Since the 1970s, research has illuminated the personal and social dimensions of the experience of stuttering in the discipline of speech-language pathology. However, the disabling experiences of individuals who stutter remain underrepresented within the body of scholarship. We searched for articles published in English, between 1990/01/01 and 2017/12/31, in the Pubmed, Web of Science, Scopus, PsychInfo and PsychArticles databases. After screening, 31 full text articles met the criteria for inclusion. Five themes emerged: implementation context, theories and methods, population, definitions of stuttering and areas of research. This descriptive review lays the groundwork for future disability research in the context of the lived experience of people who stutter. Over the last four decades, there has been increased interest in the personal and social experience of people who stutter. However, limited research has explored the disabling experiences of people who stutter. We present a review in order to illuminate the trends and patterns in the current body of qualitative research. We found that various aspects of the experience of people who stutter were explored using different approaches and methods. This descriptive review identifies opportunities for further development of the field and lays the groundwork for future disability research in the context of the experiences of people who stutter, taking account of other aspects of their identities such as gender, race and age. The purpose of this paper is to identify gaps in the opportunity management literature (as a subset of overall risk management) and to identify future research in opportunity management. The methodology is non-experimental, using a descriptive literature review content analysis of opportunity management articles published between 2010 and 2019. The identified strengths and weaknesses establish a future research agenda, including process steps and tailoring, risk exposure, and balanced risk. The research resulted in a repeatable methodology that can be applied to other research domains in addition to the opportunity management research agenda. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

RELEVANCE ,ELECTRONIC journals ,LITERATURE reviews - Abstract
• A multi-dimensional potential practical relevance framework is proposed. • Using the framework, the scholarly IS strategy articles over the past 10 years in five top IS journals are reviewed. • Key strengths as well as opportunities to increase the potential practical relevance of this research area are identified. While studies suggest that IS strategy is an important topic for practitioners, in-depth explorations of the potential practical relevance of this research area are lacking. In this paper, we develop a multidimensional framework of potential practical relevance and use it to conduct a multimethod descriptive review of 109 IS strategy papers published over the past 10 years in top IS journals. The framework contributes to the IS literature by synthesizing various characteristics that make a research project conducive to being practically relevant. The review highlights how IS strategy research has offered the potential for practical relevance in the past and recommends opportunities to increase this, especially in the digitalization era. SMART cities ,LITERATURE reviews ,CLASSIFICATION ,REFERENCE sources ,SOCIAL impact - Abstract
Smart City (SC) has been a popular area of research and practice during the last decade. An in-depth examination of the existing literature reviews on SCs divulges the scarcity of studies classifying the literature into multiple themes and identifying the popular and less popular themes based on the number of peer reviewed research papers under respective theme. Hence, in this study, a descriptive literature review of 86 peer-reviewed papers on SCs has been conducted to bridge this gap. The findings demonstrate that themes such as SC services design and management, innovation and technology, and citizens' engagement in design and development of SCs have been extensively studied, whereas, themes such as the social impact, governance and policy, and performance indicators and standards have received moderate attention. However, there are also less popular themes such as the implementation barriers and SC strategy. Further, this study provides a reference source to future researchers. It also delivers valuable information to the policymakers and government bodies, which are actively, involved in the SC projects. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper presents a descriptive review of the information system (IS) infusion literature and proposes a structured framework of factors influencing IS infusion. The IS infusion stage, the last stage of IS implementation, is associated with IS implementation success and evidence suggests the depth of IS use leads to increased efficiency and effectiveness. Despite the introduction of the IS infusion concept in the late 1980s, we observe only a small number of empirical studies that examine factors influencing IS infusion at an organizational and an individual level. In addition, some studies show conflicting results and there is no framework to organize previous studies in a meaningful way. We believe that a descriptive review is an appropriate approach at the current state of IS infusion literature. Given the importance of IS infusion, it seems timely to develop a structured framework detailing all the key factors influencing IS infusion found in the extant literature. The framework is drawn from factors derived from theories used in previous IS infusion studies, such as the technology organization environment theory and the theory of planned behavior, to classify different types of influencing factors namely organization, technology, task-job, firm environment and the individual factors. This review paper facilitates further theory development in the IS infusion domain by highlighting under-researched areas, suggesting future directions, and providing a reference source and a classified framework for IS researchers interested in IS infusion. - Abstract
Examensarbetet bidrar genom att visa på att patienterna upplevde den perioperativa informationen som bristande och att detta påverkade deras återhämtning., Background: Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women and breast cancer surgery is the most common method for treatmentment. The pathway to recovery can be long and the nurse provides important support. Previous research shows that the nurse’s perioperative information is important for the patients recovery, but that this information isn’t always assigned to benefit the patients. Aim: To describe the female patients experiences of perioperative information with a focus on recovery from breast cancer surgery. Method: A descriptive literature review drawn from 15 articles of qualitative, quantitative and mixed design. Results: Four themes were created; To recieve the right amount of information, To recieve information at the right time, To recieve information about what happens after surgery and To recieve individualized information. The patients experienced both that they were reciving too much and too little information. The timing of information was important and to recive the information early. It was also of significance to recive detailed information about postoperative recovery and individualized perioperative information from the nurse. Conclusions: The patients experienced that the right amount of information given at the right time in the treatment had a positive effect on their recovery. A lack of postoperative contact and non-individulized information had a negative impact on their recovery. This thesis contributes by showing that the patientients experinced the perioperative information as lacking and that it influenced their recovery.

Smart city (SC) research is an engaging research area as evidenced by a rising number of publications indexed in the most relevant global citation databases. However, research advances are not equally discussed and distributed within Europe. This study puts a focus on the specific geographic location of Southeast Europe (SEE), intending to fill the gap in understanding the research advances in this part of Europe. The aim of this descriptive review was to systematically investigate peer-reviewed publications focused on SC research in SEE in order to present the findings and the state-of-art in this research domain. Seventy-four papers were thoroughly studied, analysed and classified based on their focus on SC themes and common sub-themes. While smart governance had been studied extensively in the SEE region, topics related to the smart economy and smart people received low attention from researchers. Mapping the selected papers to the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle showed that SC research in SEE is still in the conceptualising and planning stages, with very little evidence from the real implementation and follow-up activities. From the stakeholders’ perspective, the focus is on the institutional point of view as most of the papers present their findings in relation to (national or local) government bodies or policies, without balancing with corresponding businesses’ or individuals’ (users’) point of view. In general, user involvement was found to be very low in regards to current SC research in the SEE region.

- Abstract
Purpose – The purpose of this study is to assess the current state of research on open source software (OSS) in the library context. Design/methodology/approach – This study employs a descriptive literature review. It categorizes library OSS research according to a classification scheme developed for the study, and analyzes the research based on year published, publication outlet, type of software discussed, type of article, type of library, and article topic. Findings – The authors found significant research attention devoted to open source repository applications, online public access catalog (OPAC) software, and integrated library systems (ILS). The majority of article types employed were case studies and discussion pieces. When articles were focused on a specific library, it was dominantly an academic library. Article topics centered around OSS adoption, development, provision of foundational or introductory information, and OSS performance. Originality/value – The authors are not aware of any other study that surveys and synthesizes the literature on OSS in the library context. Not only does this study provide a reference source and classification scheme for those conducting future research in this area to utilize, but it also identifies areas in this field that have received the most research attention, as well as areas that could benefit from future studies. This study will prove helpful to scholars looking for directions to take their research. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Nightingale’s idea of caring as a call for women is a milestone in the nursing profession. Men had before Nightingale had a significant role in caring but today male nurses only represent approximately 10 percent of registered nurses in Sweden. Eriksson describes in her theory that fundamentally man is a caregiver and the importance of a caring relationship. However there are experiences among patients that male nurses are not suitable for caring and that they prefer care from a female nurse. Connells theory about masculinity as connected to the male body generates an image of the man as strong, insensitive and aggressive. Aim: To describe male nurses’ experiences of caring. Method: A descriptive literature review drawn from 10 qualitative research articles. Results: Three themes emerged through the analysis; Attitude of caring, touching and intimate care and masculinity and caring. Male nurses often had to develop special strategies for example in establishing a caring relationship. The caring relationship and caring could be difficult for male nurses and the importance of being adaptable was therefore emphasized. Touching was described as delicate and many described the importance of being careful to avoid misunderstandings. Conclusion: Male nurses need to be careful and able to adapt both in caring for male and female patients. Male nurses have to think before they take action to a greater extent than female nurses.

- Abstract
We present a descriptive literature review and classification scheme for cloud computing research. This includes 205 refereed journal articles published since the inception of cloud computing research. The articles are classified based on a scheme that consists of four main categories: technological issues, business issues, domains and applications, and conceptualising cloud computing. The results show that although current research is still skewed towards technological issues, new research themes regarding social and organisational implications are emerging. This review provides a reference source and classification scheme for IS researchers interested in cloud computing, and to indicate under-researched areas as well as future directions.
