The non-communicable illness of asthma affects people all over the world and has serious negative effects on both children's and adults' health, including high morbidity and, in extreme situations, fatality. One of the major reasons for hospitalization, especially for children under the age of 5, is asthma, whose incidence has grown over the last 20 years. Since they are associated with worse quality of life, restrictions on physical activity, and poor academic achievement, intangible costs are impossible to quantify. The published research that addressed the issues and risk factors associated with asthma prompted the development of the aforementioned review. Online databases such as Pubmed, Cinhal, and Medline were searched, and all relevant studies are also included without regard to language. After that, databases being accessed to allow for a more thorough literature search utilizing key terms and Logic operators to produce articles pertinent to the subject. To reduce the findings to eight manageable articles, these papers were chosen using an inclusion/exclusion criterion. These eight publications were examined, and the findings showed that nutrition, eating habits, air pollution, and plastic bottles all increased the likelihood of developing asthma. Asthma prevalence has increased as a result of these behaviors. In Today’s world, AI has become an essential tool for achieving and creating the unthinkable. It is helping in creating innovative solutions for almost every industry there is. In the wake of this ever-growing demand of computerized intelligence, the analysis of automation by HR (Human Resources) in the form of predictive form can be formulated. As the Human Resource departments is solely responsible for recruiting and bring valuable talent to the industry, it becomes essential that this task is done with maximum efficacy. Through this project, we intend to predict which employee would prefer a job change and which employee would stay in a company and hence, help constitutes as an active research domain is how AI based intelligence can be interpreted and utilized assess the input resources required to put in an employee. The present techniques are in sufficient to deal the current uncertainties caused due to confliction in their nature. In order to work on this, we propose using natural language processing, opinion mining, fuzzy logic and various widely used classifiers namely Random Forest (RF), Cat Boost Classifier, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Naïve Bayes (NB). We also used Mamdani based fuzzy inference system using nine input and out output, for the attrition prediction in a company. In future, this model can be improved further by incorporating more data. In an uncertain situation, data may present in continuous form or discrete form. We have various techniques to deal with continuous data in a realistic situation. However, when data are in discrete form, the existing techniques are inadequate to deal with these situations, and these techniques cannot provide the proper modulation for adequate analysis of the system. In order to provide the proper acceleration to discrete data, we need an appropriate modulation technique that can help us to handle unconditional boundedness on the technique and will operate like the techniques used for continuous data with fractional variables. In this work, we developed an intuitionistic fuzzy fractional knowledge-based expert system using unconditional and qualified fuzzy propositions based on the Z-intuitionistic fuzzy fractional valuation probability density function. In this proposed method, the discrete fractional variables will be converted into intuitionistic fuzzy fractional numbers and then be used in our algorithm. The proposed Z-intuitionistic fuzzy fractional valuation knowledge-based system can easily be applied in the medical field for the diagnosis of diseases in a vague environment due to the ordered-pair characteristics of the Z-intuitionistic fuzzy fractional valuation. In this study, we collected data of dengue patients, which included seven clinical findings: Temperature, sugar, Pulse Rate (PR), age, cough, and Blood Pressure (BP).A numerical example was also carried out to elaborate on the present technique. Cooling systems are important part of our day-to-day life in summer season. In cooling systems, most challenging part is to consume the less energy with longer reliability. A multi-chiller system is analyzed in the present work. In the present problem, a fuzzy logic-based approach is used to evaluate the fuzzy reliability of multi-chiller system. The reliability of a multi-chiller system depends upon the failure with the partial (part) loading ratio (PLR). PLR is taken as fuzzy parameter in this work. The notion of fuzzy set theory has not so far been districted over medical diagnosis. There are some added applications, for example, in image processing, pattern identification, and many medical devices. In this research article, we introduced a new mediative fuzzy ranking technique as the fuzzy extension in decision making. The proposed mediative fuzzy logic-based technique is more relevant and applicable to incomplete and doubtful situations or some contradictions present in the expert knowledge. The value of the contradictory degree for mediative fuzzy sets used in the extension principle is defined. The proposed mediative fuzzy ranking method is easily implemented in the medical field, and the proposed mediative fuzzy extension-based measured technique is useful to medical experts and doctors in many decision-making situations; the entire work is illustrated with numerical examples. Education is the first line defence in the present day world with all its revolutions. Area of knowledge and technology is increasing day by day. Students demand best technology for learning. Technology in teaching and learning (method of teaching) is expanding at a faster rate. The expanding knowledge in many fields have its modifying effect on the curriculum and the advancing technologies with their effect on the instructional media leave no choice to education but to review its practices and to make the major changes necessary for todays world. The main of study is to assess the effectiveness of video assisted teaching on knowledge of antenatal examination. Methodology: In this study a quantitative approach used. pretestposttest design was adopted. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 40 samples Self-administered structured questionnaire was used to collect the demographic variables and to assess knowledge onantenatal examination. Result: Result showed that video assisted teaching on antenatal examination among nursing students (G.N.M interns) was effective to improve the knowledge of the students. In pre test, before the implementation of video assisted teaching the students had below average knowledge (72.5%) and average knowledge (25%), and after the implementation of video assisted teaching, in the post test the students had good knowledge (70%) and excellent and average knowledge (15%) respectively regarding antenatal examination which shows the effectiveness of video assisted teaching. Significant difference was found between the pre and post-test knowledge scores of antenatal examination among nursing students. Conclusion: Result concluded Video assisted teaching brought a significant change in the knowledge of antenatal examination among nursing students, that the significant difference in the pre test knowledge was statistically significant at p<0.01 level of significance in selected socio demographic variables. Several fuzzy approaches have been used for finding the compromise results in the context of “multi-objective transportation problem (MOTP)” with fuzzy parameters. In this work, we have examined a MOTP with “hexagonal fuzzy numbers (HFNs)” as its parameters, i.e., demand, supply and penalties of the problem are mold in HFNs with a new approach developed with the help of a genetic algorithm. Robust ranking is used for the defuzzified value of the hexagonal fuzzy parameters. We have found the BFS (basic feasible solution) of the problem by adopting the zero-point technique. Then the genetic algorithm is used for obtaining the compromising superlative solution by the set of feasible solutions obtained by the zero-point technique of the problem. Wheat is the second most dominant food grain cultivated in India and also a major source of food security for the nation. After the Green Revolution, this crop witnessed remarkable growth. But, in the mid-1990s, doubts about the sustainability of its growth performance started cropping up. Consequently, methods to enhance the production through the best utilization of agricultural inputs were considered and Meditative Fuzzy Logic (MFL) was found to be a suitable method for incorporating agricultural production planning at crop level. Meditative Fuzzy Logic deals with inconsistent information; wherever a contradiction exists. Herein, MFL is used to construct an appropriate production planning technique to suggest increase in the productivity in wheat farming, by including eight input factors for five major states. The results clearly reveal that if agricultural inputs are used according to MFL technique, then output (productivity) of wheat crop will be much better as compared to existing productivity. The aim of present study is to clean the dye contaminated wastewater in an efficient and environmentally affordable manner using coal fly ash, a waste by-product of thermal power plant. Initially, the low densities, inert and hollow cenospheres were segregated from coal fly ash which are blended with chitosan in 3:10 stoichiometric ratio via glutaraldehyde cross-linking to prepare chitosan-cenospheres nanosyntactic foam. Further, batch adsorption studies were performed to achieve amplified removal of Disperse Orange 25 and Disperse Blue 79:1 dyes from wastewater with respect to various operational parameters such as pH, adsorbent dose, dye concentration, agitation speed, contact time and temperature. Maximum removal of 90% in case of Disperse Orange 25 and 87% in case of Disperse Blue 79:1 dye were obtained at an optimized nanosyntactic foam dose of 0.2 g/L at pH 6 with agitation speed of 200 rpm at 40 mg/L dye concentrations. Interestingly, the high adsorption capacity of chitosan-cenospheres nanosyntactic foam (∼500.0 mg/g) at 45 °C establishes the superiority of the aforementioned technique compared to works reported earlier for dyes removal. Furthermore, isotherm and kinetic studies along with thermodynamic parameters substantiated that spontaneous and exothermic monolayer adsorption of the dyes occur onto chitosan-cenospheres nanosyntactic foam following pseudo second order reaction kinetics. Reusability of chitosan-cenospheres nanosyntactic foam for four successive runs were carried out to ensure sustainable use of this adsorptive technique. In this research work, a soft computing optimization operating approach is developed for a multi-objective aspirational level fractional transportation problem. In the proposed technique, a mathematical model is formulated for the multi-objective aspirational level fractional transportation problem (MOFTP) based on the highest value of one and all objectives of the model. We also used the symmetry concept over our model to identify the best optimum solution based on symmetrical data. We constructed the membership grades for the set of fetched parameters having symmetry. In this work, we also used the concept of ranking function in our mathematical model to obtain the optimum solution of the fuzzy multi-objective fractional transportation. In this proposed algorithm, the aspiration levels are also associated with the objective function of MOFTP. We are also proposing a new approach for the optimization of fractional problems in which the objectives are being optimized by using the numerator function and denominator function simultaneously. Further, a methodology is also developed to find the average cost for each fractional objective of the model. After that, we will find the ranking function for each parameter by using the defuzzification method. By this methodology, we will be able to convert the MOFTP into a bi-objective transportation problem. Goraphene derivatives (GD) are currently being evaluated for technological and biomedical applications owing to their unique physico-chemical properties over other carbon allotrope such as carbon nanotubes (CNTs). But, the possible association of their properties with underlying in vitro effects have not fully examined. Here, we assessed the comparative interaction of three GD - graphene oxide (GO), thermally reduced GO (TRGO) and chemically reduced GO (CRGO), which significantly differ in their lateral size and functional groups density, with phenotypically different human lung cells; bronchial epithelial cells (BEAS-2B) and alveolar epithelial cells (A549). The cellular studies demonstrate that GD significantly ineternalize and induce oxidative stress mediated cytotoxicity in both cells. The toxicity intensity was in line with the reduced lateral size and increased functional groups revealed more toxicity potential of TRGO and GO respectively. Further, A549 cells showed more susceptibility than BEAS-2B which reflected cell type dependent differential cellular response. Molecular studies revealed that GD induced differential cell death mechanism which was efficiently prevented by their respective inhibitors. This is prior study to the best of our knowledge involving TRGO for its safety evaluation which provided invaluable information and new opportunities for GD based biomedical applications. • Two Candida yeast species were screened for biosurfactants production. • Biosurfactant identified as sophorolipid reduced surface tension 72–45 mN/m. • Emulsification activity was retained under high pH, temperature and salinity. • Sophorolipid showed significant antibacterial activity against bacterial pathogens. Biosurfactants from the yeast strains Candida albicans SC5314 and Candida glabrata CBS138 were isolated and characterized. Surface tension of the cell-free broth was reduced from 72 N/m to 42 N/m and 55 N/m respectively. The biosurfactants showed emulsifying ability as the indices against castor oil were determined to be 51% and 53% for C. albicans and C. glabrata respectively and were found stable between pH 2 and 10, temperature 4–120 °C and salt concentration 2–14%. The partially purified surfactants were identified as sophorolipid using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Isolated sophorolipid showed antibacterial properties against pathogenic bacteria and generated reactive oxygen species in Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia coli. Flow cytometric analysis revealed that 60 mg/L of C. glabrata biosurfactant killed 65.8% B. subtilis and 4% E. coli. The data here obtained indicates applications of biosurfactant focusing mainly as antimicrobial and therapeutic perspectives. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
