The investigation of drilling directional wells in the fields of western Turkmenistan is relevant at the present time, as it can contribute to the optimisation of hydrocarbon production processes in the region, increasing the efficiency and sustainability of production. The purpose of this study is to analyse and evaluate aspects of drilling directional wells in the fields of western Turkmenistan to determine their potential for increasing hydrocarbon production and reducing operating costs. Among the methods used, the analytical method, the classification method, the functional method, the statistical method, and the synthesis method etc., should be noted. The study is an extensive examination of the experience of drilling directional wells and cluster drilling in western Turkmenistan's oil and gas fields, which considers modern technological advances. Within the framework of this study, potential directions for the development of technology for drilling directional wells were considered, and recommendations were formulated on the use of specialised equipment and high-quality materials for cluster drilling in the south-western part of Turkmenistan. The use of modern technical solutions that meet international standards has led to the successful completion of cluster drilling of directional wells at fields in this region. This study is a substantial starting point for the future development of the technology of cluster drilling of deep directional wells, especially considering high reservoir pressures, and it contributes to the technical renewal and organisational restructuring of the cluster drilling process based on scientific research. The geological structure of the evaporite formation in the Amu Darya syneclise is a complex system that provides valuable insights into the region's geological history and economic potential. The study aims to analyse the main characteristics of the geological structure of the evaporite formation in the Amu Darya syneclise to expand knowledge of the geological and environmental history of the region and to identify the potential of these deposits for various applications. The methods used for this study included geological mapping, mineralogical analysis, stratigraphic analysis and geochemical research. The study identifies three distinct water-bearing horizons within the evaporite complex: Sharaplinsky, Yolotan, and Sakar. These horizons exhibit varying characteristics in terms of composition, water content, and distribution across the basin. Geomorphological manifestations, such as salt lakes and salt marshes, play a crucial role in understanding the ecological and geological history of the region. The evaporite formation holds substantial economic importance, hosting valuable resources including salts, oil, and gas. This geological structure supports regional industrial development, job creation, and overall economic growth. The study also highlights the need for further research into the geology and geomorphology of the Amu Darya syneclise to better understand the formation and dynamics of evaporite deposits and their role in the region's current environmental and economic sectors. The relevance of the research is justified by the rapid development of the oil industry, which requires constant improvement of methods and equipment to increase extraction efficiency and reduce environmental impact. The aim of this study is to enhance the current engineering aspects of drilling in the Altyguyi field while considering increased productivity and reduced environmental impact. Among the methods used, it is necessary to mention the synthesis method, abstraction method, generalization method, induction method, deduction method, classification method, and others. This study examines the technological aspects of operating wells in the Altyguyi gas-condensate field. Extensive laboratory and industrial research on the properties and composition of oil, gas, and condensate was conducted to properly implement the dual completion technology for gas extraction from one formation and oil extraction from another formation in a single well. By implementing advanced drilling methods, including horizontal and multi-hole drilling, as well as using modern drilling fluids, it was possible to improve well productivity and reduce drilling time. As a result of technology optimization, the overall efficiency of the oil and gas extraction process in the field has been increased, confirming the significance of innovation implementation for improving results in the oil industry. These enhancements not only increased drilling safety and efficiency, but also reduced the negative impact on the environment, emphasizing the importance of integrating modern technologies with environmental considerations in the oil extraction process. The purpose of this study was to optimise directional drilling of exploration wells in the Caspian Sea area of Turkmenistan to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact. The methods employed include the analytical method, classification method, functional method, statistical method, and synthesis method. The study analysed the experience of drilling a directional exploration well in the North Goturdepe field in South-West Turkmenistan with a bottom hole offset of more than 1000 m from the wellhead under anticentral intracavity pressure conditions. The findings of the study confirmed the effectiveness of the new methods to increase hydrocarbon production, reduce time costs, and mitigate the negative impact on the natural environment. The relevance of the study of construction of directional deep wells in Turkmenistan lies in the application of innovative drilling methods for efficient oil production from hard-to-reach horizons, which is becoming a strategic necessity in the context of the development of the oil industry in this country. The purpose of this study was to analyse the effectiveness of the simultaneous separate operation method in the context of hydrocarbon production in one of the fields of Turkmenistan. In the course of the work the statistical method, comparative method and analysis were used. The results of the study indicated that the introduction of advanced technologies and equipment in the process of drilling and well development in the region of Turkmenistan had a profound impact on oil production. It has led not only to increased efficiency and reduced well construction time, but also increased oil production. The demand for this technology is of particular importance in western Turkmenistan, where directional drilling has become a key factor in the region's economic development and energy security. The gamma ray logging results show fluctuations in natural radiation levels corresponding to different geological formations. Pressure curves plotted as a function of depth demonstrate fluctuations in reservoir pressure. The results of the work are of direct practical significance, allowing to accelerate the development of fields in difficult geological conditions, offshore shallow waters, as well as to reduce drilling costs without requiring changes in oil recovery factor. Hydrodynamic analyses of the reserves of horizontal wells at the Goturdepe field and productive layers extracted from previously operating wells, as well as the presence of several productive layers in them and their properties, were carried out.
