Darba gaitā sintezēti NaLaF4:Er3+;Nd3+ paraugi ar dažādām retzemju elementu Er3+ un Nd3+ koncentrācijām. Paraugiem, tos ierosinot redzamā spektra apgabalā, tika izmērīti ierosmes un fotoluminiscences spektri un kinētikas. Ir konstatēts, ka ierosinot paraugu, kurā ir gan Nd3+, gan Er3+ piejaukumi, Nd3+ raksturīgajās joslās, fotoluminiscences spektrā parādās arī Er3+ luminiscence. Aplūkojot kinētikas ir secināts, ka notiek enerģijas pārdeve no Nd3+ uz Er3+, pie tam Er3+ zaļās un sarkanā josla saņem enerģiju dažādos veidos. Papildus ir apskatīti fotoluminiscences procesi Nd3+ jonos. Apkopojot rezultātus, tika izdarīti secinājumi par fotoluminiscenci un enerģijas pārdevi ar Er3+ un Nd3+ joniem aktivēta NaLaF4 materiālā. It has been found that when samples containing Nd3+ and Er3+ impurities are excited in specific Nd3+ bands not only Nd3+ but also Er3+ luminescence peaks appear. The studies of the decay kinetics show that there is an energy transfer from Nd3+ to Er3+, moreover green and red bands of Er3+ are realized in different ways. In addition, photoluminescence processes in Nd3+ ions are investigated. Summarizing the results, the photoluminescence and energy transfer of NaLaF4:Er3+;Nd3+ material are discussed. Darba gaitā sintezēti NaLaF4:Er3+;Yb3+ paraugi ar Er3+ koncentrāciju 0.5 mol% un Yb3+ koncentrācijām: 0.0 mol%, 0.5 mol% un 2.0 mol%. Paraugiem, tos ierosinot ar starojumu infrasarkanajā spektra apgabalā, tika izmērīti augšup-pārveidotās (AP) luminiscences spektri un luminiscences kinētikas. AP luminiscences spektros ir redzamas tipiskas Er3+ luminiscences joslas. Ir konstatēts, ka, pieaugot Yb3+ koncentrācijai paraugā, būtiski pieaug AP luminiscences intensitāte, savukārt no kinētiku pētījumiem kļuva skaidrs, ka, pieaugot Yb3+ daudzumam paraugos, AP luminiscences mehānismi mainās no ierosinātā stāvokļa absorbcijas un enerģijas pārneses starp Er3+ joniem uz enerģijas pārnesi starp Yb3+-Er3+ joniem. Apkopojot rezultātus, tika izdarīti secinājumi par Yb3+ koncentrācijas ietekmi uz ar Er3+ un Yb3+ aktivēta NaLaF4 materiāla optiskajām īpašībām., In this work NaLaF4:Er3+;Yb3+ samples with 0.5 mol% Er3+ and different Yb3+ concentrations: 0.0 mol%, 0.5 mol% and 2.0 mol%. Up – conversion (UC) luminescence and luminescence kinetics excited in the infrared spectral region were measured. The UC spectra showed presence of luminescence bands typical for Er3+. The measured intensity of the UC luminescence was considerably higher for the samples with higher Yb3+ content. The studies on the decay kinetics of the UC luminescence for the samples at higher Yb3+ concentration showed pronounced dominance of energy transfer mechanism between Yb3+-Er3+ ions over excited state absorption and energy transfer mechanism between Er3+ ions. Based on the experimental results the impact of Yb3+ concentration on the optical properties of NaLaF4:Er3+; Yb3+ is discussed.

Luminiscējoši materiāli tiek plaši pielietoti gan ikdienišķiem, gan zinātniskiem mērķiem. Pēdējos gados pieaugusi interese par sarkaniem un infrasarkaniem ilgspīdētājiem īpaši tādēļ, ka tiem ir potenciāli pielietojumi medicīnā. Šajā darbā pētīta sarkanā un infrasarkanā luminiscence MgGeO3:Mn2+, Cr3+ materiālā. Darba gaitā paraugiem uzņemti ierosmes, fotoluminiscences, rentgenluminiscences un pēcspīdēšanas spektri, mērīta dzišanas kinētika un veikti termostimulētās luminiscences mērījumi. MgGeO3:Mn2+, Cr3+ materiālam raksturīga luminiscence platā spektra joslā no 600 līdz 1000 nm un novērojama efektīva pēcspīdēšana, kuru nodrošina ķērājcentri ar dziļumu 1.18 -1.36 eV. Balstoties uz iegūtajiem rezultātiem, veikti secinājumi par MgGeO3:Mn2+, Cr3+ materiāla luminiscences īpašībām un pēcspīdēšanas gaitā notiekošajiem procesiem., Luminescent materials are widely used for domestic and scientifical purposes. In recent years red and infrared persistent luminescence has been studied for applications in medicine. During this research red and infrared luminescence of MgGeO3: Mn2+, Cr3+ material was investigated. During this research the excitation, photoluminescence, x-ray luminescence and afterglow spectra were taken, the decay kinetics and thermal stimulated luminescence were measured. MgGeO3: Mn2+, Cr3+ material shows luminescence in broad spectral range from 600 to 1000 nm and exhibit intense afterglow which is provided by charge traps with depth about 1.18 – 1.36 eV. Based on obtained results conclusions about MgGeO3: Mn2+, Cr3+ material luminescence properties and afterglow mechanisms has been drawn.

Darba gaitā tika sintezēti 10 dažādi MgGeO3:Mn2+ paraugi ar atšķirīgām divvērtīga mangāna jonu koncentrācijām: 0 mol%, 0.1 mol%, 0.25mol%, 0.5 mol%, 0.75 mol%, 1 mol%, 1.5 mol%, 2 mol%, 5 mol% un 10 mol%. Paraugiem novērojam luminiscence sarkanajā un infrasarkanajā spektra daļā, un tos iespējams ierosināt ar ultravioleto starojumu un rentgena starojumu. Ierosinot paraugus ar rentgena starojumu, detektējama pēcspīdēšana ilgāk par 10 stundām. Paraugiem mērīta rentgenstaru difrakcija, elektronu paramagnētiskā rezonanse, ierosmes spektri, luminiscences spektri, pēcspīdēšanas spektri, dzišanas kinētikas un termostimulētā luminiscence. Balstoties uz iegūtajiem rezultātiem, tika spriests par MgGeO3:Mn2+ materiālā notiekošajiem luminiscences procesiem un Mn2+ jonu koncentrācijas ietekmi uz tiem., In the course of this study MgGeO3:Mn2+ samples with Mn2+ concentration of 0 mol%, 0.1 mol%, 0.25 mol%, 0.5 mol%, 0.75 mol%, 1 mol%, 1.5 mol%, 2 mol%, 5 mol% and 10 mol% were prepared. Samples excited by UV and X-rays exhibit intense red and infrared luminescence. After excitation by X-ray radiation samples continue to glow longer than 10 hours. During the research the X-ray diffraction, electron paramagnetic resonance, excitation, luminescene emission and the decay kinetics and afterglow were measured and thermally stimulated luminescence spectra were taken. Based on obtained results, conclusions about luminescence process and role of concentration of Mn2+ in the MgGeO3:Mn2+ material has been drawn.

Darba gaitā sintezēti SiO2*Al2O3*ZnF2*SrF2*ErF3 paraugi ar Er3+ koncentrāciju 1mol% un 2mol%. Sintezēto paraugus pakļāva kontrolētai kristalizācijai pie 600, 625, 650, 700 un 725 C°. Paraugiem, tos ierosinot ar starojumu infrasarkanajā spektra apgabalā, tika izmērīti augšup-pārveidotas (AP) luminiscences un ierosmes spektri un luminiscences kinētikas. AP luminiscences spektros ir redzamas tipiskas Er3+ luminiscences joslas. Stiklam un stikla keramikai tika veikta rentgenstaru difrakcijas analīze. Diferenciāli termiskā analīze tika izmērīta 1mol% stikla keramikai. Pēc rezultātu analīzes, tika izdarīti secinājumi par Er3+ koncentrācijas ietekmi un kontrolētas kristalizācijas temperatūras ietekmi SiO2*Al2O3*ZnF2*SrF2*ErF3 materiāla optiskajam īpašībām., In this work, SiO2*Al2O3*ZnF2*SrF2*ErF3 samples were sintesized with 1mol% and 2mol% Er3+ concentration. Samples went through controled crystalization with 600,625,650,700 and 725°C. Up-conversion luminescence and exication spectra and luminescence kinetics with excited in infrared region of spectrum were measured. Tipical Er3+ luminescence bands are seen in upconversion luminescence spectra. X-ray difraction analysis was done for glass and glass ceramic. Diferential thermal analysis for 1mol% glass ceramic was measured. After analyzing results, conclusions were reached about Er3+ concentration and crystalization temperature impact on SiO2*Al2O3*ZnF2*SrF2*ErF3 material optical properties.
