Abstract

Sera from 97% of 200 patients with invasive amoebiasis and 15% of 100 general medical patients gave positive results when quantitatively tested with a latex agglutination test All degrees of agglutination were observed and no correlation was found between latex agglutination results and non-invasive amoebae in the gut. Follow-up sera obtained over a period of 6 months from 8 patients showed reactions of varying intensity. It was concluded that individual variation in antibody production was such that the test could not be used as an index of severity but should simply be read as either positive or negative.

• εHf–Nd(t) model is increasingly juvenile eastwards in Thailand. • The Sibumasu Terrane and Inthanon Zone contain relatively evolved, recycled crust. • Sibumasu has ancient model ages and was likely part of cratonic Australia. • The Sukhothai Terrane is an isotopic hybrid, a continental arc built on Paleoproterozoic basement. • Indochina is a juvenile Mesoproterozoic–Neoproterozoic arc, possibly from the Pinjarra Orogen.

Abstract

© 2018 This data article provides zircon U–Pb and Lu–Hf isotopic information along with whole-rock Sm–Nd, Sr and Pb isotopic geochemistry from granitoids in Thailand. The U–Pb ages are described and the classification of crystallisation and inherited ages are explained. The petrography of the granitoid samples is detailed. The data presented in this article are interpreted and discussed in the research article entitled “Probing into Thailand's basement: New insights from U–Pb geochronology, Sr, Sm–Nd, Pb and Lu–Hf isotopic systems from granitoids” (Dew et al., 2018).
