This paper presents a non-destructive technique (NDT) using active infrared thermography and FEM analyses with Comsol Multiphysics software applied for thermal distribution detection through reinforced concrete. For this work a reinforced concrete slab was created having a parallelepiped shape, the length and the width of 400 mm and the thickness of 50 mm. The concrete slab was reinforced using a rebar mesh of 18 mm diameter. The experimental installation consisted of an electrical heating source and a steel frame for fixing the slab and for the thermal distribution analyses an infrared camera was used. The same type of material and conditions like in the laboratory was used for the FEM analyses in Comsol Multiphysiscs to compare with the experimental part. A concrete slab without steel was used to determine the difference between the simple concrete and reinforced concrete in the heat transfer process.

The paper presents an automated concept of a potato sizing equipment. The technological flow is represented by dimension charts done in the software CATIA v5 r18. The classical technological flows of potato sizing are rigid systems, but modern systems are flexible and have modular construction. Modular construction has the advantage that when a component of the equipment breaks out, it can be moved away and thus not affecting the entire equipment. The role of automation is illustrated by the designing of an original potato sizing machine, based on the real geometrical quotation.

Human activity takes place mostly under control from the visual organ. Approximately 80-90 % of the information is perceived through this organ. In these circumstances, an important role has the appropriate lighting, particularly in the labour process as it prevents strain and fatigue, stimulates the activity of the whole body, accelerates nerve functions, positively influences the ability to work and increases work productivity. The subject of this paper is to assess how artificial light affects our eyesight and how we react to visual stress induced by it.

The researches realized on the biological effects of Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) highlighted that the exposure of the human factor on the electromagnetic radiations of high frequency determines an excessive heating of the tissue causing different burning types. The aim of this paper is to analyze, by comparison, the effect of heating of the facial tissue under the Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) influence provided from two mobile phones with different Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) index. Helping with the thermal maps, it determined the heating level of the human tissue exposed under the EMR generated by the phone during the conversation. The results obtained after the analysis are very useful for the evaluation of the heating level of the facial tissue in function of the SAR absorption index of the phone

The exposure of human tissue at the electromagnetic radiation can lead to the modification of the biological rate of the cell. Taking account the recently researches which indicate the fact that the exposure of the tissue at electromagnetic radiation leads to its heating, in this paper are presented the effects of the electromagnetic radiation produced by the phone cell, on the facial tissue. The main objective of this research is to determine the degree of the facial tissue heating, as an effect of the electromagnetic radiation, as a result of the prolonged phone conversations.

So each appearance (two appearances per year at which we can add supplements) contains a number of papers written by students, masters and doctoral from the faculties from the country or/and abroad. The journal promotes original studies contributing to the progress of knowledge and it is motivated by the need to address issues of theory and practice in the areas mentioned above.The Journal is a training means of the factors involved in the conceptualization, development, implementation and evaluation, aiming the formation of creative personalities who could be able to adapt through the changing conditions of life.Journal wants to be a forum for debates disciplinaries and interdisciplinaries theoretical topics, to become a research support, to leverage this work at regional, national and international levels. —The aerospace industry deals from the beginning with structures with special requirements as extreme lightweight and withstanding to a big number of load cases. Aerodynamics constraints lead to supplementary restrictions, the results being the complex shape to sustain the fuselage, the rotor blades or the wings skin. This paper presents a static structural analysis of the main rotor blade for the light helicopter. To simulate the mechanical behavior of the blade, a finite elements method was used. A case of hovering flight mode was considered.

The exposure of human tissue under the electromagnetic radiation can lead at the modifying of the biological rhythms of the cell. According to the recent researches that indicate that the exposure of the tissue under electromagnetic radiation leads at its heating, some researchers realized different devices for the adsorption of the electromagnetic radiation produced by the mobile phones. In this paper are presented the effects of electromagnetic radiation produced by a mobile phone under the facial tissue in comparison with the effects produced by the same phone that contains a device for the electromagnetic radiation adsorption. The main objectives of this research are the evaluation of the level of facial tissue heating, after the prolonged phone conversation and the comparison with the level of tissue heating due to the electromagnetic radiation produced by a mobile phone with a device of radiation absorption.
