The study focuses on clinical cases of skin and subcutaneous tissue neoplasms with respect to changes in clinical, physiological and blood biochemistry. A crossbred cow was presented with swollen udder and history of semisolid udder with enlargement and pus drainage through a small opening. Radical surgery was performed and pus/ fibrosed tissue samples were sent for microbiological and histopathological examination. On the basis of laboratory finding, Streptococcus agalactiae infection with sensitivity to gentamicin and fibrous tissue proliferation was diagnosed. The article focuses on a study regarding the prevalence of skin and subcutaneous tissue neoplasms in canines. It is said that canines are likely to develop benign skin tumours. Findings of the study show that the eight to 12 age group of dogs has a higher prevalence of skin and subcutaenous tumours. It adds that male dogs have a higher prevalence of skin and subcutaneous tumours than their female counterparts.

The prevalence of pediculosis in caprines was analysed during a longitudinal survey. A total of 291 indigenous goats were thoroughly screened to detect the louse infestation. The lice were sampled In 70% ethanol. The blood sucking louse Linognathus africanus was encountered in 144 (49.98%) goats. However only one of the goats showed mixed infestation with Bovicoia caprae. A four years old Jamunapari goat was brought with the history of teat injury at left quarter with leaking of fresh milk from the site and blocked right quarter. Clinical examination showed fistulous opening on the mid region of left quarter. Infant feeding tube was placed in the both quarters. Milk drained out and three-layer closure was performed using no. 3-0 PGA and skin sutured with silk. Postoperatively, antibiotic and analgesic with local infusion were given. In the present study, 9 male calves having thyroid gland enlargement on either side of neck were critically observed and other possibilities of enlargement were ruled out. The animals were divided in three groups (3 in each) with 3 different treatments viz. Iodized salts, Tincture iodine and Thyroxine. Significant clinical response was observed after 15 days in group III treated with thyroxine with complete recovery in 20-25 days. The article presents a case study of a newly born white yorkshire piglet, with the evisceration of intestine and liver due to injury by sow. Topics discussed include stabilization of piglet through fluid therapy and the steroidal drug dexamethasone, use of antibiotics cefotaxim and meloxicam for therapeutics and dressing of surgical wound with povidone solution and soframycin ointment. The article describes the case of a 5-year-old non-descript cow presented at the clinic for a large mass protruding from its external genital. It was found that the protruding mass was coming from the right lateral wall of the vagina after clinical examination while anamnesis showed that it came out during the calving of a healthy calf. The article presents a case study which demonstrates the successful surgical management of salivery mucocele or ranula in a German Shepherd. A four-year old male German Shepherd dog was presented with complaints of large ulcerated swelling in the left lateral portion of the tongue near the franulum linguae. A ranular formation was recognized in the sublingual tissue with ulcerative lesion. The dog was pre-medicated with Atropine sulphate, Xylazine hydrochloride, and was recommended for surgery.

A four month old mongrel pup with fracture of lower jaw due to automobile accident injury was presented for treatment. The diagnosis was confirmed by hanging of jaw and fractured segment and corrected by criss-cross wiring with stainless steel wire. Clinical union was seen after four weeks and wires were removed. The article describes the case of a year old, male Labrador dog who presented to Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex in Anjora, Durg in India with severe bloody diarrhea, anorexia and vomition for the past two days. The faecal sample was negative for protozoan parasite but in both plates, the rings that were seen forming after the swarm covered almost the entire plate was identified as Proteus sp., a gram-negative, rod shaped, motile, faculative anaerobe, and lactose non-fermenting bacterium.
