Diprosopus is one of the rarest types of conjoined twins, caused by incomplete zygote separation in early pregnancy. It defines a condition with duplication of facial structures, monocephalic and 1 trunk. Early detection is difficult, but fetal MRI plays an important role in strengthening antenatal diagnosis of conjoined twin pregnancies and other major congenital abnormalities, complementing antenatal ultrasonography. A 28-year-old patient (G2P1A0) was referred from the regional general hospital for suspected malformations, including Dandy-Walker syndrome and a small mandible Antenatal 3-D ultrasound at 35 weeks revealed a single baby with macrosomia, hypoplasia of the vermis, and cleft lip with malformation of facial structures. A 3 Tesla MRI (Signa, GE Healthcare) revealed various developmental brain anomalies, including duplication of the frontotemporal lobes, corpus callosum agenesis, and small posterior fossa. The identification of 4 orbital structures raised suspicions of face duplication. This patient underwent a caesarean section and delivered a diprosopus twin baby. MRI emerged as an indispensable adjunct, complementing ultrasound in detecting congenital malformations. The success of this approach emphasizes collaborative efforts between clinicians and radiologists for accurate identification and management of complex fetal anomalies.

Pulmonary diseases can be associated with the gastrointestinal (GI) system, particularly if an infection causes them. This relationship between organs is known as the gut-lung axis (GLA). Skin and mucosal surfaces are associated with microbiota (bacteria, fungi, viruses, macrophages, archaea, protists, helminths), which can trigger an immune response in GLA and serve a role in respiratory diseases. For instance, asthma can be inhibited by a specific antigen that is triggered by probiotics, the microorganisms found in the GI tract. Asthma incidence can be reduced by consuming fiber due to its ability to protect airways from infection. Pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) are the first immune component to identify microbial compounds in GI and lung epithelial cells. The PRRs then induce regulatory T-cell (T-reg) and Th-17 differentiation. Diet, antibiotics, and stress can all influence the structure and function of bacteria. This is known as dysbiosis. Lung microbiota can influence immune cell maturation and homeostasis. If the diversity of lung microbiota decreases, it will affect intestinal microbiota and may result in chronic respiratory disorders such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and cystic fibrosis. This literature review explained how the interactions between the intestines and lungs can affect humans’ health and well-being.

Abstract Background Spending on preventive care in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), including Indonesia, is much lower than spending on curative care. There has been a pressing need to develop a clear pathway to increase spending on preventive care. This study aimed to assess the current financing landscape for health promotion and disease prevention in Indonesia and, subsequently, to develop a framework and recommendations for future health promotion financing in the country. Methods We adopted a mixed-method approach to gather information from all relevant stakeholders from December 2022 to June 2023. For the qualitative approach, we conducted (a) in-depth interviews (IDIs) and (b) focus group discussions (FGDs) with government officials at national and district levels, academics, professional organizations, healthcare workers in primary healthcare centres (PHCs), community health volunteers, non governmental organizations and private companies. For the quantitative approach, we applied a national online survey to healthcare workers involved in health promotion in PHCs. IDIs and FGDs were conducted with purposefully selected resource persons at the national level, five selected districts across Indonesia, and within 15 primary health offices and their communities. All qualitative data were recorded, transcribed, coded, interpreted, and then triangulated with national survey findings to develop the financing framework. Results We identified gaps between the theory and practice of health promotion and disease prevention. These included the limited scope of health promotion initiatives, lack of direction and coordination between ministries, agencies and government levels, limited availability and capacity of health promoters, various yet uncoordinated funding resources and inflexibility in using the funds. To bridge the gap, the framework we developed suggests strengthening the legal and regulatory basis, strategically prioritizing financing arrangements, promoting evidence-based health promotion activities, developing the capacity of health promoters, enhancing the health financing information system and improving monitoring and evaluation. Conclusions Identified gaps and challenges in health promotion and disease prevention initiatives inform the development of our framework for future health promotion financing. This framework assists the national government in organizing national health promotion financing strategies and potentially serves as a valuable model for other LMICs.

This study aims to develop accountability practices that harmonize with the local spiritual culture in the Jimbaran traditional village. The current accountability practices are viewed not just as formal procedures but also as informal practices involving moral and ethical relationships with God. An ethnomethodological study integrated with Catur Marga culture as a critical perspective revealed the problem of delays in submitting accountability reports due to the shift in the cultural meaning of “ngayah” and the shift in the implementation of religious ceremonies from spiritual practices to more formal activities. These problems can be addressed by synergizing Catur Marga principles with accountability practices. First, involve community representatives, religious leaders, and traditional elders in the village's financial management, as in regular meetings to align the vision and mission to strengthen the “ngayah” motivation in governance and financial accountability. Second, the traditional village governments must consistently provide Dharmawacana and management accounting training to balance scientific knowledge with traditional spiritual–cultural knowledge. Last is the development of the Catur Marga-based Pararem, which regulates the technical aspects of financial management accountability and should be synchronized with the spirit of devotion to God to preserve the local spiritual culture in the Jimbaran traditional village.

Shallots are an agricultural commodity that has high economic value, but in the last three years there has been a decline in production caused by pest and disease attacks, as well as uncertain climatic conditions. The government promotes programs related to pest control technology, namely integrated pest control (IPM). The purpose of this study was to analyze the income of shallot farming in farmers with IPM and non IPM, the influence of internal, external factors, IPM adoption on production and income of shallot farming in Mijen District, Demak Regency. Survey and interview research methods using structured questionnaires with 125 farmers as respondents. Data were analyzed descriptively and using path analysis. The results showed that the income of farmers who applied IPM was 26.66% greater than non IPM. The results of path analysis showed that internal factors, external factors and IPM technology adoption had a positive and significant effect on production. Production variables are able to mediate the significant influence of internal factors, external factors and IPM technology adoption on farmers' income.

Pendahuluan: Diabetes melitus tipe-1 (DMT-1) adalah penyakit autoimun kronis yang menyebabkan tubuh tidak dapat memproduksi insulin dalam kadar yang cukup. Menurut international diabetes federation (IDF) melaporkan secara global penderita diabetes melitus tipe-1 mencapai 8,75 juta orang dimana sebanyak 1,52 juta orang (17%) berusia di bawah 20 tahun. Angka mortalitas mencapai 18.105 kematian dari jumlah insiden 1,55 juta. Sedangkan di Indonesia jumlah kasus ini mencapai 41.817 penduduk sehingga menempati posisi teratas di ASEAN. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sebuah inovasi manajemen terapi diabetes melitus tipe-1 terkhususnya pada anak yang memiliki keunggulan baik dalam pengobatan maupun produksi. Metode: Studi ini berupa kajian literatur yang bersumber dari beberapa pencarian internet yakni PubMed, Science Direct, ProQuest, Lancet, Google Schoolar, Garuda, Sage, dan EBSCOHost. Kajian ini disusun melalui beberapa tahap diantaranya identifikasi, skrining, dan pemenuhan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Terdapat 8 artikel dari 611 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria. Pembahasan: Beberapa bakteri kelompok asam laktat sudah diuji klinis dan didapatkan hasil yang berpengaruh pada kontrol glikemik pasien diabetes melitus tipe-1. Perbaikan ditunjukkan pada kadar gula darah puasa, 2 jam postprandial, HbA1C, bahkan juga mempengaruhi C-peptida dan kadar insulin yang dibutuhkan pasien diabetes melitus tipe-1. Rute pemberian probiotik yang dilakukan juga cukup sederhana melalui oral, kecuali pada intervensi penggunaan fecal microbiota transplantation melalui injeksi. Kesimpulan: Bakteri asam laktat mempengaruhi kadar gula darah pasien, HbA1C, C-peptida, dan kadar insulin yang dibutuhkan pasien. Interval waktu pemberian probiotik juga mempengaruhi efek klinis yang diharapkan. Introduction: Type-1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) is a chronic autoimmune disease that causes the body to not produce enough insulin. According to the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), globally, there are 8.75 million people with type 1 diabetes mellitus, with 1.52 million (17%) of them being under 20 years old. The study was conducted through several stages including identification, screening, and fulfillment of inclusion and exclusion criteria. There are 8 articles out of 611 articles that met the criteria. Discussion: Several lactic acid bacteria have been clinically tested and shown to have an effect on glycemic control in type 1 diabetes mellitus patients. Improvements are evident in fasting blood sugar levels, 2-hour postprandial levels, HbA1C, and even affect C-peptide and insulin levels required by type 1 diabetes mellitus patients. The administration route of probiotics is also quite simple, usually oral, except for interventions involving fecal microbiota transplantation via injection. Conclusion: Lactic acid bacteria affect patients' blood sugar levels, HbA1C, C-peptide, and the insulin levels required by patients. The timing interval of probiotic administration also affects the expected clinical effects.

Processed food with an attractive appearance which is often sold by traders in the school environment is a special attraction for students to consume, including at SD Negeri 1 Bandar Batauga. The large number of cases of health problems such as poisoning due to children consuming food and snacks sold in the area around the school without knowing whether the food is good for consumption or not is the basis for this activity to be carried out. The service activity aims to educate elementary school-age children about healthy and nutritious food and snacks for consumption in the form of education which consists of four stages, namely observation, implementation of activities (education), evaluation, and reporting of activity results. This activity took place at SD Negeri 1 Bandar Batauga and was attended by 22 students. Service activities in the form of education have a positive influence on students' understanding and knowledge about healthy and nutritious food preparations. This is based on the results of activity evaluations which show that 81% of participants are in the good category (understand), 14% are in the sufficient category (somewhat understand) and 5 % are categorized as lacking (lack of understanding). Overall, service activities run in accordance with the stated objectives.

Abstract Background Depression is a common mental disorder. Detecting (sub)clinical depressive symptoms in adolescents at an early stage and offering a low-threshold early intervention can minimize the risk of serious and/or long-term depression. As such, a digital intervention can be a low-threshold preventive and early intervention. This study aims to examine whether the Boost My Mood (BMM)-app is a suitable preventive early intervention for adolescents with (sub)clinical depressive symptoms. Methods This naturalistic single-arm evaluation study (N = 50) was conducted in adolescents aged 16–21 with (sub)clinical depressive symptoms. Furthermore, the BMM-app was studied in relation to anxiety, worrying, stress, and sleeping problems. An exploratory objective was to determine whether positive expectations and social support are related to app use. Results The study showed a significant decrease in not only depressive symptoms, but also anxiety, worrying and stress while using the BMM-app. Sleeping problems did not significantly decrease over time while using the BMM-app. The degree of use of the BMM-app and telling significant others about using the BMM-app were both not related to a decrease in depressive symptoms. The BMM-app was used significantly more when the adolescent had told relatives about their depressive symptoms. Conclusions A digital intervention, such as the BMM-app, can be a low-threshold preventive and early intervention for adolescents with (sub)clinical depressive symptoms. Beneficial effects of the BMM-app were reported on depressive symptoms as well as other aspects of quality of life, such as anxiety, worrying, and stress. Whereas several factors may have played a role in the current findings on depressive symptoms, there are reasons to assume that part of the reduction in symptoms could be attributed to the BMM-app. Although no causality can be assumed, this study is a first step in the implementation of preventive apps in mental health care.

This research aims to describe the influence of the realistic mathematic education approach model on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities and define the impact of the realistic mathematic education approach on students' learning independence. The sample used in this research was the VA and VB classes of Jarakan State Elementary School, with 35 students in each class. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The instruments used in this research were test questions on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities and learning independence questionnaires. The research test carried out by the researcher used a significance level of 5% so that if the significance value is less than 0.05, it can be concluded that the realistic mathematic education approach positively affects students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The learning independence test can be seen by comparing the total score, mean value, and percentage of the level of student response contained in the descriptive statistical analysis. If the score, mean, and percentage of student response level percentage of the experimental class are higher than the control class, it can be concluded that the realistic mathematic education approach has a positive influence on student learning independence.

Multidrug-Resistant (MDR) bacteria that produce Extended-Spectrum Beta-Lactamase (ESBL) isolates pose a global threat to human health, including in Indonesia. The availability of therapeutic options for ESBL-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae (ESBL-KP) is limited, making early recognition of patients with ESBL crucial to preventing the spread of these bacteria within the hospital. This study aimed to examine the risk factors associated with ESBL-KP in the Arifin Achmad General Hospital Riau, Indonesia. This prospective case-control study was performed from January to March 2018, with the diagnosis of ESBL established using the Vitek 2 compact automated tool. The risk factors examined were gender, age, specimen type, ward of origin, hospitalization exceeding seven days, history of antibiotic usage, presence of diabetes mellitus, chronic kidney disease, immunocompromised status, ICU care, and hospitalization within the past month. Patients hospitalized for more than seven days were 4.75 times more likely to develop ESBL-KP, while immunocompromised patients were 2.92 times more likely to develop ESBL-KP. However, the history of antibiotic use, diabetes mellitus, chronic kidney disease, ICU care, and hospitalization within the past month did not exhibit statistically significant associations with ESBL-KP infection. Therefore, ESBL-KP infection should be anticipated in patients hospitalized for more than seven days and those who are immunocompromised. It is crucial to implement infection prevention and control measures, as well as selecting appropriate antibiotic therapy.

Stunting is a complex problem related to environmental health and the provision of nutritious food. Chronic malnutrition in children results in permanently impaired physical and cognitive growth. Cisaranten Wetan Village, Cinambo District, Bandung has problems with the health conditions of children who are indicated to be stunted. The purpose of this service activity is to provide education to Integrated Healthcare Center (in Indonesia: Posyandu) cadres and the community regarding stunting, as well as assistance with specific nutritional interventions for children indicated as stunted. Education was conducted by the STFI Community Service Team with the theme of balanced nutrition and child development in the form of counseling, videos, and leaflets. Children who are indicated to be stunted are given additional food in the form of egg powder, curcumin honey, and goat milk regularly. The existence of routine education carried out with various media causes a change in the level of knowledge from the moderate category to good in mother respondents with children who are indicated to be stunted. Increased maternal knowledge affects behaviour in parenting and child growth and development.

This study examines the intersection of financial markets and institutional quality (IQ) in enhancing clean energy production and access in Indonesia, a country that has placed a strong emphasis on renewable energy (RE) through its legislative framework. Utilizing various econometric methods, including Dynamic and fully-modified ordinary least squares (OLS), and dynamic simulated autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) models, we analyze time series data from 1996 to 2022. The outcomes underscore the pivotal role of IQ (encompassing indicators like control of corruption, rule of law, regulatory quality, government effectiveness, political stability, and voice & accountability) in fostering the adoption of RE sources and broadening the reach of clean cooking energy. Although the impact of financial markets in isolation yields inconclusive findings, their intersection with IQ consistently bolsters Indonesia’s transition towards clean energy. This study puts forth various practical implications for policymakers seeking to bolster the efficacy of clean energy policies.

Methylene blue is a synthetic dye used in various industries, such as wood, linen, and silk. Generally, as much as 10–200 mg/L of methylene blue is released into the environment and potentially polluting the environment. One of methylene blue removal method from wastewater is adsorption, particularly using blood clam (Anadara granosa) shells adsorbent. Blood clam shells contain CaCO3 (up to 98.7 %) that can be utilized to adsorb methylene. Furthermore, methylene blue adsorption can be enhanced by employed the ultrasonic wave. This research aims to prepare, characterize, and employ blood clam shells as a low-cost adsorbent in the ultrasonic-assisted methylene blue adsorption. The parameters studied were the adsorbent preparation method, adsorbate pH, adsorbent mass, contact time, and initial concentration. The adsorbent preparation method affected the morphology, elemental composition, functional groups, and average particle size, which were confirmed using SEM-EDX, FTIR, and PSA, where this kind of investigation has never been conducted before. Optimum conditions for methylene blue adsorption were obtained for adsorbent A3, pH 12, adsorbent mass of 0.5 g, contact time of 60 min, and initial concentration of 10 ppm, with a removal percentage of 98.614 %. This removal percentage increased by 63.119 % (espescially in A3) compared to without ultrasonic waves, which could only remove methylene blue by 35.495 %. Ultrasonic-assisted adsorption of methylene blue using blood clam shells adsorbent proceeded according to the Sips isotherm model (R2 = 0.9953) and pseudo-second-order kinetics (R2 = 0.939). A3 shows an extraordinary performance, with reusability up to six cylces. The adsorption occurs by electrostatic interaction between adsorbent's surface and cations in methylene blue, chemisorption, and the formation of monolayer adsorbate in heterogenous A3's surface.

Various studies and research have been conducted to find alternatives to liquid insulation. One that is considered the most potential is vegetable oil since it has various advantages, including non-toxic, biodegradable, renewable waste products due to reactions in the form of CO2 and water, high flash points, and better thermal characteristics. In this study, Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) was used as the raw material for insulation oil with the addition of an additive in the form of nano-silica, which improves the quality of the insulation oil. As for determining the feasibility of insulation oil, characteristic tests were carried out in the form of density, viscosity, moisture content, acid number, pour point, flash point, and breakdown voltage. Based on the results of the tests, it was obtained that the lowest density in pure oil was 0.8757 g / cm³, the lowest viscosity in oil with the addition of 0.13 wt% nano-silica was 4.0248 cSt, and the lowest acid number in pure oil was 0.5797 mgKOH / g. It was also discovered that the pour point value is the same for each sample, the moisture content is 0.05%, the flashpoint is > 104 °C, and the breakdown voltage is ≥ 60 kV for each sample. The data show that the insulation oil made from POME has the potential to be used as an alternative to insulation oil.

Abstrak Tanggal 9 Januari 2021, terlah terjadi bencana alam tanah longsor terjadi di Dusun BojongKondang, Desa Cihanjuang, Kec. Cimanggung, Kab. Sumedang. Keberadaanya masyarakat di zona merah sangat berbahaya. Ditambah dengan kondisi lereng yang relative curam sehingga perlu dilakukan studi terhadap stabiltas lereng untuk mengetahui faktor keamanan (SF) dari lereng tersebut. Pemukiman disekitar lokasi bencana alam tanah longsor dapat dikatakan aman jika nilai factor keamanan (safety factor) lerengnya >1,5. Dilakukan analisis terhadap pemodelan keretakan tanah untuk mendapatkan faktor keamanan terkritis di mana tanah dimodelkan sebagai tanah pasir (behaving like sand). Hal ini dapat diselesaikan dengan mengaplikasikan The Concept of Cracked Soil. Penelitian mengenai keretakan tanah baru dilakukan 10 tahun terakhir. Selanjutnya dilakukan penelitian dengan melakukan kajian lapangan untuk menemukan posisi retakan di lereng, dan pada tahun 2020 dilakukan pemodelan analisis numeric untuk stabilitas lereng dalam kondisi retak. The existence of people in the red zone is very dangerous. coupled with the relatively steep slope conditions. Based on these conditions, it is necessary to carry out a slope stability analysis study to find out what the safety figure (SF) of the slope is. Settlements close to landslide disaster locations can be said to be safe if the slope safety factor is >1.5. In the analysis, modeling of soil cracks was also carried out to obtain the value of the critical safety factor by modeling the soil as behaving like sand. This problem can be solved by applying The Concept of Cracked Soil. Research related to crack soil has only been carried out in the last 10 years. The next research was a field study to find the position of cracks on the slope, and finally in 2020 numerical analysis modeling was carried out regarding slope stability in cracked conditions. Abstrak Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara dengan sebaran lahan gambut yang luas. Gambut dikenal sebagai tanah yang bermasalah dalam pekerjaan konstruksi karena memiliki daya dukung yang rendah sehingga tidak dapat menopang pondasi infrastruktur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis karakteristik tanah gambut di Kalimantan, sehingga penanganan yang tepat dapat ditentukan untuk mengatasi permasalahannya. Studi kasus pada penelitian ini adalah tanah gambut di Bereng Bengkel, Palangkaraya. Karakteristik tanah gambut diidentifikasi melalui serangkaian pengujian tanah berdasarkan Peat Testing Manual 1979. Selain itu, dilakukan juga pengujian Scanning Electron Microscopy untuk melihat morfologi tanah gambut, serta pengujian Fourier Transform Infra-Red untuk mengidentifikasi jenis senyawa yang terdapat di dalamnya. Hasil pengujian tanah di laboratorium menunjukkan bahwa tanah gambut memiliki sifat yang buruk secara geoteknik. Dari hasil pengujian SEM, diketahui adanya makropori dan mikropori pada tanah gambut yang sebagian besar ditempati oleh air. Kemudian, berdasarkan hasil pengujian FTIR, diketahui bahwa tanah gambut memiliki senyawa yang bersifat hidrofilik. Peat is known as a problematic soil in construction work because it has a low bearing capacity that cannot support infrastructure foundations. The objective of this research is to analyze the characteristics of peat soils in Kalimantan, so that appropriate treatments can be determined to overcome the problem. A case study of this research is the peat soil in Bereng Bengkel, Palangkaraya. The characteristics of the peat soil were identified through a series of soil tests based on the Peat Testing Manual 1979. In addition, Scanning Electron Microscopy testing was carried out to look at the morphology of the peat soil, as well as Fourier Transform Infra-Red testing to identify the types of compounds contained therein. The results of soil testing in the laboratory showed that the peat soil had poor geotechnical properties. SEM testing revealed macropores and micropores in the peat soil, most of which were occupied by water. FTIR testing showed that peat soil has hydrophilic compounds. This research aimed to investigate how the addition of silver and sulphur dopants modified the TiO2 photocatalyst to enhance its responsiveness to visible light and improve its photocatalytic activity for methylene blue degradation. In addition, Fe3O4 was also added as a core to add magnetic properties to the photocatalyst material. The Fe3O4/TiO2-Ag/S materials were prepared using FeCl3.6H2O and FeSO4.7H2O as the magnetite precursors, titanium tetraisopropoxide (TTIP) as the TiO2 precursor, while AgNO3 and CH4N2S were used as the sources for silver and sulphur dopants, respectively. The synthesized materials were next characterized using FT-IR, XRD, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, SEM-EDX, TEM, and VSM. The activity of the photocatalyst was then assessed through methylene blue degradation in a closed reactor involving various contained Ag:S ratios and reusability examination. The evaluation of photocatalytic degradation results was performed using UV-Vis spectrophotometry. Afterwards, the research findings indicate that the Fe3O4/TiO2-Ag/S was successfully synthesized and exhibited magnetic properties with a saturation magnetization value of 5.33 emu/g. The highest photocatalytic activity (98.21%) was observed in Fe3O4/TiO2-Ag/S (1:1) with a band gap energy value of 2.64 eV under visible light exposure at pH 10, 120 min, 10 mg mass of the photocatalyst, and methylene blue concentration of 5 mgL-1. Furthermore, the Fe3O4/TiO2-Ag/S photocatalyst was known to perform good stability through four reuse cycles.

Centella asiatica, or pegagan in Indonesia, is a perennial plant used in Indonesian traditional medicine (jamu) and functional food with many biological activities. Those biological activities come from the bioactive metabolites present in C. asiatica. Differences in metabolite pathways in each part of the plant affect the accumulation of metabolites contained, thus impacting its biological activity. Therefore, this study aims to identify and evaluate differences in the distribution of metabolites in each part of C. asiatica, namely leaves, stems, stolons, and roots. Each plant part was extracted using methanol and sonicated for 30 minutes. The metabolites in the samples were separated and detected using UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap HRMS. Differences in the distribution of metabolites in each part of the plant were evaluated using chemometrics analysis. UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap HRMS analysis could positively identify 37 metabolites, most of which belong to the phenylpropanoid, triterpenoid, triterpenoid saponin, and flavonoid groups. Principal component analysis was able to clearly distinguish each part of the plant using the peak intensity of the overall chromatogram and the peak area of the identified metabolites. The different biosynthetic pathways of metabolites in plants could cause a difference in the distribution of metabolites in each plant.

Background Fetal growth restriction is associated with perinatal morbidity and mortality. Early identification of women having at-risk fetuses can reduce perinatal adverse outcomes. Objectives To assess the predictive performance of existing models predicting fetal growth restriction and birthweight, and if needed, to develop and validate new multivariable models using individual participant data. Design Individual participant data meta-analyses of cohorts in International Prediction of Pregnancy Complications network, decision curve analysis and health economics analysis. Participants Pregnant women at booking. External validation of existing models (9 cohorts, 441,415 pregnancies); International Prediction of Pregnancy Complications model development and validation (4 cohorts, 237,228 pregnancies). Objective To predict birth weight at various potential gestational ages of delivery based on data routinely available at the first antenatal visit.Design Individual participant data meta-analysis.Data sources Individual participant data of four cohorts (237 228 pregnancies) from the International Prediction of Pregnancy Complications (IPPIC) network dataset.Eligibility criteria for selecting studies Studies in the IPPIC network were identified by searching major databases for studies reporting risk factors for adverse pregnancy outcomes, such as pre-eclampsia, fetal growth restriction, and stillbirth, from database inception to August 2019. Data of four IPPIC cohorts (237 228 pregnancies) from the US (National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, 2018; 233 483 pregnancies), UK (Allen et al, 2017; 1045 pregnancies), Norway (STORK Groruddalen research programme, 2010; 823 pregnancies), and Australia (Rumbold et al, 2006; 1877 pregnancies) were included in the development of the model.Results The IPPIC birth weight model was developed with random intercept regression models with backward elimination for variable selection. Internal-external cross validation was performed to assess the study specific and pooled performance of the model, reported as calibration slope, calibration-in-the-large, and observed versus expected average birth weight ratio. Meta-analysis showed that the apparent performance of the model had good calibration (calibration slope 0.99, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.88 to 1.10; calibration-in-the-large 44.5 g, −18.4 to 107.3) with an observed versus expected average birth weight ratio of 1.02 (95% CI 0.97 to 1.07). The proportion of variation in birth weight explained by the model (R2) was 46.9% (range 32.7-56.1% in each cohort). On internal-external cross validation, the model showed good calibration and predictive performance when validated in three cohorts with a calibration slope of 0.90 (Allen cohort), 1.04 (STORK Groruddalen cohort), and 1.07 (Rumbold cohort), calibration-in-the-large of −22.3 g (Allen cohort), −33.42 (Rumbold cohort), and 86.4 g (STORK Groruddalen cohort), and observed versus expected ratio of 0.99 (Rumbold cohort), 1.00 (Allen cohort), and 1.03 (STORK Groruddalen cohort); respective pooled estimates were 1.00 (95% CI 0.78 to 1.23; calibration slope), 9.7 g (−154.3 to 173.8; calibration-in-the-large), and 1.00 (0.94 to 1.07; observed v expected ratio). The model predictions were more accurate (smaller mean square error) in the lower end of predicted birth weight, which is important in informing clinical decision making.Conclusions The IPPIC birth weight model allowed birth weight predictions for a range of possible gestational ages. The model explained about 50% of individual variation in birth weights, was well calibrated (especially in babies at high risk of fetal growth restriction and its complications), and showed promising performance in four different populations included in the individual participant data meta-analysis. Further research to examine the generalisability of performance in other countries, settings, and subgroups is required.Trial registration PROSPERO CRD42019135045

Simulation-based learning has the potential to foster a transformative learning culture within the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) environment. This report is based on a research project, integrating a simulation into a digital ODL classroom, conducted in Wawasan Open University, an ODL university in Malaysia. The report highlights how a simulation can be valuable to ODL students as an effective learning tool and by creating an immersive learning experience for the students.

Kumada cross-coupling reaction is useful for producing biphenyls, where nickel and copper have been widely investigated as catalysts but mainly homogeneous ones. In this study, we investigated ultrasound-assisted-Kumada cross-coupling reaction over the heterogeneous catalysts in which Ni2+, Cu2+, or both was immobilized on aminopropylsilane-functionalized-SiO2-TiO2 prepared in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). The presence of CTAB effectively prevented the particle growth and therefore SiO2–TiO2 fine particles with high surface area (502 m2 g−1) were formed. The Ni2+-immobilized catalyst showed high catalytic activity for the ultrasound-assisted-Kumada cross-coupling reaction of a wide variety of substrates and was reusable three times. Performing the reaction under ultrasound irradiation was very effective in significantly accelerating the reaction rate compared with the conventional mechanical method. In contrast to Ni2+, Cu2+ was deposited on the support as crystalline Cu(OH)2 and the resulting catalysts with Cu2+ and Ni2+-Cu2+ were less active and less stable under the reaction conditions.

Timur Mandiri Akuakultur. Financial feasibility analysis method using the method Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Net B/Cand Payback Period. The results of the analysis on non-financial aspects show that the business is still feasible to run and develop. Deteksi dini preeklampsi pada ibu hamil bertujuan untuk mencegah terjadinya preeklampsi. Skrining yang sering dilakukan dengan melakukan pemeriksaan tekanan darah salah satunya adalah Mean Arteri Pressure (MAP) dan protein urine, apabila MAP >90 maka dikatakan positif dan protein urine juga sebagai salah satu dasar dalam menegakkan diagnosis. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis gambaran Mean Arteri Pressure (MAP) dan Protein Urine Untuk skrining Preeklampsi Pada Ibu Hamil. Desain penelitian deskriptif. Populasi yang diteliti dalam penelitian semua ibu hamil yang ada di data rekam medis dan data lengkap. Penelitian diambil dari Data sekunder dari Bulan Januari Sampai Maret 2023, ibu hamil sebanyak 210 orang dikumpulkan melalui data rekam medis sesuai dengan kriteria penelitian. Diantaranya: data rekam medis yang lengkap, Trimester 1, 2 dan 3, dan ibu hamil yang melakukan pemeriksaan di Puskesmas Bangkalan. Hasil penelitian sebagian besar umur tidak berisiko 88%, sebagian ibu paritas multigravida sebanyak 137 orang 65%, sebagian ibu hamil trimester III sebanyak 115 orang 54,7%. Indeks massa tubuh sebagian besar obesitas 53,8% dan tekanan darah sebagian besar normal sebanyak 95,1%. MAP ≥ 90 22% dan hasil pemeriksaan protein urine 6.68% positif, ibu hamil sebaiknya rutin memeriksakan kehamilannya terutama di Ante Natal Care Terpadu, sehingga bisa mengontrol tekanan darah dan mengatur pola makan untuk menghindari kenaikan tekanan darah seperti mengurangi konsumsi garam, berlemak dan gorengan. Skrining pada Ibu hamil sebaiknya dilakukan secara terus menerus untuk mengurangi angka kejadian preeklampsi pada ibu hamil.

Desa dewasa ini merupakan subjek pembangunan yang memiliki legitimasi dalam mengatur urusan pemerintahannya sendiri yang disesuaikan dengan potensi dan karakteristik desa. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, dibutuhkan sebuah pemahaman visi terkait pembangunan desa untuk mewujudkan desa mandiri. Namun, perwujudan desa mandiri masih menemui beberapa hambatan krusial, seperti kualitas sumber daya manusia, manajemen organisasi dan pemanfaatan sumber daya alam yang masih minim hingga masih adanya korupsi di sektor desa. Untuk itu, diperlukan sebuah kegiatan penyuluhan hukum yang berkaitan dengan edukasi korupsi bagi pemerintahan desa. Kegiatan pengabdian kegiatan ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Sumenep dengan melibatkan 330 Kepala Desa. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah menggunakan metode PAR (Participatory Action Research). Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan sebagai salah satu aspek penguatan pencegahan potensi korupsi di sektor Desa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah dirumuskannya beberapa metode partisipasi masyarakat yang dilakukan bersama perangkat desa untuk menekan korupsi melalui komitmen “zero tolerance” dalam program inisiasi Desa Antikorupsi.

Background and Aim: Irradiated chitosan can be used as a matrix for slow-release urea (SRU) production. This study aimed to (1) determine the optimal formulation of irradiated chitosan matrix for controlling nitrogen release and (2) evaluate the characteristics of SRU in vitro fermentation based on irradiated chitosan as a feed supplement. Materials and Methods: In the first phase of the investigation, four chitosan-based SRU formulations with varying amounts of acrylamide (3 and 5 g) and gamma irradiation (5 and 10 kGy) were evaluated. Scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform mid-infrared spectroscopy, and ammonia release characteristics were used to observe morphological, functional group, and ammonia release characteristics. In the second phase of research, the most effective SRU formulation was utilized as a supplement to ruminant rations based on rice straw, sorghum straw, and alfalfa. Gas production, rumen fermentation characteristics, and methane gas production were observed in vitro. Results: On the basis of surface image analysis, the four SRU formulas generate a similar appearance. Compared with untreated urea, the SRU3 formula reduced the percentage of ammonia emission by 12.85%–27.64% after 24 h of incubation (p = 0.05), as determined by the first phase study. SRU3 became the basis for the second testing phase. The addition of SRU3 did not affect the optimal gas production in vitro. SRU3 treatment produced less gas than Optigen® treatment (p = 0.05). With regard to rumen fermentation and digestibility, Optigen® yielded better results than SRU3 (p = 0.05). However, the treatment with SRU3 resulted in reduced methane production compared to that in the control (p = 0.05). Conclusion: Irradiated chitosan as an SRU matrix may control the release of ammonia in the rumen medium. The SRU3 formulation is the most effective. The addition of SRU to rice straw-based rations reduces methane production without affecting in vitro digestibility.

The competency of creative thinking for students is very important in the era of global competition because of the level of complexity. This is because creative thinking skills are included in the six competencies that must be possessed in competition in the 21st century. Project-based learning is one method that can be used to train and improve students' creative thinking skills. This research aims to analyze students' critical thinking abilities through a project-based learning model in environmental knowledge courses. The method used in this research is descriptive. The research subjects consisted of 38 participants. The instrument used in this research is an essay test, and four indicators of creative thinking skills are considered: fluency thinking, flexible thinking, original thinking, and elaboration ability. The data analysis technique used is descriptive. The research results show that students' creative thinking abilities in environmental knowledge courses are in the high (creative) category, with a total score for all indicators is 74,75. It indicates that project-based learning is an effective strategy adapted to train and improve students' creative thinking abilities. Project-based learning is an innovative student-centered learning method where students can work autonomously to construct their learning. This is thought to cause students' creative thinking ability scores in environmental knowledge courses to be in the high category.

Trisula pemberantasan korupsi dapat dilakukan dengan cara penindakan, pencegahan dan pendidikan. Sebagai upaya pencegahan korupsi, maka masyarakat dapat ikut berperan melalui berbagai media penyuluhan dan edukasi, salah satunya dengan puisi. Puisi memiliki karakteristik tersendiri sebagai bagian dari kesenian, sehingga melalui puisi, masyarakat dapat memberikan pesan antikorupsi yang mudah diingat dan dipahami oleh para pembacanya. Namun, dewasa ini, tidak banyak masyarakat yang dapat memanfaatkan puisi sebagai salah satu media kampanye sosial antikorupsi, serta menentukan tahapan-tahapan kampanye sosial yang taktis dan tepat sasaran dengan memanfaatkan media puisi. Atas dasar permasalahan tersebut maka diperlukan sebuah kegiatan dengan berfokus pada peningkatan keahlian membuat puisi antikorupsi. Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan ketrampilan para penyair dan pembuat puisi dalam konteks edukasi antikorupsi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan cara diskusi dan berlatih membuat puisi dengan tema antikorupsi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah para peserta dapat memahami dan menghasilkan puisi antikorupsi sebagai salah satu media kampanye sosial yang dapat ditujukan kepada kelompok sasaran yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya.

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are included in the Qur'an, so they can be called Quranic STEM (Q-STEM). The purpose of the study is to find out how Quranic STEM has an influence on da'wah development in the digital era. The research method used is quantitative, with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test (K-S) precondition test and the Levene homogeneity test with Cronbach's Alpha threshold value, as well as hypothesis testing with the t test. The study was conducted on the student population of the Campus Da'wah Institute (LDK) at IPB University with a purposive sampling of as many as 84 people. The results of the normality test found that the Q-STEM variable got a sig value of 0.20 > 0.05 and the digital era da'wah variable 0.20 > 0.05, so that the data was normally distributed. Then, the homogeneity test results were obtained at 0.071 > 0.05, so the data was homogeneous. The results of the t-test hypothesis test were obtained at 0.00 < 0.01, indicating that the research found that Q-STEM had a significant influence on the development of da'wah in the digital era.

Objective: To determine the rationality and effectiveness of therapy in preeclampsia patients at the Inpatient Installation of several public and private hospital in Banyumas area from January-December 2021. Methods: This study is retrospective, employing purposive sampling for data collection. The data were extracted from the medical records of patients diagnosed with pre-eclampsia at the Inpatient Installation. The sample consisted of 212 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of pre-eclampsia. Results: From this study, it was found that antihypertensive medications given were methyldopa (52.8%), nifedipine (45.2%), and amlodipine (2%). It was found that the results of the five appropriate analyses were the suitable indication, right patient, proper medication, right dose, and correct route (100%). The antihypertensive medications used were effective in reducing the blood pressure of preeclampsia patients (100%), with an average decrease in systolic pressure by 37 mmHg, an average decrease in diastolic pressure by 22 mmHg, and an average decrease in MAP by 28 mmHg. Conclusion: Antihypertensives given to preeclampsia patients in several public and private hospitals in Banyumas were rational and effective in reducing the patient's blood pressure. Peristiwa tsunami yang terjadi tahun 2004 telah mengubah berbagai aspek kegiatan masyarakat di Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Dalam aspek pertanian, kerusakan yang terjadi tidak hanya pada lahan budidaya tanaman tetapi juga ekosistem di sekitarnya. Perlu adanya upaya perbaikan lahan dan introduksi tanaman budidaya untuk memperbaiki ekosistem pada lahan bekas terdampak tsunami. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tanah awal di lahan percobaan, data menunjukkan bahwa wilayah ini memiliki kondisi C-organik (1,67%) dan P total (11,43 mg/100 g) kriteria Rendah; N total (0,09%) dan P-Bray I (5,23 ppm) dengan kriteria Sangat Rendah; K-dd (0,29 me/100 g) dan K-total (20,55 me/100 g) tergolong kriteria Sedang; pH (5,25) kriteria Masam dan dengan tekstur Pasir Berlempung. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi dalam mengoleksi keanekaragaman serangga bermanfaat di tanaman refugia dan kedelai. Pengamatan dilakukan setiap minggu sejak tanaman berumur dua minggu sampai panen, dimana serangga yang dikumpulkan diidentifikasi secara morfologi; adanya analisis awal tanah sebelum perlakuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat tingkat keragaman serangga bermanfaat di lahan terdampak tsunami menggunakan pupuk dan tanaman refugia untuk meningkatkan produksi kedelai. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ordo serangga yang ditemukan di areal pertanaman yakni Coccinella transveralis, Priocnemis sp, Verania lineata, Trigona sp., Coccinella sexmaculata, Ropalidia fasciata, Hylaeus sp., dan Paederus fusipes. The Legal basis of BUM Desa as a legal entity has been stipulated in the laws and regulations in Indonesia, but in its implementation there are still problems that require professional management and accountability and apply the principles of good corporate governance so that BUM Desa can play a role in accordance with the mandate of the Village Law. This study aims to determine how BUM Desa Armada manages and is accountable for the management of BUM Desa in accordance with the general principles of good corporate governance and is analyzed legally. The results of the study indicate that BUM Desa Armada still requires strategic and inclusive arrangements regarding strengthening human resources, management of BUM Desa, selection of types, and business units to accountability in the field of business results. The suggestion that the researcher wants to give to BUM Desa ARMADA is to strengthen the synergy between BUM Desa implementing organizations and form an internal risk management committee so that it can minimize the potential for business losses. Purpose – This research explores the influence of work stress and Quality of Work Life (QWL) on employee performance by considering the mediating role of job satisfaction. Method – The research used a quantitative approach involving a complete census method, with a sampling number of 74 employees of the National Narcotics Agency of North Sumatra Province. Data was collected using a questionnaire to collect numerical information related to research variables. The data analysis method applied is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) as an analysis technique. Finding – Job stress does not have a significant favourable influence on employee performance but is negatively correlated with job satisfaction. Meanwhile, the quality of work life contributes significantly positively to employee performance and job satisfaction. Apart from that, there is a significant favourable influence of job satisfaction on employee performance; then, there is a positive and significant influence of work stress and quality of work life on employee performance through the mediation of job satisfaction. Originality (Novelty) – Reveals previously unrevealed findings and comprehensively contributes to a theoretical and practical understanding of work behaviour and human resource development. Implications – Providing direction includes; developing stress management programs, improving the quality of work life, and strengthening job satisfaction to improve employee performance and welfare.

A reduction in rice quality may result from pest infestations in storage facilities. In addition to being a major pest of rice, the rice weevil (Sitophilus oryzae L.) is a problem in warehouses. Attacks by rice weevils may result in lower-quality rice. Using white pepper powder as a pesticide is one way to solve this issue. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how white pepper powder, a botanical pesticide, affects rice weevil pest mortality, as well as the optimal dosage and mode of administration. In this study, there were six treatments and four replications in a single factor totally randomized design. The rate at which rice weevil bugs died and the percentage of rice weight loss were the study's parameters. The results showed that the death of rice weevil pests was influenced using white pepper powder. The highest mortality rate was L5 at 52.5%, which is the best dose.

This study investigates the self-regulation strategies employed by English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students to augment their speaking proficiency. Grounded in Bandura's social cognitive theory and Zimmerman's metacognitive approach, this research adopted a case study research design to capture the essence of participants' experiences. Findings revealed a diverse array of highly effective self-regulation strategies, including reading practice, video consumption, engaging in speaking exercises, writing tasks, note-taking, listening to English content, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Reading practice emerges as a foundational strategy. Its emergence allows students to expand their vocabulary, develop critical thinking skills, and broaden their perspectives. Watching videos is a potent tool for language development, enabling students to acquire new vocabulary, refine pronunciation, and observe effective body language. Speaking practice provides a platform for students to apply their knowledge in verbal communication, resulting in enhanced vocabulary retention, pronunciation, and body language skills. These strategies empowered students to expand vocabulary, develop critical thinking skills, refine pronunciation, and enhance body language. The study aligns with prior research and offers a comprehensive framework for EFL learners to optimize their language acquisition process. Pedagogically, the identified strategies provide educators, curriculum designers, and policymakers in English Language Teaching (ELT) with valuable insights to create learner-centered environments. By integrating these strategies, educators can foster independent, motivated learners, curriculum designers can embed effective self-regulation techniques, and policymakers can advocate for learner-centered approaches. This integration can potentially revolutionize ELT, producing empowered, independent learners poised for success in language acquisition and lifelong learning endeavors.

Food safety is essential for consumers. One of the compound that are prohibited from being used to preserve chicken meat is formalin. It demands a fast classification and sorting process for chicken meat, whether it is processed further or not. The main objective of this research is to develop a model that can predict the formalin content of chicken meat at room temperature using a portable NIR spectrometer. The NIRS method utilizes electromagnetic waves in infrared radiation with wavelengths ranging from 740-1070 nm. The method used to process the data is partial least square discriminative analysis (PLS-DA) to determine the presence of formalin in chicken meat. The results showed that the best pre-treatment was using the 1st derivative which had calibration results with an accuracy value of 92.86%, sensitivity 94.05%, specificity 91.67%, and FPR 8.33%. While the validation results obtained an accuracy value of 92.86%, sensitivity 92.86%, specificity 92.86%, and FPR 7.14%.

Pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan data melalui reduksi, penyajian, verifikasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yaitu ada dua faktor pendorong para remaja Tanggerang menggemari Korean Wave, yaitu faktor internal berasal dari sikap, pengamatan, persepsi para remaja terhadap Korean Wave sementara faktor eksternal didapatkan dari keluarga, lingkungan dan teman sepermainan, serta media massa. Bentuk perilaku konsumsi para remaja penggemar Korean Wave yaitu berlangganan platform musik, mengoleksi merchandise, mendatangi acara pertemuan sesama komunitas, mendatangi konser grup band idola serta mengonsumsi produk-produk Korea. Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari menggemari Korean wave yaitu dampak positif berupa rajin menabung, mampu mengatur keuangan, mengasah hobi, meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa asing, lebih gemar membaca, memberikan motivasi serta hiburan, mendapatkan banyak teman dan melakukan kegiatan berwirausaha. Sedangkan dampak negatif yaitu konsumtif, membuang waktu, tidak fokus belajar, sulit bersosialisasi, terganggu kesehatan fisik dan psikologi, dan terjadi perundungan.

Objective: The study aimed to determine the effect of giving concentrate protein from closed-house (CP-CH) broiler farm waste in rations on the meat quality (physical-chemical) and blood profile of landrace crossbreed pigs. Materials and Methods: The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treat¬ments and 4 replications with 12 finisher-phase landrace pigs with an average body weight of 63.42 ± 2.39 kg. The treatments were: A (control): use of 0% CP-CH + 24% CP-152 concentrate; B: 12% CP-CH + 12% CP-152 concentrate; and C: 24% CP-CH + 0% CP-152 concentrate. The research parameters were meat quality (physical-chemical meat) and blood lipid profile [total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein (HDL), low-density lipoprotein (LDL), and triglycerides (TGs)]. Results: The results showed that treatment group B obtained physical meat quality (pH, drip loss, cooking loss, and water holding capacity) and meat chemical quality (moisture, protein, fat, and ash content) that were almost the same as the control (p > 0.05). By administering 24% CP-CH + 0% CP-152 (C) concentrate, there was a significant decrease in the physical and chemical quality of crossbreed landrace pigs (p < 0.05). Administration of CP-CH at 12%–24% did not affect total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, or blood TGs in landrace-crossbreed pigs. Conclusion: Giving 12% CP-CH (B) obtained meat quality (physical and chemical) almost the same as the control group. Treatment group C significantly reduced the physical and chemical quality of the meat. Administration of CP-CH at 12%–24% did not affect the blood profile of landrace crosses. Human resources are one of the main aspects of an organization. Having quality resources can affect the success of an organization. Therefore, companies need to improve employee performance, one of which is by making organizational changes. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational change on employee performance moderated by self-efficacy and affective commitment. This research applied a qualitative method, and the questionnaire data involved 155 respondents from an unlimited total population. The analysis used in this study is the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method based on variance, namely Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the study showed a significant effect between organizational change and employee performance. The affective commitment variable was also able to moderate the effect of organizational change on employee performance, while self-efficacy was not able to moderate the effect of organizational change on employee performance.

Chitala lopis, also known as giant featherback, is a fully protected fish species on Indonesian official list due to the susceptibility to exploitation. Several studies showed that the conservation of aquatic resources, such as giant featherback, could be achieved through the implementation of fish farming practices and optimization of feed use. Therefore, this study aimed to determine effect of different feeding rate on growth pattern, performance, and condition factor of the first generation of giant featherback. The first generation of fish was collected from the natural reproduction of broodstock in the earthen ponds. A total of 5 samples were then randomly divided into three treatment groups and reared in the nine net cages installed in the earthen pond. The stocking density in each group was three fish per cage, and the treatments were carried out in triplicates. Feed given comprised fish bycatch as control (T0) (5% of the total weight) and freshwater shrimp, Caridina sp. with two different feeding rates, namely 5% (T1) and 7% (T2) of the total weight. The mean initial weight of all the samples in this study was 41 ± 3.85 g. The results showed that the highest survival and absolute growth rates (29.9±6.38 g, 78± 11%) were obtained in T1, but were not significantly different (p0.05). Furthermore, the highest average relative growth rate was also found in T1 (76.28±18.61%) and significantly different compared to other treatments (p0.05). Growth pattern of fish at the beginning of the experiment was negative allometric (0.54), showing a low correlation (0.03), but became positive allometric (4.17) at the end, with moderate correlation (0.66). The results also showed that the highest condition factor was obtained in T2 (0.78±0.03), and there was a significant effect (p0.05). Based on the results, Caridina sp. had a positive and significant impact on the weight growth of the first generation of giant featherback compared to other studies. The aim of this research is to elucidate the improvement of Early Childhood Education management at Attoriq Pamekasan through the implementation of educational management. The research method employed is qualitative descriptive, using interviews, observation, and documentation as data-gathering techniques. Data processing involves data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings illustrate that Attoriq PAUD School has a planning process involving full participation from the headmaster, teachers, and students to achieve clear goals and address existing problems. The organization is conducted considering management principles such as workforce grouping, authority determination, and time discipline. Each school member has their own responsibilities in line with the school's vision and mission. Implementation of educational activities aims to maintain discipline, adhere to instructions, and prioritize collective interests. The headmaster provides guidance and bonuses as appreciation for hard work and cooperation. Regular supervision is conducted to ensure all activities are in accordance with the plan and to identify and address weaknesses for continuous improvement of education quality.

Fruits and seeds morphological traits and seed storage behaviour of Anaxagorea luzonensis are important for seed and plant conservation. Fruits and seeds characterization using a digital microscope and morphometry method. Seed storage behaviour was determined using 100-seed test method. The findings revealed that the colour of A. luzonensis fruit did not change and A. luzonensis seed was glossy, brittle, black in colour, 9.05 x 5.89 x 2.93 mm sized and oval. The seeds are desiccation-tolerant and are categorized as orthodox seeds. These results can become the findings of A. luzonensis seed storage behaviour, because information about it never existed before. Knowing the seed storage behaviour and seed morphology of A. luzonensis is essential so that the recommendation of conservation efforts at PBG in the future are covering the fruit, modifying the environment, breaking dormant seeds, vegetative propagation, and preserving seeds.

Profits are an important part of the information used by investors to measure the impact of profits on stock returns. Earnings Response Coefficient is profits are an important part of the information used by investors, to measure the impact of profits on stock returns, the earnings response coefficient is one of the tools to measure earnings quality. The purpose of this research is determine the effect of accounting conservatism, profitability, and leverage on earnings response coefficient with firm size as moderating variable on influence of accounting conservatism, profitability, and leverage on earnings response coefficient. This study used 38 is sub sector food and beverages manufacturing companies listed Indonesia Stok Exchange (IDX) in 2018-2021 with sampling technique used in this research was purpose sampling. The method of data analysis used is moderate regressiom analysis (MRA). The result of this study indicate accounting conservatism and profitability have positive effect on earnings response coefficient and leverage have negative effect on earnings response coefficient. Firm size is able to moderate on influence of accounting conservatism, profitabilty, and leverage on earnings response coefficient.

To verify the responsible and sustainable functioning of circular economy (CE), assessing the sustainability of CE methods is essential. The consistent absence of a social aspect within the CE has been a recurring topic in research. This paper aims to pinpoint social-benefit aspects that are quantifiable in monetary values and investigate how attributing monetary significance to these elements can enhance the evaluation of social sustainability, leading to more informed decision-making processes. The methodology involves both quantitative and qualitative research methods. A quantitative research study was initiated in February 2023. Two approaches were used for sample selection. First, a case study approach was applied to select a specific SME within the tapioca industry. Survey interviews with workers follow the second step. This study also incorporates qualitative methods like literature review and interviews with key informants (cassava and social experts, government officials, and business owners) in April 2023. This research utilized descriptive analysis as a diagnostic tool, offering valuable insights. Challenges in monetizing social factors are discussed, highlighting the need for standardized frameworks, transparency, and stakeholder engagement. The paper also provides a practical example of monetizing social aspects within a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) tapioca industry to address issues such as gender wage gaps, worker safety, and community engagement. The findings suggest that the costs of monetizing social aspects may outweigh the benefits in certain cases, calling for a reassessment of practices to ensure a more equitable and sustainable approach to social responsibility. Integrating social factors into assessments improves decision-making processes and stakeholder engagement, ultimately leading to more socially responsible decisions.

The trend of new jobs in the future is based on digital technology, so that future needs are graduates from madrasahs who have analytical skills who can think critically. Making textbooks that are valid, practical and effective and in accordance with the needs of students is one way to cultivate a critical thinking attitude independently. The purpose of this research and development is to (1) develop a valid, practical and effective mathematics textbook. (2) knowing the effect of the use of HOTS-based mathematics textbooks on the crisis thinking ability of grade VII MTsN 7 Nganjuk students. The research and development model is the Borg ang Gall model. The data collection method uses validation sheets, observation sheets for the implementation of textbooks, student response questionnaires and tests to measure students' critical thinking skills. The subject is a student of class VII MTsN 7 Nganjuk. The data analysis technique uses a t-test using SPSS. . This research and development resulted in a product in the form of a valid textbook with the validation results of material experts 87%, media experts 85%. Practically based on the results of the student response questionnaire which is 89%. Effectively based on data from the post test value analysis using the t test, the learning outcomes using textbooks have a significant difference in the value of critical thinking ability compared to classes that do not use textbooks of 0.001 or < 0.05.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the business sectors driving the country's economy. MSMEs produce many quality products that can compete in the market, where one of the products that is marketed quite a lot is food products. Several MSMEs in the Purwakarta Regency area have not included information on nutritional value and contamination on labels or packaging so these products cannot be widely marketed or traded in official stores and can only be marketed in their production areas. The Community Service activities carried out aim to carry out nutritional value and contamination tests, followed by improving product quality through workshops and mentoring. The food products targeted are simping and instant turmeric drinks produced by MSMEs in Pondoksalam District, Purwakarta Regency. Laboratory test results show that instant turmeric does not meet several SNI standard parameters, so quality improvement is still needed to be able to adapt it to become a product that meets standards. The results of the questionnaire show that several MSME owners in the Purwakarta area have a poor understanding of food product quality standards and ways to improve them. The coaching program for community service activities shows an increase in knowledge and understanding so that food products from Purwakarta MSMEs are expected to meet product quality standards in the future.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesulitan guru MI dalam mengembangkan instrument autentik HOTS pada proses pembelajaran. Dengan adanya penelitian ini, akan menunjukkan kesulitan-kesulitan yang dihadapi guru khususnya guru sekolah dasar dalam mengembangkan instrument penilaian higher order thinking skills. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian melibatkan guru mata pelajaran dan siswa kelas III, IV dan V MI Sidoarjo. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, dan lembar dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa yang menjadi kesulitan guru sekolah dasar dalam mengembangkan instrument autentik higher order thinking skills yaitu pemahaman guru terhadap kata kerja operasional yang termasuk dalam HOTS, penyesuaian CP (Capaian pembelajaran) dan ATP (Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran) dalam penyusunan modul ajar, kesulitan guru dalam menyusun instrument autentik penilaian HOTS, serta respon peserta didik terhadap asesmen yang dirancang oleh guru menunjukkan mereka merespon dengan baik dan lebih menyukai jika asesmen dibentuk berupa power point menarik dengan soal-soal evaluasi

Sektor manufaktur memegang peranan penting dalam menggerakkan pere-konomian Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kebijakan dividen pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Faktor-faktor tersebut meliputi profitabilitas (diukur dengan ROA), struktur modal (diukur dengan DER), ukuran perusahaan (diukur dengan SIZE), dan likuiditas (diukur dengan CR). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan asosiatif kausal dan kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan data sekunder dari laporan keuangan yang tersedia di website Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling untuk memilih 76 perusahaan manufaktur yang memenuhi kriteria. Analisis deskriptif dan Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda digunakan sebagai metode analisis. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, dan likuiditas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen, sedangkan struktur modal tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan. Konsekuensinya, perusahaan disarankan untuk meningkatkan profitabilitas, likuiditas, dan kinerja mereka dalam hal ukuran perusahaan untuk memberikan dividen yang menarik bagi investor mereka.

Sebelum membangun di atas tanah gambut harus dilakukan perlakuan treatment khusus agar struktur yang dibangun dapat stabil. Salah satu metode yang telah diusulkan untuk memperbaiki sifat tanah gambut adalah stabilisasi tanah biologis melalui pendekatan bioteknologi. Metode bioaugmentasi merupakan salah satu pendekatan perbaikan tanah yang ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempercepat dekomposisi serat gambut, menurunkan kadar air dan mengatasi tingkat keasaman yang tinggi pada tanah gambut. Dalam studi eksperimen ini, bakteri pseudomonas taiwanensis digunakan sebagai agen dalam proses bioaugmentasi, karena memiliki kemampuan yang tinggi dalam dekomposisi serat gambut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan bakteri pseudomonas taiwanensis sebesar 5% di masa pemeraman 28 hari berhasil mengurangi kadar air hingga 309,45%, dari awalnya 704,02% menjadi 394,57%. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan signifikan pada nilai pH, dari 3,2 menjadi 6,5, pada semua variasi sampel. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bakteri pseudomonas taiwanensis dapat efektif meningkatkan sifat fisik tanah gambut.
