Antropometrik ölçüler ulus, bölge, cinsiyet, yaş, vücut yapısı, beslenme, fiziksel faaliyet ve hatta ekonomik ve sosyal statüye göre değişiklik göstermektedir. İnsanların bulundukları ortamdaki rahatları, fiziksel sağlığı, refahı ve performansı, kullandıkları araç-gereç ve donanımın insan vücudunun ilgili organ ve özelliklerine uygun olarak tasarlanmaları ile sağlanabilir. Bu durum özellikle, zamanlarının çoğunu sandalye ve masalarında geçiren ve konforlu bir şekilde duruş pozisyonu alabilen okul öğrencileri için geçerlidir. Bu çalışmada ülkemiz öğrencilerinin antropometrik ölçümleri yapılarak, buna göre okul mobilyalarının tasarlanması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamına, Zonguldak Karaelmas Üniversitesi Bartın Orman Fakültesinde halen eğitim öğretime devam eden ve fiziksel özrü bulunmayan, 45’i kız ve 138’i erkek olmak üzere toplam 187 öğrenci alınmıştır. Bu kapsamda, öğrencilerin antropometrik ölçümleri yapılmış, yüzdelik (percentile) değerleri ortaya konmuş ve ülkemiz öğrencilerine uygun okul mobilya tasarım boyutları ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Yapılan araştırma sonucu okul mobilyaları tasarımında, oturağın yerden yüksekliği 44 cm, masanın yerden yüksekliği 60 cm olarak bulunmuştur., Anthropometric measurements vary according to the nationality, region, gender, age, body structure, nutrition, physical activity and even economic and social status. The comfort, physical health, well-being and performance of people can be increased by designing the equipment, goods, furniture etc. according to the human body and organs. This is important especially for students, who spend most of their time sitting on the chairs, benches and stools. In this study, anthropometric measurements of the students in Turkey were made and it was aimed to design school furniture according to these measurements. For this study, 187 university students (45 female, 138 male) who attend to Zonguldak Karaelmas University, Bartın Faculty of Forestry and who don’t have any physical disabilities were chosen. Then, anthropometric measurements of the students were made, percentage values were found and the ideal dimensions and design of the school furniture for Turkish universities were determined. As a result of the study, the following values were recommended ; the ideal height of the bench should be 44 cm., the ideal height of the desk should be 76 cm, and the ideal height of the drawer of the desk should be 60 cm.

Teknolojideki gelişmeler iş hayatındaki güvenlik yönetiminin önemini artırmıştır. Bu gelişmeler, iş sisteminde insana daha fazla değer vermeyi ve daha fazla yatırımı gerekli kılmıştır. Burada karşımıza şu problem çıkmıştır: Acaba insanların maruz kalabilecekleri kazaları önceden tahmin edip, alınacak tedbirler ile bu kazaları önlemek mümkün müdür? Yapılan bu çalışmada, üretim sistemlerindeki işletmelerin önündeki dönemler bazında atölyelerinde meydana gelebilecek olası iş kazalarının önceden tahmini için bir erken uyarı modeli geliştirilmiştir. Önerilen modelin geçerliliği üretim endüstrisindeki bir işletmede uygulanarak ispatlanmıştır. Developments in technology increased the importance of safety management in industry. These improvements also resulted in a requirement of more investment and assignment on human in work systems. Here we face this problem: Can we make it possible to forecast the possible accidents that workers can face, and prevent these accidents by taking necessary precautions? In this study made; a prognostic model been developed to forecast the occupational accidents in coming periods at the departments of the facilities in hazardous work systems. The validity of the proposed model has been proved by implementing it into practice in hazardous work systems in manufacturing industry. 117

öz îş hayatında maliyetlerin düşürülmesi, dolayısıyla verimliliğin arttırılması açısından üretim zamanın önceden tesbit edilmesi ve kısaltılması büyük ehemmiyet taşımaktadır. îş etüdü bu soruna, üretimin standart zamanım hesaplayarak ve mevcut metotların etkinliğini artırarak çözümleme yönünden yaklaşmaktadır. Türkiye' de küçük ölçeklilikten büyük ölçekliliğe geçme aşamasında ki mobilya endüstisinin üretimle ilgili sorunları maliyetleri artırmakta, sonuçta da ekonomikliliğin, kârlılığın ve nihayet verimliliğin düşmesine sebep olmaktadır. Bu itibarla, bu tez çalışmasında `Zaman Etüdünün İncelenmesi ve Mobilya Endüstrisinde Uygulanması` konu olarak seçilmiştir. Birinci bölümde iş etüdü teknikleri incelenmiş, verimliliğe olan katkısına değinilmiş ve zaman etüdünün iş etüdü içindeki yeri tesbit edilmiştir. İkinci bölümde zaman etüdü değerlenebilmiş, zaman standartlarının nasıl bulunduğu aşama aşama incelenerek kullanım alanları hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise Türkiye' deki ahşap mobilya endüstrisinin üretimle ilgili sorunlarına değinilerek, yapılan uygulamalar ile bu sanayi dalı için zaman etüdü tekniğinin uygulanabilirliği gösterilmiştir. ABSTRACT Determination of time and reduction thereof have a great importance in terms of the reduction of the cost in business life accordingly increase of the productivity. The work study approaches to the solution of such problem by calculating the standard time and increasing the effectiveness of the existing production methods. The problems of the furniture industry in the transition stage between the large scale and small scale industry increase the cost and therefore decreases economical reasonability and profitability and hence the productivity. For this reason, `Time Study and Application in Furniture Industry` was chosen as subject in this thesis study. In the first section, information on work study technique was provided and it is contribution to the productivity was studied and the place of the time study within work study was determined. In the second section, the time study was evaluated and information on usage areas was provided after executing a stepwise study researching how the time standards were found. In the third section, on the other hand, the problems of the wooden furniture industry in Turkey was mentioned and the applicability of time study technique was demonstrated for such industry branch. 132
