (Mo) and mean corpuscular volume (MCV) levels in the postoperative intensive care unit (P=0.006, P=0.002). However, the first glucose level and the eosinophil (Eo) level were higher in DN group (P=0.011, P=0.047, respectively). Conclusion: In the operative evaluation, the amount of cardioplegia, the first ACT levels, the pump outflow lactate level and the amounts of NaHCO3 and KCl in DN group were lower. In postoperative evaluation, measured level of lactate, Mo and MCV in DN group were all lower; their glucose and Eo levels were higher.

Background and Objectives: The risk of autonomic dysfunction with COVID-19 vaccines used worldwide in the COVID-19 pandemic remains a topic of debate. Heart rate variability has a number of parameters that can be used to assess autonomic nervous system dynamics. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of a COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech) on heart rate variability and autonomic nervous system parameters, and the duration of the effect. Materials and Methods: A total of 75 healthy individuals who visited an outpatient clinic to receive the COVID-19 vaccination were included in this prospective observational study. Heart rate variability parameters were measured before vaccination and on days 2 and 10 after vaccination. SDNN, rMSSD and pNN50 values were evaluated for time series analyses, and LF, HF, and LF/HV values for frequency-dependent analyses. Results: The SDNN and rMSDD values declined significantly on day 2 after vaccination, while the pNN50 and LF/HF values increased significantly on day 10. The values at pre-vaccination and at day 10 were comparable. The pNN50 and LF/HF values declined significantly on day 2 and increased significantly on day 10. The values at pre-vaccination and at day 10 were comparable. Conclusions: This study showed that the decline in HRV observed with COVID-19 vaccination was temporary, and that the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination did not cause permanent autonomic dysfunction.

ABSTRACT BACKGROUND: The 2017 American College of Cardiology (ACC)/American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines on hypertension management recommend new stage 1 hypertension thresholds (130-139/80-89 mmHg) for starting antihypertensive treatment. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the impact of the 2017 ACC/AHA guidelines on patients’ diagnoses within daily practice, in comparison with management using the 2018 European hypertension guidelines, regarding the new thresholds. DESIGN AND SETTING: Cross-sectional study conducted in a hypertension outpatient clinic at a tertiary-level public hospital. METHODS: The diagnosis of hypertension was defined separately using each guideline. The participants were patients who were attending the hypertension clinic, who were evaluated using the thresholds of two guidelines, based on cardiovascular risk factors, including age, gender, smoking status, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, obesity, osteoporosis, chronic renal failure and family history of hypertension. RESULTS: After adapting the guidelines to the blood pressure values of our sample, 74.5% (n = 277) of the patients were diagnosed as hypertensive according to the blood pressure classification of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) guidelines published in 2018, while 91.1% (n = 339) of the patients were hypertensive according to the new 2017 ACC/AHA guidelines. Multivariate regression analysis revealed that the significant demographic and cardiovascular risk factors associated with hypertension, based on the 2018 European Society of Hypertension (ESH)/ESC guidelines, were age (odds ratio, OR: 1.027; 95% confidence interval, CI: 1.001-1.054; P = 0.042), obesity (OR: 4.534; 95% CI: 1.830-11.237; P = 0.001) and family history of hypertension (OR: 2.199; 95% CI: 1.252-3.862; P = 0.006). CONCLUSIONS: The factors associated with the definition of hypertension may vary through changing the threshold values.

Abstract Background: Majority of the incidentally discovered adrenal masses, called adrenal incidentaloma (AI), are nonfunctioning adrenal adenomas. The appropriate management of AI is still a matter debate, so it is necessary to investigate their associated morbidity. However, data regarding morphological and functional cardiac alterations are limited in this group. Objective: In this study, we aimed to assess cardiac structural and functional characteristics and atrial conduction properties in patients with nonfunctioning AI. Methods: Thirty patients with nonfunctioning AI and 46 properly matched control subjects were included in the study. After hormonal and biochemical analysis, all participants underwent transthoracic echocardiography to obtain systolic and diastolic parameters of both ventricles, in addition to atrial conduction times by tissue Doppler echocardiography. Data were analyzed with Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS, Chicago, IL, United States) statistics, version 17.0 for Windows. P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: Left ventricular (LV) mass index and LV myocardial performance index were significantly increased in AI group. Among atrial conduction times, both intra- and interatrial electromechanical delays were significantly prolonged in patients with nonfunctioning AI. Other laboratory and echocardiographic findings were similar between groups. Conclusion: Our study revealed that intra- and inter-atrial conduction times were prolonged, and LV mass index was increased in patients with nonfunctioning AI. These findings may be markers of subclinical cardiac involvement and tendency to cardiovascular complications. Close follow-up is necessary for individuals with nonfunctioning AI for their increased cardiovascular risk.

This study aims to analyze the molecular orbital parameters of flaxseed oil (linum usitatissimum) and to measure the AC breakdown voltages at different electrode gaps with various rate of rises. AC breakdown voltages of flaxseed oil are measured at 1.0 and 2.5 mm electrode settings with 0.5 kV/s, 2.0 kV/s and 3.0 kV/s rate of rises, adhering to IEC and IEEE standards. UV-VIS (Ultraviolet–Visible) and FT-IR (Fourier Transform-Infrared) measurement tests carried out after breakdown voltage measurements reveals that the molecular structure of the oil remains stable against electrical discharges. The compounds of flaxseed oil are analyzed using GC-MS and it is determined that the oil mainly consists of seven triglycerides in accordance with the literature. In order to better understand the electrical behavior of these triglycerides, molecular orbital properties such as ionization potential, electron affinity and electron energy gap are analyzed employing Density Functional Theory (DFT) using B3LYP/6-311 + G(d,p) and B3PW91/6-311 + G(d,p) basis sets. The advantages of flaxseed oil such as AC dielectric strength, stability against breakdown mechanism, homogeneous molecular electrical characteristics of its compounds and antioxidant content make this oil as one of the potential natural ester alternatives to mineral oils in the power system industry.
