Bu çalışma, grafen nanoparçacıkların (GnPs) cam, aramid, bazalt ve karbon fiber takviyeli hibrit / hibrit olmayan kompozitlerin mekanik (gerilme ve eğilme) ve düşük hız etkisi (LVI) özellikleri üzerindeki etkilerini araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Farklı GnPs ağırlık muhtevasında (ağırlıkça %0, 0.1, 0.25 ve 0.5) GnP parçacıkları ile epoksi karışımı yüksek hızlı mekanik karıştırıcı vasıtasıyla karıştırıldı ve farklı tabaka dizilimleri için elyaf kumaşlara GnP katılmış reçine karışımı uygulandı. El yatırması ve vakum destekli el yatırması yöntemi kullanılarak kompozit plakaların üretimleri gerçekleştirildi. Darbe testleri, 30J darbe enerjisi için bir ağırlık düşürmeli darbe makinesi kullanılarak yapıldı ve yük / yer değiştirme/ zaman diyagramları oluşturuldu ve incelendi. Düşük hızlı darbe testlerinden sonra kompozit numunelerin hasar özellikleri karakterize edildi ve GnP ağırlık oranlarına göre karşılaştırıldı. Bu şekilde, GnP'lerin modifikasyonu ve cam / aramid, cam / bazalt, cam / karbon fiber hibridizasyonunun birleşik etkileri ayrıntılı olarak incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlar, GnP partiküllerinin belirli konsantrasyonlarda dahil edilmesinin, fiber takviyeli hibrit / hibrit olmayan kompozitlerin darbe direncini ve mekanik özelliklerini önemli ölçüde etkilediğini gösterdi. Bununla birlikte, epoksi reçinesi içine aşırı GnPs partikül ilavesi, partikülden matris reçineye yük transferini azaltan partikül topaklanmasının bir sonucu olarak mekanik ve darbe özelliklerinde bir azalmaya neden olmuştur. A high speed of mechanical stirrer was used for mixing of epoxy with GnPs particles at different GnPs weight contents (0, 0.1, 0.25, and 0.5 wt %), and the mixture of the GnPs enriched resin was applied to the fiber fabrics for different lay-up conditions by using the hand-layup and vacuum assisted hand lay-up method. Impact tests were performed by using a drop weight impact machine at the impact energy of 30J, and load to time/displacement history responses were evaluated and reported. Damage characteristics of the composite samples after the low-velocity impact tests were characterized and compared according to GnPs contents. In this way, the combined effects of GnPs loading and glass/aramid, glass/basalt, glass/carbon fiber hybridizations were investigated in detail. Results showed from this study that incorporation of GnPs particles at the certain concentrations significantly affected the impact resistance and mechanical properties of fiber reinforced hybrid/non-hybrid composites. However, excessive GnPs particle addition into the epoxy resin caused a reduction in mechanical and impact properties as a result of particle agglomeration with reducing load transferring from particle to matrix resin. 145

This study aimed toinvestigate the effect of graphene nanoplatelets (GnPs) on the tensile andflexural properties of fiber reinforced composite material. For this purpose;an experimental study was conducted using composite materials which weremanufactured with [(0/90)6]s glass fiber and epoxy matrixby vacuum assisted resin transfer method. Glass fiber reinforced (GFR) epoxycomposite plates were manufactured with various graphene nanoplatelets contentsuch 0, 0.1, 0.25 and 0.5 wt% inclusion. Maximum tensile and flexural strengthvalues were obtained in 0.1 wt% GnPs filled composites. After this weightcontent, decreasing trend in the strength values was observed. When fracturedspecimens were examined, failure modes were supported the test results also.Higher contents of GnPs were resulted as agglomeration in matrix mixture leadto impurities and stress concentrations, thus lower strength values wereobtained in composite.

Bu tezde, kalın kirişlerin elasto-plastik analizi Noktasal İnterpolasyon Yöntemi (NİY) ve Radyal Noktasal İnterpolasyon Yöntemi (RNİY) ile iki farklı integrasyon yöntemi kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Birincisi integrasyon hücrelerinin kullanıldığı Gauss integrasyon yöntemi, ikincisi ise Taylor serisinin kullanıldığı noktasal integrasyon yöntemidir. Geliştirilen program kullanılarak MATLAB programı üzerinde kaynak kodları hazırlanmıştır. Farklı örnekler hazırlanan kaynak kodları ile çözülmüş. Farklı destek alanı büyüklükleri ve RNİY şekil parametrelerinin çözümler üzerine etkileri incelenmiştir. In this thesis, elasto-plastic analysis of thick beams is presented using Point Interpolation Method (PIM) and Radial Point Interpolation Method (RPIM) using two different integration schemes. In the first one, standard Gauss integration scheme is used using background integration cells. In the second one, however, a nodal integration scheme is used based on Taylor Series. A computer program is developed for these algorithms in MATLAB. Different case studies are solved using developed program and they are tested for various support domain sizes and RPIM shape parameters. Their effects are investigated on the solution accuracy in details. 77

İntegrasyon yapılırken kullanılan terim sayısının, NİY ve RNİY üzerine etkileri araştırılmıştır. Noktasal direngenlik matrisinin elde edilmesi, Timoshenko kiriş teorisine göre gerçekleştirilmiştir. Farklı etki alanı büyüklükleri ve farklı RNİY şekil parametrelerinin çözümler üzerine etkileri ele alınmıştır. Elde edilen çözümler, ANSYS paket programı kullanılarak sonlu elemanlar yöntemiyle kıyaslanmıştır., In this study, the point interpolation method (PIM) and radial point interpolation method (RPIM) are used to compare solutions of elasto-plastic thick beams. In solutions, reduced and higher order nodal integrations based on Taylor series expansion are compared with each other and also other techniques. The effects of number of integration term, support domain sizes and RPIM shape parameters on the convergency are also investigated. Nodal stiffness matrices are obtained using Timoshenko beam theory. In addition, the results are compared with finite element solutions in ANSYS.
