The systematic study of hadronic elliptic flow in various relativistic heavy ion collisions is important for the investigation of the initial geometry influence on the quark gluon plasma characteristics. The φ meson consists of strange and antistrange quarks and has a small interaction cross section with non-strange hadrons. Therefore, φ mesons are barely affected by late hadronic stage and reflect detailed information about hot and dense matter properties. Additionally, the comparison of elliptic flow for φ mesons to those of charged hadrons will provide additional information on the flavor dependence of flow. PHENIX has measured second order azimuthal anisotropy coefficients for φ mesons in Cu+Au collisions at √SNN = 200 GeV and in U+U collisions at √SNN = 193 GeV at midrapidity (| η | < 0.35). The obtained data suggest scaling of elliptic flow for φ mesons with eccentricity of participant nucleons in Cu+Au, U+U, and Au+Au collisions. Viscous hydrodynamic model iEBE-VISHNU provides a simultaneous description of the obtained data.

Existing approaches to assessing the reliability and safe operation of downhole equipment provide for assessing only the direct impact of erosion and corrosion processes on the degradation of the material. At the same time, the influence of downhole equipment operating modes on the intensity of corrosion and erosion processes is not evaluated. The necessity of using inflow control devices is shown. The necessity of selecting inflow control devices for specific operating modes of the well is highlighted in order to avoid increased erosion wear due to increased sand production. In this article, a series of studies was conducted to assess the influence of the hydrodynamic characteristics of the fluid flow, which vary depending on the operating modes of the nozzle-type inflow control device, on corrosion processes in the well. It was shown that the level of wall shear stress (WSS) of the base pipe, immediately after the flow control device in the direction of fluid flow, affects the intensification of corrosion processes in downhole equipment. Studies of WSS on the pipe wall were carried out using a dynamic autoclave and elements of mathematical modeling. The design factors (the angle of inclination of the main hydraulic channel of the inflow control device relative to the base pipe) affecting the change in tangential stresses on the wall of the base pipe were investigated. The mechanism of corrosion wear of the base pipe was revealed.

We present measurements of azimuthal correlations of charged hadron pairs in sNN=200 GeV Au+Au collisions for the trigger and associated particle transverse-momentum ranges of 14GeV/c) correlations is suppressed compared with that of correlations measured in p+p collisions. We present measurements of the elliptic flow (v2) as a function of transverse momentum (pT), pseudorapidity (η), and centrality in d+Au collisions at sNN=200, 62.4, 39, and 19.6 GeV. The beam-energy scan of d+Au collisions provides a testing ground for the onset of flow signatures in small collision systems. We measure a nonzero v2 signal at all four collision energies, which, at midrapidity and low pT, is consistent with predictions from viscous hydrodynamic models. Comparisons with calculations from parton transport models (based on the ampt Monte Carlo generator) show good agreement with the data at midrapidity to forward (d-going) rapidities and low pT. At backward (Au-going) rapidities and pT>1.5GeV/c, the data diverges from ampt calculations of v2 relative to the initial geometry, indicating the possible dominance of nongeometry related correlations, referred to as nonflow. We also present measurements of the charged-particle multiplicity (dNch/dη) as a function of η in central d+Au collisions at the same energies. We find that in d+Au collisions at sNN=200 GeV the v2 scales with dNch/dη over all η in the PHENIX acceptance. At sNN=62.4, and 39 GeV, v2 scales with dNch/dη at midrapidity and forward rapidity, but falls off at backward rapidity. This departure from the dNch/dη scaling may be a further indication of nonflow effects dominating at backward rapidity.

The fraction of J/ψ mesons which come from B-meson decay, FB→J/ψ, is measured for J/ψ rapidity 1.20 in p+p and Cu+Au collisions at sNN = 200 GeV with the PHENIX detector. The extracted fraction is FB→J/ψ=0.025±0.006 (stat) ± 0.010(syst) for p+p collisions. For Cu+Au collisions, FB→J/ψ is 0.094 ± 0.028(stat) ± 0.037(syst) in the Au-going direction (-2.2

Silicon dioxide layers are widely used for imparting the required optical properties to the multilayer displays' coatings, as well as for electrical insulation and passivation of the LEDs active structure. The oxide film being formed should be dense and conformally fill the developed LED structure surface, at the same time there are often limits on the maximum operating temperature of the deposition process. It is possible to ensure the implementation of all these requirements by using the method of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) in high-density plasma (HDP CVD). This method reveals the advantages of CVD methods over the PVD (physical vapor deposition) methods in the fullest measure. The experimental results on the silicon dioxide films formation on glass and silicon substrates by HDPCVD method are presented in this work. The dependence of the film refractive index and its structural characteristics change on the technical process characteristics are represented here.

The paper describes an approach to measure energy consumption of programmable components (MCU, FPGA etc.) which are a core of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Investigation of energy consumption dependence from a type of programmable components as well as from features of software gives a road map for implementation of energy efficiency measures to make PLCs “greener”. Special toolset named GreenCo Controller has been designed, implemented and tested for the above research. A designed architecture includes the following components: a commercially available motherboard (Arduino UNO) programmed with software to perform data processing in respect to energy consumption measurement of the target board-shield (GreenCo board); GreenCo board on the base of Microchip dsPIC30F3011 MCU programmed with different type of application software as a subject of energy consumption investigation; a software monitor for PC desktop using named GreenCo Controller GUI. “Green” features of PLC are analyzed after that formal optimization problems in accordance with criterion “energy consumption level/safety level” have been stated. Such problems can be solved with dynamic programming method. Concept and design of GreenCo Controller are described. Areas of future researches with GreenCo Controller are proposed as a conclusion.

Date of Conference: 19-21 April 2016 The paper consider oxygen contamination of HCPA ALD grown GaN films under an air conditioning and during different time duration. High resolution XPS analysis of HCPA ALD grown GaN films after diluted 1:10 HF(41 %) : H2O and undiluted HF (41 %) influence on oxygen impurities was investigated. Lesser oxygen impurities have been observed. Better resistivity to oxygen atoms of GaN thin films after diluted HF solution treatment was achieved compared to undiluted HF treatment and without treatment.

The PHENIX experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider has measured φ meson production and its nuclear modification in asymmetric Cu + Au heavy

The purpose of the study is to analyze the efficiency of using associated petroleum gas (APG) and to identify the main problems, prospects and ways to increase the efficiency of its use. The article presents the results of studying the current state policy and national interests in the field of its rational use. The authors carried out an analysis of the current state of the oil and gas market at the international and regional level, as a result of which the main spectrum of problems of APG effective use was identified. A scheme was proposed which regulates the interaction between the APG market participants and is aimed at increasing the level of APG beneficial use in Russia. The authors’ research will make it possible to determine that the most significant factors that ensure a high level of APG flaring in Russia are as follows: the shortage of APG processing capacity, the restriction of oil companies’ access to the Unified Gas Supply System, the gaps in the current legal and regulatory framework, the absence of a single mechanism for the selection of projects on utilizing APG in a particular field/group of fields, as well as pricing in the oil and gas market. The findings are of practical value for scholars in the field of technology management, and for large industrial complexes.

The relevance of the study stems from the need to find efficient project solutions for the development of energy systems based on alternative energy sources. For this task, it is necessary to identify trends in energy saving, availability of energy sources, constraints and risks associated with them, as well as to outline principles ensuring accurate account of all the factors determining the efficiency of energy systems in modern conditions. This article presents findings of the authors’ research on theoretical and practical issues of project management related to the creation of energy systems using renewable energy sources. The article considers methodological provisions that set approaches to the evaluation of the efficiency of energy systems projects. Besides, it proposes a model for estimating economic efficiency which takes into account specifics of prospects of a particular primary energy source. The authors studied renewable energy sources and determined the factors that are and will be important for their future use. The materials presented in this article are of practical value to scientists engaged in the assessment of the cost-effectiveness of projects for energy systems creation, as well as to large industrial complexes.
