The article focuses on the cross-institutional partnership between librarians from the Kern High School District (KHSD) and Bakersfield College (BC) in California, wherein they guide teachers to determine information literacy skills necessary for college success of students. It discusses the college library survival skills project. It also mentions that improving evaluation strategies to determine growth in information literacy is another focus for future activity of KHSD and BC library staff.
